The Worst Hotel Experience of My Entire Life – A Total Nightmare
I’ve traveled the world and stayed in every type of lodging imaginable over the past 50 years, but I have never experienced anything as horrifying, outrageous, and downright unacceptable as this.
From the moment we arrived, we were hit with an overwhelming stench of marijuana. It wasn’t coming from outside — it was coming directly from the front desk clerk, who was visibly high and completely incoherent. She was so intoxicated she couldn’t even log into the hotel’s system with her own ID and password. That’s right — we were denied our reserved room because the hotel staff was too stoned to function.
After driving over 8 hours without dinner, we were exhausted, frustrated, and in desperate need of rest. We called Extended Stay America’s customer service, only to be met with a useless automated message telling us they “couldn’t assist after 6 p.m.” It was 8:30 p.m. We were stranded with no help, no access to our room, and no one taking responsibility.
This wasn’t just inconvenient — it was dangerous. The hotel had no security, and anyone could walk in. Outside the entrance, there were multiple groups of people openly smoking weed, loitering, and making the area feel extremely unsafe. The whole place reeked of drugs, neglect, and lawlessness.
To call this place unprofessional would be a massive understatement. This was total chaos, fueled by drugs and zero accountability. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. In fact, I would strongly urge anyone reading this:
DO NOT STAY HERE — unless you want to be stuck outside, surrounded by drug use, unsafe conditions, and zero customer service.
Extended Stay America should be ashamed to operate under these conditions. This wasn’t just a bad experience — it was a complete violation of trust, safety, and human decency.
