The Service was excellent! The Rooms were not brand new but clean spacious. - they’re renovated! Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but better than most. Reminded me of Holiday inn waffles, eggs ,sausage , & bacon. Lots of others items fruit , oatmeal etc . It was good got us going. The attendants were courteous and very attentive They kept everything fresh and hot and replenished! Terenice was Awesome 10 out of 10 😊

Our stay from July 6-8 was great. The manager was great who checked us in and upgraded our room to a suite which was wonderful. Great rate, used points, and had a good breakfast with a nice bar area which is rare for Fairfields. Front desk staff were all fantastic as well as the breakfast team. Highly recommended. The Manager also waived our parking fee when we asked. Great service and glad to be a lifetime gold member.

The staff had to be my absolute favorite. Sylvia from breakfast every morning she would say good morning, she even noticed when I wasn't down for breakfast for 1 day. For people notice the small things in such a short visit make the hotel stay so delightful. Room service was great, loved coming back to a nicely made bed. The front desk staff was always helpful, I dealt with multiple people but all around I was pleased. We will definitely stay again.

Honestly, clean hotel in a really good spot, and the the staff are awesome. Mauricio at the front desk really makes you feel welcome, and is super helpful. He took amazing care of us, giving us recommendations, giving us all the info, and always greeting us. Alex at the bar makes some good mixed vodka drinks. Had an amazing weekend thanks to them and the rest of the staff. Definitely recommend this hotel, and I’ll be coming back soon.

Stayed for two nights at the end of our vacation. Hotel staff was great, super helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. The only issues we had was the breakfast area was a mess in the morning, and the parking. Their lot is run by an outside company, and we were able to pay through the hotel per night, however you’re not guaranteed a spot and had a difficult time finding one at night. Both nights we had to park behind the next building along the side of the parking lot edge.

We've stayed 3 times in past 2 years. ||||The first was great, they had an executive assistant from corporate office on site for a monh or so. so. He was very professional and kept everyone on their toes. Exception service the while time.||||The last 2 times, minus the Corporate EA, were much different and unsatisfactory. Let's be frank, very little English is spoken there, both staff and guests. Staff were rude and dismissive.||||Breakfast is now under lock and key by as assigned staff. Seriously, to get a portion of breakfast entre', the staff has to unlock the tray and serve a single portion. WTH? Felt like kindergarten in Mexico.||||We won't be back. For a Marriott property, it's a disgrace. We responded thru their requested survey but .we never heard back. Clearly, no one there cares. ||||Adios Amigo!

We stayed for a week, we really enjoyed the accommodation. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, specially Maria and Mauricius from the front desk..who helped me a lot. Place is very clean, we have room service every day. They will acknowledge your concerns promptly. The breakfast was great!!! I will recommend this place 100%!!!

Yelp
Just checked out after a lovely two-day stay. Front desk staff members were so friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast! Easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, including Café Istanbul 34 where the food was delicious and the decor was on point. The free shuttle to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure was an added bonus!

Yelp
During our recent Orlando trip we stayed a couple nights at the Fairfield Inn close to Disney Springs. The hotel had modern amenities and nice lobby. The rooms were a lot smaller than we expected. The bathrooms were also outdated.

Yelp
I recently stayed at this Fairfield Inn for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I reserved a room via the Marriott website, which was quick and easy. Overall, I would say this stay was ok and worth the price I paid. The hotel was pretty clean, and I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Please note that parking is $16 a day. It looks as if it's ran by a third party because the signs ask you to use a QR code to pay. We did not do that. We had parking added to our hotel stay. If you do this as well, please make sure they give you a tag to put in your car with the expiration date of the date you will be leaving. The good: The location of this hotel was fantastic. It is in walking distance to most restaurants and stores. It is right next to Icon Park which has the large Ferris wheel and the tall swings ride. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean upon arrival. The bad: (1) The fridge did not remain cold and it leaked. (2) If you have problems and need to contact the front desk, you will have no luck. We ran out of towels and needed replacements and for a full 20 minutes the front desk phone just kept ringing. I kept calling off and on and would not get an answer. We went down to the front desk to ask for towels, they said they would take care of it, but nothing happened. We went back downstairs AGAIN to ask for towels and they finally went to go get them. I even tried calling housekeeping from the room phone before going downstairs and that was no luck as well. (3) The breakfast was chaotic. Since we visited during Thanksgiving weekend, I was under the impression they would be prepared for the volume of people. It wasn't so much about the volume of people, but the disorganization of how people had to get their breakfast. I did like that the eggs and protein were manually served. That helped with portion sizes for sure. However, trying to make waffles and get drinks were disorganized. They literally had six options for juice and only one was working. Overall, I would stay again to see if it's a better visit during a non-holiday weekend he can't beat the location.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very professional and accommodating. As Titanium Elite members, we enjoy staying at Marriott properties. Well done.

Yelp
We had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites! We stayed for two nights and were in town doing a variety of activities, from parks to wildlife watching. After a flight change for weather, they allowed us to extend our stay an extra day for the same rate, which was very nice. The staff worked with us to find a good solution. The rooms were clean and pretty standard, with great showers and big bedrooms. Breakfast was free and included. It wasn't spectacular, but standard and what you would expect. The biggest issue was parking. The lot was small and it was hard to find a spot, which costs $16 a day. We parked for free at the nearby Icon garage, which resulted in a bit of a walk. Overall it was a pretty nice hotel stay, with nothing exceptional but no issues either.

Yelp
JUST A HEADS UP!!! I made a reservation and received a confirmation. Good thing I read it. I was surprised to see they charge you $16.00/day for parking. Thats an additional $112.00 for a 7 day stay. I immediately called to confirm and to see if you can self park. No you can't. I cancelled my reservation.

Yelp
I found the hotel on the "hotel tonight app" it was a nice basic room for the price, it had all the basics and was clean, perfect to just come back and sleep after a long day. They offered complimentary breakfast as well... if you aren't picky and just want somewhere clean and comfy i would recommend

Yelp
Being a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, I've stayed here in past between work trips because of the convenience, price, and free parking (which is hard to find these day). Much to my surprise, they now charge $14 plus surcharge and tax to park here. Not cool to do to Bonvoy Elite members. I never loved the hotel but the suite style rooms are nicer than I remember. Full fridge and microwave in kitchen is a plus. Location isn't bad for tourists with I-Drive restaurants everywhere. I just think paying for parking is a deal breaker at a hotel you're loyal to. It's not an event we are attending. $16 all in for 10 hrs in a room. Definitely not the worst of hotels but I'll be looking for different places in the future.

Yelp
I moved over here after having booked a Hampton Inn which was so moldy I could not bear to stay a night in it. So, I wasn't planning on staying here but it was an emergency solution. Overall, while the property is older, I found it to be fine. Pros: --Good location, next to Icon Park. --Nice front desk staff. --Overall well-run (expect housekeeping, see below) --Not new, but in decent condition. --They had the World Cup on! Cons: --Not enough parking at all. --Housekeeping did not change towels as promised. --Stairs at awkward places on the side of the building. Why don't American hotels ever have stairs near the elevator? Oh that's right: because Americans never take the stairs. If you can get beyond the parking situation or you didn't drive here, this should suit fine. It's not brand-new, it's not fancy, but there's a real effort to provide quality service. I complained that housekeeping did not exchange my towels and the front desk was very concerned and indeed has followed up with me regarding making that right and remedying the situation. And it's right by Icon Park and near other attractions.

Yelp
I like staying at Marriott hotels so i booked this location for our trip to universal. Pros- conveniently less than a mile away from the parks close to international drive for food and site seeing . The lobby was nice, big modern. Room beds were comfortable. Cons- parking was none existent they have a sign that says Valet so i walked in to get service..it was false. The person at the desk said "get creative" -__- I suggest arriving early securing parking and maybe uber. Room had a musty smell when we arrived. Ac was set to 73 so room was semi warm and most likely reason for smell. Beds had almost a humid feel at first. Bathroom shower was super outdated very small while standing showering the bath curtain sticks to you super uncomfortable. We had a very nice view of the top of a building and a back alley with trash. Oh and our room window looks as they let lotion stick to it for around a century. Needles to say i probably wont book this location again.

Yelp
The room we are in REAKS of mold. Don't know if we will opt to stay more than a night. Wouldn't have stayed tonight except we arrived at midnight.
google avatar

Darryl ..

Yelp
The only issue I have with this place is that they put me in room (418) facing the palm trees. So i was unable to look out the window the entire stay

Yelp
Location and rooms are decent. Breakfast was nice and had a good selection. However, was very disappointing. Hotel guests have to pay $14 a day for parking, and there ends up being NO parking available after returning from the days outing. The parking is used up by other attendees using the local attractions. The staff was courestous but failed on the following through with the room credit and added rewards due to an issue on our stay. There is no jacuzzi as one would think (most Fairfields & Marriots do) This hotel had filled theirs in with concrete and left the controls exprosed.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place was absolutely disgusting. We stayed here in March for one night as a hold-over before our Disney vacation and the room we stayed in then had clearly not been cleaned well. I found a fingernail - a WHOLE - fingernail right beside my bed. The bathroom felt "filthy,". As we checked out, the staff apologized but encouraged us to return after their alleged remodel. Timidly and now very regrettably, we booked another night prior to our next vacation stay. There was no improvement, and dare I say - things were WORSE. The first thing that hit us was the musty stench emanating from the lobby. We walked down to the elevator to check into our room where we were greeted with a skunk smell which led to a discussion with our kids as to why they should not do drugs. And note - that smell NEVER dissipated. Neither did the must. We got to our room and it was damp and musty. The carpet was damp. The sheets were damp. It was hard to focus on anything other than the stink. We discovered some items that were left by prior guests. Again indicating that the room had not been cleaned well. Members of our party in another room were welcomed after a long day of travel with a plugged toilet. Which was unplugged, then immediately plugged again - which resulted in them being moved to another room. To get out of the stinky building, we decided to go swimming in the pool. Which was situated between a dumpster and a decapitated, rotting bird. Good heavens - the smell! But that almost pales in comparison to the condition of the pool. Tree seed pods were everywhere. The hot tub was closed and covered. It was simply not conducive to enjoying it in any way. Bottom line - don't stay here. There are so many other hotels to choose from. This one will just make you sad.

Yelp
A.W.F.U.L Terrible service, smelled like weed, beds weren't made and it was just disgusting. Would not recommend.

Yelp
We were assigned this hotel during a stay here for a soccer tournament. It's ok but it wouldn't be my first choice if I had to pick. The room is basic and functional. The beds are uncomfortable and lacking in blankets and the AC unit cranks on and off throughout the night which wakes us up constantly. The shower is strong and fairly hot but there is mold on the ceiling. Laundry room is fine..two washers, two dryers. The little mini market is insufficient. Breakfast was fine.

Yelp
First impressions are definitely lasting ones. Nestor, at the front desk, is the embodiment of stellar service. He was impeccably dressed with a tan tailored single breasted suit with a purple fitted shirt and black loafers that were shined and dazzling like new money. He was not robotic but charismatic and tailored his welcome and interactions to each guest to make it more relationship building. This gentleman serves Fairfield well with his look and personality. The decor is modern and the textiles chosen for this location is vibrant and artistic. The rooms are spacious, well kept and spotless. The staff was amazing and courteous in every area of the establishment. I often judge the overall stay at hotels based upon the comfort of the bed and (my number 1 expectation) the design and look of the bathroom. It's like buying a house, if the bathroom doesn't wow me then it's no can do. Needless to say I was wowed! Bed was a cloud of comfort and it felt like home. I didn't want to get out of it. The bathroom was spacious and it even met specifics of ADA. The tub was quite accommodating for any size person and the water pressure was great, and the plumbing was powerful. The morning breakfast spread was delicious. There was fresh fruit, waffles, various types of eggs, juices, bacon, sausage and more for guests to feed their need. The dining area was accommodating, staff very constantly circulating to assist and refresh the area after each table cleared. The check out was swift and done with a smile and room temperature or refrigerated bottled water provided upon your departure. I was invited back and warmly wished a great stay in their city and safe travels. I will go out of the way to stay at this location again when in Orlando. I definitely recommend checking in at this location if you desire a courteous, clean and comfortable stay.

Yelp

Yelp
Location was convenient for attending the International Christian Film Festival. We were volunteering at ICFF, our lodging fell through, so we had to find last minute lodging. The location is good. Restaurants nearby and other attractions within walking distance. The lobby was nice, check in went well, and elevators were clean. Parking lot is small. To get a parking, get there early, leave your car parked there, and walk if possible. We parked on the side of the hotel both nights. We stayed in room 309. Our room was not what we are accustomed to staying in. My husband is a silver elite member. Lately, I have noticed Marriott buying up motels, transforming the lobbies, elevators, and other areas, putting in the signature headboards, and doing slight changes to tiles or countertops. It is a cheap remodeling job with mediocre motel style rooms. My husband was immediately turned off as we opened the hotel room door. The door had a huge gap which felt unsecured. The bathroom door seemed like it had been flooded because the bottom popped out and ridges could be seen. The pillows were flat. I noticed Marriott is showing customer reviews only instead of the hotel tiers levels. Marriott is snatching up motels, placing their logos on them, remodeling the lobbies, and put very little thoughts in the rooms. The name Marriott means something and I need someone to take pride in that. I have shared pictures of other locations, but this time I did not take pictures.

Yelp
I have stayed at Marriotts so many times. All my stays have always been great. My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend. This Marriott was close to where we needed to be but the bed was awful. It was definitely an old mattress but it was never even when it was brand new a decent mattress. I have been icing my back all day. My husband didn't sleep at all and ended up sleeping on the floor on a blanket which was like thick sheet. The only thing good was the pillows & the free breakfast waffles. I was entirely convinced the room wasn't even vacuumed some black long hairs everywhere making me want to vomit (I hate hair anywhere) The worst thing was there was zero parking when we got back from our venue. The staff at the front desk was amazing, helpful and super customer service oriented. We could not have asked for a smoother check in and out & having help answering our questions and directions. The front desk people were just wonderful. The decor was new and nice. I have never had a back problem before we are not over weight but that bed was awful. I wouldn't sleep on it again for free sadly.

Yelp
First bad thing was the parking, they don't have a lot of parking space. The rooms and the inside I feel like it's a bit outdated. The fridge in the room looks really old I tried to open the door of the fridge and I almost took out the whole fridge. There's music loud outside at 2AM. The TV is really old, doesn't have evern netflix. The hotel really needs an update, the shower weren't that clean either. You can't adjust the ac. I chose this hotel because of the Marriot brand, they never disappoint but this time was a real disappointment. Sorry!
google avatar

Yelp
The staff at this establishment were great. Courteous, helpful, and on top of things. The hotel itself though is something that needs to be worked on. I don't know if all rooms were like mine, but mine had a musty stale smell to it that would never go away. On top of that, the bathroom fan wasn't functioning for who knows how long that it caused the ceiling of the restroom to start growing mold. They swapped it out one of the days I was away, but it's nasty to think how long that has been there. The fitness center has two treadmills and an elliptical. There are weights, but the set isn't complete. The location is near Universal and a lot of eateries, but I'd look elsewhere until they completely remodel.

Yelp
No soap and no parking! We arrived late in the evening after spending the day at Universal Studios. There was no parking available in the small lot they had for the property. I was told I could parking in the dirt lot across the street (it was full) or in the alley behind the hotel. Fortunately, I was able to find a spot near a street lamp so the light could provide a little more security. We were all eager to take showers after a long day on amusement rides, but was disappointed there was no soap or shampoo in our room. I thought it was an oversight, so I went to the front desk to ask for some. They said they didn't have any soap; it was on BACKORDER. How can the hotel NOT HAVE SOAP in their guest rooms, especially coming off a pandemic? I later found out they are switching the way they provide soap in rooms. Fine, but in the meantime it is NOT OK to not to provide soap. We skipped the free breakfast the next morning because if the hotel management feels it is OK not to have soap for guests to wash their hands, what else are they OK with. Add to this disaster, the air conditioning unit that sounded like a freight train in our room and a light switch that didn't work in the bathroom. We stay exclusively at Marriott properties, but we will never stay here again.

Yelp
Was not impressed. Very friendly front desk gentleman however that is the only reason for the 2 starts. Only one elevator was working so waiting 20 mins to get to the first floor, tons of little tiny bugs all over ( pretty sure it's not bed bugs but still gross) the floor lamp was broken and held up by the chair, so when moved it fell on my mom's head, the A/C was loud and hard to control ( room was either freezing or hot as hell), and the maid service did only half the room ( the trash can was up on the table, no new towels, and sheets were just thrown back on the bed, not made). Soo in short, or long... look elsewhere!

Yelp
Today we checked out of our hotel and have returned home after our week long vacation to Universal. Our trip was booked on the Universal website and we picked Fairfield Inn & Suites as our hotel, which was on their website as a Universal parter hotel. This hotel shouldn't be a partner hotel. Our room was absolutely disgusting! The room smelled from a bad mildew smell like there was severe water damage. The ceiling in our room also had signs of water damage and 3/4 of it looked like it had black mold. I also heard that several other guests had the same issue and changing rooms still had the same problem. I knew I didn't pick a 5 star hotel but this was absolutely ridiculous. I've stayed at other Fairfield Inn & Suites before and never had any problems. The other big issue with this hotel is their shuttle service to Universal. They are using Crown. They only have a 9:15 departure from the hotel every day and on top of the they were late every single day so we could not take advantage of our early access to the park. As far as the vehicles they are using, it really made the hotel look even worse as well as Universal allowing this at a partner hotel. They were using very old vans and very old mini bus. Most had no AC and some of the vehicles had check engine lights on, oil lights on, and tire lights on. I had to worry every day that my family would be safe. We will never return to this hotel ever again and suggest you do the same. Stay away from this hotel!

Yelp
Me and my family stayed here for one night. Finding a clean hotel is crucial for us, because I am very allergic to dust and mite. So I called prior to arrive and informed the hotel crew about my allergy situation. The room was very clean. Also staff members were very friendly and warming with clients. Specially, Farrah Mezoudi from All Guest Services, she was very sweet and caring. Great experience.

Yelp
Had a fantastic stay here. Staffs are friendly, rooms are clean daily and the room itself is pleasant and isn't fun down like other places. Compared to the Holiday Inn and other places I have stayed, they serve real breakfast here. There's a pool and a place to get your laundry done. If you're looking to book a place for your next vacay to Disney world or any other places around Orlando, this is the place to reserve. Definitely would come back here again.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
For a Fairfield this place is super solid! Renovated lobby and rooms but the lobby smelled a little musty or moldy. The check in process was not very welcoming to be honest. No greeting until it was our turn to step up to the counter and I witnessed some impatience from the Assistant Manager who was challenged with helping a couple with little English ability. The rooms were pretty nice and for the price no complaints aside from the very cold reception at check in.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
We chose this hotel because it's one of the few in Orlando that don't charge you to park there. Turns out that because there's no parking available anyway... staff suggested parking at parking garage connected to the ICON which is probably a 10 minute walk away from hotel itself. Didn't feel safe making the walk in the dark.. the least the could do is offer some kind of shuttle service... Pool need to be resurfaced, very rough/sharp edges and bottom. The staff were very friendly, room was clean and larger than expected. Breakfast was decent.

Yelp
I don't expect to hear anything from this company after this review. Honestly, the room was pretty good. Customer service is pretty lacking here though. Here it goes. Pros: You are less than 10 minutes from Universal. The Orlando Eye is literally right next to the hotel and is close to all the restaurants. I stayed in the executive suite, and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is good and has almost every option you can think of (except pancakes, but they do have waffles). It is from 6am-10am which is pretty convenient. Cons: Here's where things went wrong for me. I arrived at the hotel at 10:20am. Now I know I'm not going to be able to check in but what the heck, we are going to Universal anyway and taking the hotel shuttle. I specifically asked if I could take the shuttle to the park and the concierge said yes and the next one came at 11am. Alright. Cool. So I waited 40 minutes and never saw the shuttle come by. At 11am I asked what happened to the shuttle and she THEN proceeds to tell me that I need a pass from the guy thats about 10 feet from her at an attractions desk and that it picks up at the road in front of the hotel and not by the loby. WTF?! Why would you tell me this after I missed the shuttle and not when I checked to see if my suite was ready?!? So I had to take an Uber to the park and wasted an hour of park time. I. Was. Pissed. I called the hotel from the park at 7:30pm on my way home to ask if the shuttle is still running. The concierge told me that the shuttle ran until midnight and that I did not need a return pass. I waited and the stupid thing never came. Once again I had to take an Uber back, costing me more than I had wanted, as the hotel has a FREE SHUTTLE. When I checked out the concierge (another person) asked how everything was. I explained my disappointment at the situation and she apologized but nothing much else after handing me my statement. Overall: The room was nice. Breakfast was nice. Customer service sucked a big one. This wasn't your first day...you KNOW to tell people who ask you about the shuttle to get a pass and where to go to be picked up.

Yelp
The hotel is newly opened , so the place is clean and nice. I've been informed that the place was once Holiday Inn property, but the renovation is so thorough (fire escape stairs area is even redone). My check-in process was smooth but the level of customer service at the front was still not the the best I've expect from Marriott brand hotels. I've expected "Welcome to Fairfield Inn by Marriott", and "Thank you for a royal customer", but what I heard were, "checking in?" and "your credit card?". So why 5-star rating? To be honest, my initial rating was 4.0-star but as I spent more nights/time at the property all the way to check out, 4 days in total, the rating improved. Here are three key positive events: 1. The property's Dir. of Sales, Ms. Page helped me solved an issue I had during check out. I was impressed by her quick approach to a resolution. I had to ask for her help though because a person at front desk was not going out to help me. 2. BF area staff are very helpful and customer focused. Typically BF staff would simply start shut down the area 5min before scheduled time. At this location, the staff would start cleaning at the time of closing, and also ask hotel guests if they need anything before the shut down. Simple gesture yet very nice and pleasing. I did wish the menu would change though... Sausage patty every day for four days was a bit fatty ;-) 3. House keeping staff - Very friendly and helpful. It was pleasure talking to them on elevator.

Yelp
Pleasant extended stay I stayed 7 nights at an average cost of $145/night, but it was close to Thanksgiving season so the last few days were more higher than normal. A few of the days were priced at $99 which was pretty good. The hotel is clean and has all the basic amenities you need. .small gym, pool, free wifi, free computers downstairs for use. Staff are friendly. .one of them even let me refrigerate some leftovers in their break room, which was nice. Conveniently located 5 mins from the convention center, and the airport, theme parks like sea world and aquatica, and both premium outlets and malls all seem to be within a 20 min drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I'd give this place five stars for being consistent. Fairfield suites are all very very similar. (As expected) I don't expect 5 star accommodations...I mean you get what you paid for. The bedding was clean, there were some minor scratches on furniture, lobby area nicely lighted and clean, free coffee in the lobby, breakfast was solid (nothing spectacular but a pretty good spread) Location is awesome. Walkable to many restaurants like Carrabba's and couple Orlando carnival like rides. Also super close to universal. Front desk very fast and courteous. Parking plenty and free. Sometimes consistency is more important than stellar. I can expect it to be just what I needed which is a one night sleep.

Yelp
The location is what attracted me to this hotel. Unfortunately, that is all is offered. The internet is complementary whether you have Marriott Rewards or not, but it cuts out constantly. Also, if you have a cell phone their internet signal blocks 4G connection so you HAVE to use their wi-fi to get any signal. The rooms are standard enough, but the beds are too much on the firm side. I would expect this at a $30/night Interstate 75 motel, but not at a property that is supposed to be 3 stars. I can live with this. The thing that upset me the most was the lack of parking. There are just not enough spaces for a hotel of this size. Many times you are required to park in a no-parking zone on the south side of the hotel property. I inquired about this to the staff, who just shrugged his hands and walked away. No apologies or explanations or anything. Great service, really. Also have to mention the pool area. No heat from the spa. Bubble jets don't even work. J.W. would be proud. I've stayed at other Marriott properties. You can do better than this. Really.

Yelp
Hotel staff were fantastic, great check in and check out experience. Also terrific help when I requested to change rooms. First room I was given had a terrible antiseptic odor. New room had it as well, but not nearly as bad. Wish there would have been a way to open a window. I've stayed at several excellent hotels of this brand, this one was meh. Not awful by any means, but not great either.

Yelp
This hotel is musty smelling in every room. The rooms are filthy and noisy. I don't recommend it. The side that faces i360 is noisy on Friday nights because of Latina Fiesta on i-drive friday nights. Did not know this and the party ends at 2am. The universal shuttle is not air-conditioned, standing room only on busy days, and is one of 4 hotels serviced so it will take 20-30 minutes to get to the park. The pictures should give you an idea of what to expect in the bathroom.

Yelp
Lacking in air conditioning, shower leaked, no channel guide. It's your typical business stay hotel.

Yelp
A great place to stay if you are going to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld or hanging out in the I-Drive area of touristyville Orlando. Free breakfast includes yogurt, waffles, lemon loaf, cinnamon bread, bagels, scrambled eggs, pork sausage, turkey sausage, coffee, mix and some other items. Pretty good breakfast considering its free. The hotel itself is newer so all of the in room furniture is nice and the hotel is extremely clean. The staff was also incredibly friendly. The only reason I didn't reward 5 stars is parking. If you come late from the parks, 10pm or later, good luck finding a spot. Chances are you will need to parallel park in the back towards the restaurants and walk 3-4 minutes to the hotel. They should consider parking passes for guests.

Yelp
We were in the area for a convention and the hosting hotel was already booked, so we decided to stay here. Quite frankly, I'm much happier we ended up here away from all the hustle and bustle of that hotel. The free breakfast was pretty impressive. I opted to fill up there before heading over to Rosen Shingle Creek. My room was clean and spacious and the staff were very attentive to our needs during our stay. Since the hotel only had about six floors, I never had to walk very far to go anywhere. We never had an issue with parking, but their lot isn't the largest. The location is most definitely prime real estate. We were only two miles from our convention and within ten minutes of almost all of our general necessities. I would stay here again.

Yelp
I had stayed at this location every September for a night for the past 5 years or so when visiting Universal and always had a great stay. The experience was totally soured though by a new $7/night parking fee. I assumed this would only be charged if you had a vehicle you were parking (I did not). Turns out you are charged regardless if you have a vehicle or not. This is a blatant cash grab and I will never stay here again out of principle.

Yelp
Do NOT stay here. I am not a complained but will attach photos for your own eyes. Shower bar was coming out of the wall; there was a bagel and stray pills on top of the refrigerator; moldy jelly beans; a two inch screw that got stepped on; and a moldy baby bottle. Absolutely disgusting as the room was clearly not cleaned. Wonder who slept in the sheets before me......

Yelp
I really like this hotel. Very affordable perfect for a quick getaway vacation, the staff is great, the rooms are nice just wished the beds were a little more comfortable. But this place is really affordable and you get free breakfast. Everything is really clean as well. Will definitely be staying here whenever I come for a mini weekend vacation to the parks.

Yelp
This was my third time staying here and usually it's always been a pleasant experience. But this time it was not good. I got a king size bedroom and the minute we checked in the ac was not working. Guy came and said we have to manually adjust on the ac unit instead of by the wall. The ac still after that would come On and off every ten mins and the fan we couldn't get to stay on. My wife likes to sleep with fan noise. Also the curtains don't block all the sunlight so at 7 am you got the sun in your face. Hannibal at the front desk offered some rewards card with some points for my in obviously. I would have liked maybe a 10-20 dollar refund since we were sweating all night with no ac instead of some rewards card. I think that was a poor management of customer service.

Yelp
After staying in an over priced and under delivering hotel at Universal Studios the Fairfield was great. Larger room, clean, friendly helpful staff, free shuttle to Universal Studios (but don't go there, it sucks), and a great free breakfast. With everyone in Orlando financially violating you at every turn it's nice to at least have a hotel that doesn't. I've become a fan of Fairfield and will make them a first choice going forward.

Yelp
I booked through Expedia, so everything was ready at check-in. The room was moderately sized, with clean bed, clean carpets, and clean bathroom. Breakfast was complimentary with all the basics: breads, proteins (eggs and sausage/bacon), dairy (milk, yogurt), and fresh fruit, and juices. We also took advantage of their offerings by packing these as snacks for our theme park-filled days! There are no coin machines in the laundry room, but the front desk was very helpful to exchange our cash to quarters. We were sad we could not take advantage of the swimming pool, as it was raining on most days and we were dead tired at the end of each day. Rooms were always cleaned and orderly upon our return each day. The staff are all friendly, as they all greet you as you pass them in the hall or while entering or exiting the building. The location was great, as the commute to either Universal Studios or Disney World was very short and easy that I didn't even need Google Maps after day 3 (we stayed 6 days total). It is also within walking distance to ICON Orlando 360 for a quick bite, Walgreens trip, or just nighttime stroll. You get what you pay for (don't expect luxury or plush robes), and they do it well. I'd certainly recommend it

Yelp
I think I've probably found my budget hotel for theme park weekends in this Fairfield. I went for the two queens room for $93/night (AAA Discount what up) on a November weekend. Not bad for holiday time. Andrew at the front desk was very kind to everyone who was checking in, including us. I always appreciate that, so thank you! The rooms were great. You don't get that stuffy three-star vibe when you walk in. The furniture is more modern, beds are plush, flat screen tv and mini fridge/microwave-always a plus. I'm not a shower curtain lover, but the bathroom was spotlessly clean (hallelujah) and Fairfield uses Pantene products for cleansing. Complimentary breakfast consisted of eggs and sausage, your typical cereals, yogurts, bagels and muffins, and (best part) a waffle maker yay! Felt like undergrad again. And free coffee/tea station all day and night. I didn't use the gym this time, but passing by it looked decent. A bit small but it would've done the job. The outdoor pool was small as well, but cute. I will note that parking was terrible. They don't have enough spaces for a booked hotel so we had to leave our car parked behind the hotel near the pool...a little inconvenient. And after a certain hour of the night (I forget which) you need your room key to get back into the hotel. Overall, I felt this hotel was the best it could be without being luxury. A+ Fairfield.

Yelp
Pros: Shuttle to Universal, ticket center in the lobby, good location near iDrive 360 with good options for food and entertainment. Free breakfast will put food in your belly albeit standard fare and not all that good. Clean room, no bugs, totally adequate. Cons: Small details. The worst pillows ever, flat and lumpy and just terrible. When the Mears website was down and we asked for help getting a taxi to the airport, front desk attendant said: "Have you ever heard of Uber?" Ticket desk attendant told us to take the green trolley to SeaWorld but you need the red/yellow trolley. The musty smell mentioned by other reviewers is real. Super small pool, hot tub smells mildewy. Overall: if all you want to do is parks and sleep, this is fine. It isn't a resort hotel and the amenities and price reflect that. Good location, acceptable room, no frills. PS: If you're hoping for the great Marriott bed you don't get it here. Standard hotel mattress.

Yelp
Im here right now. I pull in the parking lot its dark no lights or anything. I found a spot I almost got hit by a car because the person couldn't see, now i got a bruise on my leg. I get inside the hotel its people everywhere in the lobby. Im asking the girl at the front desk what's going on. She says the power is out. I asked her another question she got so aggressive with me. This was a terrible experience. Especially being its my first time staying at a fairfield inn.
