Look, for the most part you get what you pay for. So yeah, the rooms could be updated and the internet is a little slow. But it's inexpensive, especially for an area as beautiful as Coral gables. And beyond that, the service is sublime. Several times, they went above and beyond in ways I wouldn't even have even asked for, but was pleased to have. They are truly there for you, sometimes when you need them the most.

Excellent location. Stayed here for a long weekend. Wanted a walkable neighborhood, and this was a great choice. Easy commute from Miami airport on the 37 bus. An easy walk to loads of restaurants and bakeries, the Publix, Walgreen's, Books and Books, the restaurant row on Giralda Ave. and the great coffee at Pacion del Cielo Coffee. Plus, the free Coral Gables Trolley up and down the Ponce de Leon was wonderful.||The entrance and lobby are basic, as are the rooms. But when I expected the floors to be cold and slightly dirty/dusty, they were actually very nice underfoot and very clean. The windows could be cracked open for fresh air. The linens and towels were all very clean, as was the kitchenette.||The hallways were quiet, though the doors are quite loud when they close. Fortunately, I had quiet neighbors.||As a solo traveller, the doors had a deadbolt and flip bar lock, which helped me, at least, feel somewhat more secure. Though, I also use other door security options. The immediate neighborhood, and entrance in/out felt safe, though I was never out after dark. I felt the neighborhood was very walkable and safe--I'd seen lots of residents walking dogs.||Check in/out hotel staff were professional and competent, and felt sincerely helpful and respectful.||The TV had lots of choices, though my tv had a bluish cast, which I couldn't adjust. I mostly watched tv on my ipad, though. WiFi worked well.||I didn't want to spend a lot on a hotel as this wasn't a pleasure trip for me, but was surprised at how nice this area of Coral Gables was. When I need to return, I'll likely stay here again, or in the neighborhood.

The rooms are old and tired. The sheets are thin and bare. The Internet is incredibly slow and they try to upsell you so that you’ll pay for high-speed Internet at 299 an hour which is outrageous. They provide a stove but not a single pan or spatula to cook with the refrigerator is dirty and makes noise in the bathroom tub is peeling. The vending machines don’t work and if you need toilet paper, you have to go downstairs and they will give you one roll at a time even though you might be here for eight or nine days so every other day you gotta go ask for toilet paper. I will never stay here again

Very clean. It's an extended stay, so you can't expect much, but they are very clean and orderly. There is always security in the parking lot and they don't allow stragglers. I will definitely be staying there again when I'm in that area

Seems to me there may be hidden cameras in their rooms and a lot of spiritual warfare going on too since I had an incident in the beginning with one of the workers getting unauthorized access to my room messing with my belongings as well as other vibes but, hey no evidence right? 😹👀. lol I’M JOKING! (Yes this was my personal experience so no need to point out how you have other diverse workers and attendees). Besides that I had a great stay. Prime location in Coral Gables, close by a lot of shops and restaurants. Nice spot if you like walking. Nice addition of the thermostat in the rooms for the AC so that was a plus and housekeeping always did a good job at cleaning even though I kept the room tidy myself. Extended Stay was provided when I really needed it the most.

Traveled with my fur baby back to Miami for the week and really enjoyed this stay! I am not one to write many reviews but this one was one of them :) ||From check-in to check-out, my experience was great! The staff were incredibly welcoming and created a warm, friendly atmosphere, it’s clear they truly care about their guests. Our room was spotless, the service was top-notch, and we genuinely appreciated the hospitality. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and inviting stay, I highly recommend this hotel||Thank you all for your hospitality

Google
My experience was great. The location is fantastic and the rooms are nice. The only thing that was disappointing was the customer service from Denny. He was extremely rude and harsh with us, and I also witnessed him being very rude to his coworker. The rest of the staff were very helpful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about Andres at Extended Stay Hotel in coral gables! From the moment we arrived, his exceptional customer service made all the difference. Andres was extremely polite, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. He even took the time to show us around the property, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s people like Andres who truly make a stay memorable. His warm welcome, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel completely at ease. Thank you, Andres, for your outstanding hospitality—you are a true asset to the hotel!

Yelp
Avoid!!!! Worst hotel ever! We spent 2 nights there after a long road trip. First night: toilet blocked, air conditioning system sounds like someone mowing the lawn all night long, fridge howling like a wolf and someone very noisy running on the floor and flushing his toilet upstairs. My friend had to do handy man to fix everything. We asked to change room and they asked to pay additional to get a new room. Second day: bathroom tub was blocked. As well,we asked to change the bed sheet. They told us they are out of staff. Now we had to take new sheets to put on the bed ourselves. First sheet came with blood stains and other stains from incognito source. Had to go downstairs again to pick up new sheets. No one wear masks during the COVID-19! Don't get fooled by the free breakfast- coffee yes, no milk , oranges and some biscuits. As well this is not a safe place as their safety certification for their lift shows expiration date 2016( we are in 2022). I took the stairs just in case . Horrible service!!!

Yelp
We decided to stay the night before our cruise. I booked a room with 2 queen beds for my 2 kids, my wife and myself a couple of months in advance to assure a room. After a 3 1/2 hour drive we arrived tired and surprised at check in Nora the front desk agent gave us 1 room with 1 king bed. Nora then said that was what I had booked and showed me her screen. I showed her my confirmation email with 2 queen beds. Nora then blamed reservation for the screw up. Never would I book or even check rates with this chain of hotels. NOT RECOMMENDED. We had 2 other family that arrived earlier and the same issue with them. They decided to move on to another hotel which was a lot better ( Marriott courtyard) I just was to tired to move on. This was my 2nd fall out with Extended stay America.

Yelp
I am very unhappy with Extended Stay America and Priceline...I have a daughter who is 1000 miles away from me and she is virtually homeless because her lease ended with 1 apt and the other apt is not ready yet...I set up a hotel visit for her without realizing that she got something...I purchased a visit last night at 8 pm and tried to cancel it by 830 pm...I was informed that I was out of luck...that is outrageous...I can see if you were to charge me for 1 night, but you are charging me for the whole visit and she will not be there at all...I am beyond angry....to say that I am disappointed would be an understatement

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel for one night during a quick trip to Miami, mainly because of its location. The building reportedly has been remodeled but there are no amenities like a gym or pool. The rooms are pretty basic too, although they have a kitchenette, they don't provide a coffee machine in the room. The room itself was clean but it had a terrible smell, not sure exactly what it was but I think it was like the smell of food that persists after cooking. The breakfast is also pretty basic with grab & go food items like fruit, yogurt, fruit/nut bars, muffins, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs and coffee. The staff was nice and helpful though.

Yelp
The staff I have encountered have been friendly. Parking is ok- lots of shade and lighting. My room is extremely damp and smells mildewy. Have to keep AC at 61 to keep the dampness down... by my third night it was finally bearable. The entire hotel is damp. Doors slam extremely loudly.. I'm here for work and have to be up at 430am. Walls and floors are paper thin - can hear the water running from my upstairs neighbors if my AC unit isn't running. Not worth $500 for 3 nights... at all.

Yelp
Horrible and keeps getting worse!!! Check in was average. Kinda reminded me of Clark Griswold's vacation when they checked in on that camping ground. First room smelled of mildew, bathroom was old, rusty and tub was dirty. There was no way I would ever take a shower even though I travel with shower shoes. Explained to lady at the front desk. Room #2 same horrific smell, bathroom was still dirty. I asked the housekeeper in the hall to clean the bathroom and she didn't speak English (which was not a problem). Went back down to the desk to ask if someone could clean the room, that's when the lady at the front desk discovered she assigned us someone's else's room. So she had to reassign us a 3rd room. Hallway smelled of dirty dog, room condition was better and bathroom appeared to be updated. However due to my standards there was no way I was using the towels or sleeping on the bedding before ensuring they were clean. So I took all bedding off and towels to the front desk to swap for the freshly laundered linens she was cleaning. I believe she was very perturbed with me, but she went ahead and swapped them out. I also went to the nearby Walgreens to purchase room deodorizer because the room had the same mildew odor. We opened the windows thinking that would help. Didn't! Last night there must have been a dog fight. All you could hear is dogs barking, doors slamming and this morning at 6:42am I woke up to a man yelling and dog barking. The refrigerator made noise all night long, like a wolf howling. I thought maybe housekeeping was out in the hall or cleaning because it sounded like motel buckets slamming and being rolled across the floors. But wait....it's only 6:42am in the morning. There's no house keeping at this hour. I called the front desk and explained to the gentleman that answered the phone. He said I needed to speak to the manager because there was nothing he could do and she doesn't come in until 10am. I will ask to be moved again and am looking for alternatives to this hotel. It seems unsafe and quite frankly kind of scary. This is my fist and last time staying at any extended stay. My 20 something daughter reserved this stay based on the reviews on booking.com and the location to her appointment. I looked up Yelp and Travelocity and most reviews were awful. And supposedly there was a water leak in February 2022 which explains the smell. Most reviews spoke to everything I've experienced. I will definitely be sharing our experience with the office that referred us to this dump.

Yelp
The room was dusty, dirty and the floor was covered in dust dirt and old food! The room smells like death! I tried my best to contact the corporate office but they had me on hold for over an hour. I don't like to leave bad reviews but you left me no choice. Here are photos of my experience, including proof that you had me on hold for over an hour!

Yelp
I like this place for several reason as it's clean, the rooms are nice not depressing. I found my stay to be extremely quite and refreshing. The price was amazing and I ended up staying longer as I was happy. I also used the laundry room and was clean and did the job at 2 dollar a load for washing and 2 for dry not bad and was super clean area. The kitchen is scary not gonna lie! I had issues there and yea try not to cook? The stove will blow up as it did on me.

Yelp
Jasmine and Lissette made my check in amazing. I highly recommend stay here at the hotel. It's a great location with lots of stuff to do. Thank you guys again. Much appreciated.

Yelp
Super friendly staff and exactly what you would expect from an extended stay hotel. Front desk was so accommodating and the gentleman who checked me in was great. Nothing crazy fancy or out of the ordinary but a really clean room and friendly staff was all I needed. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in town over a week.

Yelp
Brags about free breakfast, but don't be fooled. It's just a stand against the wall with mediocre gas station coffee and 8g granola bars, which they feel the need to limit from 6 to 9, cause imagine the amount if money they would lose if they kept it open til 10. 5 dollars? No way! Charges 15 dollars per night for parking, and the wifi is super slow or pay for normal speed. Housekeeping doesn't come every day. The bathroom stinks like someone just pooped in it... consistently. And the refrigerator makes a weird noise that WILL creep you out at night.

Yelp
Nice, cool room, quiet corner room, dog friendly, and an ice box The Cajun and I filled with beer! We are happy, happy, happy!!

Yelp
Very nice, clean and comfortable, pet friendly hotel. Plenty of towels and pillows. The only thing missing were disposable plastic cups and ice bucket! A nice surprise was the printed laminated tv channel guide. Why is it hotel managers never think of this? The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Yelp
One of the worst in the area and certainly not worth the price. While the location near Coral Gables, free parking, lobby, and customer service are nice, the rooms are terrible! Small, cheap beds, old towels, outdated furnishings, unpleasant smell, yuck. Then they clean once a week. You can do so much better than this and pay less in Miami. Stay away, you will regret staying here.

E B.

Yelp
Horrible. Do not stay here. Room smelled like body odor and there was only one sheet on the bed which was pilled. It appears that people live here. The "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee and a handful of granola bars.

Yelp
Pending review Filthy Dump. Not your typical Extended Stay *Zero stars is appropriate rating I have stayed at other Extended Stay America locations more than once and have been very disappointed all around with this location. The issues: The entire building has an odd, unpleasant odor; the carpets appear as though they have never been cleaned; there was old food in the refrigerator indicating no cleaning between tenants/guests; the linens were wrinkled and messy leaving us unable to determine if they were even fresh upon checkin; the kitchen floor was filthy; one chair was so visibly soiled we were afraid to use it; cockroaches abound in the kitchen and bathroom; we literally cleaned (with our own supplies) for over 3 hours before unpacking. Housekeeping does not come weekly as agreed, and when they do come, "service" is quite limited-linens not changed and floor not vacuumed or mopped, no dusting is done. Of all employees, there are only 2 who seem to know the meaning of Customer Service, and asking the others (including Manager and Assistant Manager) yields little more than a bad attitude in return. We attempted to not complain further and only take care of our own room, but were not allowed to borrow the vacuum and there were not sufficient supplies to replace the bed linen, so we just laundered our dirty ones in the laundry room ourselves. Ventilation is somewhat an issue. Wifi is so slow you can rarely even load email; to stream anything or use video chatting, you must purchase the "Premium Internet" daily, on each separate device. The elevator safety certificate is posted and shows an expiration date of July 2016 - 18 months ago; and one elevator has 2 stickers from authorities regarding unpaid status for safety inspections and servicing. No pool or outside area. No business center or computer/printer for use, making any faxing or other necessary business functions difficult. The doors, though outfitted with keycard locks, are not locked at night and the desk staff rarely comes to the desk from the office area, allowing anyone to come in without question. The good points: The laundry room is good. The geographical location is near shops and grocery stores with trolleys and buses nearby. Abundant parking (for daily fee). Pet friendly. Coffee and convenience breakfast snacks provided in the lobby every morning. The furniture itself (tables, nightstands) are new and in good condition.

Yelp
book somewhere else or you will be miserable like us! Worst customer service ever Despite none refundable we decided to choose life and lose the $ on this place. Ladies at the exception are dumb. Just dumb. No english/brains. 4 times down and still wrong written wifi code. 3 times down to get a angle spoon in room. Phone broken and NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AT RECEPTION EVEN IF YOU CALL ON YOUR CELL. So regardless of if you need a wifi code or a doctor you will not get any help at this
