Fairfield Inn & Suites O’Fallon, IL

I was having a terrible weekend when I visited! When I say the receptionist at the front desk name Heather went above and beyond, that is an understatement. she absolutely made me feel very welcomed and was very inviting. she was very attentive and made sure she did her best to accommodate any of my needs!! EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!! I have several options of hotels in the area to go to yet I will always pick this place simply because of their overall service. Even some of the cleaning crew i meet was hospitable!!

I stayed at this location since this past sunday 11/24 until today 11/26 in room 327 and my experience was not terrible but not all too good either. The customers service at the front desk was really quick, easy and the lady seemed very nice. When i lost my original hotel key, she quickly printed me off a new one and sent me on my way. The house keepers i walked past also were very sweet and nice. Everything worked fine as far as payment, elevators (only issue with elevator was the expiration date of inspection is 09/30/24 and it’s November…) , key cards to my room and a pretty cleaned room but my only real big issue was the shower head. It was terribly dirty and rusted. I stay not too far from this hotel and honestly, i didn’t even take a shower here during my stay because of how bad the shower head looked. My boyfriend and I were absolutely disgusted. I doubt they really do maintenance checks as far as those type of things but man was I disgusted. But otherwise everything else was a typical 3-star hotel experience, including the breakfast. I would recommend staying here but not if they are going to provide nasty shower heads.

Great overnight stay. Good location, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and nice hot breakfast before we departed. Sleep well, no noise and comfortable beds. Breakfast was still out at 950 and the lady that was just cleaning up was so sweet and let us grab a couple of things to go so we didn't have to make an extra stop for breakfast.

Positive: I liked the location of the hotel. Negative: Yes, getting calls from the front desk about a complaint from a guest below us. We were only walking to the restroom or to the refrigerator. The guest also used an object of some sort to constantly bang on the ceiling. This action affected our stay.

The hotel is in a prime location for activities and midway for my family in the Metro East / Illinois side and my boyfriend’s STL MO family. Plus if we have to go further out to my family further in Southern Illinois the proximity of highway is perfect as well as when we come in from Chicago. Clean rooms, I love the patio off the breakfast area that has lounge chairs and picnic tables. You are within walking distance of Starbucks and a couple restaurants. The electric car chargers are a nice addition, although I don’t have one, I do wish they didn’t take up as many spots in the front of the hotel. The last few times I’ve booked the hotel they have been at capacity but you don’t feel overcrowded at breakfast or using the pool and amenities. Love my second home when our family’s homes are full and we need a quiet spot.

Very good hotel easy check in room/hotel was clean. Had a good feel . Has a bar and free breakfast. 11 minutes from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport . I would stay here again.

We have stayed here twice. I always stay Marriott Bonvoy hotels and travel a lot for work. Clean and nice desk staff. But… I left my pajamas in the hotel. 💯 percent sure I left them behind the bathroom door. Call that evening after checkout when we get to the next place and they say they have them. I say I will pick them up on my way back through. Go out of the way to stop and they now say they don’t have them.. I know I left them and I know they said they had them. Just basic pjs but it’s the principle. What if it was something of more value? Lost my trust for sure. At least for this location. I still prefer Marriott but not this place.

I stay here regularly and each visit is wonderful. Heather, Mike, and the rest of the folks at the front desk are extremely helpful and have made each experience a comfortable stay. It’s a great location in O’Fallon. The rooms are always clean. You can walk to food or other shopping that’s close by. There are two electric car chargers out front too.

Had an excellent stay at the O'Fallon Fairfield Inn. The customer service was a 10/10. Rooms were clean and new. And there was a bar! The cherry on top was the free parking. I didn't have a problem with loud neighbors or lackluster housekeeping. Everything was great. I'd definitely stay again if visiting the area. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping centers, and if the free coffee isn't strong enough...there's a Starbucks nearby!

I last visited O'Fallon in late summer and stayed at the TownePlace Suites. For this trip, I went south of I-64 and stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. This four-year-old property features a beautiful lobby, a great workout room, free breakfast and an indoor pool. The rooms are clean and spacious, and we loved the glass shower in our bath. Mattresses and pillows were so-so. Glad our room was on the opposite side from the Interstate. So no road noise. As another Yelp reviewer stated, the walls between the rooms are like paper. We didn't have anyone next door until our final night, and we could hear everything being said next door! Like many extended stay hotels, they service your room every other day. As we checked in on a Tuesday, we were told our room would be cleaned on Thursday (Thanksgiving). When we discovered our room wasn't cleaned, I learned from the front desk that the housekeepers would only clean rooms that were being vacated. Not a big thing, but I wish the staffer who checked us in had communicated that.

The hotel is nicely updated , friendly staff, room is adequate BUT... IF you're hoping to get some sleep, children are running up & down the halls yelling after 9pm & staff won't stop them or dare say a peep to the parents about it. How sad & frustrating to drive all day to hope we could get some early shut eye. 9pm isn't too early to think parents OR employees could do their jobs OR be responsible AND have some respect that they're not entitled to act like brats on everyone else's time.

Way to go, Fairfield-O'Fallon Crew!!! What a delightful stay we had this past weekend! Alyssa was supremely pleasant, and highly professional! She has exceptional customer service skills and is well suited for her job! The same is true for Treasure! Treasure is a true treasure! They've restored my faith in the hospitality industry! Thank you staff for your service! The hotel was extremely inviting & clean! We literally had not one complaint about anything! Whenever we travel home to East St. Louis, this will be our go-to location!!!

Stayed here for 5 weeks after a storm damaged our house. Very clean, very friendly employees. Bonus is a bar with good drinks and good prices.

This place does not clean it's rooms, nor will they fix the problem. I could go into all the details, but what appeared to be pink barf was next to the bed (see picture) when we checked in. Real safety conscious in the COVID era.

Amazing place to stay the night. Super clean the breakfast is good not too many options but thats okay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be staying here every time I come to see my parents. Rooms were a great size just an all around great experience!

Walls are paper thin! Was up at 1am for over an hour as the people next to me wouldn't turn down there tv or be quiet. Place looked nice overall but you can hear everything through the thin walls. Not worth the trouble.

I'm a traveling healthcare worker and I was accused of smoking in my room. Not only was i falsely accused they charged my card and saw fit to tell my supervisor of their suspicions. I had to fight for my job and it's not until two days later they rescinded the charge because they had no proof ! I can't believe my Career was in jeopardy from irresponsible management. I will never return to this awful establishment in the future stay at the Drury !

I got off to a rough start with the night front desk clerk because of a problem in the room. In the morning, the front desk clerk Doniva (not sure of spelling) was wonderful and got in touch with hotel manager Noreen Sheraton. They gave me one night complimentary and moved me to a suite because the hotel was full. Noreen Sheraton went out of her way to help me and take care of the issue.

I have had family members stay here when visiting from out of town during the pandemic. Customer service has always been stellar. They have enjoyed the cleanliness of the new hotel. Wonderful restaurant options in the area.
