Yelp
5 stars, zero questions asked. Fairholm does a fantastic job with cleanliness, making you feel at home, and amazing etiquette. They sure make you feel great! Splurge the extra money for a fantastic breakfast! We will recommend this location to everyone visiting PEI :)

Yelp
Lack of cleanliness is startling before getting the front door... this place needs a handyman at every inch... No elevator... Very noisy shower, No soap , just one small shampoo; sink with cracks; half the towels not clean. Everything in the room looks very "tired" and room cleaning left behind a lot of unfinished business I don't know if this should rate more than .5 star hotel

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay the first week of October at the Fairholm. It was a busy week with the Fall Flavours Festival on PEI and so much to enjoy; the check-in was super easy and convenient and the staff was extra accommodating in aiding my last-minute booking request and room change. The included breakfast was delightful-- both the staff and the food. We highly recommend this accommodation; quaint 'campus' style with the Inn buildings, walkable to restaurants and pier, and quiet. Lovely!

Yelp
Terrible service. Owner was threatening when asked to clean the copious amount of dead bugs from the room.

Yelp
We stayed at Fairholm one night during our honeymoon. We had the attic suite, which was quiet and spacious. The building is very neat and they have done a great job preserving things. The main streets of downtown are just a short walk away. The breakfast was good, though not spectacular. Overall it was a very pleasant place, conveniently located, and full of character.

Yelp
Stayed here for a wedding and it was so wonderful. Historic, beautiful inn in a great location within Charlottetown. The staff made us all feel truly at home and made us feel like family. Fresh muffins and cookies at our fingertips 24/7. Great breakfast. They made everyone's stay so special and all of us can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Okay, the only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is the breakfast. The breakfast is just alright, and not fantastic, so I have to hold back on that final star. Otherwise, this place is awesome. My husband and I stayed in the 3rd floor Brecken suite. It has everything you could want in a vacation room: king bed, gas fireplace, two TVs, a lounge area, A/C, 2-person jacuzzi tub with heated floors in the bathroom and separate shower, modern decor with a classic feel, huge full-length mirror and it occupies the entire 3rd floor so feels very private. It was our home away from home for 3 glorious nights. The shared living areas (a sunroom on the 2nd floor, and a breakfast/living room combination on the first floor) are spacious, updated, and great places to relax and eat. The breakfast was a little on the skimpy side and , while the food was fresh and tasted okay, it was not extraordinary. The innkeeper was very helpful, offering park day passes, beach chairs and towels, and local advice.
