I arrived with 30 minutes to eat before a work call at about 7 pm. Most places didn’t open their kitchen yet, but they did. When I ordered, I asked how long it would take to prepare my dish. They told me 10 minutes and sure enough, it did. They didn’t have to rush for me with everyone else in there. But they made sure I wasn’t late and could have dinner first. And they didn’t hesitate one second nor complain nor did they make me feel unwelcome. All to the contrary, they rushed without me asking any more and did it with an efficient work ethic and with gusto. Men and women of their word.
I ordered the Lomo and it came with freshly fried potatoes and roasted red bell pepper. It was delicious. I also had great house wine from Leon. I sat at the bar alone and crushed it all. God willing, I’ll be back.
