"Bed and bath: Varies by accommodationTop amenities: Private fireplaces, jetted bathtubs, and a scrumptious on-site restaurantBest for: Romantic cabin getaway, no cooking required Though each of Zion Mountain Ranch’s luxurious cabins and updated lodge-style homes are truly unique and full of rustic, Wild West decor, we fell in love with The Rim Cabin, which is the most secluded of their smaller homes and perfect for couples. The 1,000-square-foot bungalow is set at the edge of Meadow Creek Canyon and boasts a large deck with panoramic views. Vintage-inspired fixtures and a separate soaking tub and shower combine to give the bathroom a luxe, antique flair, while the wood-burning fireplace and adjacent farm-to-table restaurant, Cordwood, will transport you back to Utah’s cowboy days." - Emily Pennington

2 night stay at Fairfield Inn Virgin, UT to explore Zion and Bryce Canyon NP. Didn’t want to pack and unpack so easier to stay at 1 location. |Hotel feels newer, rooms are large even in a standard room. The room had 2 king beds which is very rare for any property. Desk staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was standard Fairfield Inn and I’m a sucker for the self made waffles. Breakfast was available promptly at 6 which was great for the early departures to the parks. |It’s about 20 min to the west gate of Zion/Springdale and about 2 hours from Bryce. |Pool towels available at the front desk, it’s a busy location with lots of families. Pool is not heated (water cools off quickly overnight even with 104 degree daily temps). Room was really comfy, AC was very effective and the hallways are kept at a very comfortable temp. |There’s a Springhill Suites closer to Zion but it was 2x more. Many hotel options closer to Bryce but didn’t mind the drive over and back. Not many food options close to this hotel; we drove to Hurricane for pizza and other foods; no grocery store close by either.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while on vacation. Rooms are nice and clean, surprisingly spacious as well. The bathroom has a very modern design which I’m sure many guests will enjoy. Breakfast ends at 10 am and it’s surprisingly not crowded. Plenty of seating and lines are essentially non existent unless you’re going to making waffles. However I do wish they offered more options for the breakfast menu. This spot also boasts a large gym as well as a large outdoor pool with a hot tub. The pool and gym weren’t too crowded when i went which was surprising considering how nice these amenities were. Also, the outdoor dining area has some great wildlife such as lizards and roaches.

We loved our stay here! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights for us was finding vegan Silk oatmilk at breakfast — such a thoughtful, allergy-friendly option that made our morning oatmeal even better. It’s the little things that really make a difference! The location is stunning — surrounded by breathtaking canyon views and beautifully landscaped with vibrant flowers. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge, especially if you're visiting nearby Zion. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and scenery!

The hotel was clean and well-equipped, and the room was comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool with water feature, and the hot tub was nice. Breakfast was good -- oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, waffles, eggs, etc. This hotel is close to Zion, and there are restaurants 10-15 minutes away. For the price, staying here was a no-brainer.

Google
Seriously this is one of the best place I stayed in the recent past. The breakfast had lot of choices and fresh. I definitely recommend this place, reasonable cost and very decent place to stay. I would like to call out Mr. Travis front desk manager, he is extremely professional and provides excellent customer service. Yes, the A/C was a lot loud during the night. That was only one negative.

My stay was great! The room was clean, staff was prompt and helpful, breakfast was good and super early. Very close to the park, convenient and affordable. It was a solo trip for me but seems great for families. Their pool even has some fun features. Hot tub was great after a long day of hiking.||Would stay again if visiting Zion.

Newer hotel (2025 review) at this time. Great amenities: large pool with mushroom foundations for kids and shade, excellent gym (see video), comfortable beds, quiet rooms, excellent breakfast with many options (oatmeal, waffle, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagel, cereal, sausage, scrambled eggs), available as early as 6AM. Overall new furniture and clean, attentive staff. Lots of parking and free. Close to Zion National Park.

Google
Excellent experience for a weekend of fun at Zion NP. This property has great parking, excellent facilities, with a nice pool and a hot tub. This was a great place for a family or a couples weekend. 2nd floor balcony was nice to sit and enjoy the evening with a cold drink at the end of the day. The pool closes at 10:00 PM and they mean it.

Yelp
Stayed here one night for a stop at Zion National Park. Unlike the negative reviews, our experience was excellent!! From the moment we checked in, the front desk clerk was courteous. Our room was cool, and fresh smelling ( outside temp was 102 degrees!!) Our room was spacious, equipped with 2 king size bed, comfortable for our family. Everything in the room was clean and new, from carpet to the bathroom wall. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive to Zion National Park and about 10 minutes to restaurants. Keeping this hotel in the book of "revisit" hotel.

Heily P.

Yelp
I've read some of the negative reviews but I'm glad to report we did not have that experience at all. From check-in to check-out we were treated amazingly! The check in especially, I wish i knew her name because she was great! Answered all my questions and was so friendly. When we checked out we left a bag there so it wouldn't sit in the hot car all day at Zion and that was all so easy. Breakfast was fine, could be better but the customer service got them the 5/5 stars.

Yelp
We picked this hotel because I wasn't able to book all 3 days in Springdale by Zion National Park. This hotel is about 12 miles from the park entrance. It's secluded but building is huge. It looks fairly new and clean! Staff was very friendly and they have continental breakfast.

Yelp
Crazy night... we get our room key... brought all our stuff in from our SUV.... Leave and go to Zion national park...afterwards we Stop and have some dinner...Get back to our room... Start to unpack and my sister decides to go get a candy bar at the front desk... the handle on the front door will not open... it goes around and around.... Not good.... we call the front desk and they're like "What do you mean you can't get out of your room". I'm like come and take a look... so they did...Ends up the front desk person gets locked in with us, because she closed the door to look at the handle. Eventually we get out and of course we got another room.

Yelp
Good location- only about 20 minutes from Zion and as a modern facility, it offers amenities that aren't found in the BnBs next to Zion. When other family members camped at Zion, we gladly stayed here and enjoyed the daily breakfasts, inviting pool, and well-appointed rooms. This is a great place for small groups and families and for those who do want a more quiet respite from the hoards of people at the Park. Very clean, good service, and fairly quiet.

Angeline M.

Yelp
Interacted with 3 different front desk staff members and a housekeeper and all of them were kind, friendly and very helpful. The hotel seems new and the rooms are great. Had a gorgeous view from the balcony of my room, too! If you're visiting Zion or the surrounding area, this is a great, easy, clean spot to setup "camp"!

Gail P.

Yelp
This place is great! First and foremost, it's clean AND family friendly. Sure the walls are paper thin, but you get 2 king sized beds and a pretty well-stocked continental breakfast. Yes it's the usuall sausage and eggs, cereals, bagels, fresh-made waffles, and loads of juices and coffees to choose from! It's right across from the Wildflower glamping and 15 ish min from the Zion National park entrance. Well worth the stay! Will be back again!!

Yelp
I give the hotel a " 0" NO STARS !!! NOTHING ! For being GREEDY , and no class from the front desk to Management!!! They have no empathy, no customer service !!! Take a class and learn to read the need of your customers !!! They will not cancel your reservation and CHARGE YOU FOR IT NO MATTER WHAT !!! GREEDY !!!

Yelp
I passed by this place a few times on the way to Springdale and often wondered what it'd be like to stay in this remote Virgin UT location. Well I decided to give it a try because I thought it would be perfect for some quiet R&R plus its still a very new hotel. Check-in was fairly easy and no issues to report. All necessary info was given to me very promptly. I booked a king room because those type of rooms have balconies. Upon entering the room it looked very modern and comfortable. The carpet was a very inviting blue color and they seemed to make very good use of small spaces. The bathroom also looked very modern and clean. There does however, seem to be an issue with small details... there are three things I noticed immediately during my stay. #1- They must not have checked the balcony because there was someone's old food bowl sitting on a table on the balcony. #2- there were several spots or stains on the ceiling in one place like someone shook up a 2 liter bottle of soda and opened it. With it being a brand new hotel if they had wiped it off it would have looked great. #3- the shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. These are the only three semi negative things I have to say about the whole experience. The pool was very nice, it was large and had a nice little overhead waterfall decoration. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as well while overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Behind the hotel there is a walk way that leads up to a bridge where you can see the Virgin River. At night this hotel is very peaceful and quiet ....after a certain hour there isnt even any traffic on the road. In the morning they still do provide breakfast but it's in a box you can bring back to your room I like this hotel is very secluded and it was very relaxing. But here's a note for all you newbies that don't know the area, there's no delivery to this hotel whatsoever including ubereats ...you have to go get your own food from 10 Miles in either direction. They do have a small Market in lobby for Essentials you may have forgotten.

Yelp
Checked into the Fairfield to escape the heatwave. Thirty minutes later - no power or AC. Thirty minutes after that- no water or plumbing! It was unsanitary and unsafe in 110 degree heat. Staff and facility were rude and unprepared. Refused to refund us despite their hotel not being habitable. There are great places to stay in Zion, this just isn't one of them.

Meka W.

Yelp
Great stay! Decided to drive up to Zion for a night of star gazing. I'm so happy I choose this location for my trip. From the moment we pulled up, (the grounds were kept in immaculate condition) to the check in process, (there was a short line which gave me the ability to watch good customer service in action with the guest before me...as I was waiting another associate walked up to start the process. His customer service was beyond stellar and I walked away impressed with both employees behind the counter) Upon entering the room I was thrilled to find the room modern, comfortable, and very clean. Returning to the front desk to inquire about food options, the same friendly guy that checked me in was super helpful in providing recommendations for local restaurants based on what we wanted to eat and star gazing locations off the beaten path. The entire staff was just as friendly and helpful and to find out Daniel was actually the general manager was the cherry on top of a great stay! There was a slight issue the next morning and he was on top of it quickly and apologetically. I can't enough good things about this hotel and staff!

Yelp
I spent one night here in February 2021. On check out I was greeted by three housekeeping personnel, none wearing face masks. One was cleaning rooms. One was cleaning the hall. And one was cleaning the elevator. Two of them had the face masks hanging on one, the man cleaning the elevator, had no face mask at all. Marriott, on a national level, is failing to keep customers safe. This is not the first Marriott I have encountered in the last few months with housekeeping staff and front desk staff not properly wearing masks or not wearing masks at all. But this is the first where 100% of the housekeeping staff was not following covid-19 safety precautions.

Gary G.

Yelp
It's been a month since my stay. While the hotel did follow up, they have just left me hanging once again. Daniel offered to "get to the bottom of this", but have not heard back since May 03. Daniel Tolliver General Manager Fairfield Inn & Suites Daniel.Tolliver@Marriott.com 435-635-9758

Yelp
This Marriott hotel does not meet the Marriott name and runs illegal and morally wrong business practices. You can read in other reviews that they do not treat members well nor do they stand by the Marriott promises of benefits to Marriott members. They do business by their own rules. Even illegal ones. They will charge you for your service animal which breaks a federal law. They are desperate and will do anything to make a dollar off of you. The management here is terrible. Read the other reviews about the management because believe me, they are 100% true. Even after confronting them of their illegal charge of my service animal, they still did not refund me and not only that but completely ignored me trying to get it worked out with them. That's how they do business. They break federal laws and will ignore you if you make any attempts to contact them about it. Stay away from this place. Management is very horrible. I overheard other guests saying that they were wrongfully accused and charged for things they didn't do. That's how terrible this place is.

Yelp
I was traveling to Zion National Park and was staying there for one night, and when I looked online Fairfield Inn was giving the best rate and the reviews looked decent. I have stayed at Fairfield Inn before and generally they were decent but I never really had high expectations; but my last stay in Houston at the Fairfield Inn exceeded my expectations. The hotel is actually located in Virgin, Utah which did not seem that far from the park on Google Maps but when driving it did take about 15-20 minutes (depending on traffic). The location is beautiful as its surrounded by nature and a background of mountains. All of the hotels in the area have the same general look, which is nice because it makes it uniform and also does not impeded the nature scenery. As you enter the lobby, the check-in desks are to the right while straight ahead is the kitchen and dining area. There are hallways to the left and right that lead to the guest rooms as well as other amenities, and there are entrances on either hallway and in the middle of each hallway to the rooms. The check-in process was not that great - the barely college-age workers did not have any customer service skills at all and their uniform also looked unkempt so it was not a great representation of neither the hotel nor the brand. From the outside and inside, the hotel looked modern and updated so I received my key, a paper to the amenities available, and made my way to the room. The room itself was an updated version of the standard Fairfield Room. As you opened the door, on the leftside was the bathroom while straight ahead was the main part of the room. The bathroom had the sink on the left-side and a long counter that connected to the half-wall which provided some privacy to the toilet. There was a walk-in shower on the right-side and hooks for towels/clothes next to the shower; the shower contained Paul Mitchell refillable shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Usually there is a closet across from the bathroom but this time there was an open/updated closet between the closet and the room. Half of the closet was open and provided more space to the room while other parts were closed to allow privacy; and part of the closet was connected to a storage area on which you could place your luggage. The new design to the closet looked nice and updated and still kept the amenities of an iron, ironing board, a safe, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker + coffee. Further into the room, there was a king-size bed on left side of the room with a nightstand on either side. Across from the bed was a large desk with a chair, and above the desk was the TV mounted on the wall. Right next to the desk was a stand with a luggage place on top and drawers on the bottom. The room provided a lot of amenities for the guests to enjoy, it was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable to sleep in, there were plenty of outlets spread across the room and next to the bed, and overall it was a nice and comfortable room. Fairfield Inn has some standard amenities at all its hotels including complimentary parking, complimentary wifi, complimentary breakfast, and a fitness center. The fitness center was open despite the pandemic, but there were signs asking everyone to keep safe and were a mask; the fitness center was big, had lots of updated equipment and had a water station. The parking was vast and you could park next to a variety of entrances; the wifi was complimentary and fast enough to stream videos and check email. Fairfield was still providing complimentary breakfast, but you stood in line to select from the limited menu and then you took the items back to your room to eat. You could choose cereal, bagel, muffin, and/or fruit as well as coffee and/or juice and there were toasters and cream/sugar on the side for guests to partake it. While it was not a vast selection, I am glad that Fairfield was still able to provide this service to guests. Overall, it was another pleasant stay at Fairfield Inn. They seem to be upgrading and updating their hotels and the renovations seems to be improving the experience. This hotel was updated; the rooms were nice and spacious; there were plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy; and the hotel was spread out so you could practice social distancing. The hotel did have plenty of signs asking guests were masks and there were plenty of entrances that you could utilize. The only negative was that it was a longer drive than expected to Zion (but you also avoid traffic) and the check-in experience was not great; but other than that it was a great trip.

Yelp
Great Stay! Stayed here 2 nights in August 2022 while visiting Zion. Upon check-in, clerk worked her magic to get our 2 separate reservations rooms closer together (ended up being right across the hall). She asked if we were visiting the Park, and then printed up a map and explained how the Zion shuttle system works as well as printed a list of food options near the hotel - all without us having to ask for any of that information! She also told us about (included) breakfast times and to get pool towels up front. Room and bathroom were very clean! Exactly as advertised (which isn't always the case in mid-tier priced hotels)! Free breakfast had good variety (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, english muffins, waffels, yogurt, cereal, full self-serve coffee bar, and I may have forgotten a few). Breakfast area was very clean and spacious, and the staff re-filled items that were getting low promptly. Pool was also great, there's a little wading pool with a couple water-squirting type features and the main pool was big. Both were very clean. All the staff seemed happy and ready to promptly address any concerns of myself and any other guests I noticed they had interactions with. Overall, a fantastic stay - would (and might if we do Zion again) stay here in the future! The staff should be proud of this place - their hard work shows!!!

Samantha L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay at this location last weekend. I was in town for the Zion Half Marathon and this hotel was conveniently located right next to the start line! The front desk workers were very friendly. They also left out complimentary water bottles in the morning for us runners. The fitness facility had a filtered water machine to easily refill reusable water bottles. The hotel was also a short 15 min drive to Springdale/Zion and a short drive to La Verkin. The rooms were very nice and spacious as well.

Lynn D.

Yelp
We spent 6 nights on our family vacation out west, but only two at this hotel. I wish we had spent all six here! This place is great: everyone is very friendly and attentive, and everything is SUPER CLEAN. No matter the time of day, you'll always see someone cleaning. We had a room with two king beds (which was a treat in and of itself). After a day at Zion, we returned to the hotel to the splash pad, which my 5 year-old son loved. The breakfast area was clean and was consistently being replenished. Coffee and water all day long. There was one issue with a smoke alarm that went off three times as we were trying to put my son to bed, but after we evacuated, we were informed that there was no danger, just that the alarm had been pulled and they were having trouble resetting it. All in all, we lucked out with this hotel, and we would return for the next Zion trip.

Darin V.

Yelp
Have consistently declined elite member benefits to be me at this hotel. The 4pm Late Checkout Guarantee not honored here. Owner is happy to be a Marriott hotel franchisee and get all the benefits of having access to Marriott's clientele but quick to decline benefits. $$$ not service focused.

Trent W.

Yelp
I have been to this hotel about five or six times now and it is very convenient when I visit Zion national Park and southern Utah in general easy to get to Kanab and the vermilion cliffs and other locations are fun to explore. The hotel itself is always clean and comfortable in every way including the beds.

Sarah K.

Yelp
We were visiting Zion National Park for the first time and decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Virgin Zion National Park. As an international traveler who has been to hundreds of hotels, particularly Marriott hotels around the world, I have seen quite a range of accommodations and customer care. This is one of the best experiences I've had. The rooms were clean, the staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful, but one particular staff member on the night shift made our stay. We wanted to say a special thank you to Taylor who helped us when we forgot a personal phone charger and who made sure we had breakfast when we left early to hike The Narrows. Her kindness made our stay incredibly special and it's that level of professional excellence that will ensure we come back again. Thank you so much, Taylor!

Erica K.

Yelp
I had a late check in and early departure, but the experience was great. Plenty of parking for any size car, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It was great to have a balcony/patio to enjoy the beautiful Zion skies. The hotel is just near the exit of the long road that leads to the Kolab Reservoir and not too far from Zion National Park. You may hit some traffic later in the day, but if you are trying to get in before sunrise (like me) you may be the only person on the road! The gym was more spacious than most hotels I've been to, and fairly well equipped for the size of the hotel population. I didn't get a chance to stay for breakfast or to checkout the pool area, but photos made it look nice! Just a few miles from a gas station/convenience store. Also, plenty to do in the area. I highly recommend!

Jane D.

Yelp
I'm basing my review in comparison to other Fairfields and similar hotels. The property was very nice, even with them working to complete another wing of the hotel. The pool area was large and looked great, but we didn't take advantage since we didn't pack our swimsuits. They seem to be taking the pandemic seriously with plexiglass at the front desk, that staff masked as well as the breakfast staff. Because of current conditions they offer grab n go boxes. We were there two nights and each morning the boxes were packed with an orange, a yogurt, and a muffin. There were also cereals available and juice or coffee on your request. The lobby and breakfast area were very nice and under different conditions we would've spent more time there. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and included a fridge and microwave. The location of the hotel was great as it was just a short drive to the Zion entrance and directly across from Kolob Terrace road which is a nice drive up to Kolob reservoir. When we return to the Zion area, we'll likely look to stay here again. I didn't give a full five stars because parking is quite a ways from the entrance for some reason, not all staff was masked, and this isn't the Ritz (lol)

Heather A.

Yelp
Rooms are clean, comfortable and the common space is amazing! They have great views from the patio and even from the gym space you have a crazy pretty back view!

Xai V.

Yelp
Great hotel on the outskirts of Zion. We stayed for one night in December 2020 and the place was spotless. The front desk was super friendly and upgraded us to a 2 king bed room for free. There usually is a complimentary hot breakfast but due to covid, breakfast was just grab and go but it was more than sufficient. The hotel was super clean including our room. Rooms have a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Will definitely return whenever we are back in the area.

S B.

Yelp
Should be 5 stars. Except. Not finished , new hotel, our room was clean and fresh ( new hotel) Our room was missing any kind of chairs or place to sit. There was room and it seemed like once the hotel was finished the room would get one but no dice yet. They have a nice laundry room for traveler's with a long folding table but again no Chairs to sit and wait for laundry. Staff was amazingly friendly and the morning breakfast was what we expected. Location was about 20 minutes to Zion and Zion food and about 15 minutes the nearest other town for food. We would return. Pool was good - water was freezing.

Jana T.

Yelp
One of the nicest facilities I have stayed in! All the employees were so kind and helpful, the pools were clean and very nice, the rooms were a great size and we didn't have to upgrade for a king sized bed! I loved everything about our stay there! I would definitely stay there again!!

Eddie L.

Yelp
Great location between Zion National Park and St George. They accommodations are excellent. Front desk is friendly and very helpful. They do a complementary grab and go breakfast between 6am and 10am. The rooms have refrigerator and microwaves. The pool is great for children that have plenty of towels and fun little water sprinklers inside the pool. The big screen TV in the room was a nice touch they also supply HBO and basic cable. We booked our reservation online and we requested a bathroom amenity set an extra towels and upon arrival those items were in our room already.

Lina T.

Yelp
Abby & Chole were the Best! They totally got us! Helped us with planning the day to Zion. What a beautiful brand new upscale Fairfield! We had such an amazing stay. The shower was sooo good and the bed was so comfy I slept really well. They put us on the 2nd floor with a breathe taking view of the mountains! We will come back for sure!!!

Alex V.

Yelp
This hotel was very clean, the front desk staff was very helpful and informative with tons of information on Zion. The housekeeping staff was great as well, always greeting my family and staying on top of our requests. A suggestions I would give the hotel: Install some lights in the pools, the pool is open late which is great during the summer heat but the pools have no lights so the only light is provided by the surrounding light posts which are on the outside of the pool gates. Night swimming was a little too dark for our small kids but we made it work. A tip for travelers: Virgin, UT and the surrounding cities shut down pretty early, we checked in and were ready to hit the town for some dinner at 6pm and realized that everything in town, including a grocery store was closed. Walmart, 20 min away was the only thing open. The lobby had some microwave items to get us by for the night which was nice. Check out the restaurant hours for the spots nearby, they all close pretty early so come prepared with snacks, food and water. Overall, a great hotel, the cleanliness stood out and the friendly desk and housekeeping staff was also great.

Yelp
Hotel is maintained well, rooms are clean, i think specifically good for the price. Gym is huge. I like the usb outlets in the rooms.

Yelp
We had a family road trip in UT/AZ area during the thanksgiving holiday and had a really really horrible experience with this Hotel and Marriott in general. My family travels a lot globally and we lived in various hotels with wide-range of service qualities. The customer service here was the lowest level I ever experienced, Motels included. At the day we were at Zion national park and made the reservation at the Hotel, the weather suddenly changed and we were exploring different options with our plan: we could choose to stay and left the next day; or we could drove couple hours and stayed at our next stop. So we called to see what the policy was on changes so we could make a decision. As we were connected, we first expressed our intention and gently asked if we could re-schedule the reservation since we plan to come back later anyway. The representative quickly asked "do you want to cancel it"? We didn't even think about that option but it definitely would give us more flexibilities so we said "ok, if we can". Then the representative just replied "ok it is done" and hang up. We didn't even have the opportunity to ask any follow-up question. We called again, multiple times, just to clarify what would happen on the charge. Will we get full refund? If no, we definitely would prefer to maintain the reservation. We got different answers. Later on, it turned out that we were charged $100+ cancellation fee, which is about 90% of the the total charge. Multiple round of emails, they refused to provide any help just claimed that their cancellation policy. I truly hope they could spend more time on customer service and staff training, instead of on fighting with customers and defending themselves. Comparing to another good experience we had with Holiday Inn, we had the reservation and at the time of check-in we realized that they had some renovation going on where their indoor pool didn't open at the day. They kindly suggested us to check the Western Premium next door and offer us free cancellation. There is another Motel. When we checked in, the weather was horrible. The front desk told us that it was unlikely we would be able to have a good time at local so they suggested us to drive anther 3 hours to stay at a different city. These are the way a hotel should treat their customers and those hotels are the ones customers will come back! Marriott hotels seem to have this culture of "screwing your holiday" and when you complain they give you some points and turn you into a happy customer. That is just WRONG!

Yelp
If you're planning on visiting Zion, this is a great place to stay. It's about 20-30 min away from the park but, well worth it. You will miss that constant flow of traffic in Springdale. The hotel is pretty new and is totally opposite of roughing it. Big rooms, flat-screen TVs, soft beds, hot shower and free breakfast to start your day. The staff are super friendly (maybe that's a Utah thing?) and courteous. I love the views from the hotel. Bonus feature is that the TV lets you login to your netflix account and has free HBO-GO. Also, the pool looks amazing like a min-water park.

Yelp
New hotel so everything is fresh BUT.... Our first night we asked for a room away from the highway and were told we would be fine where we were, there would be no highway noise. Not accurate-there was noise until after 10:00pm. The shower had soap scum on the shelf and hair from a previous resident on the floor. The manager checked us in, discredited the two local restaurants, and is the one that promised quiet, never saw her smile. When we checked out the next morning we told the young woman at the desk and she reserved a room on the inside for us on our return visit. She was very nice. Return visit, room was fine but weather strip on shower door was pulling off and there was hair in the shower again. At 6:30am they were out of coffee in both Regular urns. The manager was still not smiling. They need to get their act together.

Yelp
Beautiful Hotel. Do not hesitate to book it. Drive is only 15-20 mins to Zion. Everything from the beds to lamps in the room all seem to all be thought out and placed strategically. We have stayed at many Fairfield's and this is definitely at the top. Luz at the front desk is sweetheart and helped us out numerous times throughout our trip. We just booked this hotel for our parents coming in a few months. Ownership clearly takes pride in there assets.

Yelp
I stayed here on the weekend before thanksgiving with my 2 adolescent grand children. The hotel was very nice, the people were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable. I requested and was given a quiet room. I left my favorite pillow at the hotel and the manager went out of her way to box it up and ship it to me. I highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Brand new hotel. Only opened for 2 months. Location is an easy 10 min drive from Zion park gate. Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. They have only king beds. Even in the double rooms. Large pool area with hot tub. It feels great after a long day of hiking. Breakfast was included and had a good variety included hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. I have already recommended this property to people headed to Zion

Yelp
Extremely frustrated with this hotel and my experience there. We stayed here because it looked clean and new even though it was almost 20 mins away from Zion Park Entrance. I left my bathing suit in the bathroom behind the door and realized this later that evening when we were over 3 hours away. I called right away, they explained it was probably still on the housekeepers cart. The lady on the phone put me on hold during this conversation because she had a "customer" in line ... um excuse me, I am a customer as well ... I just spent 2 nights there. She assured me someone would call me the next day to tell me they found it. Apparently they are suppose to bring down everything found in the rooms and log it into the hotels lost and found. I waited 2 days and I never received a call. I then called them myself and they said they didn't find anything. I assured them I 100% left it in the bathroom so that means the housekeeper must have taken it and kept it (weird/gross because it's someone else's bathing suit) OR threw it away. When I asked if they could look up who cleaned that room and ask them directly, they seem to have no record of who cleaned the room. She said she couldn't find the paper that they record who cleans what room. Sounds sketchy that you don't keep a record of that in digital form. All she said was sorry and that she could offer me hotel points. We also seemed to have small bugs all over the room that seemed to come out of know where. After that experience, I wouldn't was to use points to stay there away anyways. It wasn't the fact it was an expensive bathing suit, it's that they "clean" the room before the next guest but seem to have not found something that was 100% left there. To top it off, we asked for a late check out because we wanted to come back after hiking in the AM to get food we had left in the fridge. With this hotel being 20+ mins away from the park an extra hour would have helped. They said they were completely booked and couldn't accommodate us. We asked if they could come clean our room last and they said no. Apparently the housekeeper was too busy stealing or throwing my bathing suit. Very irritating and disappointing experience with bad customer service.

Yelp
The property is brand new and is beautiful. The pool looked amazing. The customer service experience I had with the front desk was the worst experience I have ever had traveling. I travel over 90 days a year and the customer service I experienced was disrespectful and humiliating. When checking out I was planning on taking my two kids to the pool before heading home on our 7 hour road trip. I asked if I would still have access to the pool, which I was told no. I asked if I could have a late check-out just so we could use the pool and I was told there were none available. I asked if I could speak to the manager on duty. She then told me the general manager is not there. I asked if I could speak to anyone other than her and she said she was the only person I could speak to. Marriott is a huge company and I am sure if I am a unhappy guest someone within that company would like to hear from me. This was one of two negative interactions I had within my 18 hour stay. Next time I will stay in hurricane or Springdale and will just skip virgin!

Yelp
We saw this brand new hotel and thought we would give it a try for our trip to Zion's National Park. We always have great experiences at Marriott hotels. This one let us down. The hotel is new and clean but lacking in a few areas. The swimming pool was freezing cold even though it's advertised as having a heated pool. The hot tub water was barely hot. I reported the problem to the front staff. We tried swimming the next day. Nothing changed. The shower pressure is horrible. The free body wash was completely empty. One of the food workers was bringing in bagels and breads with his bare hands during the complimentary breakfast. The staff are friendly but it was lacking the small things that make it worth the price. I wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
This is one of the most well thought-out hotel rooms we've seen in a long time. Contemporary very attractive. Built-ins simple practical useful hooks where you need them. Only negative we could hear people in the next room but fortunately they were quiet before very late.
