Im surprised by the good reviews. I chose this place based on the photos, especially since it looked nice. I was so disappointed. 1. Service - The elderly man at the front desk was extremely curt towards me, I thought maybe customer service in Argentina was like that until I saw him laughing and chatting with another white lady just fine. I am not white, so maybe that was the reason? I was a bit shocked honestly. Also all other customer service people have been so polite in this country, so knocking off a point there. 2. Outdated - the rooms are extremely outdated, and EXTREMELY TINY. I barely had place to move around, and I was using the room by myself. The bathroom was also not great, shower was rusted. The toilet was super weird too (you have to pull a tab and make sure it goes back exactly, or it will leak all night) Based on other people's photos, it seems like I was placed in an unrenovated room. I hated staying in the room, and avoided being here as much as possible. 3. Temperature - You cant control the temp in the room, which means you will either be too cold or too hot (I was too cold the first night, then too hot the 2nd) depending on what the setting is. 4. Lack of outlets - There arent enough outlets in the room, I had to unplug the lamp. 5. Window view - looked out into another wall of a building and the window was dirty. 6. Cleanliness - Found multiple hairs in the shower. Breakfast was decent, had a lot of protein options, and everybody at breakfast was really polite. The eggs were really good (minus the shell I chomped on). It was annoying that everything has to be asked vs a buffet (guessing it is a cost saving measure), even the water! Breakfast would get tiring after 2 days though, they don't swap out the menu. Overall, I know this place is cheap, but had I known, I would have paid more and gone elsewhere. This is coming from a person that stayed in multiple hostels. Don't be fooled by the photos.

spent almost 2 months. The service and attention is phenomenal, really good breakfast options and the price of the room for a 3 star hotel is a win win considering the location. The food is also excellent. Things to improve : - Improve dinner options (it's better during the lunch. Like more economic options) - sometimes the smart lock is not working properly. - the air conditioner is centralized, and may get cold during the night. my room didn't have any way of closing it or stop the air flow.

Somewhat upscale with delicious breakfast. Friendly front desk service and many locations within walking distance

Rooms are very tired! Certainly in need of an upgrade. As opposed to the modern, clean and tidy reception. Staff are very helpful and it has security staff at the door. Superb value considering how central it is. I love to walk and walked to all the sights from the hotel. Street it is on is a bit run down. Not great views from the rooms. Also the beeps from the elevators are quite annoying so you may need ear plugs to sleep. The breakfast was pretty good and adds to the overall great value

The hotel is located in the city center, next to Florida Street, where you can exchange dollars. We got a small room, we had 4 suitcases and it was quite cramped. It is very inconvenient that the air conditioning is turned on through the reception, it is impossible to turn on the cooling yourself. Delicious breakfasts with friendly people. We don't understand Spanish, but the people at the reception were always ready to help us ⭐️

Altogether a pleasant experience, first of all the location is great for most of the sightseeing in the inner city and there's plenty of decent restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit worn but at least clean, AC worked well and was silent. Breakfast was ok, not great though. Only real downside is the fact that it is not really quiet, to the outside it was quite ok, but due to the thin walls and the in my opinion questionable "cooling" slits in the entrance door you could hear what the entire floor was up to.

The best things about the hotel were the location and the very nice employees.Nice lobby, breakfast OK, good wifi connection. On the other hand, the bedroom was old, the bathroom was dated, lack of isolation meaning we heard all the noise from the other bedrooms and corridors. Our toilet was blocked for two days in a row. There was a strong smell of paint that triggered some alergic reaction to one guest of my group. It needs updating.

I stayed here for 5 nights during my recent visit to Buenos Aires. The hotel in the central city is close to everything - 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal, close to the main sites and about an easy approximately 20 minute walk to Recoleta, San Telmo and Boca. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially for someone who speaks limited spanish. Breakfast provided good variety with cereal, pastries, scrambled eggs - a budget contential breakfast if you like. The rooms are clean and serviced regularly. The only downside was the window in the room did not get much direct light as it faced another part of the hotel about 10 metres away. Otherwise good value overall and accssible to most things.
