Fairfield by Marriott Medellin Sabaneta

My stay here was pleasant and relaxing. Eskban at the front desk made sure I had a flawless check-in experience. He welcomed me as a Marriott Bonvoy member, explained the perks of my stay, and was available to assist with anything I needed throughout my visit.||||The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable—I slept great every night. Housekeeping was outstanding; my housekeeper was incredibly kind and went out of her way to keep my room spotless. Even when I requested extra service, she helped with a smile.||||When I visited the restaurant, Solomon took great care of me. As a vegetarian, I appreciated how he carefully explained the menu and offered great options. His piña colada was honestly the best I’ve had in a long time! He stayed attentive throughout my meal, making sure I had everything I needed.||||If you get the chance to stay here, I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back!

Extremely Disappointing Stay. Avoid if Possible. I usually don’t spend much time writing negative reviews, but this experience was so bad that it deserves attention. Service: It took 75 minutes to reheat a simple panini – completely unacceptable for any hotel standard. Breakfast: Mediocre at best. The orange juice tasted like powdered mix, eggs were poorly prepared, options were limited, cutlery was low quality, coffee was undrinkable, and even the granola was sticky and wet. Room Amenities: No complimentary water in the room, which is basic in most hotels. The hand soap quality is worse than what you’d find in a public restroom. Bathroom: Low water pressure, and the toilet leaked continuously without ever filling properly. Overall, the hotel lacks attention to detail and fails to meet even basic expectations of comfort and service. Please do yourself a favor and choose another hotel.

Very nice, safe hotel. Best complimentary breakfast ever!! So many options - healthy, hardy, delicious! So much better than any American hotel breakfast Ive ever had!

Esteban at checkin was delightful to talk with. It was our first time visiting the country and he answered all questions we had upon entering and we received a welcome gift for being Marriott Bonvoy Members. Because of this, we were introduced to Colombia’s local beer which was tasty. Our room was perfect and clean. We had a breathtaking view of the mountains and houses. The aesthetics of the hotel was sleek and comfortable. Plenty of seating areas in the lobby. Breakfast options were yummyyyyy and different options every morning and every breakfast attendant was attentive to our needs whether we wanted coffee or fresh eggs. Bartenders were sweet as well. I ordered carbonara pasta one day and it was absolutely delicious and creamy. I wish i got everyone’s name because they all deserve a shoutout. The location is about 20-30 minutes from Medellín which was perfect for me. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay and being so welcoming!

I have stayed at many Fairfield hotels around the world, and this is definitely one of the best. Upon arrival, the staff was very welcoming, and as an IHG Platinum member, I even received a welcome gift delivered to my room. As a joke, I mentioned that coffee wasn’t on the selection list, saying, "We are in Colombia, after all!" To my surprise, 15 minutes later, there was a knock on my door along with the freshly made ice cream I had selected, they also brought me a coffee as a thoughtful gesture. That’s a refreshing change from the usual convenience store junk food or the standard welcome bag with the same generic snacks. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious. Breakfast is outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety. The fruits are sweet and ripe, and there’s a good selection to suit different tastes. They offer freshly baked mini bread, croissants, and other pastries, as well as handmade cereal cups with different flavors. If you're visiting Medellín, this is definitely a great hotel to stay at. Enjoy your stay!

I stayed at Fairfield Medellin for 5 nights, during my check-in, the Front Desk, Luisa Ocampo, assisted me, who was cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. |Fairfield is within walking distance of the huge shopping mall, has many varieties of restaurants and food courts.|Throughout my stay during my breakfast Daniela Quintero has been serving me, she has an eye for details, and without asking, she will serve my favorite cappuccino and sunnyside-up eggs.|Housekeeping attendant Clara always cleaned my room perfectly. |All the staff at Fairfield Medellin are friendly and helpful, which adds value to the hotel.|Thank you and keep up the excellent job!
