My family and I chose this location for its location because we were in town for Junior Olympics. The receptionist who checked us in first claimed she couldn't find our reservation. Eventually thankfully she did. We had spent 12 hours on the fields and all were tired and in need of showers and food. My feet were sticking to the floor. The carpets looked like they were in desperate need of a shampooing. But at this point we were too exhausted to go anywhere else. The second day we come back after 3pm and maid staff had not cleaned our rooms or brought clean towels. Again we were outside all day and all needed showers. I took the dirty ones downstairs and after standing there for 5-10 minutes while 6 employees (1 was either the owner or the manager) are standing there not asking to help me the receptionist tells me to come back in 30 minutes. (They couldn't bring them to us.) It took 3 hours and 4 more trips down from the 3rd floor to get 5 of the 8 clean towels and 2 bath mats. No wash clothes or hand towels. I again was told I could come back if Iwanted those. During these 3 hours my husband tried to give our trash to the maid staff on our floor and was told he had to take it downstairs. And also they couldn't give him clean towels despite the fact the linen closet on our floor had plenty of towels. The elevator sounds like it is about to come undone. My husband was told repeatedly they were doing construction as an excuse. That was not explained before booking nor were the rooms discounted to account for this. I will never again stay at an Executive Inn. Nor will I refer anyone. I worked for Executive Inn on the early 90's and thought they were one of the nicest hotels I had ever been in. Now they rank right there with the motels nobody but the unsavory locals would want to stay in. I took pictures to post with this review but I'm guessing that option has been removed because the truth hurts.

Front desk opened my room to any authorized guest. My room was robbed. I was outside smoking a cigarette respecting their policies. I was told I would be contacted in 48 hours. A big fat nope. Update: Been appx 6 weeks since incident. No form of management has reached out Never even offered a refund. Stay at your own risk.

This establishment is nasty. Day one the fire alarms went off and they accused my African American self of smoking Many of times. If you ask for help from the front desk thay act as if you are bothering them. Lastly I stayed for 4 weeks and they didn't come to clean my room once I even went as far as putting in a request. Please spend your money at a place you are treated with respect.

I had a reservation at this hotel, but unfortunately, my room wasn't ready upon arrival. I felt that the reception staff could have been more attentive during this time. Additionally, I overheard another guest expressing concerns about a roach in their room. Overall, my experience was bad I had to look for another place to stay with my kids, so tired after driving many hours.

I’ve been staying at the hotel for a few weeks now. I switched to a new room and was there for a few days when the bed broke. They immediately offered a new room which was nice. I told them that I had planned on extending my stay the next morning and upgrading to a king size bed and asked if they minded upgrading me then instead for the inconvenience. (the queen size mattresses I have experienced there are not very comfortable but for the price point my expectations are not very high) they said they would have to charge me and I declined to pay more and was willing to take another Queen room. I moved to the new room (without a cart to help me move my many things because “no cart was available”). I got to the new room and the bed was broken. I told the front desk and told them I just want a king room because I really just want a good bed at this point. The lady offered me the room and I thought she meant at no charge and I said ok but I asked to see the room before I once again had to move my things. She showed me the king room. It was far from an elevator and she offered to let me use the housekeeping cart to help move my things. I thought that would have been nice to offer when I just spent 45 minutes moving my stuff last time but I’ll accept the offer. Then we get to the front desk and I’m thinking she is just going to give me the key. Well she tried to charge me $5 and I told her things had been very inconvenient with all the room changing and I thought it should be free and she called her boss. The boss thought I could not hear him and I don’t think he realized I had already seen the king room. I know he didn’t know that I was so over it and was now willing to pay to $5 to upgrade but he told her not to give me what I was asking for and told her to tell me they don’t have any room to move me to. They didn’t offer any type of solution and just left me assigned to a room with a broken bed and lied and said they can’t do anything. The guy was also very rude to the employee over the phone. So overall the management treats the guests and the workers badly. I’m VERY disappointed with their SMELLY, old, broken lock having, lumpy mattress, get harassed in the parking lot by vagrants hotel.

To Bibi and Janine! This is my time in Houston and i can say I know where I will be when I return! SO far I was greeted with such a warm smile and positive energy by these wonderful ladies! I work with properties so my standards rasied a bit after I was assisted by them. I never had a room with A KITCHEN! Thank you for starting my experience off right!

Google
Great place to stay if you want your belongings stolen.... especially since the staff seems to lack common sense. Management is a joke and will NEVER return phone calls, emails..... This Extended Stay is not apart of the corporation and is a franchise....privately owned Apparently SAI RAM KIRBY can careless about the safety of guests

I stayed at the extended stay location 2330 Southwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77098 location from 3/6/25 to 3/9/25. Not only did I book one room I had 3 rooms booked because I recommend my friends and family who came to Houston for rodeo weekend. Soon as we checked in the room I was assigned had the most disgusting odor. I wish I would’ve taken that as a sign to check out immediately. Yet I stayed and this was the worst experience I have ever encountered. My room television didn’t work, telephone didn’t work, heater didn’t work. The toilet clogged everyday. Last but not least they had ROACHES!!!!!! Every time I complained I was told someone was coming to fix it and nothing was done. The breakfast was pitiful!!!!!!!! Old muffins packaged oatmeal and coffee. I was told at the end this location were for extended stays for people who came to live at this location had I known before hand I would’ve never stayed here. My hands were tied because it was rodeo weekend everything was sold out. And I had no rental so uber was my transportation's having to leave and waiting for a refund would’ve  wasted so much of my time. Towels were also stained!!!! This place was beyond disgusting and embarrassing that I even recommended to my friends!l and family I would highly appreciate a refund immediately! I will write reviews, email, and call until I am able to get a refund. This made my trip such a hassle!!!!!!

Yelp
"Booked" a reservation 2 weeks before arriving. Paid up front through a 3rd party booking site in full. Arrived at 3pm to check in on my arrival date and they stated that they "called me earlier that day and since I didn't answer they gave my room to another person". No other rooms in the area. NEVER stay at this hotel. If you think you have a room you probably don't. I will never use this chain again.

Yelp
Pros: free self parking, free coffee and oatmeal in the morning 6:30-9:30am, microwave in room. Cons: no elevator service til 12/04/17. I stayed here 11/11/17-11/14/17. Stinky stairwells. Slow receptionist at night The rooms were just the minimal, nothing fancy. Basic bed, bathroom, small kitchen. Bed sheets didn't look clean, they looked old. Since the elevators were out of service, we had to take the stairs, which was stinky, damp and musty smelling. The morning coffee was delicious!!! That's all I can say. Would not come back.

Yelp
The price was about $100 for an overnight stay on Saturday night. The room was clean. It took about five minutes for the shower to heat up. The hotel is right off the freeway which was a convenient location. The breakfast consisted of packaged muffins, granola bars, hot chocolate and coffee.

Yelp
This is one of the worst poor management I stayed her for 6 days.when I arrived there were no pots and pans dishes or forks and spoons went to the desk they had no pots and pans now if a guest is staying for 6 nights how come there were no pots and pans available to use. Every day the lobby smelled like weed.the front desk is closed from 11:00 pm till 7:00 am so no protection for the guest they have a security that sits in his car at the beginning of the driveway coming in with a sign saying sign but you don't sign in you just continue on the property again no protection for the guest all kinds of homeless looking people coming in and out of the hotel during the course of the night again no protection I would never ever put anyone in a position to stay at extended stay America at 2300 loop south west it smells its stuffy in there there remote control works when it wants for you and your family's safety DONT HAVE YOUR FAMILY STAY HERE they really need me to help them manage this motel to get it in tip top shape I never ever had to rate a motel this low its not a safe place to stay they really need to bring in good management HERE

Yelp
Length of Stay: 2 Months The Good: The room was very clean when I arrived and the front desk staff were excellent throughout my entire stay. They provide all the kitchen items you may need for a long stay. The location is also very convenient for any area you need to visit in Houston, especially Greenway, the Museum District, or Upper Kirby. You are also located near many great restaurants and grocery stores. Within a five minute drive you can meet any need which you may have during your stay. The Cons: There appears to be a lack of communication or management ability in the hierarchy of this hotel. First of all I went to inquire about a broker card reader at the entrance closest too my room, expressing my safety concern, I was met with hostility by one of the managers and told that propping the door was needed for the convenience of the guest. I understand the lack of convenience caused by having to walk through the lobby but simply wanted to express my objections about the safety of the situation in case something were to happen to my room. In the end the manager assured me that they had ordered the part and were working on fixing the problem. Two months later and this problem still was not fixed. The second problem I had with this hotel was their inability to provide housekeeping service on the day which I was promised it would be provided. Three times during my stay there I had to inquire at the front desk as to why I had not received any housekeeping that week and then only after informing the front desk staff did I receive the weekly housekeeping service I was promised. The last week of my stay I actually did not receive any housekeeping service at all. When housekeeping did actually clean my room they did a very good job.

Yelp
I came to Houston to visit some family for Labor Day weekend, and attend a football game. I had a long drive from Kansas City, MO so we arrived a few hours earlier than the normal check in. That part was fine. There were rooms available. We had 3 rooms total. Because we were early we could not all be on the same floor. I'll start with the elevator. It sounds like it's about to break down every time you use it. Apparently they only clean/change bedding in the rooms every 7 days. They also clean the rooms when someone checks out (supposedly). I asked if our rooms had been cleaned when I was checking in. I was assured they were clean. Lies...ALL LIES!!!! I will start with my father's room. This room had a stopped up sink and blood stains on the sheets. It was disgusting! Also the water was not working in the bathroom. The next room was my room. The bathroom was dirty. The sheets were stained. There was a dead bug in the room. The bathroom door did not close. I felt so disgusted being in that room. It was so gross. My uncle's room on a higher floor was also dirty. Their water was not working. The rates we were charged were ridiculous; $85.00 for the first night and $95.00 for the second night. This place should never charge more than $50.00 a night. They only provide a grab n go breakfast. Its granola bars, fruit and muffins. The staff was nice, but the place was nasty. I will not stay there again!
