"Few hotels can match the spectacle of Fairmont Baku, located high inside one of the city’s curving Flame Towers. From the dramatic crystal-lit lobby to rooms framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, this is a stay built to impress. Interiors are open and serene, with deep tubs, Le Labo bath products, and views that take in the Caspian Sea or the Old City’s rooftops. The two-floor spa, with its hammam and sky garden pool, offers a rare kind of stillness, just high enough to feel far from it all." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed 5 nights total. The staff were very accommodating and super nice. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the views were great. They upgraded us when we arrived which was unexpected.|The restaurant on the main floor (Le Bistro) offered both buffet breakfast and dinner which was overall good. Breakfast pastries could be a bit better but they offered a very good selection of foods for all nationalities. The restaurant staff were super nice especially Rashad (who brought out blankets in the evening when sitting outside) and Sabrina who was like a friend by the end of our stay.|The inside pools were a bit deeper (1.4 mt minimum) and colder (27°C) than expected but that could just be me. They offer a private swimming instructor for those with kids learning to swim if interested (fairly priced - enquire at spa services desk).|The only downside to the room we occupied was that it was run down. Stains on the marble, the tiles and the grout in the shower had heavy calcium deposits and it didn’t look very nice. Also the hot water took a LONG time to reach the taps - the bath tub tap took about 3-5 minutes for hot water to come through. |I would stay here again and recommend.

The rooms are decent but the overall service level on offer is not at par with 5 star hospitality at all. Upon checking-in at 1am, I found out that my room key reader did not work (great first impression!). This was highly inconvenient with kids and it took 30 mins before the staff moved me to a different room and I was not offered any compensation (in the form of an upgrade or any other freebie) for all the inconvenience caused. In addition, every time I called the main line with a request, it was only fulfilled after repeated follow-ups. There is also a general lack of attention to detail across the hotel. The bathroom had the entire shower gel bottle missing and the staff did not bother to replace it before a new guest checked-in. During one stay they forgot to provide any water bottles in the room. What makes a 5 star hotel is not just marble in the bathroom and fine linen, but also consistent high quality service and attention to detail that this property sadly misses…

Excellent hotel located in the towers - the landmark of Baku. The windows offer a beautiful view of the sea and the city. The rooms themselves are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. I also really liked the location. Although it is on a hill, you can get there by funicular (although it runs every 15 minutes) or by taxi without any problems. At the bottom of the hill is the old city - it is a 15-minute walk down the stairs through the park. Overall, I am very happy that I stayed there.

We only stayed for a single night but had a comfortable stay in our Deluxe Twin Room, Sea View room. The hotel is located away from the old city and many of the restaurants, so we decided to stay here when we arrived in the evening in Baku. Nonetheless, this is a top-quality hotel with all the amenities you would want from this type of hotel. The room was spacious enough for 2 people and the sea view was fantastic. Breakfast room was large with plenty of options. The gym and pool were impressive with great views of the city from these places. Staff were helpful and friendly. There are a few things to see close by, which would take a bit of walk to visit if you were located near the old town. So, I would recommend this hotel if you wanted to visit the monuments close by and for the great city view. If you are happy travel around Baku with Bolt (their uber equivalent) than staying at this hotel would not pose an issue.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel instantly welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful view from my window. What truly made the experience special was the attention to detail and exceptional service. The hotel offered a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, and the staff were always friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any request. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

I came to Bar 19 with my wife. I ordered the mozzarella salad — it was very delicious. We also ordered a medium-cooked ribeye steak, and it was excellent as well. The chef even came to our table personally. Everything was wonderful and tasty. Thank you very much for such excellent service!

I stayed at Fairmont Baku about a month ago and had a truly great experience. Nurlan at the reception was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. He really made our check-in and stay smooth and pleasant. Also, a young man named Rashid from the restaurant staff went out of his way to help me find a herbal remedy when I wasn’t feeling well — I really appreciated his kindness. In general, all the staff were very welcoming and warm, both at the reception and in the restaurant. It’s a pity I don’t know all their names, but they were all amazing. I’d definitely love to visit again!
