The waitress is so helpful and nice. I ordered the Chilli, meatloaf and chicken fingers for my dog. The chicken fingers were good because my pup loved it. The fries had seasoning on it. The meatloaf was good but the other part was hard and dry. The Chilli was pretty thick and tasty. Baked beans was good, and string beans was spicy. Overall, the meal was good but not sure if I will come back.

I enjoyed my chicken. Hubby's ribs didn't have much flavor. Potato salad was different, but okay. Mac n cheese was good. Hillbilly wontons were delicious. Staff not very attentive.

We enjoyed drinks and dinner on FABD’s awesome patio. Excellent service, strong drinks and delicious BBQ! Bar prices are reasonable and servers are super friendly. Highly recommend for a fun night out.

Great outside dining, covered from sun. Great, friendly service. We had the cheeseburger, fries, pulled pork sandwich, green beans, potato salad, half rack ribs, mac n cheese. Everything was sooo good. We also had the pretzels and beer cheese and that was super tasty. Pepsi products but they have brewed tea, sweet and unsweetened.

HORRIBLE! How did you guys get almost five stars? It must be inside reviews. Pulled chicken was tough and bland, Mac and cheese was Mac and sh&@t! Husband ribs was very bland totally no seasoning with his food or my food. We totally wasted our money. Horrible!!!!!

Best bbq on our trip to Louisville! We had the Buffalo Wontons and Beer Cheese with pretzel bites appetizer. I had the smoked salmon (picture) and my husband had the ribs and brisket. Great flavor and just the right amount of smoke. Drinks were generous too!

$24 for this jerky. I was told they smoke their ribs. I’ve had smoked ribs before. This is burnt jerky. Their solution $10 gift card. No thanks

Great service and great food! We had the pulled pork sandwiches, which were amazing with their home-made hot bbq sauce. We also enjoyed the green beans (almost had a little spiciness to them) and their potato salad was delicious. Will definitely be back when we’re in town!

FABD sets itself up to fail. With two smokers filling the air, your senses are already expecting outstanding smoked food before you set foot inside. And, for the most part it delivers. We had a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. The beer came quickly. Fresh, cold. Straight from the tap. An order of spicy fried pickles was served up piping hot. Surprisingly, not greasy. The Pulled pork sandwich was packed. My brisket sandwich was moist. But both lacked any serious "smoke". A side of coleslaw was the perfect companion to the meats. My wife ordered boneless wings. A large order of "nuggets", breaded, but way too salty. Regular wings were a better choice and they went over well. There were 3 soups on the menu, but only the bean soup was available. Two orders disappeared. The kids shared a 1/2 order of ribs, Mac and cheese & fries. The ribs were excellent, decent fries and horrible Mac and Cheese. FABD serves decent bbq, which would be better if they didn't skimp on the smoke. And maybe they should sample their Mac n cheese and find a way to make it edible. When two kids both pass on it, you know something's not right.

Doordash. Ordered salmon, with coleslaw and apples. Absolutely divine. Slaw slightly sweet. Not swimming in dressing. Excellent portion. Apples, still with just a bit of crunch. Subtly sweet. Fabulous. Again, Excellent portion. Salmon. Phenomenal. Nice portion. Not a fan of skin, but easily peeled off. Smoke flavor mixed beautifully with salmon. This meal is a wonderful balance of healthy and decadent. Very unexpected meal from a beautifully diverse place in Crescent Hill. Chefs kiss.

I went to Louisville to visit family and wanted BBQ. THERE are ALOT of options in Louisville and my son recommended this place. I must say it is not much to look at, but we decided to eat there. My daughter ordered buffalo chicken wontons and I sampled one or two and they were good. I wish I put cream cheese in the filling to give it a better mouth fill. We shared a sampler platter with double brisket and chicken. I think they gave a lean and fatty brisket. Both were good. My daughter had salmon and she seemed to enjoy it. Overall, all experience. This is definitely a place where you should not judge a book by its cover.

I randomly get the urge to go here, you know, to FABD. Why...beer and bbq of course! My favorite thing on the menu is probably the fried green beans. Whatever sauce that accompanies them just makes them damn good. I got the pulled pork sandwhich, and my wife the bork belly sliders. All eaten without complaint. The side of onion rings I got was also quite tasty. We ordered a bowl of chili, and chicken tenders for the kids and those were also mostly eaten. Service can be kind of slow, but in all honesty, who cares? As long as they get to you they eventually bring your beer and the food comes out rather quickly. Nothing fancy about this place minus the mini golf out back. Yeah, you read thar right...there's free mini golf! Just makes a unique touch to kind of a divey place.

The service here is absolute dog sh*t. We have given them 3 chances, and this last time we just walked out. It's "seat yourself" and every time we do so, we have waited 10-20 minutes for a server to take bring us menus or acknowledge our existence (despite making eye contact several times). The food is mid tier, so it's just really not worth it. The beer is REALLY cold. That is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. On a hot day, that's all I want... if only I could get someone to take my order!!!

Service was great! The place was clean with great seating. The food just was not hitting. The brisket wasn't cooked long enough so it was very tough and fat wasn't cooked. It also left a weird greasy feeling in my mouth. I didn't eat but two bites of it. The green beans were good but heavy on what tasted like vinegar. The chicken looked very plain. The onion rings were good tho!

Such a fun outdoor patio atmosphere! The food was delicious and the wait staff was super friendly even with the busy crowd. Will definitely be going back this summer!

Was in town for the derby this past weekend and went to Patrick's bar next door for a few late nights and heard from all the locals about this place. Everything was delicious and our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. I recommend splitting the sampler so you can enjoy the Mac and cheese and extras. All the meat was very good, you have to like smoked meats, but if you don't the sauces definitely help as they are tasty. It was a slower day on Sunday but our service was very good! Check it out next time you're in town.

Service was fantastic... And usually is as this wasn't my first visit, but I am definitely not a regular. The ambience is good in the sense that it's what you expect an excellent barbecue joint to be. The brisket sandwich was delicious in flavor and the texture of the meat was outstanding, the bun was a perfect compliment and their barbecue sauce consistently good as far as recollection serves me... The hillbilly wontons were a little disappointing, but not because of the flavor, but because of the steam causing the wonton to be less crunchy than I would have hoped, however, being a foodie... The realization hits that it would be very hard to make a wonton with that much going on inside of it not steam from the inside... So we will base the flavor as being what is rated and it was delicious, but I will likely not order again because of the technical difficulty in steaming a brisket stuffed wonton. I would say keep up the good work, but being a staple in the community...I am certain it goes without saying!

So my wife and I went at 6:30 on a Saturday. We sat at the bar, due to all tables being occupied and we lack patience. It is a very wide bar which is bigger than most tables, so plenty of space & privacy. She ordered the brisket sandwich & potato salad, I ordered a special -the taco trio. The food was fantastic at a very reasonable price. The above with two cocktails was $45 after tip. We will definitely be going back.

Great wings and margaritas. Will be back regularly and that's for sure. Quick service, hot food and nice customer service.

First visit to FABD. The staff/service was awesome, but the food was pretty bland, which is weird because it smells so flavorful outside. My idea of BBQ might be different, but I think that sauce is like ketchup; you only really need it if the primary meat isn't seasoned enough. The brisket seemed well-cooked, with a nice bark, but it just didn't taste like anything. Pulled pork was fairly devoid of flavor as well. The sausage was fine, but drowning in sauce, so it's not really my thing. The BBQ sauce itself was fine but a little sweet. I wish I didn't need to use so much of it to get flavor. To be fair, I am comparing this in my head to Texas-style brisket, hot links, and pulled pork, so maybe it's just different here. I did not try any of the sides. I'm looking forward to trying other BBQ places in Louisville, though. Everything else I've had in town has been great.

Didn't expect much and was not disappointed, well, other than ordering mild wings and getting something that definitely not mild and a waitress who was mia for most of our time there. Good news is the burger was ok. Not sure I'll be heading back but others have said their food was good and there are enough TVs for good sports watching. Prices are reasonable and there are tables outside for those watm evenings.

Frankfort avenue beer depot is a bbq and bar like establishment located on popular Frankfort ave in Lousiville Kentucky. After being on me and a good buddy of mine to do list for a long time we finally made the trip here last week. The fact that they had a mini putt putt course on there patio was one thing that stuck out to us. That and we love bbq. So seemed like a natural fit. We both arrive around 5pm on a Monday and it isn't very crowded besides a few people at the bar. We kinda wander around and wasn't greeted and finally realized we will need to seat ourself. It was uncommonly warm for late December (almost 70 degrees) so we actually dined outside on the patio by the small little putt putt course. I'll start with maybe the biggest disappointment. Our server was horrendous. We had to track her down serveral times. She was obviously under the influence of something "recreational" as she was lit up brighter then my Christmas tree last week and reeked throughout the whole patio when around. Which is fine. Do you and enjoy your life. But don't let it affect your job and my service. So we go outside and track her down. I get a water and my buddy gets a pitcher of miller light. It takes about 10 minutes until we get the pitcher and water. The waitress drops off and tries to leave and we are like "we are ready to order". Which was unsuccessful as she said "ok I'll be right back I have to grab something real quick ". Around 5 min later she returned outside with no note pad, drinks or carrier tray. We wave her down a 3rd time and this time she takes our order. I placed an app order of spicy cheese balls and a pulled pork sandwich. My buddy decided to get a Philly cheese steak. While we waited we do decided to play the little 4-5 hole putt putt. They have a small locker outside with clubs and had a ball out on one of the greens . The courses while a cool idea are pretty simple and not maintained. Every single one of them had concrete craters in them that could work as a second hole for the green. I kept joking and calling them sand pits. Where our waitress lacked in service and speed in getting our order the kitchen made up for in an insanely quick turnaround on getting our food. I think we maybe played 3 of the 5 little putt putt holes and our entire order was out. App and all came together. I will start off and say the spicy cheese balls were phenomenal. My buddy loved them as well. Not really spicy but still very good with a good cheese flavor and a nice crunch on the breading. My pulled pork sandwich was just ok. It wasn't bad but it was nothing that stood out. Meat was bland without the bbq sauce. The sauce had a nice savory flavor to it though. My buddy absolutely hated his Philly cheese steak. Said it was one of the worst ones he has had if not the worse. I did try a nibble of the meat and it was not good. Very dry and tasteless. Overall we both were extremely disappointed. Our server was horrendous. It was obvious she was preoccupied with other "things" instead of serving our table. The main entrees were either underwhelming or bad. The putt putt course is a cool idea. Be nice if it was upkept and taken care of. The appetizer and speed that our food was prepared were amazing. Which is honestly the only saving grace that kept Thai from being a 1 star review.

Super casual with lots of outdoor seating. Clearly lots of regulars. Food isn't overly complicated, yet not all run of the mill BBQ/Bar food. They have Burgoo which is a KY specialty to try for sure. Pork Belly Sliders were great and the coleslaw was perfectly prepared. Their smoked wings are really big and have several great flavors to try.

Me and my best friend have became regulars with FABD. I tried it via doordash one day - and it was definitely the best seasoned and juicy pulled pork I've had in Louisville thus far. Their seasoned fries are really good and their Mac and cheese is creamy and tasty too. I've ordered this same meal on several different occasions and have yet to be disappointed. My friend gets the brisket everytime too. It's become a frequent crave. Their homemade sauce is good too. When we walked in, my friend was like "you took me to a bar?!" LOL. It has a section on the side with the bar where people sit and drink and watch sports, etc. There is a family style side too and outdoor seating. I won't doubt I'll be back! I recommend it to people seeking good barbecue.

This place is off the beaten path, but it is delicious. Definitely worth the trip. I had the BBQ and it was so great. Very inexpensive. I recommend going.

Tried the dressed cheeseburger, baked beans, and cole slaw together. An absolute home run to eat as a meal. Quantity is perfect. Taste and medium well on the burger was right on the money. Cooked well and not a "hockey puck". I highly recommend it to make it your choice too at your first opportunity. The tomato, onion, and lettuce complement the cheeseburger nicely. The slaw is house made I believe. The baked beans are seasoned right.

I have had about everything on the menu at this Frankfort Avenue institution. My golf league convenes here on the outdoor patio on Wednesday evenings from late April until the end of September. It's a relaxed, friendly vibe although it can be really slow on a crowded evening. There is even a small putt putt golf course in the back for the kids, though we've seen loaded adults try their luck on occasion. Sassy Olivia usually takes good care of our group, and the omnipresent Diesel is always helpful and friendly. My go-tos are the chicken tender basket with extra crispy fries, the honey chipotle smoked wings, and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I usually steer away from most of the BBQ because I think it tends to be better elsewhere although some people really like FABD for that with their big smokers out front. I'd suggest not having the pulled white meat chicken sandwich in particular--it tends to be really dry on the occasions I've had it. But the brisket is pretty good. Oh yeah, we always get the spicy cheese balls before dinner and if you want some yummy, fried heart-attack balls accompanied by an interesting horseradish sauce, our group would unanimously recommend that. Oh yeah..... forgot the beer. Generally several pitchers of ice cold Shiner Bock. Can't beat that on a nice summer or fall evening watching the trains roll by across Frankfort Avenue.

This place always looks busy so we were excited to try it. It's definitely no frills, seems very aged and the interior is very dark. Personally I prefer a place with more brightness and better cleanliness but nonetheless was still excited to eat. I ordered the burger and was expecting a thick juicy grind-house burger. The menu says it's 1/3 lbs patty but I received an extremely thin patty that was well done and tasted like it was previously frozen. The burger was terrible, no seasoning at all, super thin, and well overcooked. I'm not sure where the 1/3lb burger was that the menu described but it wasn't on the plate, that's for sure. I'd like to go back and try something else in the hopes of giving this place another chance.

We sat on the first part of the patio which is dog friendly. Typical draft beer list. Our sandwiches were ok, I had the fish and it was pretty messy. The fried pickles and peppers were as expected.

My buddy and I stopped in here for an evening of drinks and eatery. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich. And I must say it was not quite a cool good at all. We also got some cheese curd thing and those were good that's why I'm gonna give his place at two instead of one because the service was not good unfortunately and my cheesesteak sandwich was terrible I must say I will give it a one I'll get the cheese curds of three overall I'll give this place a two

First of all, I can't believe I've never reviewed FAB. We've dined at FAB for many years. Although I haven't eaten here in quit a while. I don't rate many meals 5 stars. However, today's lunch was outstanding. I asked the server if the brisket was fresh. She assured me it was. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of baked beans. The sandwich was a BBQ Lovers heaven. The brisket was moist, tender and smokey. The sandwich was piled high with a generous portion of brisket. Additionally, I love their Hot BBQ Sauce. I haven't had brisket this good since before I retired and was travelling to South Texas frequently. So much of the brisket around this area is either dry and tough or has no discernible smokey flavor. The baked beans were OK, but I added a couple dashes of hot BBQ sauce and small chunks of brisket, that made them outstanding! FAB also keeps a nice selection of beer, both draft and can/bottle. I had a draft Ayinger German Pilsner that cost $5 a pint. My server was very personable and provided great service. Sorry I didn't get her name. Can't wait to return!

The food is always top notch every time I come here. Everyone was friendly that I talked to, and they took care of packaging my order as quickly as possible. There's no better place for BBQ in the city.

Really nice patio and a good beer selection. I would maybe come back for that. I'm not sure what their specialty is but it's not ribs. These were way over cooked and dried out. They come to you wrapped in foil. I think they were smoked at some earlier time and then wrapped in foil and thrown into an oven or back on the smoker to reheat. The fat is completely rendered leaving them dry. The onion straws were pretty good. They were fried in clean oil and were seasoned well. It really is a shame about the ribs. They had a good rub on them. Service was great too.

I love the food here. The dry rubbed ribs and brisket are delicious as I'd the sauce. The atmosphere itself is very spartan and divey, so we usually do takeout. We've had a few instances of takeout order items being left out of the bag, which is a let down. Nonetheless, definitely some solid bbq and good eats.

Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot was yet another place near me that I've had my eye on, and was curious to try. It's not really the best, but it's okay. Like others have said, it seems to be a place that attracts regulars, which is interesting with it being nearby so many hyped restaurants in town. I can never say no to BBQ, so I figured I would order from them just recently. I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries and macaroni. The sides were great, especially the mac n cheese. Sadly, I was not a fan of the ribs. They were huge in size and very tender, however they did not taste that good. Very dry and the sauce it came with was super watery. It seems that the reviews about their food are very mixed, so maybe I just ordered on an off night. I don't really have much interest in returning. Maybe this place is great for others, but not so much for me.

We are out of towners . I've been here 3 other times and it was very good. I had been bragging about this place and was excited to share the experience with my family and grandkids. But this last time on Saturday at 6 pm was the worst experience. A list of problems- waitress was horrible. No drink refills. Did not get our two party checks right even after a second try, had to get our own utensils and sauce, forgetfulness. When I did find her every time she was on her phone. The ribs were dry and over done. The Baked beans, Mac n Cheese, Cole slaw were good. We sat in the outer area. Family area. We asked 3 times to turn on the heaters. They only turned them on when 8 foul mouthed guys who were 4 beers deep asked. I mentioned to waitress and all she did was smile. Not family friendly. Suggest to not advertise as a restaurant but a bar/grill instead. Won't go back. will never speak kindly of this place again. HORRIBLE

I was looking for a new BBQ place. Several reviews on FB said this was the place to go. Two of us had pulled chicken, two had the pork and a grilled cheese for our smallest companion. The grilled cheese sandwich was the best option. The meat was ok. The bbq sauce had a little zing to it but was almost watery thin. I put 3 of the small containers of the sauce on my chicken and you could hardly tell. The fries are good. I love crinkle fries. The cole slaw was average. Our service was very good. We were greeted as soon as we entered and shown a table. Our waitress answered all of our questions and was quick at getting us refills on drinks and extra sauce. It is a very very laid back atmosphere. Glad I went but probably won't make it a destination in the future.

We were coming from 2 two hour tours of the Mammoth caves so we were hungry and tired - I decided on BBQ and even though I saw the reviews in regards to the servers, I wanted to try nonetheless. We were told we could seat ourselves, so we sat outside on their patio. As we sat and waited for someone, a waitress walked passed but didn't even acknowledge us or say "Your server will be right with you". It's very small but holds a lot of weight. Diesel finally came over, he had a wonderful personality. We put in an order of Pretzel bites & Cheese Beer - pretty good, just a lot! I'm not sure if Diesel had tables inside as well but sometimes it was hard to find him. We tried to stop a lady who was clearing tables, to ask a question and she literally just walked passed us. We ordered the brisket & onion rings and a half slab of ribs w/potato salad & Texas toast. The food arrived quickly and was alright but we were hungry so we ate just about everything! We did notice the same waitress from earlier take shots w/her table so it's safe to say, that if you know your server - you'll be well taken care of!

Casual outdoor patio to hang with friends. My bride and I stopped on a Thurs night and were able to be seated immediately outside on the patio. The menu seems geared more towards groups. The broader meat selection was sold by the pound and the sides sold in varying sizes to accommodate multiple or larger servings. We ended up going with the white meat chicken ($13/lb) with baked beans ($3/8 oz) and coleslaw ($3/8 oz). The quality of the chicken was very good - but seemed to be lacking in flavor. The BBQ sauce was on the runny side and was heavy on vinegar. The beans and coleslaw were fine. Beers were affordable priced (Bells Two Hearted IPA $4.25). Service was fast and prompt the entire time from Marisa.

Returning to Lou visiting former neighbors and friends on our summer road trip. Decided on BBQ for our lunch. We were not disappointed. Further, it's a fido friendly establishment. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was tender and moist. Definitely not a leftover pull. Hubby had the double burger, which was grilled perfectly. We both had coleslaw which was creamy and fresh. Service was excellent. It was a beautiful day, so we dined outside with our dog. Highly recommend. Parking is a bit of an issue, as there's no parking lot, just street parking. Most likely hard to find in busy hours.

Wish I could give this place 6 stars! Seriously! Didn't know what to expect when walking in, but once we sat down there was a great vibe to the place. Laid back and easy goin, with great beer selection on tap and lots of delicious options on the menu. Our waitress Jessica was super helpful with making a decision on food and she was spot on. Frankfort ave Philly had just enough beer cheese on top to enjoy it without being too much, the pork was DELICIOUS (highly recommend the FU sauce) and the cheese balls were wow (I'm sure it's hard to mess up fried cheese but they didn't ) Will go back and hope to bring friends. 10/10.

You can park on the street in front (Frankfort) or around the corner in the residential area. They have both outdoor seating or many tables and benches indoors and they have multiple TVs inside too. The smell from the smoker pervades the whole place, so you know you're in the right place. ==The Food== I had my order to-go, but it didn't alter anything in quality. In fact, it only took 5 mins to have my order ready and a few more mins to get home. ++The Ribs++ As I was trying to stage the food for my photo, I had a difficult time with the ribs. Why? Because they were literally falling off the bone, making them hard to grasp hahaha! That's a great sign for me. One side was more done since it was the end of the slab, but the rest of the rib meat was tender. It wasn't necessarily juicy or flavorful, but I liked the texture. Yep, I felt that it needed the boost of the BBQ sauce rather than for it to stand alone. ++The Brisket++ If you want this and not by the pound, you have to order as a sandwich minus the buns. I wouldn't recommend it because it comes chopped/shredded rather than sliced, but I had to try it to see what people were saying about it. It was pretty disappointing in both texture and flavor and I wouldn't eat it without being generous with the BBQ sauce. Perhaps the sliced brisket was better, but I don't think I'm willing to try again. ++Baked Beans++ I think they were pretty standard. No social distancing Order was wrong when I got home Food had ABSOLUTELY NO TASTE- Not even salt. - wings are not smoked!! They are fried wing drums and flats. They were dry and tough.. NOT whole smoked wings- called and made sure before I placed my order through yelp that they were WHOLE, SMOKED WINGS. Not what I got. - ribs were on the dry side- soft and the smoke was good. BUT no salt again.

Hillbilly wonton are unbelievable. They sell out fast. Pork fall off the ribs with a great flavor. Masks and social distancing. Great service on the outdoor patio. Definitely a hidden gem.

Wish I could say something positive about recent visit, but I just can't. Service was slow, and I could not help feeling we were interupting phone time for staff. I got a burnt half rack of ribs that came to table wraped in foil, and room tempreture baked beans and mac and cheese in styrofoam containers with lids. I just can't see returning anytime soon.

$7.50 pitcher special on a Sunday?! Excuse where in Louisville can beat that deal?! FABD has my absolute favorite smoked salmon dinner special. My husband loves their ribs and I have to convince him he can only physically eat a half rib serving since he is only one person. He would try to eat a full slab if I let him. You come to this establishment for great food, fast service l, and great prices. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect from the outside but with the added bonus of a putt putt course in the back. Our food from order to table was about five minutes. Our waiter was prompt and funny without being over bearing.

Casual indoor and outdoor experience with decent bbq and good service. 25+ beers on draft and TVs all over, this is definitely a good spot to catch a game. Food and drink are priced friendly to your wallet. Limited lot parking, but free parking along the neighborhood roads nearby. My party and I dabbled in some brisket and pork sandwiches and some ribs. All were very tasty. Serving size of the French fries could improve, but enough food was had to go around. Worth the trip.

In town for family thanksgiving and chose this place for some take-out game day wings. Did not disappoint. Called in and the wings were ready in 10 minutes. Don't be put off by the few choices in wing sauces; we got a variety and all were scrumptious. Unique, peppery sauces with fall off the bone meat. Nice charred flavor pairs perfectly with a cold beer. The price wasn't too shabby- 9 wings for $8, and you can split up the order into several sauces. Comes with celery and dressing. Only complaint: as far as I know, you can't order wings "in bulk" as with other wing places.

Happened upon this place on our way home from St.Joe Picnic. Two big smokers out front pumping out some delish aroma talked us right in to giving it a try. Thumbs up on service, quality and quantity of food. Space inside is a bit cramped but most people dined outside. Full bar and they had my BF'S fav beer, MGD. The full slab dinner comes with two 16oz sides. The ribs fell off the bone. The brisket sandwich was very good and tender. Nice find!

Since my first visit to Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot, I'm wondering what took me so long! Granted, I'm not a *huge* fan of barbecue, but when I had a craving, I finally decided to give FABD a try - so glad I did! For an appetizer, I've tried the Fried Pickles and Jalapeños served with Horseradish sauce, and Cheese Balls. I've ordered the Rope Sausage Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Double Burger over the course of my visits, as well as the fries, macaroni and cheese, and green bean sides. I will start by saying I have not been disappointed with anything I've gotten on The Beer Depot's menu! My recommendation: the burger (if you've got a craving for how dad used to make them on the grill), macaroni and cheese and DO NOT pass up the green beans! I really enjoy sitting on the patio, taking advantage of FABD's $6 pitchers and friendly service. We've spent hours and gone through a few pitchers without banking the bank. Their outdoor seating is comfortable, and begs to spend warm summer evenings drinking cold beers and taking advantage of their mini putt-putt course. Don't pass it up!

Good casual food! Very neat rustic atmosphere with cheap drinks. Great place to grab a bite on Frankfort ave.

Don't let the name of the business doesn't throw you, ridiculously good BBQ. Good god the Brisket was amazing. I got nothin else.

Ahhhh... NO. Just NO... Very disappointed for a 1st visit.. Not a good impression at all.. All I wanted was the most simple meal any bar-b-que place should get right with their eyes closed!! Burger and Baked Beans.. that's all.. The burger looked and tasted burnt!.. the patty looked premade in a factory.. Now come on.. Two big pits smoking outside and I get a Dry, dense, unseasoned patty. And the baked beans came straight from can to pan to table.. it literally tasted like the can beans I ate as a child.. no flavor added at all.. I was really hungry and wanted something good and new for me to try... SMH.. this wasn't a good choice.. they are obviously not know for the burgers!! As I write this review with high hopes crushed by disappointment!! The 1 star that made it 2 was for the service! That was the good thing about the visit.
