Excellent hotel but they copy your card details including pin instead of pre-authorizing it on a machine. Huge security red flag. I work at a bank and this is how most card thefts happen. Concierge guy was pretty adamant that this is standard practice but I've stayed over 20 hotels in Mexico over the decade and this was the first time for me. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide in 4 continents, from poor countries to rich ones - no one has blatantly copied down my card details like this. The website says the card needs to be presented at check in. Nowhere does it say that they will just copy card details down. Maybe the hotel staff doesn't know what 'presented' means. At any point any staff from that company can decide to go online shopping with your card. Or a data leak on their backward system means your card is now compromised. They have all the details. Does that seem safe to you? They don't even have the ability to pre-authorize your card on the pos terminal machine, what type of technology and security do you think they use? Unacceptable in this day and age. Also, the wifi was really slow - likely due to the only router AP being too far from my unit. Which is such a simple issue to fix for them. Surprised that they cheaped out on that. Very central location. Close to Coco Bongo, 5 mins to the main street - 5th avenue. But there is noise from nearby restaurants /establishments into late night. The glass wall to balcony is also very thin and you will hear every car or motorcycle passing on the street very loudly all through the night. We woke up several times pretty much each night. My hotel room (1 bedroom unit) was excellent - very spacious, comfortable. Could see myself living here for sometime at a unit like this at another hotel where I am not worried constantly, the noise is bearable, and the wifi works.

The hotel is very well located, one block from the town hall and two from 5th avenue. The hotel is rather simple, the rooms are very spacious with an own kitchen. The pool is nice for children. Curtains are not really darkening the room. Very silent airconditioning. Poor internet.

We come almost every year to Playa and stay in this Hotel Apartment. The Rooms are always clean and the Reception is helpful. Thanks to the cleaning ladies Dulce and Mary. Just the Suite on the Second Floor needs to be renovated (New beds ,old are very noisy) but through all, all good. The Suite on the third Floor is amazing and new. You get everyday a beach towel at the reception. They even offer a laundry service, which wad very quick. We wanna thank especially Jonathan from the Reception for his wonderful Service. He's very professional, friendly and helped us with everything. He deserve a raise! The hotel is safe due to the locked Gate. The Location is good and not to loud. You are 5 min in front of the street where the Coco Bongo is and the 5a Avenida. Vamos a regresar pronto!

We had a great experience staying here. The free parking and late check-in until 11pm were really convenient. We got a last-minute deal and ended up in a 2-bed apartment with a kitchen, which was amazing for the price. While it’s not the most modern inside, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy, and there’s a huge modern Sony TV. The only downsides were that the AC in the main bedroom didn’t work well, so we slept in the other one, and the windows facing the street are a bit thin. The pool area looks great, though we didn’t get a chance to use it as we were out all day. The location is perfect—quiet and away from the main tourist walkway, which was a blessing. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We received an email one day after checkout that there was damage to the countertop and a cutlery tray and $115usd was going to be deducted from our deposit. This of course is untrue and we were outraged. We were all at the hotel for a further 5 hours awaiting our transfer to the airport and was reassured from Eric at the front desk that all was well and therefore the deposit would be returned in 2 business days. We are completely stunned and feel very cheated by CondoHotels. There should be a process in place to review/inspect the property before and after to avoid such charges. Before the email, we all felt it was a very good vacation even though the list of amenities are incorrect on their website. There are not 3 restaurants , spa, nor gym onsite. These are located outside the premise. Room 211 has no soundproofing and therefore loud party music can be heard from 11pm to 3 am daily. Angry and upset. Not what I wanted from a vacation.

Great hotel. Close to 5th Avenue and the beach, yet far enough away from the noise to bother you. We also had a situation where we needed to move to another room, the staff responded wonderfully!

very spacious one bedroom apartment. Decorated in style, huge bed, comfy couch sufficient bathroom. My room was very bright and well decorated. Cozy lihing and very quiet airco as well as a quiet fan above the bed and in the living room. For the price I paid i was not expecting such a nice place. Pool was lovely and the whole building and patio was clean and looked lovey. Small details as the lovey fresh perfume that was vaporated made this place a great home. beach towels are available free of charge. Location is perfect, just a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants are just around the corner. Supermarket opposite the apartments. The only downside was that there was nothing in he kitchen, no salt, pepper or cooking oil. This is a shame if you want to cook meals. It would be nice if they would leave the bare essentials hat previous visitors left behind. ||I would definitely return here, especially for this price!
