Yelp
Excellent campground, but...
Water: You need to walk about 75 yards each time you want to fill up your water containers (at the bathrooms).
Showers: none. Fine with ME, because I find other ways to bathe, but if this is a deal-breaker for you, you've been warned.
Bathrooms: Cleanest of any campground bathrooms I've ever seen (but there's no soap at all - bring your own).
Campsites: The whole campground is on a hill, so each site is a little slanted. You'll need levelers for your trailer/sprinter, etc., and it's a gravel spot so your tent will be on gravel unless you have a good footprint to add.
View: Look up and you're going to notice that most of the campground is a tall canopy of maple trees with a few evergreens - very unique and very beautiful. It's also not easy to see the lake because the greenery blocks it unless you're in the walk-in sites.
Parking: PLENNNNNNNNNTY of parking and each site has a pretty wide sectoin to park 2 cars + your RV, etc.
Camp hosts: They leave everyone alone. The bathrooms get cleaned & restocked, but they don't meander through the park like Oregon State Parks people do, snearing at you and constantly checking on you.
Noise: Hwy 101 is right next to it, so you hear the highway, mufflers, etc., but this campground tends to attract quiet, well-mannered campers so you're going to sleep well.
Ice & firewood?: Yep, but the little general store's prices are about double the cost of a grocery store, so grab it before you arrive or you're going to pay a heck of a lot ($9.99 for a bundle of firewood).
Boat ramp: Gravel & super easy to launch, with 2 docks. This end of the lake is very windy so you'll end up with quite a chop and it'll blow you and your SUP or kayak pretty far away in no time, unless you're paying attention.
Cell/Wi-Fi: Verizon has 1 bar and I could text and call. Sprint/AT&T? No.
