The pastel da nata was warm and fresh every time I got it! It was flaky and buttery, also the space inside fabrics da nata was big so was easy to find a place to sit!

Google
The Pastel de Nata were still warm and very tasty. Affordable (1.40€ per unit and they also offer à discount if you buy per 6).

Google
Freshly made and crispy base. Icing sugar and cinnamon packed in individual sachets for my takeaway order was a smart touch. Staff could be a bit friendlier.

Google
One of the places I’ve saved on my list and it did not disappoint. The custard want an overly sweet but still sweet tho the crust were thin and flaky. Staff was rlly nice I brought my mom with me but only bought one and they gave me another Pastel de nata for free thank you so muxhhhjh ❤️❤️❤️

Google

Google
One of my fav pasteis de nata shops in Porto, perfect consistency and sugar level

Google
One of our favorite pastel de nata places! We visit every time when in Porto.

Google
The quality of Pastel De Nata in Portugal depends on the quality of the football teams. The better the football team in a city, the tastier Pastel De Nata it has. I liked the Pastel De Nata here, but Pastel De Natas in Lisbon are tastier than in Porto.

Yelp
Pastel de Nata! Look no further this place is the bomb! You actually will not be disappointed with whatever you pick but as the name suggest you will have to get a few dozen Pastel de Nata! Good for the holidays and good way to share your Portugal experience with family and friends. Wait staff is super friendly and what else can I say. Until next time.

Yelp
Solid spot for a quick breakfast in Porto! My friend and I came here around 10 am to grab a bite to eat before hitting up the local sights. You order first and get your food before looking for a place to sit upstairs. We got a freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, one pastel de nata, one pastel bacalhau, and one egg and tomato croissant sandwich for only €11. I thought it was a good price for the meal. This was my first nata on the trip, so I didn't have anything else to compare it to, but I personally found it a bit sweet. I appreciated the crunchy exterior though. All the food was tasty and I really enjoyed my orange juice. There is plenty of seating between the two floors, even for larger groups.

Yelp
Quickly stopped to grab a pastel de nata to compare to another one. The crust on this makes it a winner. Glad they spoke English so service was a breeze. Nice tile art decor on the wall, they had tables with stools and some without. It was busy and only standing option available at the time.

Yelp
Amazing pastel de nata Portuguese egg tarts. Crust is light buttery and crispy, the filling is creamy and still warm. You can see them making them behind the glass. They have combo meals paring them with ginga the sour cherry liquor, but you can order them by themselves for 1.30€ each. Add some cinnamon and powdered sugar on top and you won't be disappointed. You should get at least 2 or save room for another famous pastel de nata place. Both were equally pronominal!

Lauren N.

Yelp
One of the main pastel de nata spots in porto. It's a good spot on the main shopping street and they're open late. But out of all the ones I've tried, (Castro, Manteigaria, Nata, and a few other smaller bakeries) this was my least favorite. We checked this place out twice, once ~11am and ~9pm. But both times, the natas were not fresh and just didn't hit the spot. They have a whole display area where bakers would make the natas, but it was empty both times. The nata itself was a bit too sweet for my liking and had more of a runny/milky custard. I wish it was slightly more firm. the crust was also not flakey enough for me. keep in mind this is my personal preference. It was still a solid pastel de nata and would recommend trying one. But if I had to pick which pastel de nata place I'd return back, this isn't it.

Yelp
A very popular chain! I am on the hunt for the best egg tart in the world, so naturally i had to give this one a try. I would rate it an 8.5/10! Pastel de Nata: The base is flaky, crispy, and crunchy. A good base. The custard cream inside had a nice sweetness that was vanilla forward. I do have to note that the taste is more flavorful and different than others. I really enjoyed this one! So far it is one of my top pastel de natas in Porto I have tried (I've tried 7 so far). Vanilla Latte: My friend ordered this one and she is usually used to American (sweet) coffee. European coffee tends to be stronger and more coffee than syrup or milk. So not a hit for us but if you like your coffee strong or if you're a fan of black coffee, definitely give it a try! Service: It was fast counter service and we had no issues ordering Ambiance: It is a cute little place with seating in the back. It is pretty big and there is an area where you can watch the bakers make the pastel de natas in house! Place was neat and clean.

Yelp
Best pastel de nata. Period. I tried a lot of bakeries for these, this one was the best!

Steve S.

Yelp
We were early for our food walking tour in Porto so we HAD to have an espresso and pasteis de nata...I mean we needed some energy for the tour, right? Very affordable and the pastries might have been the best in the Porto area. Simply fantastic. Service was quick and we were able to sit at a table for a few minutes before we had to go.

Divyesh P.

Yelp
Not typically a fan of egg tarts, but these were good! Apparently it's a thing to try in Porto so might as well. They have combos which include a glass of port wine as well. A nice combo they have that checks off at least 2 things in the culinary Porto journey.

Amy C.

Yelp
When in Portugal, you eat as many pasteis de nata as possible! On our first day, we randomly saw this place walking to our Airbnb so we decided to come here after freshening up. Fabrica da Nata was our favorite place pasteis de nata! They were warm and good flaky! Not too sweet and just really good! It is true that nata is best warm because we tried other places and some weren't warm. Having a warm Nata makes a big difference on how much you'll enjoy them! There are so many pasteis de nata places to stop by to eat as many as your heart desires! Definitely stop by this place to compare to the many natas you'll be eating in Portugal!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Yummy and famous. There is more seating upstairs and great place to stop when it rains like it did for us. Enjoying a wonderful breakfast at this popular chain.

Ali M.

Yelp
Fresh and awesome desert place. Nice coffee to pAir with it Just can't stop eating these dessert

Amanda C.

Yelp
Good crust - flaky and not too thick or thin, but found their natas here way too sweet for me! I think others may find it OK, but for my fellow Asians who love desserts that are "not too sweet" I'd skip this one. There is usually a line but it moves quick. The cash machine is pretty cool, you just put your money in and it'll spit your change out! Seating inside and out, with a bathroom available.

David S.

Yelp
Nice sandwiches and pastel de nana. Beer and wine. Staff speaks English. Has a restroom for customers. Very clean. Reasonable prices.

Naveen S.

Yelp
Great pastel de nata in Porto, Portugal. Traditional Portuguese pastry, must try when in Porto.

Pete F.

Yelp
Pasteis de nata is really yummy. The crust is very flaky and the custard isn't overly sweet. Their hot chocolate is also really good. The service is efficient and girl they helped us was fluent in English. There's some seating outside as well as good seating upstairs.

Kelvin L.

Yelp
One of our favourite pasteis de Nata location. You simply cannot go wrong with this location. This was also the time we got to try it with ice cream! It's in a very heavy foot traffic location so there can be waits just to order. I love how they have little stalls in the side so you can eat you pastries and then head out. Another plus having powdered sugar and cinnamon available (cannot go without this now when having Nata) Bonus: love the opportunity to watch the kitchen make these delicious pastries.

Vera J.

Yelp
This was my very first pastel de nata in Porto and it was okay. I confirmed that it would be hot but ended up getting a lukewarm one. Good service.

Michelle T.

Yelp
This was my favorite pasteis de nata place after trying it all over Porto and Lisbon ! It was something about the filling that made it stood out. I know the other popular place has a really nice crust but so does this place. The best part is their deals they put it too with pairing it with bica or port wine. The place is cozy with multiple levels. It's chic and sleek. The sandwiches are amazing with croissant ham and cheese. I also love the fresh orange juice they make. Now that I'm back at the states, I am craving for this so much.

Danny H.

Yelp
Great product and great service. Go when they open and enjoy when warm. I did! In my opinion, better than manteigaria. The crust was perfect and the taste was balanced throughout. Definitely spoiled that I ate them when they opened their doors

Suor K.

Yelp
Fabrica da Nata is one of the few places in Porto dedicated to making pastel de nata. The other is Manteigaria. The restaurant is located in a busy shopping area. There is seating outdoors if you want to hang out with the smokers. However, it is quite roomy, sunny, and beautiful on the interior. There are 3 levels of seating. The pastel de nata is creamy and custardy. The pastry is flaky and crunchy. Similar to the pastel de nata at Manteigaria, the pastel de nata at Fabrica da Nata is sweet. The pastel de nata at Pasteis de Belem is still my favorite in Portugal, mainly because it's not sweet. The price is €1 per pastry.

Yelp
These are the best Portuguese Egg Tarts I've encountered in Porto! They're constantly making them, as you can see from my photo of the maker with the dozens of tarts, so you can be sure they're super fresh, with a super flaky crust! The inside is more creamy and rich, rather than a light egg-like texture, but I liked it. If I returned to Porto, I would return here for their tarts. To boot, they have a couple of levels where you can sit and leisurely devour your sweet treat. We sat on the second floor, which was nice, but I'd try to get a table on the third floor. It's cuter with chandeliers, and just a nice place for a brief respite during your stroll in Lisbon. Come prepared to expect a line, as there was for me, on Sunday. However, it moved along nicely. Only downside was that their WiFi was incredibly spotty. So much so, that I was barely able to complete my check-in here, as there were so many people on their phones that I kept getting booted off. Outside of that, all was good here.

Emily C.

Yelp
I love going to the cafes that only specialize in pasteis de nata. This one had other things on their menu as well but you can tell that they still focus most of their attention on the Portuguese egg tart with the large display of it. Their other items include a limited amount of other pastries and savory sandwiches but of course, I came for the egg tart. It wasn't warm and the crust wasn't as crunchy as other places that I've tried but it was still buttery and flakey. The inside filling was a tasty custard cream, just slightly sweet. It paired well with their cofee.

Bloss C.

Yelp
One of my favorite patels de natas in Portugal. They also had a 2.5€ special for a nata and a glass of red or white port. I dont see how anyone can ever turn that deal down. I stopped in for one everytime I passed the store.

Alice L.

Yelp
Extremely charming cafe with a majority of the seating located upstairs. We ordered a variety for snacks including OJ, croissant (so flaky and yum!), the codfish croquette, and a pastel de nata. This was my 2nd place to have the Portuguese egg tart and the one they gave us wasn't as "burnt" on top as I would've liked. But I saw the other ones on display and they looked good so maybe I just got a dud. They have their bakery on display so you can watch them make the tarts and the trays of them bubbling and cooling off. I really enjoyed the croissant and OJ though. Worth a visit!

Jean Y.

Yelp
The famous egg tart factory! Located no car zone in Porto. Very pretty lady giving you the samples here! In my opinion the famous eggtart is a mixture of Eclair and cambruille! But better! Actually I had almost every morning one eggtart and espresso and happy. No where else in the world these two would be so tasty like here! Very friendly people also. I sat down upstairs and enjoy my afternoon here.

Mary C.

Yelp
Spent 6 weeks in Porto and had breakfast here at least twice a week. Excellent service and delicious pastries and coffee.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
The best Nata in all of Porto!! It is affordable so you can buy 20!!! Haha the coffee is amazing too, I highly recommend this place.

Nataly K.

Yelp
It's a nice coffee place with traditional Portugues pastry. We get a recommendation to visit this place from locals. I am very happy that we did. Coffee is very good. Price is very affordable. Pastry is very fresh and tasty.

Gabby E.

Yelp
Pasteis de nata is solid. Other food options are also good such as the croissant misto which is my go to.

Tess M.

Yelp
Went exploring Porto for Pasteis de nata. Ended up buying four here. Brought them to the beach at the Atlantic coast. Yummy even as a take out!

J K.

Yelp
We ended up here after an unpleasant experience at a different tart place down the street. Egg tarts and coffee were good. Staff friendly. Good atmosphere. It was sooooo much better. Highly recommend.

Maria Jose C.

Yelp
We came here almost every day during our stay in Porto. They had delicious pasteis de nata (egg tart) and sandwiches (smoked ham and cheese sandwich and tuna sandwich). We even bought some sandwiches the night before our trip to have something to eat during our trip and they kept well. Service was great and they spoke English/Spanish as well.

Brian P.

Yelp
Neat little cafe. Lots of tables upstairs but it can get busy. Very reasonable prices- an egg tart and a port for only 2.50. The ham and cheese was my favorite. Staff speak good English and are patient with foreigners. Highly recommended.

Russ L.

Yelp
Conveniently located on the busy shopping promenade of Rua Santa Catarina. A great place to get your snack or an afternoon jolt of energy. The Pasteis de Nata are delicious with creamy custard filling and a light and flaky crust. You can watch them make it on the left hand side when you enter the door. Very affordable.

Hasmik P.

Yelp
Best pastel de natas we have had so far. The place was nice but the ambiance could be improved.

Terrance P.

Yelp
I'm not sure if I can make a honest and fair review since this is the first bakery we stopped by but from the visit it appears well maintained and clean. There are two levels with street views and plenty of seating. We enjoyed the egg tarts, cod fish and veal croquettes along with fresh squeezed orange juice and an espresso shot. Noticed that everyone there were having egg tarts with a glass of port. You know what they say - when in Rome!

Shirley L.

Yelp
This is my one of my favorite places to get a pasteis de nata. The pastry is so flaky and the filling is delicious. I was so happy to see there is a location in Porto.

Kathy L.

Yelp
Delicious fresh custard tarts!! So worth it. Pass on the cod fish pastry, but eat the pastel de natas to your heart's content.

Floris V.

Yelp
Very nice pasteis de nata, friendly and quick service. The name clearly tells you that it's a chain and caters to tourists, but if you've got a lovely little pastry with delicious cream running, who cares?

Huy G.

Yelp
I llike this place. Hot, fluffy pasteis de nata (eggtarts). Ok customer service. Free WiFi. Beautiful decoration. More seats upstairs. This place had the second best eggtarts in Porto, in my opinion. It's near the Bolhao metro station too, and near a busy shopping street. A must visit !!

A Dreamer's H.

Yelp
We ordered tomato/mozzarella on a multi-grain bread and grilled chicken on a baguette. Both were delicious. The custard tarts were unique. Not what I expected. I was thinking it was going to be egg-y. I am interested to see what the other pastel de natas taste like compared to Fabrica da Nata.

Ileana R.

Yelp
Really good coffee and nata pastel!!! Very centric, also has a tea room! You can see the prep.

Anne L.

Yelp
Delicious warm pastel de nata that you can add sugar and cinnamon to the top. You can watch them make the pastries in the front of the store.

Ulrike S.

Yelp
Best nata ever! It was still warm. Soo good. Don't let yourself be deterred by the self service and the line. They are really fast, so it goes quickly. The reward is great...
