"As a city with many Western expats, Abu Dhabi features restaurants that offer a retreat to the familiar. Sometimes another kebab, another bowl of hummus, or another ball of kibbe won’t do the trick—and that's when you turn to a pint of Guinness and some fish-and-chips. Abu Dhabi's Fadó is the latest outpost of the Irish-owned American pub chain; it's located in the Oryx Hotel in the vibrant Khalidiya neighborhood. The menu boasts all the pub standards you would expect, including burgers and chicken wings, but the live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights is the real draw. Listen to a Filipino band play American classic-rock standards over a glass of wine, a cocktail from the well-stocked bar, or just a nice, cold pint of beer."
The people who run this place - Samjhana, May, Roshina and Jinky. We used to have Roy. But these ladies… they are amazing. They look after us all as a family. Fantastic service, never left waiting even when it’s crazy 😁
A proper Irish pub in the middle of Abu Dhabi city, no shamrocks just a nice place to have a pint and the food is good too. My local, only thought now to give it a review. Very welcoming place. Recommend the fish tacos, and of course thick fries with Guinness sauce.

This place is really nice for relaxing and having a good time, whether you're by yourself or with friends and family. The food was really yummy and they had a lot of options on the menu. We got nachos and calamari, and they were both really good, satisfying our cravings. The happy hour prices were great too. I highly suggest giving this place a try, and I'm definitely planning on going back.

I visited Fado first time and the experience was OK. .the place seems to be a bit understaffed because we needed to look for them to get their attention.
Tried their Pretzel’s with cheese and mustard sauce which was amazing and fresh.
The garlic prawns was out of this world , well balanced with right amount of spices and flavor.
Live band was soothing with right volume so we could do conversation without screaming.

Good old, lively Irish pub on the mezzanine floor of the Oryx hotel on the Corniche Road. Lively atmosphere. Regular live music and plenty of live sport on the TVs. Nice menu. Delicious food. Helpful staff, mostly from Nepal. The pub attracts people of all nationalities, but especially Irish expatriates. Something different.
