"The Fairmont Nile only opened in 2010, but there’s a touch of old-school glamour to its grand twin towers, which sit right on the banks of the river Nile. The feeling persists in the 542 rooms, which nod to Art Deco with their elegant cream and black palette and high gloss wood furnishings. There are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from serving international cuisine, with a more local taste of Egypt at the colorful Bab El Nile, which also puts on a program of live entertainment. The wellbeing offering includes spa treatments, a fitness room, and sauna, plus a hair and nail salon, whilst up on the 25th floor you’ll find the outdoor Sky Pool with Cairo city views." - Tablet Hotels

We really enjoyed our two stays at this hotel. On arriving we were impressed by the sense of luxury and calmness. The staff greeted us, made us feel welcome and took charge of our luggage. The check-in process was efficient and friendly. One our first stay (three nights) we had a large room on a high floor overlooking the river. It was clean and well equipped; for the second overnight stay between flights, our room was on a lower floor - a little smaller but just as comfortable. The breakfast buffet is generous with lots of choice. We ate dinner in the Champagne Bar as we found it more informal and relaxing than the restaurants. But we did go to Bab El Nil for dinner one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I stayed at the Fairmont Hotel in Cairo for a few days in December 2025, and my experience was truly amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite, which made my stay even more special. From the moment I arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming, warm, and caring, and they really made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Housekeeping was excellent. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the gentleman who cleaned the room, but he did an outstanding job. The room was cleaned so thoroughly that it felt almost like it was prepared for a new guest every day — truly impressive. The room service was incredible, available 24 hours, and the food was absolutely delicious. This really added to the comfort and convenience of my stay. Although the restaurant was a bit crowded in the morning and I was expecting a bit more variety, the overall breakfast buffet was still a great experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend the Fairmont Cairo for its comfort, panorama, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality. I would definitely stay there again.

This was my third time staying here and every stay has been incredible. I have stayed at many Fairmont hotels and other luxury brands, but the service at Fairmont NileCity is above and beyond every other hotel. The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning - especially the rooftop pool and spa. If you have the opportunity to use the Gold Lounge, it is incredible. Three amazing meals and buffet each day plus some live music (harp player) on some of the evenings. I cannot say enough incredible things about this hotel. I will definitely be back!

A perfect experience.. we Absolutely loved everything about our stay in Cairo. Travelled for vacation, with 3 kids. Complementary Upgrad to a suite, the room was spacious HUGE with panoramic views of the Nile River. Loved everything about this hotel, the service was excellent. The food in the breakfast buffet was fresh delicious and so much variety, the lounge drinks and snacks too. The location is great close to a mall, great restaurants on the corniche and a short drive to all the ancient sites and tours we did in Cairo.

As someone who travels the world and stays in top-tier hotels regularly, I can say without hesitation that the Fairmont Nile City is the best. It’s genuinely a home from home. The warmth and hospitality here are remarkable, and the staff treat me like family, something you don’t get in most luxury hotels. Gamal and his team are outstanding, the Gold Lounge staff organise everything effortlessly, and the hotel’s drivers are professional, knowledgeable, and make moving around Cairo far easier. Nothing is ever too much trouble. When I’m in Cairo for business, this is the one place I feel completely looked after. It’s safe, reliable, and consistently exceptional. Outstanding in every sense.

I recently stayed at the amazing Fairmont hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met. The rooms were luxurious and offered stunning views of the city. Having breakfast at the hotel's restaurants was a delight, featuring a wide range of cuisines prepared to perfection. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort and excellent service in the heart of Cairo."

This hotel was amazing. The staff were amazing we were so well taken care of. Would definitely come back. We landed super early at 2am and although checkin is later they worked extremely hard for us to get a room so we didn’t have to sit in the lobby for several hours. Breakfast was amazing. Service was amazing. Staff were amazing and kind. Would definitely come back.

Booked 2 rooms here - hotel itself is great. Staff is great. However they have a band that plays 3-4 nights a week and the noise from is will not let you sleep. It starts at 11pm and goes on until almost 5am. We called the manager requesting them to reduce the volume etc - nothing is done. Impossible to get rest even if you use ear plugs. Makes your day very tiring especially if you have tours planned daily in Cairo. They needed to sound proof their club room. Not worth the money you spend if you can’t even get any rest.
