Extravaganza

We had a wonderful dinner at Extravaganza in Thessaloniki — an experience that stood out for all the right reasons. The cuisine is inventive without being overcomplicated, and every dish felt carefully thought out. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, the kebab, the perfectly cooked cuttlefish, and the rich yet balanced cacio e pepe. Each plate brought something unique without losing touch with its roots. Drinks were just as impressive — both the cocktail and the wine were excellent and complemented the food beautifully. The service was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which added a lot to the evening. We love to travel and dine at good tables, and this was by far one of our best dining experiences in the past two years. A big congratulations to the chefs and the entire team — you’ve created something truly special. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with a great staff. Very unique, experimental dishes that buck tradition in favor of trying new things, and they do a great job at it. The menu is always temporary, with dishing rotating in and out every once in a while, so there is always a surprise!

Cozy place perfect to have a nice relaxing dinner. Food was really nice and tasty, meat was tender and sauces were incredible. I would say the only thing is I found the portions a bit small and was still hungry afterwards but it was a tasty meal.

Came here whilst staying in Thessaloniki. It was quiet when we came but all the better as the service was top. The food was increasingly, we had the tomato salad which had pickled onions and the flavours were fantastic. For mains we had the Pork belly tacos and the pork chop with a side of the truffle fries. Too much food but everything was delicious and presented as if it were a gourmet restaurant, prices were very reasonable for the quality. All our dishes were delicious, I am glad we found this place

Great service and excellent food. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic in the sense of an artesian approach. The staff is polite and helpful with an advisory approach. There is a paid underground parking just bellow the restaurant (~3€/hour). If you want a medium cooked steak just tell them medium rare and it will be just right. Make sure you reserve beforehand since there are only a dozen tables. Worth the visit.

What a magnificent dining experience. The highest quality food and service in Thessaloniki. Portion sizes were actually very good and the price was actually really good for the quality. Ordered a salad, 2 entrees and 2 mains and it was a lot of food for 2 people. I wrongly assumed the portion sizes would be small. Definitely ordered one too many but was very happy. Thank you

A great experience in modern Greek Cuisine. The new interpreted cheese cake was amazing and a true stunner. The service was outstanding, the vibes in the place really good and every dish a well remembered experience of taste. Sure, you pay a little more than in a typical taverna, but the quality is on another level, ergo it's worth it. Bravo!
