Extravaganza

We had a wonderful dinner at Extravaganza in Thessaloniki — an experience that stood out for all the right reasons. The cuisine is inventive without being overcomplicated, and every dish felt carefully thought out. We especially enjoyed the ceviche, the kebab, the perfectly cooked cuttlefish, and the rich yet balanced cacio e pepe. Each plate brought something unique without losing touch with its roots. Drinks were just as impressive — both the cocktail and the wine were excellent and complemented the food beautifully. The service was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which added a lot to the evening. We love to travel and dine at good tables, and this was by far one of our best dining experiences in the past two years. A big congratulations to the chefs and the entire team — you’ve created something truly special. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with a great staff. Very unique, experimental dishes that buck tradition in favor of trying new things, and they do a great job at it. The menu is always temporary, with dishing rotating in and out every once in a while, so there is always a surprise!

A True Culinary Extravaganza! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Extravaganza recently, and what a delightful experience it was! I started with two appetizers — the standout was a savory cheesecake topped with beetroot jam. This dish was nothing short of phenomenal — rich, creamy, slightly tangy, and beautifully balanced with the sweetness of the beetroot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on its own! The smoked eggplant salad with roasted almonds and feta cheese was another hit — layered with flavor, texture, and just the right amount of smokiness. Every bite was satisfying and left me wanting more. As a main, I tried the grilled squid with beluga lentils in a coconut lime curry sauce. While the sauce was a touch sour for my personal taste, I can’t deny the excellence of the presentation and the perfect grilling of the squid — tender, not rubbery, and wonderfully paired with the lentils. Add to that: ✔️ Very reasonable prices ✔️ Super quick service ✔️ Artistic, high-quality presentation 💯 I would come back anytime. This place is a gem for food lovers who appreciate creativity and care on a plate. Highly recommended!

Cozy place perfect to have a nice relaxing dinner. Food was really nice and tasty, meat was tender and sauces were incredible. I would say the only thing is I found the portions a bit small and was still hungry afterwards but it was a tasty meal.

This place was absolutely amazing. I walk past this place quite a bit and always think it looks so beautiful so one night I decided to give it a try with my boyfriend. Our waiter was very kind and helpful. Everything on the menu looked wonderful it was hard to choose what to order! The drinks here are very impressive. They are the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Both of the drinks we tried were so complex and sophisticated, they were absolutely delicious. The food as well was amazing. Cooked perfectly. I love that the place is an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs at work! This is truly one of my favorite restaurants ever.

Came here whilst staying in Thessaloniki. It was quiet when we came but all the better as the service was top. The food was increasingly, we had the tomato salad which had pickled onions and the flavours were fantastic. For mains we had the Pork belly tacos and the pork chop with a side of the truffle fries. Too much food but everything was delicious and presented as if it were a gourmet restaurant, prices were very reasonable for the quality. All our dishes were delicious, I am glad we found this place
