Excellent hotel and value. I’m currently staying at the Ritz in Hertlya to be near friends and although it’s a totally different type of hotel, it’s double the price, half the service and experience. I’ve stayed at the Atlas hotel on Rothschild and also went to check out the Shalom Atlas and Tal Atlas closer to the beach and I prefer Fabric. As others pointed out the standard room is very small so I’d go for a superior if you want a decent sized room. Location is great although all the action happens a couple blocks from here in evening so keep that in mind. Breakfast is great, service really amazing for a small hotel like this at this price point. The complementary drink at happy hour, nice breakfast, sweets at the front desk and offering of sangria, complimentary bicycles, towels for the beach (would be nice to offer larger ones) really make the place stand out. Keep in mind that the views are nothing special at the hotel with the front ones facing the street and back ones facing a parking lot so keep expectations low on this front. At night it won’t be super quiet as it’s a street with restaurants and bars close by but nothing to really keep you up although maybe if you live in the countryside/suburbs and are used to only birds chirping in the morning. I live in Tribeca Manhattan in a relatively quiet area but still it’s the city. I slept fine, was not disrupted by the city sounds and I was on the third floor facing the street..
Anyway, I recommend this place and this is coming from a picky traveler who for fun goes around checking out other hotels for future stays. Went to check out the new Gimnasia hotel around the corner which feels more upscale in the lobby area but the rooms are not as comfortable and breakfast didn’t look as good.
