We have visited the Faber Vineyard before, but this time we went there as with a Groupon voucher for wine tasting and a spot of lunch. Monique was very welcoming and guided us through the wine tasting selection prepared for us and explained each wine characteristics in detail. The cheese board or charcuterie was delicious surprisingly filling. A nice afternoon.

What a great place to escape to for a beautiful lunch (charcuterie platter) and a great selection of wine tasting. Was lovely to see the family poodle too. Monique (our host) was incredibly attentive, friendly and certainly knew the wines. We visited on a Friday lunchtime, and used the Grouped On voucher, which was well worth the deal. The main winery room is a beautiful place, spacious, well catered for large groups as well as small groups, with a beautiful outside patio overlooking the vineyards with more table and chairs. Thank you so much, we will definitely visit again.

I have spent more money on wine at Faber Vineyard than any other winery and I can name many! The wines are very thoughtfully made and huge effort is made with all aspects of wine making and hospitality. Jane is a rare gem and John is the most sincere person that I have met, next to my father! Food and wine always fabulous. Wine tasting at various stages of the wine making process (with open discussion) is very educational!

What an amazing winery in the Swan Valley... 10/10 Awesome staff and atmosphere, delicious wine and grazing board.. Worth the drive and will definitely be back.

Just visited Faber today. We purchased a voucher through Groupon. The lovely Monique walked us through a tasting of Faber's very delectable wines. We also shared a platter which complimented the wines. John, the proprietor, came over for a quick chat, which was lovely. Beautiful layout, relaxed atmoshere. Ideal place for an intimate wedding or function. Thank you Faber, very enjoyable time spent.

Beautiful setting, great service and great wines . We tried the Verdelo which was very nice , easy drinking for summer days . Looking forward to trying their Rose and Reds .

Awesome wines, well priced, Great Platters, warm and friendly owners! A feel good place to spend an afternoon.

Lunch platter was fsntastic! Staff very knowledgeable and warming. Now the wine tastings... WOWWWWW! Go the verdello! And if you like red... The Malbec. Creamy cheddar with warm toasted bread, local olives, fantastic quiche and cold meats. With an inviting calendar of events through the year, this place is worth a few extra kms .. And the wine dogs are wonderful company! Call out for "Fizz"!

My partner and I got a deal for lunch and a wine tasting at Faber Vineyard, and it made a lovely excursion to Swan Valley for a day (combined with a few other stops). We got there a few minutes early, and (after being greeted by the pleasant owner) had time to play with the uber-cute pups and wander through the lovely backyard/vineyards. A nice, peaceful setting to put us in a relaxed, indulgent mood! Once everyone had arrived (I think there were about 12 of us altogether?), we had the wine tasting. I'm really more of a beer or cocktail girl, so critiquing wine is certainly not my forte. I did enjoy several of the wines on offer (especially the Autumn Harvest), and my partner, who is a bit more knowledgeable in that regard, enjoyed them as well. We didn't end up actually purchasing any, however. Lastly, we had the lunch, which was totally scrumptious. The voucher said lunch would be soup with bread and a tasting platter, so I was a little unsure as to how substantial it was going to be. We were pleasantly surprised! The bowls of pumpkin soup were enormous and absolutely delicious - very filling, down-home, comfort food but with a little something extra that elevated it. The bread was really nice as well. The tasting plate had a variety of meats, cheeses, etc. and offered a nice, plentiful variety! There was also more wine, pleasant service, no hard-sells and all the time we wanted to linger and enjoy ourselves. Not being a big wine person, I may not be rushing back here immediately, but I absolutely recommend it and can certainly see myself back here again! Beyond being just a winery and tasting, it was a really lovely meal and fabulous atmosphere.

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Came here on a recommendation from another vineyard and so glad we did. They only open on weekends, weekdays by appointment. They don't seem to take large groups but that is one of the reasons I loved it. You grab yourself a table or a couch and the owner comes out, has a chat and then starts the tasting options beought to your table. There is a kitchen that offers platters as well to eat as you taste or you can buy glasses of wine. Easy spot to spend an hour or so tasting and chatting with your companions. Will definitely come back to do this again. The wines again were lovely, sourced from grapes both at the vineyard and from the Manjimup region. Highly recommend if you have a couple friends who love wine and a chat out in the valley!

I've never been treated like this in my whole life! My parents, my partner and I were given some vouchers for Christmas which were for wine tasting and a lunch platter. At first everything was fine, the lady who owns the place was on her own so was rushed off her feet with about 5 tables to look after but she was quite pleasant and even though it took an hour and a half to get through all the tastings we were happy enough. She was then going to organize our lunch platters and her husband rocked up so we asked him for a bottle of wine that we would like to enjoy with our lunch and he brought it to us and opened it, however he didnt bring us any glasses. There was a tray of about 20 wine glasses behind us which had been there since we arrived so my dad got up to get some for us....the husband/owner asked my dad what he was doing and snatched the glasses off him! he then proceded to tell us that they are not our servents and if we would like something ask for it. Which is a little ironic because we grabbed the glasses to help them out since they were getting busy. He came back and had more to say and at this time we said we were paying customers and he had a go at us for using discount vouchers!! This totally ruined our day and all we wanted to do was to get out of there. I was a real shame because the lady owner put in such an effort but because of her rude and arrogant husband we will never go back and would encourage others to skip this winery if you go to the swan valley. The wine was also nothing special, plenty of better wineries with better service in the valley.
