Delicious food, great service, beautiful place, staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a nice selection of food to choose from. I ordered chicken alfredo with mushrooms and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was prepared nicely and so delicious, the meals came with lightly toasted garlic bread and salad with the best dressing along the sorts of Italian dressing. Generous portions. I ordered takeout online it was ready in about 20 - 25 minutes. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone!!

Google
Good food, but absolutely TERRIBLE management and service! Do yourself a favor and just get takeout. As soon as I walked in I could tell something was off about the service. No host, so I waited to be seated because I wanted a booth. Finally just walked to the end of the bar by the kitchen and service station. Sitting by the service station was my biggest mistake. Sat down and waited another 5 mins for the bartender to ask “what do you want to drink?” No pleasantries whatsoever, not even a hello from anyone in the restaurant. While waiting for a food menu two waitresses wouldn’t stop complaining about school, finance, and jobs. Meanwhile I heard the table behind me complain to a server that nobody had helped them in 10 mins since being seated. Finally, after 10 mins, I had to ask the bartender for a food menu. Another 5-10 mins for her to take my order. 20 mins total to order food. Food came out very quickly in only 10 minutes. I got the gnocchi bolognese and a side of Italian green beans. Both pretty good, except for the “garlic” bread that was warmed sliced bread with a drizzle of oil and garlic salt. I asked for fresh parm and the response was “uh this is fresh, we fill it everyday” pointing to the parm shaker… what “Italian” place doesn’t have freshly shredded parm? This attitude from waitstaff and management just got worse and worse… non-stop complaining about tips, wanting to go home, and general drama I didn’t want to hear. It finally dawns on me that the waitstaff is miserable because of a TERRIBLE manager who was combative with an employee about taking a break… RIGHT next to me! I paid my bill and the bartender disappeared because I was last at the bar at 7:30. Walked out of the restaurant without anyone say goodbye or have a good night. 0/5 service with 3/5 food

Google
Absolutely beautiful restaurant with 2 different areas, one open area for larger groups& the bar side with cozy booth seating. Absolutely amazing food & our waitress was superb, kind, cheerful& attentive.

Google
Great local restaurant. Staff are lovely and service great. Complimentary salads and garlic bread. They make all their own sauces, dressings, seasonings from scratch! Amazing cocktails (checkout seasonal specials!). Nicely decorated and ambience. Good selection of tasty meals and generous portions.

Google
I got a personal pizza and Sangria. It was the best pizza I've had in years. They used good quality ingredients. The staff was friendly . The place was clean and quiet. We were able to have a conversation and hear each other. I would highly recommend this place .

We enjoyed our meal at Ezio’s restaurant last evening. The food was delicious and served hot. Our server Tabitha was excellent. She knows how to serve customers the right way. She was great when we asked questions regarding ingredients due to a food allergy. Her service was the best that I have had in quite a while. Great Italian family restaurant! This is a hidden gem. We will be coming back even from the Akron, Ohio area.

Google
Wonderful! Clean and accommodating! We had a very large family dinner after my grandmother's funeral. The server handled all of us wonderfully! It was an exceptionally large party with bills split every which way! She did a phenomenal job. She was polite, attentive, and kept the delicious bread and drinks filled. The food was absolutely amazing. My kids haven't stopped talking about the Francobollo! My son and I both got it and my daughter tried some as well, and wants to drive the hour plus back some day to get it next time, though she thoroughly enjoyed her alfredo, as well. It was a wonderful experience all around, but the server deserves extra credit for all of the hard work she put in with our extra large crew! And the kitchen for making it all happen and getting that many dishes out at once!

Yelp
Best Italian food in Salem and surrounding area. I have had many dishes from here. My favorites are their spaghetti bolognese, spicy chicken penne and the gnocchi. My husband orders the Classico calzone almost everytime.

Yelp
Since I can't go 4.5 I'm giving this little gem a 5. Met a friend for lunch he and my wife both had the Italian trio combo, my wife said the sauce was great and the Italian greens were outstanding. I tried a bolognese dish, Frankie's special...? It was very good, first time I've had a sausage based bolognese so it was different but very tasty. The atmosphere is definitely Italian but not over done. A little Dean Martin music in the background was great. Service was efficient and not rushed. Food was served nice and hot and their bread is outstanding. We will be back for dinner next time we're in Salem, if you haven't tried Ezios give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
My food was great. The service was great and I will continue to eat there. Love the hospitality there.

Yelp
Have been coming here for about 4 years and enjoyed the food and service and atmosphere over all. Unfortunately we were surprised and disappointed during our last visit when my sister and I decided to split the 14oz ribeye that I had enjoyed often on our past visits. It arrived as a flattened extremely thin piece of unrecognizable meat that could not have been any more than 6oz. It was hilarious at first and the waitress agreed and apologized. Not wanting to spoil our evening I figured the management would compensate the obvious error from the kitchen however the $30 charged remained on the tab so we paid it but will think twice before returning in the near future.

Yelp
The food here is always excellent! Service is outstanding. I drive 90 minutes just to eat here. My go-to is the spaghetti and meatballs, but the lasagna is great too. Enjoy the Sinatra music while you dine. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by... you won't regret it!

Yelp
The food was so good it was so tasty it was so frecing good I love I wish that I eat another medal

Yelp
This is the only place in Salem where the pizza tastes properly. Also, I loved the lasagna. Service is at a hight-level, prices are reasonable

Yelp
We made reservations at 5:00. We asked the waiter after 20 minutes if we could please order our food. At 6:40, we asked how much longer for our food. We were told they had one more large table to feed and then the would start on our order. We won't ever be back. The waiter would disappear in 25 minutes increments Poor service and poorly understaffed in the kitchen.

Anne T.

Yelp
I would so Love to say the food is Delicious but unfortunately it is not ! I've tried numerous dishes the last 2 yrs, disabled & order take out. Nothing is Delicious!! Even the PIZZA was HORRIBLE !! Sorry to say, but I will never be back.

Taylor H.

Yelp
I spent 84$ on to go food and what a complete disappointment. Food is cold, missing items, they called me to tell me about a missing item and I drove back and you think they would give you compensation but no. Acting like it's Ok. Food is cold every time I've tried to get to go. Do not recommend

Yelp
Went here w/the entire family this weekend, and we we're very happy w/our experience. A lot of us had the Chicken Parm & they were happy w/their orders. I had the Veal Parm & it was very good! Cannoli's were a disappointment though. While they were good, these were not the best I've ever had. I'll leave it at that. The service was superior! Our waiter was friendly, attentive, & was able to suggest items from the menu. The wait(s) on times were somewhat long, but we did have a split bills & large ones at that. Nothing too much, though. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the spent amount was not outrageous. Ambience was decent, cleanliness was good, too. It was a nice Italian restaurant. From the other reviews, it sounds like it might be either great or hate. We might go back in the future!

Joe J.

Yelp
Pretty good food for the price. Used to be a little better food but still not bad at all. Usually pretty speedy on gettin your food to ya.

Yelp
Amazing place - excellent, fresh food. Our server was fantastic and made great recommendations. We had the deep fried lasagna that was covered in a vodka sauce and I had the chicken Marsala over gnocchi. We had the bananas foster for dessert. Also had a glass of Pinot Grigio which was nice and light. The gnocchi was done perfectly and the chicken was a nice portion and well done. The bread was also really really good! We enjoyed the salads with the house and ranch dressings as well. The buffalo shrimp appetizer was a nice light bite that we ate with ranch. All in all - great experience and will definitely be back again! The deep fried lasagna was a show stopper but was a special so not permanently on the menu. I would still go back for the bread and gnocchi alone though! Amazing. Such a great night.

Yelp
Ezio's is always a great meal! Their homemade garlic bread and Italian dressing are to die for. They have a great variety of outstanding meals, but mine is by far The Kenny Special. It's a francobollo with a side of diavlo sauce for a little extra kick. The restaurant itself is a classic Italian restaurant. Everything moves a little slower so it my not be the best place if you are in a hurry. I should also mention they do fabulous "family tins" which are well priced and perfect for office events.

Yelp
Good for and service. Beautiful inside. Food tastes good but just overpriced. Def recommend a visit

Yelp
I loved coming here when I lived in Salem. I enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking to the bartender with my husband. Great drinks and great food.

Charles T.

Yelp
I little slow due to labor shortages but worth the wait all was delicious. This place has it all for a romantic dinner.

Dave R.

Yelp
Sauce was bitter. Greens were tough service was good ambience was good. Overall disappointing.

Yelp
Yummy spot in a small town! We had a large group and they were able to accommodate us. Friendly staff! All of our food came out at the same time. Large portions! Cheap drinks! I would go back for more gnocchi and meatballs!

Yelp
THE GARLIC BREAD. Dude. Really simple yet buttery and melt in your mouth awesome! It's brought to your table so you don't have to order. I ordered the chicken Parm sandwich lunch special. It was moist, juicy, just the right amount of Parm, garlic and still had a crisp light breading ! The staff is super friendly... I'll be back!

Yelp
My family made 7pm reservations for tonight. We waited a half hour to have our drink order taken. ( it was not written down just memorized) When we came in there was a group finishing up dinner. The group that came in after them got their drinks and salads before we got our drink order. The server finally came and the drinks were wrong. After 45 minutes we were leaving. My brother went to the bar to pay for the drinks so we could leave. The server said I'll pay for them it's not a problem. My brother said it's ridiculous and she said I know. The food used to be good but the service is terrible. We left and went to De Rienzo's that I would recommend and had a delicious dinner just down the road with wonderful service.

Yelp
Best Gnocchi's around. Everything is made in house and authintic. A must try is Tinia's salad and homemade dressing. EVERYTHING is so yummy and hugh servings. Probably should make reservations because they do get so busy.

Yelp
Delicious Italian food in an old world atmosphere. You can never go wrong with the Chicken Parm and house salad.

Yelp
Myself and my husband, ate at Ezios this evening. I hadn't been there in years. The food was exceptional, the service was good, however, be prepared to wait. They seem to be understaffed. All in all I would give them an A and we will definitely be back.

Jay F.

Yelp
Very nice, modern Italian eatery. Excellent chicken marsala, very good stuffed peppers, bread and canolli. The iced (green) tea was unexpected! Worth the effort and will return.

Yelp
I found a little piece of heaven in this place. I had heard of an Italian restaurant in Salem that was supposed to be so good but had never been there. When my husband got our 2nd COVID Vax we went to Home Depot in Salem for a few items. When we were done we went to a great garage sale and asked for a suggestion for lunch and they strongly suggested Ezio's. WOW I am so glad he did. Their food is outstanding. Home made pasta, delicious warm bread. I am getting hungry just talked no about it. My go to Italian dish is Eggplant Parm. Some restaurants try to make it homemade only to have rubbery and sometimes bitter eggplant while some obviously serve from frozen. It is obviously home made. Words can't describe how delicious it is, as well as, the homemade side of pasta. The bread is wonderful crusty on the outside and tender on the inside and comes out nice and warm. The service was impeccable and you feel like you are in someone's home. The restaurant is decorated so nicely and the Sinatra music sets the tone. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I even insisted going back here for Mother's Day and everything was just as wonderful. I highly suggest that you try this place. You won't be sorry!Egg Plant Parm

Yelp
We have been to Ezio's a few times. It is one of my daughters favorite places to eat. Today is her 21st birthday. She wanted to go to Ezio's for her birthday dinner. The food was amazing! The service was phenomenal. And she got a free dessert since it was her birthday! Which their tiramisu is so good. Their prices may be a little bit higher than some of the area restaurants, but it is worth it. A clean, comfortable and beautiful restaurant to eat in. Combine that with the service and food, it's definitely a to recommending.

Danielle K.

Yelp
Headed from Canton to Alliance to find the restaurant we anticipated dining at was closed, decided to drive a few more miles east and ended up at Ezio's. Arriving at 6pm on a Saturday night we anticipated a wait for a table, we were correct. Once we were seated, the good food just kept coming, peppers in oil, and mozzarella square were delicious appetizers, my main course of Chicken Marsala was some of the best I have ever had. Finished the meal with a Tiramisu. Delicious, my fellow diners got the banana's Foster for dessert, best for more than one! It is huge! I highly recommend and we will be making the trip back.

Yelp
Chicken Parm and the Steak was excellent! very kind staff. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend

Gregory M.

Yelp
Ezios was a welcome surprise! The restaurant was a warm welcoming older building that has been kept in good condition. The menu was extensive in all things Italian. We got baked angel hair with mozzarella on top. It was hot and a large portion. The meatball was very garlicky the way I like and their hot garlic bread was wonderful. They had a nice selection of wine and drinks. All around a great meal.

Yelp
My lunch was awesome good atmosphere, beer was cold, price was matched with the quality of the food. I would eat there again.

Kara W.

Yelp
The food was okay; but the service was terrible. I got baked ziti, which was not ziti, but penne and not baked. Our dishes stated on the menu they came with garlic bread, in which we never received after asking. Took over 20 minutes for someone to get our drinks and order; our food came with salads; and it took over 40 minutes for us to receive our salad, then less than 5 minutes later, our food was out. Not impressed.

Allen C.

Yelp
Let's just say I've had better. Cannoli had way to much chocolate syrup in it. was a bit pricey. The lasagna was not what I was expecting. I will give them a second chance.

Che Ste P.

Yelp
May 2022. First time there and had a lovely late lunch. The Mozarella Block appetizer was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Served in a dish of delicious, homemade sauce. Our salads were fresh, crisp Romaine lettuce with a killer-good homemade balsamic Italian dressing. Pasta was wonderful and the sauce is so good it should be a beverage. Bread was artisanal; crisp on the outside with a chewy web inside. Our server, Sarah, welcomed us and helped us navigate the large menu. She was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Portions are large and she carefully boxed our leftovers to take home. This meal was a really great experience!
google avatar

Ernest T.

Yelp
Most restaurant disappoint me. Lack of service, substandard food, dirty, etc etc etc. In a good way, thankfully, Ezio's broke the trend. The service was above average. The appetizer was different! A maple waffle topped with ham then a fried egg and finally cheese. Yummy!! Next was the salad. I have to say, it was kind of small. Just some Romain hearts cut up, 2 slices of a Roma tomato and the house vinnegrett. But it was good. Now the entree's. My wife had the cheese ravioli with a marinara cheese sauce which she loved. I had the Linguini and Clam sauce but with a twist. It was a light red sauce with just the right amount of SPICE to heat it up yet not enough to overwhelm the meal. Our server, "Momma" called it "Diablo" sauce.. Fabuloso Last time I was here was a little over 27 years ago. I first laid eyes on my wife here and it took us 27 years to make it back and we will be back again!

T L.

Yelp
Went here with a party of 3 no one came to the table for 15 minutes had to ask for a server Our server was the owner she's 77 when she came she asked for our drinks and we said we would like to go ahead and order She rolled her eyes and said I have 3 tables but go ahead , I asked for water she brought me a pitcher with no glass, she never said your welcome once when we repeatedly said thank you After the meal I paid and should get change back 15 minutes later I had to go to the bar and ask them for it. I will never go back at a certain point you have to be true to yourself and say I'm too old and forgetful to do my job
google avatar

Travis E.

Yelp
Stopped here because we were passing through and it was the only rated place that was on the way. The hostess gave the people in front of us attitude for wanting a booth, drinks sat empty for 5 minutes in an empty restaurant, entrees came out cold to the touch.
google avatar

Greta V.

Yelp
This was another one of our local Ohio vacation spots. My mother has been eating here for some time and she loves the food! Service was good and know that they will change something to fit persons needs. We ordered the gnocchi with peas and bacon(which who can say no), the aligo with fettuccini, portobello and artichoke as well as the spaghetti & meatballs. Overall I must say they did a excellent job. The pasta is clearly made fresh and the ingredients seemed to be fresh. My only harp would be the sodium level, While salt can enhance flavor, to much can take away from the flavor of what's in front of you. Again, it was enough salt to make me drink a ton of water! Overall i enjoyed this place and it is obvious that the people who own it care!

Yelp
My husband and I came here by mistake. What a wonderful mistake to make! We originally drove down to Salem to try DeRienzo's but mistook the Ezio's sign for it. We had already parked and a couple on the way in highly recommended it so we decided to go for it. We are very glad we did. We started with the bruschetta which came in pizza form. Very light and delicious. The crust was wonderful. My husband ordered the lasagna which he really enjoyed. Good flavor in the sauce and a creaminess in every bite. I had the pasta primavera with spinach, mushrooms and artichoke hearts. It was very tasty! We finished up with the Bananas Foster which was fantastic! A great finish to a great meal. Our server was the manager, Tabitha. She was friendly and enthusiastic. You could tell she really cares about the restaurant. She would come by and ask how we liked the bruschetta or the bananas foster. We would tell her we loved it and she would grin and say "I know". It was like having Han Solo as our server! Outstanding meal and service. We will be coming here again.

Yelp
This is my favorite Italian restaurant I've ever ate at. It's very elegant and so the staff is amazing and friendly. I would recommend to anyone looking for great food and an amazing experience

Ryoko T.

Yelp
We went group of 6 and was told 5 mins. It took more than 10 mins. Every thing took too long. For appetizer we ordered carpaccio once then were told it was out after too long. We wished they told us that a lot earlier. My daughter needed ketchup and barbecue sauce for her dish. We asked and waited waited waited....... I walked to the waiter again to make sure it's coming before she finishes her food.
google avatar

Erica M.

Yelp
I wish I could give this a good review. I've been eating here since I was in high school and I'm sad to say that it's just not what it used to be. The owners are SO incredibly sweet, but they hire servers who do know not how to serve, or be friendly. The food has really gone down hill, also. Portions are smaller, food is only sub par. We've even taken the owners suggestions on what to order, and it's just been 'bleh'. The décor is cute, and the restaurant is always clean, so I guess that's good.
google avatar

Jon H.

Yelp
Best food in at least a 1 hour radius!! Service was great. Atmosphere amazing!! Really a beautiful place!

Yelp
Well one of my favorite Italian Restaurants which I always in the past looked forward too has officially gone down hill. I urge you to look elsewhere or don't have high expectations. In the past it was seriously a great small town classic Italian restaurant. I sadly write this review after a third lousy meal in 12 month span and this was the worst of all. I can forgive a bad night or so but this many occurrences over a long course of time lead me to this review. I ordered a mushroom risotto with sea scallops. My wife had the risotto in the past and enjoyed it. She also ordered tilapia on wild mushroom risotto on this visit. On this visit the risotto was ice cold as well as the rice was crunchy on both dishes. Hers came out with over cooked chicken yup not tilapia as ordered and mine were cold scallops. The waiter was apologetic and took the dishes to be redone. In about 1.5 minutes later he came back with two plates containing our same risottos clearly just microwaved. No we had very over cooked chicken and chew scallops with warm crunchy rice. I asked him to have a new risotto cooked as this was horrible. Our sons Burger and fries were also cold and my mother in laws ravioli was cold as well. He brought out a new risotto about 15 minutes later when everyone else was done in our party of 10. The scallops were good however the risotto was so salty I couldn't eat it. Had my wife taste it and she thought the same. Leads me to believe there is no more quality control in the kitchen anymore now that the owners are not at the helm. I will not be requesting to return here in the future when we are in town. Hopefully the owners can turn it around and gain our business again.
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
I am incredibly bummed out about this place. It used to be awesome. Then they remodeled. For $14.99 I got the smallest steak I have ever seen. The owner's suggestion was that I should order a different steak. I won't be back. Check out the steak pic.

Yelp
I am not giving four stars because there are not many choices in Salem, OH. This is really a well maintained quiet bar and restaurant. Was there on Friday last week. This was the second visit. Ordered the Chicken and Spinach calzone. Delicious. Will be back to try other fares! Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Paula P.

Yelp
We stopped at Ezio's on our way to a basketball game at the local high school. We hit the jackpot! The service was great and the food was exceptional! I ordered a calzone. The pastry was thin and crispy and the filling of sausage, pepperoni, peppers and sauce was so delicious. The others ordered seafood entrees and they too raved about them. Please give this great restaurant a try!! We will be going back !
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years! Wouldn't do that if the food wasn't fabulous! My absolute favorites are eggplant rollatini or chicken Marsala. Good service too!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
The best italian restaurant in salem! Their pizza is awesome! I recommend them highly
