Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana

Very impressed. The best Fairmount we have ever stayed in. Excellent room and restaurant. Friendly and efficient service especially at breakfast with stunning views over the beach. Edna was particularly friendly and helpful at breakfast time. Food in the pool bar was of a very high quality and a beautiful place to unwind after a busy day. The Concierge was particularly helpful when we wanted to take a taxi to the Botanical Gardens.

This hotel is spectacular. I would really suggest treating your stay here as more of a resort getaway because there are so many things to enjoy. First, the beach. The stretch of beach in front of the hotel is a quieter part near the Fort, and the Fairmont has a private area with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels where you can enjoy a luxurious and stress-free experience relaxing, swimming, and even enjoy drinks and food. ||There there are the pools and the views of Copacabana. Lounge chairs, good cocktails, good food--can you imagine anything better? After the sun sets, the pool area becomes more of an outdoor cocktail lounge with live music and the warm night air of Rio. The only downside is that the pools close early (6 PM), and once you're enjoying yourself, even the bar's 12 AM closing time feels early. ||If this were not enough, the on-site restaurant, Marine Restô is among the most creative and delectable in the city, and has some outdoor seating as well. Everything about the hotel, though, is delightful. The 6th floor lobby is modern, comfortable, and has some nice options for coffee and pastries. The spa is terrific. Service is kind, gracious, and welcoming. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. Terrific all around. You not only don't want to leave, you want to return here for a bit of luxury on every trip to Rio.

We came for a wedding and it was a great choice for all of the guests. This was a great location to walk around, go sightseeing, and have beautiful views of Rio. The quality of the food and pool is great. Rooms were a bit small but manageable. |Staff very friendly and helpful. The beach is so crowded, but Fairmont provided a private area for their guests with chairs, towels and water. It was very much needed with the crowds. They are associated with other beach clubs in different beaches so definitely inquire about that. We booked a tour through the hotel and it was great. Overall very great and safe experience.

It was my third stay at this lovely hotel. Everything is great here, from rooms amenities to public areas and design. But for me the best part is the breakfast restaurant. Both the view and the staff. They treat the guests as a king! I feel I have many friends there, like Renata, Edna, Igor and Dani. Always I like to come back to this hotel and meet them again.

It’s perfectly situated, making it easy to explore the best of Rio. Major attractions like Copacabana Beach, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Christ the Redeemer are all just a short distance away. Plus, the area feels safe and vibrant, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby.||What really sets this hotel apart are the breathtaking views. My room offered a stunning panorama of the city, with iconic landmarks and the ocean stretching out before me.

Hugo, who served us during our honeymoon at the poolside, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed, from refreshing drinks to comfortable loungers, ensuring our stay was enjoyable and stress-free. His warm demeanor and proactive approach to our comfort left a lasting impression, and we were grateful for his excellent service throughout our romantic getaway.
