Fabindia advertises products online that are not available in-store. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. After paying for a pair of chappals, I noticed—while still inside the store and before leaving—that one sandal was damaged and did not match the other. I immediately refused to take the defective item. This was not an isolated issue; I had already pointed out another damaged pair of juttis on display, indicating that defective merchandise is being offered for sale. A communication barrier made resolution difficult. Despite this being a clear case of defective goods, the store refused a refund, stating that refunds are only applicable to online purchases. This policy was unreasonable given that payment had just been made and the defect was identified immediately. Only after I firmly asserted my consumer rights did the staff agree to process a card reversal. Worst, worst, worst experience at Fabindia Kala Ghoda. The staff was absolutely uninterested, not even showing us options and just asking us to look on our own. When we asked about specific items, they didn’t even bother checking and just said “not available.” Pathetic service wouldn’t even buy something from here if it was free.

Whether it’s apparel or household items you’re looking for, they have a fine selection of Indian/ethnic designs. Love this place. We see a new range every time we visit. Highly recommended.

FabIndia in all its glory. They have everything here. Men's, women's and kid's wear, home decor, their organic food range and kitchenware.

Today, I went with a Fabindia stole to Fort Mumbai, which was a gift from an office farewell. The tag was intact, yet the storekeeper refused to exchange it. So are tags irrelevant as the every other store has unique inventory and unique tags. I am never shopping from Fabindia again, if this is the state of customer experience.

Price range - ₹₹₹₹ The store is awesome, the staff is so friendly, and the items are just wow! What more you can ask for? Though a bit pricey, but who cares!
