Both Marissa’s were so sweet and have great customer service ! Food is spectacular I got an everything bagel with cream cheese a blueberry danish a Carmel latte and a hot chocolate! This place has the sweetest vibe Definitely will be coming back again !

Cool place with a character. Lots of lovely patio seating. I loved the plants and foliage and the country decor. There was the nicest staff that was willing to remake my sandwich to accommodate my food allergies after I realized I ordered it wrong. Awesome coffee. Would come back again. This place is really cute but it's often very crowded. I sat inside and outside before. The staff is friendly. They're very busy. The coffee's great good price point and the food is pretty good and they have a lot of options.

The atmosphere is nice, and you can enjoy a variety of breads and coffee. The coffee is relatively inexpensive, and I assume the reason for the low price is that they only use a single shot of espresso. As a result, the coffee tastes quite weak. They have a selection of board games, allowing customers to enjoy them while drinking coffee. One downside is the limited parking space, making it somewhat inconvenient to park.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is always super friendly no matter how busy it is. The hot chocolate is amazing. But the best part about this place is the cookies! They have the best cookies in the sacramento area. I am obsessed with their white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. It is pure perfection. I have never had a better cookie. I asked the barista if they made them in house, and she said yes. My husband and I come stop by whenever we are close so I can get my cookie fix. Sorry about the cat and background in the photo. What a delightful little spot for a morning pastry / coffee / conversation. We had an excellent breakfast in a very crowded / busy dining room on a Saturday morning, just before Christmas. No tables available, but a lovely couple shared their six top and we made it work. The food was delicious, especially the pastries. In terms of service - wow. The owner came out and gave my two little girls a Christmas cookie on the house, and shared stories of his own past in the kitchen as well as of his children, who grew up in the kitchen. It was a nice "get to know you" conversation, but also showed he was tuned in to his customers. Very relatable. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely go back. A weekend breakfast gem.

Parking is not great in this cute area. The space itself is so cute! Neighborhood cafe. Lots of locals and those who travel through the trails. The free roaming chickens and roosters are great. Outdoor area is a relaxing space. Coffee menu is pretty standard. Diner like menu. The burrito is stuffed and delicious.

This sandwich place is the best! The vibe inside and out is perfect. They have a wonderful outdoor area with lots of seating and plenty indoors as well. Decor is well thought out offering lots of feel good ambiance. We ordered The Village Veggie with hummus. (Your choice, hummus or cream cheese) and The California Bird to share. They serve high quality Boars Head meat on their sandwiches and are available panini style if you like yours hot. Both choices were super flavorful with soft tasty bread. We also tested out their other goodies - a heath bar cookie and the most delicious pistachio muffin. Quite possibly the best muffin I've ever had. Although they were busy, their service was speedy and very friendly. We were stoked that they have a breakfast menu and a large selection of baked goods. We plan on a breakfast visit next time.

Haven't eaten my sandwich yet but updated the price of the sandwiches. The picture last year said $8.99. Today they are $12.99. Service was nice. Place was clean. Hope it's a nice size Sandwich.

I ordered the turkey panini which was delicious, however I kept finding fuzz and little hairs on my bread which was pretty gross to find. So make sure to look at your bread before eating. I'll definitely be back, I just hope that doesn't happwn again...

The customer service and atmosphere here is second to none. This is my go-to spot for breakfast items at a reasonable price with a straightforward coffee selection. The Adabagel, the veggie breakfast burrito, and the regular selection of fresh baked goods are superb. Great seating (the best in the Village) and good conversations abound at this centerpiece of Old Fair Oaks culture.

I do not usually write reviews...ever. However, I take customer service pretty serious especially at small business like this one. The girl who was taking my order seemed so uninterested in me being there and distracted that I had to ask her, "did I interrupt you guys from cleaning or something?" Just due to the energy she was giving me. I give her the benefit of the doubt because she did end up saying sorry and actually tuned into my order and suggesting some topping for my sandwich. I know this was such a short encounter but from my own experience in service...this interaction could have been way more genuine and inviting. I hope this reaches the right audience and serves as effective Criticism for the shop.

This little nook is becoming one of my favorites... we were just here on 10.30.2022 right after massages We wanted something light to eat....both had a bagel with cream cheese. Did not get pictures unfortunately They have so many eclectic things here! Starting with the wall art. Ocean waves and nautical scenes..... awards as best food.... Full deli sandwich bar... FULL fridge of drinks from soda, coffee, energy, juice, tea, milk... It's the perfect little spot when visiting fair oaks village and the employees are very welcoming. A+

This place is a staple for anyone who has grown up or growing up in Fair Oaks and surrounding areas for that matter.Iy is right across the street from a park next door to a hole in the wall bar..This place has choices of bagels sandwiches cool refreshing drinks and so much more..Plenty of seating inside and even a few seats outside. The folks that work here are so cool as well..You can tell they grew up here as well so strike up a conversation you might learn a few things about old town Fair Oaks. You will enjoy this place I know I do every time I go and get a sandwich and walk at the park..

We went here bright and early the barista was ready to take our orders and was extremely nice! Our coffees were great! They have an amazing outdoor seating area with the lovely roosters that roam old fair oaks! I really can't wait to go back and get a sandwich they looked really really good!

Every once in a while, there is a hidden gem, that should be not only discovered, but rediscovered, over, and over again. Fair Oaks coffee House and deli, is that place! It truly is an understatement to say that the entire staff is fabulous. But frankly, they are. They are friendly, inviting, and just really nice people. The food... They make amazing soups that change all the time. We've had the lasagna soup, and it's amazing potato soup, that had so many wonderful flavors, we both ended up scraping the bottom of the bowl. Diners tip: Order the bowl of soup, and one sandwich. It's totally shareable, although, you may not want to share. And that's totally understandable. Yes, the foods that good. You want the five meats original sandwich. It's like heaven on a plate. We always order ours with a little extra mayo on it, but everything about the sandwich is deliciousness. There's plenty of meat, and your choice of cheese, and the produce that you may or may not want. I tend to go produce free, because why ruin the meat?! After you were feeling completely full and satiated, they have a variety of housemaid cookies. I have had all of them. You will want all of them. You will not want to share. Don't tell your friends to get their own LOL If you're not in the mood for lunch, they offer a variety of breakfast items, including bakery items, along with a lovely variety of coffees, teas and hot beverages. If you haven't tried this place yet, please definitely go check them out. This is one of those mom and pops that you want to support. Great food, great people, and always a great experience!

Small, family-owned cafe in the "Chicken District" of Fair Oaks: has outstanding outdoor seating with lots of shade and a trickling water feature. I had a decaf mocha with oat milk and a warmed croissant--really nice. Feral chickens wander around outdoors, and they're fun to watch. Great place with great atmosphere.

My daughter brought me here for some coffee and breakfast. I got the ham bacon egg and cheese sandwich with spinach, and it was very delicious. She got the veggie breakfast burrito and loved it. She's a regular here so she knew that there were cards and games to play while we sit and eat. So we played rummy! She beat me by 5 points of course, lol. The staff was very nice and warm. I got an iced caramel macchiato and she got an iced chai tea which were on point too! I really enjoyed this place. I'll be back :)

The food and coffee is great but the cashier/waiter in the front always ruins our morning with his passive aggressive attitude for no reason. All of the other workers are kind but the guy with the curly hair sucks. Makes us want to avoid coming any time he's in the front taking orders.

Cozy neighborhood coffeeshop in Fair Oaks. A solid cup of coffee with a decent selection of options with a friendly knowledgeable staff that was able to get the morning rush all taken care of in short order. Regular brewed coffee was solid and self-serve. Lattes and fancier coffee was excellent as well. The pastries were a little on the drier side (not sure if they're ordered or made in house), but the breakfast burrito was pretty tasty with a splash of Tapatio. Overall very cozy/homey vibe, if you need to get some work done or want to hunker down for an afternoon, a nice place to check out.

Lousy service; it's a deli and they had no clue what a club sandwich is. Went ahead and ordered the house specialty 5 meat sandwich... bland, dry, old lettuce, day old dry bread... looked like packaged loose meat from the chain grocery. Won't bother again.

The food and coffee is amazing, I live about 20 minutes away and will periodically drive to Fair Oaks just for lunch. I also have regular appointments in the area, and this is a must stop for me every time. The staff is always lovely and very personable, and I've never had any issues. Definitely recommend if you like espresso beverages and happen to be nearby.

Food was good! I also got the strawberry banana smoothie which was a good size and tasted great! Service was great too, they were all super friendly and attentive. It's also so cute in there! Good place to work on homework or anything like that.

One of the few places open in Fair Oaks at 1pm. I was shocked that I barely made it for a sandwich. I got the veggie sandwich with cream cheese and hummus sandwich. I recommend it for all. The place is really nice, cute inside. They have a nice bathroom down the hall. Parking is tricky. For being the few places open, the place is busy. I found a single spot and didn't have to pay. EVERYONE should try this Deli.

Attention: Chickens crossing from all sides of the street, lol. Before our hike at Sacramento Bar, hubby took me on a mini tour around Old Fair Oaks. We found this super cute coffee house where we enjoyed a couple fresh brewed coffees and two delicious muffins. The gist was a green pistachio muffin, not too sweet. The second muffin was cranberry cream cheese. I'm more of a danish-kinda-gal but these fresh baked muffins paired well with a freshly brewed coffee. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor seats just in front of the entrance where we watched chickens cross the street and leaves slowly fall from the trees at Plaza Park across the street. It's the perfect backdrop to start the morning!

Great service, dog friendly, employees are always happy and helpful most of all, great food I recommend setting by the window watching the world go by.

me and my husband go here every Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast. the service is always wonderful. this place is indescribable. it's beautiful inside and out. the patio and inside seating are equally great! they have a great collection of ever food or drink you could want! they have good prices compared to the other cafés in the area. the food is sooo sooo delicious. they make everything fresh. hash browns burritos you name it n it's fresh. everybody that works here is very sweet. we love coming here i look forward to it every week -

My family and I have been going to this location since as long as I can remember and it's quite a gem nestled in Old Fair Oaks. Inside the deli they have some unique decor, just to name a few items from the menu, they sell frozen yogurt, coffee, breakfast, lasagna, sandwiches and so much more! We usually eat outside. You can see chickens and roosters while you eat, my daughter loves seeing them and follows them around wherever they go! They have water fountains and music, that's relaxing to hear the water rushing while you enjoy your meal. Something I discovered today was that they actually have a bar that is only exclusive for parties and holding events, very cool! Today I took my mother out to lunch, she ordered a medium half pint pasta salad and a water bottle and enjoyed it! For my daughter I asked if they could make her a pb & j sandwich even though I didn't see it on the menu and they said they could do it no problem which to me is great customer service. Her pb & j was made with strawberry jam, which she really enjoyed! Now onto my sandwich, I ordered The Big Turkey panini with cheddar instead of swiss for the first time and it was very filling and it was actually surprisingly the best sandwich I have ever had in my entire life! The cheese was perfectly melty, tomatoes were juicy, avocado nice and creamy, nicely sliced turkey and very flavorful I am guessing smoked bacon! I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out this coffee shop and deli, the staff is always helpful and friendly and the food is delicious!

So much to say! I have been passing by this cafe for the last ten years and I have never been inside until today. Everything is very fresh and delicious. Best staff! Very knowledgeable about the whole menu. Espresso coffee drinks, sandwiches, brunch, cheesecakes, house-made desserts and pastries, breakfast goodies, fantastic muffins for $2.5!, the best gluten free cookie for $1!, frozen yogurt, free WiFi, clean bathrooms, cute patio, nature everywhere.... the list goes on and on! I love this place and I'll be back! Thank you to the two girls behind the counter who had genuine smiles, who made my first visit delightful!

The O.G for a reason! When I'm in the mood for a sandwich I'm heading here, to our local deli spot. I usually get a plain Jane turkey and cheese or the BLT. Simple and good and they know how to treat their customers!

A friend/former coworker and I sought out Yelp's help finding a cozy breakfast spot for our long overdue catch up. Easily accessible from Hwy 50 via Sunrise, or cut through town via Fair Oaks Blvd, we had no problem finding them nor securing parking. Now this is a hidden gem. Full coffee and espresso bar, extensive breakfast and lunch menu, numerous house made baked goods, country store treats and snacks galore, and more than enough seating to enjoy your desired delicacy. It was a brisk morning so we enjoyed our food outside in the sun. I was of course that person and politely requested a lettuce wrapped sandwich. The owner was very understanding and happily accommodated my request with a smile, something I don't usually receive with my "sandwich" orders. My friend's panini was fantastic according to her, and we both downed our tasty coffee drinks. If I lived closer, this would be my weekend morning happy place, but sadly I have to save it for special trips. I promise I will not forget about you!

The customer service is amazing. It's a great place to study in or to just have a little brunch with friends. The sandwiches are really good as well as the tuxedo coffee! That coffee kept me energized all day! AND THERE IS A FRIENDLY ROOSTER OUTSIDE OMG!! I LOVE

I came in a few months ago with a friend to try the coffee and get some amazing nubs that ate offered here. We ordered a few pastreys ans quickly retreated to the outside to go eat. I wasnt outside on the balcony for very long before I was greeted by a few chickens and rooster which actually gave the place a at home feel. The pasteries were quite tasty actually. There was enough for me amd my friend to get some food as well as for some for the chickens to have some crumbs. I really enjoyed the Apple turnover and the little raspberry tart that I found. It was just the perfect little place and the perfect little snack for us to have during our little walk in the village. It was such a yummy and pleasant cafe to find in this cute little town. I'll deffinatly be back.

Came here for late lunch with my fiance when we wwre in the mood for a good sandwich. We both got pastrami sandwiches to our liking & their salads from the glass case were so flavorful & paired well with the sandwiches we had. Also had some tasty italian sodas! The two women working were so friendly & wonderful personalities. One with glasses & gauges & the other woman were both attentive to everyone. Wide variety of food,drinks & snacks. Will def be back!

Came here Saturday morning to try the panini breakfast sandwich and was amazed that they let you customize what you want on it from bread to meat to add-ons. I loved creating my own and it was delicious. We came at 740am so it was not busy at all, the coffee was hot and fresh and tasty. Will keep coming back for good breakfast and hot coffee!

I waited over 20 minutes for a panini. My total purchase was $21.37 which included a $3.26 tip. I was extremely disappointed in the wait time considering there was only 2 other customers besides me but to top it off I asked the cook who handed my food if he could top off my black tea said no we don't do refills. As a courtesy for waiting so long he could've top my tea off. I will never be coming back to this overpriced establishment...

It's been a handful of years since I had been to Fair Oaks Coffee House & Deli but I made a trip last week for an early dinner with a few of my favorite girls. It was Friday about 6pm when 2 of us arrived. The cafe was mostly empty and we were greeted excitedly and help right away. I ordered a BLT, classic, can't go wrong. My friend, also Amy, ordered her usual, turkey on french roll with lettuce, tomato and mayo. We both opted for waters and they gave us large plastic to-go cups which we were able to refill on our own. Just after we sat down, I could see Felicia outside making her way to our little gathering but she was delayed by her interest and entertainment in the groups of fighting roosters outside. Again, it had been some years since we had been to "Old Fair Oaks" and these colorful creatures were a fun addition to our visit. Felicia was able to put her tuna salad order in just as swiftly. After just few minutes of catching up and giggling, our food was served! All 3 dishes were very fresh, presented beautifully and tasted perfect. The atmosphere was ideal for three friends to catch up, sip our tea and water and enjoy the evening. We didn't splurge on dessert but I certainly will next time as the options are plenty. So don't get me wrong I like this place it's good food swanky environment but just don't ever deviate from what they've got on the menu!!! I ordered a five cheese grilled sandwich some add ons too but when the time came for the food to be brought out all the cheeses were cold. Idk if they have a grill but I would've appreciated my sandwich being microwaved since the panini press just couldn't do it. But it was still good just not what I was expecting. Should've gone to fast cats for this craving.
