Had a two night stay here and can say it was great ,the reception was very welcoming and staff were very friendly. The room was spotless. And all for a very resonable price. The hotel is close to the main road and a sub station, but don't let this put you off ,there were no noise problems. After coming from a disgraceful Hilton in Portland, this was excellent.

Google
This hotel was extremely clean first off. Just spent two weeks on the road and really the best. Second, I’m gonna repeat the pillows were amazing! Cheaper hotels tend to go low budget on pillows. Not this place. There were perfect. Staff were attentive and the room set up very practical and useful.

Google
Thought some 1-star reviews of the night shift front desk were one-offs but this has to be one of the worst Marriott properties I’ve ever been to. The staff are rude and not accommodating at all. I have over 500 night at Marriott properties and will never be returning to this location again. I’ll book another brand before being paid to stay here. Avoid at all costs

Inna Chirko

Google
The night lady at front desk refused to check us in at 3am. Because technically check in isn’t until 3pm, but we unable to make a reservation for day before, because it’s pass midnight. She said she had plenty of rooms, but can’t check us in “for the future”. I hope she feels better that we slept in the car. Horrible!

Google
GPS to get here is a bit wonky. From the outside I was skeptical. It looks outdated. I almost rebooked elsewhere just because of my past experiences with older Fairfield’s. I will honestly say the hotel is kept very clean. My room is clean and everything works. Highly recommend.

Google
Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and the room was very clean. Negative: We were right next to the highway so it was noisy, but not unbearable.

Derek

Google
Positive: Good hotel rooms were okCould of been better for the almost ---- a night with the extra fees Negative: Pool and hot tub closed was informed we could use the sister hotel 1 mile down the road / wasn't what I was wanting to do ...but nice option to have while there I guess

Google
Went here to stay for about 3 ours to relax. Got kicked out 17 minutes later because my dog isn't "considered a service dog". Its so sad because everything else was so nice. Do not come here if you have a dog for emotional support! Just warning you guys, but whatever ig

Yelp
I have stayed here a couple of times when my preferred hotel in the area was sold out and I had no other choice. The place is dirty and the walls are paper thin so you can hear people talking in rooms across the corridor. Upon check in I was told that they only "refreshed" the rooms every three days, which is ridiculous. Most likely ownership is too cheap to pay for enough staff to clean or doesn't pay a reasonable wage. I only saw one housekeeping person in the entire hotel while I was there. In any event my room had a musty/moldy smell and had many stains on the furniture, so it certainly reflects a lack of care. The last time I stayed they had two wedding parties, and they were running around in the corridor at 3am. Staff was completely unhelpful and is unhelpful generally, to the extent you can find anyone working there. For the money, you would be much better off at the Courtyard.

Yelp
I read the reviews and I had some hesitation about staying here but the location was right so I did. One star off because it is right next to the freeway and also an electric plant area. With that being said, four stars because my stay was great. I stayed on the third floor and requested a room away from the Highway, which they accommodated. They were pretty full so they even upgraded me to a suite. My room was quiet and clean. Next, the staff is incredible and tries very hard to make your stay good. I rode in on a motorcycle and there were storms predicted for that night and one of the employees allowed me to park under the carport so my bike wouldn't get soaked. So incredibly nice. I thought the breakfast was great. It was actually way better than the Fairfield I stayed in the night before. They had quiche, eggs, sausage, muffins and croissants, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, etc. There was nothing lacking for breakfast except fresh fruit. I had yogurt instead. All in all, I really appreciated the staff here and I thought it was a good stay.

Yelp
Place is like staying in a homeless encampment now. Bathroom sink was plugged and homeless people were walking around most of the night outside, my wife did not feel safe there and I believe some people were living in a car in the parking lot. Don't forget to bring your blue tarp!

Yelp
We booked rooms at the last minute but it was truly a great deal. Good, clean rooms at a fabulous price point that includes amenities like indoor pool, WiFi and breakfast, Win! The lobby was vibrant and well lit. The reception had a wending machine for snacks and medicine. The hallways didn't look worn down, quite well maintained. The pool and jacuzzi were cleaned frequently. The rooms were very clean and I thought it was a great idea to put the sink outside the bathroom coz if your sharing the room with another person you can get going with your business. The complimentary breakfast runs between 7-10am and is wide spread. Toast, fruit, waffles, a cold bar for yogurt and milk, a coffee bar, oatmeal, eggs $ sausages and a cereal bar. That's a good hearty breakfast! There's plenty car parking that has back door access so you don't have to walk all the way if you're parked in the rear end.

Yelp
A run down hotel. No bottled water anywhere in the place -- free or paid. This may have been the ongoing Bidenization of the economy, etc. But still disappointing. The carpets are dingy and smell of mildew. The room was small and the breakfast had little choice. No toast or bagels. There were fresh baked muffins. That was nice. This needs a serious refresh.

Yelp
I stayed here for over 3 months! I am a traveling medic, helping with COVID. Michelle and Christine keep that place running!! If it wasn't for them I'm afraid I wouldn't be where I am now. They go above and beyond! So do the housekeeper managers, Kelly and lord I can't remember names great! I recommend this place 1000 percent when I travel! I couldn't ask for a better accommodations and people to be there for me when no one else is when your traveling! These ladies will always be special and a forever friendship!! 100 percent recommend this establishment!

Yelp
This place is a dump, stay away!!! I've been a Marriott Rewards Member for 20 years and have stayed in hundreds of Marriott properties, without a doubt this is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. For 3 days I've requested my room be cleaned, each day they promise to clean but it still hasn't happened. Dirty sheets, no toilet paper, dirty breakfast area there's nothing positive to say. Take my advise, when staying in Concord New Hampshire avoid the Marriott Fairfield Inn

Yelp
Disappointed with the lack of concern when we mentioned there were bugs in the room, including the bed. Will not stay here again in the future.

Yelp
We stayed here for 1 night on our transit from Vermont to Maine. It was fine because we paid a cheap price for $119.90 grand total for 1 night. Our room was decently sized, and the location was great because there was a nearby CVS and we could drive easily to pick up food, etc. They have some yummy cookies offered to guests.

Jessica G.

Yelp
Check in was very simple and the workers were very nice. I felt as though the room was not clean though. There was a stain on my sheets and it was visibly clear that the quilt does not get washed. All surfaces definitely could have used an extra touch of love from Clorox. You get what you pay for

Craig T.

Yelp
Hotel staff was very friendly but unfortunately our stay was met by mice on the second floor of the hotel.

Yelp
I stayed in the Fairfield Inn in Concord, NH last week and got bed bug bites. I was positively diagnosed with bed bug bites by my dermatologist. very disappointed in the lack of response by management. It has been a weeks time and I have yet to hear from the hotel manager, despite placing 3 calls and 2 emails. I have spoken with the front desk staff who did confirm a history of bed bugs on the 3rd floor which I stayed on. I called twice over the weekend, first time informing them of the bites. I called the next day and asked for them to inspect the room. They told me they would after the current occupant checks out. So clearly they are still renting this room out despite being informed of my experience. And now I have to have my apartment fumigated. Very frustrated with management response and will not stay at this hotel again. I recommend you stay clear as well. Update: since I first posted, the hotel reimbursed me for my cleaning expenses after some negotiation.

Yelp
I was really impressed! Clean, quiet room, updated lobby decor, hot tub and pool, and nice breakfast. Also you can't beat the location. I will definitely stay here again, terrific quality for price!!

Yelp
We stayed while in the area for a wedding. The facility is newish with the expected things pool, free Wi-Fi, work out room. Prior reviews mention the last of a high def TV it appears they were replaced with flat screen models connected to Direct TV. The rooms were very clean and well taken care of. The staff was very nice. The free breakfast this morning was an issue. I can not totally blame the hotel or staff for the issues. The food was well prepared and well presented. The issues were caused by a large group of people who had no problem loading up there plates with way more food than they could eat in one sitting and had no problem cutting in front of those who were waiting their turn. The single staff member struggled to keep up and it did not help when a single person takes 30 sausage links right after they fill up the tray. A woman even took the bagel I put in the tester and walk away with it. Other than the breakfast problem I highly recommend the hotel. I also do not think the breakfast issue would be a problem during the week when it is mostly professionals who have manners.

Yelp
Checked into my room in the afternoon, took my bags to the room and immediately stepping off the elevator, I smelled a strong fecal/sewage smell. It was obvious there was some sort or overflow or sewage problem of some sort. It was also one of the "suites" which was located in the basement. On the way out for dinner, the smell was still there. I talked to the young man at the front desk (I believe his name was Nick, had a nose ring) and asked him if he knew about the smell. He said he was unaware but would ask the maintenance guy to check it out. I asked him to let me know and gave him my room number. I stayed the night, left early and worked a 14 hour day. Upon returning, the smell was still there and seemed stronger. I went to the front desk to talk to the same person. I asked him what he was able to do about the smell. He said "nothing. I haven't heard from the maintenance guy." I asked why he didn't tell me or follow up with the maintenance guy and he said "what do you want me to do?". He accused me of raising my voice (I admitted to him I was frustrated, but I was not yelling at him) and seemed pretty apathetic. At this point I was basically talking to a brick wall and I was too tired to deal with him. I was not offered another room on a non-smelly floor or a discount for staying in a dank room where the ac did not seem to work. The morning of checkout, I spoke to someone that seemed to be a day manager. While apologetic, she only offered me points to my account (for which I have no use) or a free night the next time I was in town (something that will never likely happen again since this was a one time work trip).

Yelp
Stayed in the king suite, which has a jacuzzi in the room. It cozily fits 4 people (a little tight, though). It was fun chilling in the jacuzzi while watching TV. The room was clean and everything seemed pretty kosher. Located near lots of restaurants within walking distance. Liquor store and supermarket are also nearby, in case that helps with anything.

Yelp
Find another spot. I will start off by saying I LIKE Marriott's. I am Silver Elite. I booked this hotel because of corporate policy. I was no impressed. Unlike others, I found the staff to be helpful, but the overall experience was poor. I checked in and was given a room on the second floor. There were at least 10 people hanging around in the hall near my room, drinking beer and listening to music. I opened the door and a funky smell hit me. I went back down and got moved to the third floor. The room was basic but fine. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tired and the tub has hair in it from previous guest. The breakfast was good. I'll stay elsewhere on my next trip.

Yelp
BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE.....My son and I went over one night as a treat while shopping all day.... We walk into our room and the chair was missing a leg, office chair was stained with grape juice, curtains hanging off on the right hand side, feces on the toilet seat, some unknown bug was found in the room the next morning, hair all over the bathroom floor, room keys did not work, had to go back to the desk to get new ones and the TV was not a flat screen and the channels that had a picture had no sound and other channels, just black screen. When I complained the guy at the front desk said, well you at least enjoyed the pool right? I said yes however shouldn't I enjoy all of the ammenities and not just one? I called the manager. She said she would refund my $ for the stay however I just looked at my bank account and I was not refunded but charged twice. Manager, Patti said they were renovating in November. She said they know the channels dont work. Poor service and quality. DO NOT GO HERE.

Yelp
Upon check-in, we were told our room wasn't ready. We were told that the cleaning staff was very busy and was behind in their duties. It was well after 3 PM when check-in was was supposed to be available. However the staff told us she would change our room to one that was available. She did not tell us that it was a handicap room. The room was adequate except in the bathroom there was no counter space. Try putting on contact lenses without a counter. The sink, towel rack etc were very low and hard to use for a non handicap person. Also we were wondering why a handicap room is on the third floor. Especially when the elevator wouldn't work when we tried to go to our room. If there is an emergency and someone would need to use the stairs how will a handicap person get out of the building? We paid $149 for the room. Then I saw a last minute rate of $134. However I made the mistake of booking my room through booking.com and not through Marriott. This is my first stay as a rewards member. I'm not highly impressed. I'm happy to say Marriott addressed our concerns. They are adjusting our bill to make up for our less than perfect experience.

Yelp
I cannot state how badly I don't want to come back to this place again...ever. It wasn't because of the rooms, (which were only okay), or the bugs flying in my room (which were tasty) It was the staff. The staff was lousy to say the least. One of the main reasons we booked this room was the free WiFi to complete some business. The WiFi NEVER worked the entire time we were there. The unhelpful, disinterested staff were too busy being curt and obtuse to ever be any help. Stay at the Courtyard by Marriott which isn't much further away in Concord.

Yelp
There's nothing I like better at 7 in the morning after drinking a little too much at a wedding the night before than waking up to the sound of little kids down the hall. Not that the hotel can help that. I don't blame them for it. The point is just to say that the rooms are not soundproof. At all. The Fairfield seems to be pretty new - new enough that my GPS (which mind you, hasn't been updated in like 2 years) didn't realize it was there. The room was clean, non-smelly, and had a mini fridge, which was perfect for storing my remaining half sandwich from lunch to have after said wedding. The "exercise room" consists of 2 treadmills and a bike, but they advertise free guest passes to a nearby Gold's Gym. Breakfast is included, and consists of fairly standard fare - cereal, fruit, some microwavable breakfast sandwiches, and a waffle maker with one of those cute batter dispensers. Nothing exciting, but can't complain because its free :) The staff was very friendly, and seemed really genuine about it. The only negative is its a little ways from downtown Concord, but its a quick drive.
google avatar

Bill K.

Yelp
Very out-dated Do you remember the last time you saw a low definition TV? Just goes to show all Fairfield Inns are not created equal

Walt N.

Yelp
Researching online, Concord hotels looked to be slim pickings. We picked this one--and regretted it. It fronts the interstate, it is 10-15 years since it's been spruced up, the rooms are bare minimum. I wouldn't stay here again.
google avatar

Yelp
This hotel/motel was clean, the staff were friendly, the beds are comfortable, free coffee 24/7, they have a well balanced breakfast buffet (something for everyone) , the shower was decent, the room had a fridge coffee maker, and microwave , the pool and spa, were ok..... The downside.... the tv sucked! They had ok channels but no info guide or tv guide, The wifi went down and never came back, the room had a funky febreze smell (it wasn't terrible just not what I'm used to.) the AC could have been colder, but it 95 degrees out I'm not gonna knock em too hard for that. Overall a decent hotel experience. The free breakfast buffet was really good just stay away from the stale bread, muffins, and lenders bagels and definitely stay away from the fake sweetened O.J.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Stayed here a month ago for a wedding . It was really nice! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and I love how they had complimentary breakfast! However I didn't like how we had to book two night, but I understand it was bike week.

Yelp
We stayed at three different hotels in Concord, and this one best them all. Deb was a dream come true when it comes to customer service; friendly, helpful, and understanding. The other staff we met were also great. The room was spacious and clean, the beds super comfortable, with huge televisions and free Wi-Fi. Absolute best free continental breakfast I've ever eaten, with a huge variety of food. But above all is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, whom we thank God for after our experience at the other hotels. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Fairfield when visiting Concord, it's the best hotel in its price range, and the customer service cannot be beat.

Sam T.

Yelp
Bright, clean and convenient. Friendly check-in, pool and up to date decor. Booked last minute during family road trip and more than pleasantly surprised. Fresh and modern feel, all amenities and necessities and within walking distance to Common Man restaurant (very great find!) as well as CVS-- right off of 93 and convenient to everything. Complimentary breakfast as well. Very pleased with the experience
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Stayed here for our 1st family ski trip and had a very nice experience. The hotel must have been updated recently b/c the lobby and rooms were not dated as some older reviews have stated. Everything was nice and clean, and the staff friendly. Overall, a very reasonable hotel that is minutes away from downtown Concord and close to a number of ski southern NH ski areas. We'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Green G.

Yelp
Tale of two hotels. Public spaces up to date and nice. Staff fine. Rooms are old and tired. First room I got smelled of mildew. And so did the second one. Less than the first. I was able to open the windows and get some air in so I could get through the night. Won't stay here again.
google avatar

Sheri V.

Yelp
Had the do not disturb sign on the door and 6 times the cleaning lady knocked on the door. Starting at 7am she just walked in our room every time after that she was knocking on the door so we had to get up and tell her to stop.

Mike D.

Yelp
I was in the area on business and typically book with Mariott. Staff seemed pleasant but the rooms are tired are outdated. Low deff tv was very disappointing. I'll book somewhere else next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Jocelyn K.

Yelp
Customer service is 5 stars. Hotel quality 2 stars. Being a frequent Marriott customer, this location is sub par for a Marriott property. Please remodel this hotel! The tv is ancient and you can't even get a clear picture!

Gordon D.

Yelp
The hotel has just finished an interior renovation. The hotel is clean. The staff is efficient. The only real negative was the AC unit which sounded like a Flying Fortress on takeoff. The establishment is nothing to write home about, but I was satisfied with the accommodations for the price.
google avatar

Priscilla K.

Yelp
Almost done with the renovation. Asked for a quiet room on the back of the hotel. Very clean as the room was brand new. Air conditioning unit was a little loud, but that side of the hotel is quiet.!Only had a cold breakfast because of the reno, but was good enough. Wanted to warm up leftover pizza on the grill, but 1) it was very dirty and 2) couldn't get it to light, maybe out of gas. The personnel were very nice.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Very clean and quiet room. Great included breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. A quick walk to a great restaurent, The Common Man. We would stay there again.
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
Staff is friendly, Rooms are clean. Little refrigerator in room. Checked in at night, complimentary nachos and salsa. Nice little pool with hot tub, doors that lead to an outside area. Awesome continental breakfast.

Don M.

Yelp
Stayed here on my wedding weekend in the king suite. I liked that it had a jacuzzi in the room, the staff was friendly, and the bedding was clean. However, I thought the water that filled the jacuzzi was strange looking. Like an opaque-green/brown color. Once we got it filled, we thought it was broken, because we had no idea how to make it work (maybe that was on me, not really having used hot tubs in the past, I don't know). My sister-in-law (who also had a jacuzzi in her room) complained to the front desk about the water color. They told us to empty and re-fill the tub. He also took $100 off the bill for both of our rooms, which was nice. Also, the hot tub in the pool room was better. Anyway, the rest of the room was okay. Had a hard time finding outlets to plug in my laptop near the bed. The TV was old and low-def, which I guess I didn't care about since I didn't watch it. The biggest nuisance was the sound. Mostly it was the fact that when any surrounding room used water, you could hear the sound of water, very loudly. But also the fact that we were right near the side door, and the other guests were apparently smokers, because they went out the side door frequently, and it slammed every time. To summarize: Could be better, could be worse. I just know that if I had to book in the area again, I'd probably book elsewhere.

Lisa W.

Yelp
We like to stay here because they have very fairly priced hot tub rooms. We travel a great deal and this is in our top five hotel choices in NH simply for that reason.
google avatar

Joyce J.

Yelp
we just spend the nite here. the staff was very nice and friendly. we asked for early check in and gosh we were early 1130am and they had our room all ready. the room was a great size, very clean, tidy and up to date. we didn't need a thing. the lobby was very bright and cheerful. it was close to ski area and resturants. we loved the common man next dr. the breakfast in the lobby was out of this world..what an arrangement and variety of food. they didn't miss a beat. only downfall was the indoor pool and hot tub were very small and the chlorine was overpowering we could barely breathe. maybe needs better ventilation. but all and all the price was perfect and so is this hotel. thank u :)

Don W.

Yelp
Make this an econolodge as it is not Fairfield quality. Old, aged, worn out. Check in great, check out morning 05-02-14 had no personality.

Huntwr Z.

Yelp
Creepy hotel, there were two roaches on my bed, four on the ceiling.. Me and my family left this hotel to stay at another one due to the cockroaches that were in our room.. I would give it zero stars if it wasn't for the very nice young lady at the front desk that helped us.
google avatar

Yelp
In short we went to the Days Inn prior to coming here..it was a nightmare. I called a few other places when I came across the Fairfield Inn and spoke with a woman named Deb. I explained to her where we were and how horrible it was. She told me to come there right away. So I grabbed my mom and off we went. Thank GOD for Deb. She gave us an amazing deal and a beautiful room. This place has an indoor pool, free snacks during the day and in the morning they have a HUGE continental breakfast. I mean HUGE! It was like going to a restaurant and ordering everything on the menu and not having to pay. They have free Wi-Fi and a sitting area in the lobby with a fireplace and a flat screen where people were sitting around and just chit chatting. It's in a convenient location...all kinds of restaurants around and shopping.PLEASE..if you are planning on visiting Concord, NH call the Fairfield Inn and make a reservation. You will NOT be disappointed. I can promise you that!
