The staff is very friendly and nice. Ms. Kathy was so kind and patient with us to find a better rate. Ms. King was so helpful, although it was a holiday and no maintenance service person available at that time, she fixed a the shower handle by herself to make sure that we stayed completely after a long day at the beach 🏖️ It is one of the best branches I have ever been 👌

Our stay was pleasant. We were able to do an early check in. We were upgraded to a bigger room (ADA), which was nice because I booked for a king bed 1 sofa bed originally and we were a family of 5. Room and bed were clean and cozy. The only thing was the shower. It was difficult to figure out. It also made noise if you don't get it to the right setting. Water pressure was okay. Refrigerator is timed for 2 hrs then it shuts off. Shower curtain is very short which made a puddle of mess as you finish. The drive to the strip is about 10-15 minute's depending on traffic. Its a bit of a tricky right turn into the facility from the main road, so slow down as youll likely miss the turn. Overall we enjoyed the pool, breakfast and laundry amenities.

I don't typically leave reviews, but our experience with this hotel in PCB was one of the worst we've ever had. The room we were initially given was for my husband, myself, and 3 young kids. We arrived in the evening, quick dropped our bags in the room and left for dinner that night. When we returned, I noticed drops of water falling from the ceiling and realized the ceiling and walls were coated with condensation- they clearly hadn't been maintaining a safe, controlled temperature or humidity level within their hotel. While we were taking a closer look at our room, we noticed the lamp shade between both beds was covered in mold. I refused to have our kids sleep in a room with visible mold and my husband went to the desk where a very sweet employee worked hard to find us a safer room option. He first took my husband to a room that had black mold on the ceiling, he turned that room down, and eventually we were given a room that had no visible mold but the AC unit was very weak- we had it all the way on low and it clearly wasn't running as it should have been. The next morning, we went to reception and requested a full refund, we were only refunded parking and $100 with the receptionist unable to help us any further than that. I don't even care about the refund, I'm upset that there are at least a portion of these rooms unsafe for people to stay in yet they are putting customers in them. We were extremely disappointed with the whole experience, this Fairfield needs a mold inspection before renting out any more rooms to people.

Rooms met all our requirements, except for a kettle (being from UK, that's a MUST 🤣) Good view out, location is about 20 minutes walk from the beach & has all the necessary shopping within a few mins of drive. Staff was super polite. Loved our stay at this hotel

Not What I Expected from a Marriott I stayed here from July 23–26, and honestly, it was the worst Marriott experience I’ve had. Location (4/5): Can’t complain—right on the strip and close to places like Pineapple Willy’s and WonderWorks. Super convenient. Service (3.5/5): Just okay. Different front desk staff every day, and our room was only cleaned once in four days—after we asked twice. We were told rooms are cleaned every other day or at the end of your stay, but neither happened. Room (1/5): This was the biggest issue. Our first room (209) smelled like mildew and felt damp—beds were literally wet when we put our bags down. We switched to room 211, but the humidity and smell were just as bad. It felt hot, sticky, and uncomfortable. We had to go out and buy blankets just to sleep. When we called for more from the front desk, they came empty-handed and told us the beds weren’t damp, just “cold”… even though the air was blowing warm. Noise: On nights 3 and 4, there was constant noise from the floor above—thumping and stomping throughout the day and late into the night. Really disappointed overall. I usually trust Marriott, but this location missed the mark in a big way.

Our family stayed at this hotel on Saturday, July 12th, checking out on Sunday, July 13th. During our stay, our daughter accidentally left behind a pink corduroy stuffed cat named Catty. While we take full responsibility for our own belongings, we were hopeful that the hotel staff would show some empathy and urgency in helping us locate an item with deep sentimental value. Instead, we were met with poor communication, contradictory information, and complete indifference. We had to call multiple times just to get basic updates—none of which were ever initiated by the hotel, despite being promised callbacks. Each person we spoke with seemed unaware of the situation, requiring us to start from scratch every time. We were eventually told by the front desk that our housekeeper, Cindy, had only stripped the sheets but never completed cleaning the room that day. We believe Catty was wrapped in those sheets. We were also told the room was not occupied again after our checkout, making it even more frustrating that nothing was found. Worse, when we spoke with management, their focus shifted to how we knew the housekeeper’s name rather than addressing the issue at hand. The manager was cold, condescending, and showed zero compassion for the situation or our daughter’s distress. What started as an honest attempt to recover a lost item turned into a deeply disappointing experience with a hotel staff that lacked not only professionalism but basic human decency. We hope others never have to endure the same lack of care we received.

The room was reasonably fine. Not the usual good experience I get at Marriott properties. We stayed 4 nights and they only serviced our room once. And barely cleaned anything. No towels in the gym. The pool was both lame and a little dirty. No not water the last two days - some issue with the city water supply, so not entirely their fault. Some friends stayed at the Homewood Suites nearby and it was way nicer. The breakfast was typical hotel buffet but not too much variety in the selections. Some days it wasn't refreshed quickly which was tough when the crowds of people arrived for breakfast. A 10 minute drive to the beach areas. So the location wasn't bad as long as you didn't mind driving and parking. Lastly, the parking fee is ridiculous considering the location. A total junk fee.

Checked in after spending most of the day at the beach. Went straight to the shower to discover that the water was lukewarm at best. Called the desk to ask if there was a problem. Desk agent said she would check. No response after 30 minutes, called again. No answer at the desk. Messages the desk-no response. Went back downstairs and was told they were waiting for a part to come in to fix the water situation. After reading other reviews I see this is a chronic problem here. If you are going to lie to the customer, at least try to make it convincing. |There is also a $10 dollar a day parking fee. |The hotel was clean and comfortable otherwise but I won’t be returning to this location.

Yelp
The service folks at this hotel are some of the friendliest and most accommodating out there. I have stayed here twice and both times have received superior service each time. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The front desk folks seem to really care about guest experience.

Yelp
Had an overnight stay here for a work trip and it was affordable and clean. The staff were amazing especially Taylor from Alabama. The grounds were in proper order and very accommodating. I would definitely stay again!

Yelp
Listen, this particular job is thankless but I feel the need to shoutout for their superb presentation and quality of a normally mediocre thing.....the continental breakfast here is amazing. I know that's a word you would not normally associate with hotel chain breakfast, but I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the amount of variety and the freshness. I saw a quick glimpse of the elusive continental chef and didn't get a chance to say how happy I was but I feel like he would probably think I was taking the piss. The front desk staff was very kind at check in and the room was nice and clean. No one is ever excited to wake up at 6am, except for me at this hotel.

Yelp
Staff was wonderful. Rooms were cleaned. Pool and gym were what I'd expect for a hotel. Breakfast was typical hote breakfast. Would stay again.

Yelp
At check-in, the front desk clerk was on a lengthy phone call when I walked in. No problem, my timing was bad. The bad part was, the manager was sitting at his desk talking to another employee for the entire 5 minutes I stood there waiting. He looked up at me a few times, but didn't get off his butt to assist. Either get up and help guests or close your office door. Noisy rooms and moldy bathrooms. The hotel is sandwiched between two highways, so street noise is heard from rooms front & back. The walls are paper thin - I heard every sneeze, cough, conversion, toilet flush, shower, stomping feet, dropped toilet seat and slammed door. To make matters worse, the walls had banging pipes/mechanical noises behind the toilet. When will hotel architects, builders & owners realize guests want quiet? The bathroom ceiling had black mold. Cleaning crew HINT - look up ! Covid protocols resulted in breakfasts being cancelled. Instead they have some quicky-mart to go food. Budget hotel at a budget price. Management needs a kick in the pants and to perform some cleaning QC inspections.

Yelp
For the second year in a row, I've stayed at this hotel to attend a lacrosse tournament. Last year, my room was not cleaned during my stay, so this year I specifically typed the request in my reservation, and verbally asked the attendant when I checked in, to ensure that my room was cleaned each day. I was assured it would be done. After being at the tournament all day, we returned to a room that had not been cleaned. Front desk sent up fresh towels as a consolation. I will choose an alternate location in the future; one that can honor my simple request. As a working mom, having the room cleaned is partly what makes this trip a vacation for me. Also, the breakfast is very mediocre. On a positive note, the building is nice and in a great location, and the employees are very friendly.

Yelp
Good location. About a 10 min drive from the beach!! Not a lot of eateries open past 10 pm nearby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Love that Incan log in to my netflix on the tv with the remote!! Great option!! I didn't go down for breakfast cause I'm not a fan those quick breakfasts but I'm sure they're just like any other. Yes I would recommend this place and would come back.

Yelp
Where to start, the staff were really friendly, and the hotel room was clean. We came a little before the season started so the price was under a hundred a night. And maybe that is why there were a few issues... we did use the room service the day after check in... there were 2 of us in the room, and that should have been apparent with both beds being used.... so the cleaning person cleaned before we got back at 1pm which was nice as we were tired from a long morning of fishing... I immediately notice there was only one towel where there should have been 3... being really tired of 5 hours of reef fishing figured I would call down after a nap... boy was I wrong... I went down about 4pm to see if the front desk person could get at least one more towel... poor lady checked all of her usual stash and had nothing... she even checked empty rooms that were out of service... still no towels.... needless to say we only had one towel between the 2 of us..... The next day when we returned from fishing and lunch, room service had not been there... I called down and asked for towels... luckily 30 minutes later the room service lady showed up with 2 towels... I have a hard time believing that a well know hotel chain would run out of towels.... either way it may be time to look for a better solution, your guests should never have to go with out a standard item in your rooms... Now mind you this hotel has only been open a year.... and from the looks of things it has not been maintained like it should... on the forth floor heading to the high 400 rooms the carpet has come unglued. Just little things like that need attention... hopefully if I return the towel issues will be a thing of the past... it I will bring my own bath towel just in case.... that is IF I return....

Yelp
This hotel is extremely clean well-maintained and the staff here is excellent the general manager should be commended for running an excellent property. I am here on business and would recommend this property wholeheartedly. It's in a great location close to restaurants and shopping. In comparison to properties I've stayed at around the area this hotel is outstanding.

Yelp
First time to PCB with my family...the hotel is brand new! I love how clean it is. The staff is very helpful as well. The breakfast is good. It starts to close around 8:30, so beware if you want waffles between 8:30am and 9am. Could use more fruit and non-pork choices... The only other thing is you are between 2 major roads. One good thing is that a long-term stay will be built soon, so that should alleviate some of the noise from one side.

Yelp
In from Missouri for vacation. Very clean with great amenities. Our beach house wasn't ready to check in until 4:00 so they gave us a 3:00 late check out which was wonderful. Hotel staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We stayed here one night, and I wish we would've stayed our entire trip instead of at summit condo. Would've saved us a lot of money too! It was super clean, comfy bed and linens, great water pressure, friendly staff. Short drive to the beach. We didn't use the pool or have breakfast here, so I can't speak on that.

Yelp
it was a nice hotel. I have been staying at Fairfield Inns for over ten years on business and this is one of the newer ones which is nice. You aren't going to walk anywhere to eat or walk to attractions, but they aren't a festive.

Walt D.

Yelp
Please be advised: After a 12 hour drive through horrible traffic on I65, I was informed that our reservation had been cancelled (credit card would not approve the amount). We were not informed and our rooms were sold. We found new rooms in Panama City thankfully, but paid a $1,000 premium. By the way, the card that had rejected the Panama City Beach Fairfield charge of $2,200 ACCEPTED the Panama City Residence Inn charge of $3,200. I have asked Marriott to assist me for the extra cost using Rewards points. They will not do anything. LESSON LEARNED - When is a reservation NOT a reservation? When a computer glitch indicates your card won't handle the cost ( for a few hours) and the rooms can be sold likely for a premium to the next family.

Yelp
Was not very impressed... I got here in the early evening , and was surprised they had only 2 parking spaces left and one of those spaces was partially taken by a truck that crossed the line. Upon entering, they immediately tell me, a Marriott gold member, they are all sold out so do not be surprised if I get a room that I did not book. Sure enough I didn't get the room I had requested. But whatever. Immediately after entering my room on the first floor right across from the elevators I noticed how noisy it was, and also I noticed a giant frog sitting on the window, although thankfully not in my room. The beds and pillows were slightly uncomfortable but not the worst I've ever seen. Breakfast was mediocre at best and the only other upside was how kind the lady at the front desk was, especially the one in the evening. Another bad part of this hotel is that it is in a very poor location that is not easy to access. This place sort of works for just driving through but I would definitely not recommend staying here multiple nights!

Yelp
My friend and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn at the end of January. After staying at the Comfort Inn, which was pretty awful, it was a breath of fresh air walking inside. Everything from the lobby to the room was spotless. It is just built, but I have no doubt that they will keep up their cleanliness! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Internet worked great. The TV had netflix already in it which was absolutely fantastic!! We also had a 2 month old baby with us and they offered to bring up a pack-n-play at no charge. We only planned to stay one night, but because of the Tornado that hit Georgia we ended up having to stay an extra night. The next morning was a Monday, and we didn't realize that breakfast ended earlier on the weekdays. However, the front desk agent (I'm sorry I wish I could remember your name!!) made sure we had anything we needed before breakfast was totally cleared. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! We will no doubt use this hotel again in the future!

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely beautiful!! It's very clean inside and out! The staff was very very friendly and accommodating!!!! We must come back!!!! Check this hotel out when you're in PCB! You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Loved our stay here. It was a beautiful king suite. It had 2 TVs a couch, fridge, microwave and a king sized bed. Didn't have a great view but the bed was very comfortable and we was just spending the night. I would stay here again if visiting Panama City Beach.

Yelp
Today, I had the worst experience when I contacted the hotel in regards to being reimbursed for the advancement payment that was taken out of my account when I made the reservation. Due to the pandemic, it was in my best interest to cancel my reservation. The reservations were made for the July 4th weekend. My reservation was canceled on June 18th, and I was told the funds would be refunded to my account within 5-7 business days. I requested to speak with the front desk manager, Clay Walker. Mr. Walker was very unprofessional on the phone, and not interested in my concerns regarding releasing the funds back to my account. He insisted that I needed to provide the credit card number if I wanted to get "my money" reimbursed. I assumed this information would have been saved under my reservation, therefore he should have been able to reversed the charges back to my card. His attitude and demeanor was unacceptable to be in a manager's position. It's bothersome to believe a prestigious hotel, such as the Marriott have people of this character as part of their team. Signed, Very Disappointed

Brittany R.

Yelp
No stars would be more appropriate for this review. We had a confirmed reservation for a two night stay, made all the appropriate arrangements for our trip (dog boarding, groceries, supplies, etc), drive from middle Tennessee to Panama city beach to find out upon arrival our room has been mysteriously cancelled with ZERO notifications from Fairfield suites or Hotwire even though our card was charged $678 by Fairfield which was more than the $602 stated on our confirmation. This was also a "pay later" reservation so I still have no clue why my card was charged up front. Literally, Hotwire & the Fairfield suites were unable to give us any answers. Not to mention the hotel staff was extremely rude and condescending. On our way to the hotel I had tried calling and the phone rang and rang. When I entered the hotel, I wasn't greeted for at least 10 minutes and at this time the phones were ringing off the hook. I spent 2+ hours with multiple Hotwire reps with no resolution. This left us stranded with 2 small children and no other hotels within a who knows what mile radius to be booked. As you can understand, this is an extremely frustrating situation. After breaking the hearts of our 5 and 3 year old boys we made the decision at 8:30pm to drive Back home to Tennessee after driving 9 hours+ to get there. Not to mention I finally received a cancellation at 9pm stating that our reservation has been cancelled and we are being charged a cancellation fee of $379.68. Needless to say this experience was a complete nightmare! All I wanted was a family trip for my birthday weekend. I will be filing complaints on Fairfield and Hotwire with the BBB and CFAB for their complete negligence and my lawyer is looking into this as well. I have not been able to get my money back as neither company has taken any responsibility for either of their unacceptable business practices. Last thing, one of the managers who my husband spoke to the next day said they had bed bugs as well so please beware when booking a stay here.

stephanie d.

Yelp
I booked this hotel over a month in advance. Mind you-I am a gold elite marriott rewards member. I arrived and was promptly told that they had overbooked and I would have to go elsewhere. This AFTER I prepaid for the room and AFTER they had double charged me for the room, which took over a week to get refunded. I'm honestly over Marriott.

Yelp
Only getting one star b/c I can't give "0"! The manager Clay Walker is totally unprofessional and ignorant. Hung up twice on my husband and my husband was being NICE. When we get to PCB last night at 2030, our reservation was cancelled. Mind you, there were tons of folks coming west due to hurricane Matthew who truly needed rooms. This jack wagon manager, decided to charge our card before we get there. It has been my understanding that you get charged upon departure of a hotel....anyway.... we reserved the room on a MARRIOTT REWARD VISA (the company he is representing). For some reason this tool of a manager had the wrong number, charged it early, and because he had an old number, it declined. We had a military rate and it sure does seem that he was eager to cancel our reservation to be able to increase his rates and stick it to those in need of a room traveling away from the storm. Just felt malicious and wrong. Thank goodness we were able to get a room at Tyndall AFB so we didn't have to sleep in the jeep. Sad that this jack-off is representing Marriott with such a heinous personality.

Ginger M.

Yelp
Everyone here is super nice! We were working in the hotel lobby and they ordered us pizza for lunch... amazing!! Rooms were super clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Jen S.

Yelp
Rooms were very clean and staff were very friendly. Convenient location. Just wish they had an indoor pool/heated pool with the cold snap PCB had during spring break. Loved the smart TV that let us use our Netflix account.
