First time visiting this spa to celebrate my wedding anniversary (alone), and it was such a great experience! From the reception to the cleaning staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I had an RMT massage with Naomi, and, it was honestly the best massage I’ve ever had! I saw some negative reviews here, but my experience was nothing like that. I arrived a bit early and enjoyed the hot tub and steam sauna before my treatment. The weather was perfect, and since it was a weekday, it was quiet and peaceful. I even had the hot tub all to myself for a while. I’ll definitely be back before the summer is gone.

Always a fabulous time here! Great amenities especially in the women’s area. They have a separate private lounge for women in addition to the co-ed lounge areas. Plenty of nooks to hang around with your friends. Love the private cabanas. You can order food to arrive before or after your spa treatment. Overall, expect to stay a couple hours to get the full relaxing experience. I usually spend about 4ish hours here with a 90 minute treatment. This would include time before and after treatment to use the amenities and to shower and freshen up.

What an amazing spa! The minute we walked we were greeted by Jackie who went an above and beyond to make our experience so memorable and positive for my friend’s mini local bachelorette! She took photos of us in a private area away from guests so that other guests were not disturbed and showed us so much kindness in our time with her! Highly recommend this spa ❤️

I really enjoyed my experience at Nordic Spa and Willow Spa at Fairmont Pacific Rim. I did minus 1 star is because I wish there are more steam rooms at spa. We could use 90min at the Nordic Spa which was upper floor and then we had another 90min to use at the spa on the 5th floor for a total of 3 hours. The Nordic Spa has an outdoor pool and dry sauna, with cold dips. I thought 3 hours are enough to stay but needed more!!! But I will come back.

I booked two massages and upgraded to the Nordic spa experience ($40) on November 5th for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. It was meant to be a special, relaxing day, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. About two hours before our appointment, we received a call saying Deck 6 (where the pool and Nordic spa experience are) was closed due to high winds. There really wasn’t any wind that day, but we took their word for it. Since that’s half of the facilities we had paid to use, we asked if we could reschedule for another day, but the receptionist said Deck 5 was still open with lounge chairs, a mineral pool, and a hot tub, and that they would give us a complimentary Nordic spa pass for another day as compensation. We agreed and decided to go. When we arrived, Deck 5 was technically “open,” but nothing was actually set up. There were no seat cushions, the fire pits were covered, and there were no staff around to take food or drink orders. The mineral pool and hot tub had bugs floating in them and looked poorly maintained. The facility itself feels old and worn down. not what you’d expect for the $567 we paid. We both booked the Stress Relief massage with firm pressure, but the massages were extremely light. it honestly just felt like they were grazing our backs. We each asked for firmer pressure, which lasted maybe two minutes before returning to the same light touch. It was disappointing and didn’t feel like a professional treatment. To make matters worse, we later found out from a Fairmont resident that Deck 6 was actually open and that they were just there, despite what we were told. It’s hard not to feel like we were misled, possibly because they were short-staffed and didn't have anyone to monitor the nordic spa. On top of that, the men’s steam room has apparently been broken for months, a feature that’s supposed to be included in the price but still isn’t available. We ended up leaving early. Before I left, I went to the front desk to confirm that the complimentary Nordic spa pass was added to my account, but the receptionist looked confused and said there was no record of it. She said she would “look into it,” but after the experience we had, I’m not confident anything will be done. Overall, we paid full price for what felt like half the facilities being available, and the quality didn’t come close to matching the premium prices. What was supposed to be a relaxing birthday celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing day. I wouldn’t recommend this spa unless major improvements are made.

Thank you Justin Graham for an absolutely beautiful signature massage. I felt transported to another realm! Just after our session I had health issue flare, and the entire Fairmont Spa team showed me genuine concern and very kind care. Looking very forward to coming back in the new year and checking out the renovated facilities.

Honestly, fine at best - I wouldn't bother going again. It was okay because going to a spa is inherently nice, and at least the food was good (the cocktail was not), but other than that, it really did not live up to my expectations or compare to the other spas I've been to like Tigh na Mara. The mandatory 18% gratuity is a shameless money grab and based on my experience, I would not have tipped at all. I came in person to book, and the first receptionist I spoke with said that the Nordic experience (which is supposed to come with 1 hour of the Nordic circuit and 2 hours of access to the Willow Spa) did not come with access to the spa. I went downstairs to reread the website and ended up booking online where it clearly said it did include them. However, because of that staff member's error I was only going to have two hours total instead of three. I booked one of their 8:00 p.m. slots for the Nordic experience, which therefore only left 1 hour for the rest of the spa which closes at 10:00 p.m. By 9:25, the staff were taking away all of the snacks, tea and water stations and were focused on making sure I knew that they closed at 10:00, including the showers and everything - they were really rushing me out of there, so I didn't really get to enjoy what little time I had in the spa anyway. The Nordic experience unfortunately doesn't really add much other than gets you access to the spa if you aren't booking a different treatment. It's just a cedar barrel sauna and a couple of bathtubs for cold plunges on the pool deck of the hotel. The main spa has a sauna already (although the Nordic one is cedar), so the only real added element is the cold plunge. There is also no shower for cycling between the sauna and cold plunge which is odd for this kind of facility you're where you're normally expected to rinse off after the sauna because of sweat. The two lights at the Nordic experience kept dying too so I was stuck in the dark whenever I wasn't in the sauna. At least the Nordic circuit worker was lovely, although she showed up late for my appointment which cut into my time especially once I filled out the waiver and such. The "mineral pool" is just a second hot tub. Both hot tubs are very small, and not really hot, just warm. There are no change rooms aside from the two showers and two washroom stalls, and many of the lockers are just in the main hallway when you enter the change room, so there isn't even a little bit of privacy. There are no swimsuit dryers like there are in other spas. The staff that was rushing me out gave me a compost bag for my swimsuit which was sort of nice I guess? The only part that really lived up to my expectations were the indoor lounges.

One of my favorite spas in Vancouver! Located inside the Fairmont Pacific Rim, this spa is so relaxing and wonderful. Service is great and the facilities are clean and well stocked. There’s a locker for all your stuff, clean showers, indoor steam room, two hot tubs, a gorgeous outdoor seating area, a peaceful indoor seating area and lots of snacks and teas. I got a facial and my skin felt so soft after. I always feel so zen after the experience and always look forward to more rest and relaxation at Willow Steam.

Yelp
Best spa to use up those extended health benefits! You can stay up to two hours outside of your service to use the amenities. The RMT massages are always so good.

Yelp
I won a small gift certificate from work for the spa and decided to visit it last week. I booked the brightening facial. Included in a spa service is 2 hours of use in the facility which included a hot tub, mineral pool, steam and sauna room. The facilities were immaculate and very clean. I found the steam room my favorite as it had a window to look outside which was unique. I booked on a weekday as the costs are slightly lower. My appointment was in the evening and it was still fairly busy for a weekday. It was mostly couples in the pools which made me feel a little awkward to interrupt and join as their third person. It was probably my first facial in about 10 years. While I care about my skin I've never found facials did enough to validate the cost. The service was very nice (I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at one point). Lots of steaming, extractions, massaging, and masks. I opted for the additional add on's - guasha and hair treatment as well (yolo). There is an auto grat of 18% which is a lot but expected (it's mentioned at the time of booking very clearly. The whole thing was over $300 CAD. Would I do it again? Probably not. I think I'd rather spend my money elsewhere but if you can afford the luxury and enjoy the pampering willow stream might be the spot for you.

Yelp
My first experience here was not memorable as I forgot I've visited here before! Having gone to many other spas in this category, the Willow stream is definitely one of the best. The dedicated women's waiting area, the showers and amenities really add an extra touch. The luxurious fairmont sheets are so cozy and the full massage process was very relaxing. Only regret, not getting 90 mins instead of 60. I love how you have access to the outdoor area - stream/hot pools/lounge as well as the rest and relaxation area before and after your treatment. It's a really nice way to spend a couple hours to decompress before heading back into the real world.

Yelp
Happy to update this review after a decade away. The manager reached out when my initial review was written, and I finally made the time to return with some friends for a 40th birthday. We had a great time, and were able to experience the Nordic spa as well as the regular facility. Staff were attentive and friendly, facilities were pristine and comfortable. I hope to re-visit sooner next time!

Yelp
I tried other spas but Willow Stream keeps me coming back. I believe in "you get what you pay for" and I love me so I don't cheap out on myself! The service is excellent and very courteous and friendly. The reception area is dimly lit and smells of lavender which takes you to the feeling of relaxation and calmness. They recently changed their system so even if you've been here before you would be asked to fill in an electronic form on a tablet. While you do that you will be offered tea. Male and female clients have different entrances and have their own lounges. However couples can be together in the co-ed lounge. The lounge offers a variety of snacks, tea and fruit infused water. You wait in the lounge until your masseuse comes and take you to your private room. I've been here 4 times now and all masseuse were good. She listens to your concerns and tries to address all of it. The massage room is very clean, dimly lit and the bed is heated and can be adjusted to the temperature you like. The massage itself was heavenly. Too bad I can stay longer on the bed. Once the massage was over, you are encourage to drink lots of fluid and rest for 10-15 minutes before going to the infrared sauna or hot tub. You can rest in the lounge or the outside patio. My overall experience has always been lovely in this spa. The price for the 60 minute massage is worth it. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

Yelp
I love this spa in the summer ... great patio with excellent areas outside to rest. However ... I keep on making the mistake coming in the winter when it's raining and there's no outside space. This will be my fair weather spa! Pros: Great amenities when the weather is nice Pretty solid practitioners Experience shower, steam room, sauna, hot tub In and out privileges Professional and easy to book Cons: Quite pricey for what you get No pool! Dated dark decor inside No patio covering (can't go outside lounge when it's raining) Snack and tea supply is really limited Food service is poor- over priced, slow and not a lot of selection

Yelp
I have yet to have a treatment. The spa is too small, open to the public and not exclusive to hotel guests which is a big dissappointment. They are so busy I had to have a call back to my room. It is probably not so much the services but the fact that it is so small you have to call 4 weeks in adavnce. I do not like competing with outside guests as I am paying a premium to be in my room in this 5 star hotel. I will keep you posted if I ever get an appt. They are short staffed as no one ever even reached out to me and I do expect that to have improved by now.

Yelp
BLISS! Willow Stream Spa was truly a delight! I treated my mom to a birthday massage and I decided to purchase the day pass. The day pass allows you to to use the spa facility and the gym for the whole day! So I got to enjoy my time with my mother before and after her massage. The view of the outside Jacuzzi is spectacular! You get to look at the beautiful city buildings and the massive cruise ship at the harbor. Even though I did not get a massage, I felt extremely relaxed by just using the amenities. The eucalyptus room and the dry sauna weren't as big as I thought it would be but still relaxing and rejuvenating. If you still want to be pampered without breaking your wallet, I would highly recommend getting the spa day pass. My mother is used to the cheap local $30 massages and she said her experience with her masseuse was incomparable. Tip: If it is raining / cold when using the outdoor Jacuzzi, put your robe and towel in the dry sauna so you have a nice warm towel ready for you when you get out of the water. The Goods: - They offer an array of assorted nuts, fruits, and granola bars - Front desk staff were amazing! They made my mom feel like a superstar! - 1 super innovative and high tech shower Aiight: - Pretty pricey Whaaack: - None Whereabouts: It is located at the Fairmont Hotel and easy to access. If you are not staying at the hotel, I would highly recommend getting dropped off because parking is very expensive in the nearby area.

Yelp
Pure bliss is the best way to describe my experience. The price tag is completely justified with the bells and whistles the spa offers. The waiting area is dimly lit and very peaceful - they do have lockers to check your phone in if you want to, but I just left it in my room and immersed myself completely in the relaxing experience. You can order yourself food and drink while you wait, in addition to enjoying the snack and tea bar in the waiting area. The steam room was Amazing, as was the hydrotherapy shower. The massage rooms are subtly lit and have a very calming vibe - they even let you choose the background sound you'd like to listen to during your massage! Taylor is great at her job and I would definitely come back here, specifically for her service.

Yelp
I went to Willow stream Spa for a day of relaxation and self love! Had such a good time. I went in for a massage with Melodie. It was so relaxing. I slept through it. They have a steam room, jacuzzi, infrared sauna, hydro shower with a patio viewing the waterfront. Includes an assortment of snacks and fruit infused water. Waiting to visit again!

Yelp
Hands down the best spa in Vancouver. If you need to relax and rejuvenate, this is the place! I've been for pedicures and massages and they have both exceeded my expectations. I recently had a pregnancy massage and they have the perfect cushion to put under your belly so you can lay comfortably without any pressure. It was perfect. I highly suggest giving yourself extra time when you come for your service. I prefer coming in the evening. It is so nice to sit around the fire pits in your robe, enjoy the hot tub, sauna and steam room. Definitely put Willowstream on your list of Spas to visit whether you are vacationing in Vancouver or if you are a local!

Yelp
Horrible, horrible experience. Something came up last minute and I was unable to go to the appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, they will still charge you for the FULL AMOUNT! Not a cancellation fee but for the full amount. I have benefits from my job, so at least I thought I could submit it as a claim, since I paid for the service. But apparently this is not possible because I wasn't at the appointment and that's the "value of the service," as said by Jake Coventry, the spa supervisor. Not only was Jake rude, but he was condescending and disrespectful throughout this entire experience for someone who paid $200+. With so many great spas in the city, I would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Shirley Q.

Yelp
Another great experience. They don't overbook guests so it's not too crowded. Loved the infrared sauna, mineral hot tub, steam room and Jo-Ann's perfect RMT massage. Firm pressure. Checked in but not too much. Treatment room was perfectly quiet. Now, if you help some guests decrease the volume of their convos on the lounge, it would be perfect! Oh and a clock outside too.

Yelp
Literally the best spa experience we have ever had and we have been to a lot!!! Of spas all over !!! We will come to this spa from now on, the front desk was more then accommodating , service providers yuki and Allison were spot in exactly what we wanted out of our services , the lounge area was the best we have been to! Or at least very close!!!

Yelp
As you might have guessed from my recent reviews, I've been disappointed in many businesses as of late. Willow lifted my spirits, and I now declare it the #1 spa and "staycation" getaway in the city. This, after doing much research and being disappointed by so many others. I felt welcomed from the time that I arrived and from everyone with whom I made contact--from the receptionist on the phone, to the one who greeted me, to both valet attendants. Make sure you tip them, tho. Just a few cons to note--or this experience would surely have been a five. The massage was slightly disappointing at only 50 minutes when I was promised an hour, and the "rainforest" shower didn't actually work. I was looking forward to both of these perks the most. The massage was so enjoyable that I really would have relished that extra 10 minutes, but I guess their policy is knock off 10 minutes from the time you change to when you say "hello". A bit lame from a high end spa, but the facial I had made up for this, somewhat. Pros-Everything else was divine. Every technician was upbeat and professional. The salon was near spotless. The patio, hot tubs and seating rooms were luxurious and relaxing. There was a vast array of teas, and what I thought was a "fruit" drink was actually a refreshing steeped tea. Granola bar "bits" were tasty although it would have added an extra touch to offer some cheese, crackers and fruit as I've seen at other spas throughout N. America. The robes and towels were clean and plentiful; even the weather was perfect. I did not bring a suit for the hot tub, but at least I could soak my legs and pretend to actually watch tv. I was told that they'd usually bring out a glass of wine for the guests, but I didn't really see anyone when I was outside, and I suspect they were winding down for the night. Still, I preferred the solo time and almost felt as if I owned the place. The staff made it all worthwhile, and managing to book on a less than busy day made the experience that much more enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely return to this spa; I just wish they'd factor in a few extra minutes for their customers who don't need a lot of "talk" and "dress" time when waiting for their technicians. By giving just a little bit "extra" this spa could easily be a five.

Yelp
TIP: Go to Costco and buy the "WaySpa" gift cards, which get you $100 in Willow Stream Spa services for $75. They can also be used to cover the tax and tip! I came with 4 friends for a girls afternoon. Service was wonderful and staff were attentive. Having the snacks and beverages around for guests to enjoy was a nice touch. On the day we visited the weather was a bit iffy but we still managed to get in some quality hot tub and deck lounging time. Overall the facilities are generally well kept, but a bit on the small side (really, you can only fit 2 people in the sauna and 5-6 in the jacuzzi/hot tub). The one exception was the steam room which, when we entered was not steamy at all and thus revealed a lot of grime! The services we received were excellent. I had the Energy Deep Cleanse facial which I thoroughly enjoyed and left glowing! My 3 friends all had massages, and everyone agreed that they were wonderful. Overall it was a very good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. It's a pricey spa, but using the WaySpa gift cards made the services affordable and saved our group $200!

Yelp
One of the best spa facilities I've ever visited. Willow Stream Spa is located inside the Pacific Rim Hotel and whether you're a local or a tourist, it's worth a visit. A few girlfriends booked for RMT massages, while I booked myself for a pregnancy massage and it was heaven. My massage therapist was amazing and worked on my sore back to relieve all my tensions and knots. She made sure I was comfortable and gave me a few pointers for dealing with carrying all my extra weight. This spa had special pregnancy pillows to ensure I can still lay on my front as well as a heating rack to hang my robe. The change rooms were clean and the lockers had electronic locks instead of physical keys. The waiting or lounge areas consisted of 2 rooms where you can have some snacks or refreshments while reading. There are outdoor facilities while waiting where you can take a nap, lounge in one of the many cabana-like seating or relax in their hot tub. All this while overlooking the Vancouver Harbour, -I suggest showing up earlier to enjoy the experience.

Yelp
Went here for a 90 min deep tissue massage and I have to say, the RMT was great and she did an amazing job. I just don't think this place was worth the $300 I paid for the treatment. First off, the hot tub outside was Luke warm, the "infrared sauna" was actually half infrared and half a regular sauna. The door to the sauna was not sealed well and there was a serious draft entering room (which was tiny and only big enough for 3 people). Second off. The masseuse was late to start my massage (only by 3-5 min) but still. When your paying $300 you want to be in the room and already laying down ready to go at the agreed time. Not in the room changing and getting ready so by the time your laying down it's 10 mins after the agreed start time. Third off. We finished the massage and I got to the change room to find she had finished me 15 mins earlier than my 90 Min! I don't understand why I would have paid $300 ($360 including tax and my valet parking) for a 90 min massage when by the time we started late and finished early it was only a 70 min massage. Pretty bad when your paying $4/min. So basically lost $80 total in what should have been massage time. Once again, staff was great and She did a great job but was not impressed with facilities or the fact that I paid for 90 min massage at an extremely high rate and only got 75 min. Don't think I will be coming back.

Yelp
Utter DISAPPOINTMENT! In short: poor customer service, small change rooms, constantly busy, does not focus on quality spa service. Wanted to book an appointment by phone since I had questions and wanted to inquire with staff first before coming. Could not get through over a period of 2 days, calling at different times, because no one picks up the phone. Finally got through to book an appointment, the staff member hung up in the middle of our conversation to pick up an incoming call instead of putting me on hold (I will assume it's an honest mistake). I call back, they're busy, so I leave my number with another spa receptionist. Waited a day, no call back. I resort to making my appointment online. At this point I was hesitant to actually keep my appointment. My massage was booked for a weekday. I came on a sunny morning in October. I arrived and was greeted by a new staff member who is courteous, but the person training her is pretentious and cold. I proceed to the changing room which is extremely tiny and cramped. The hot tubs, outdoor patio, steam room, sauna, and experience shower were the amenities that the spa encourages you to take advantage of. The outdoor area is only open weather permitting, ie. when the weather is clear. I wanted to lounge in the outdoor area and use the hot tubs but even at 10:00 am, there were couples everywhere. The hot tub is small and I would rather not join a couple making out in the hot tub. Not my idea of R&R. The signature massage was completely underwhelming. A one hour massage is more like 40 minutes because the one hour includes time for you to get settled in the room, the therapist getting the oils ready, getting dressed to leave the treatment room etc. The massage itself... it was not like a Swedish massage, I can't explain it, but it was not memorable or relaxing. There are refreshments available such as dried fruit, nuts, tea, and water. Nothing to write home about. I am honestly surprised at the high rating. There are plenty of other spas in Vancouver with better service. Do not fall for corporate "name brand" spas that rely on their reputation and not their service. If you want photos to show off on social media and be in a supposedly high end spa because it feeds your ego, this is the place for you. If you are looking for good customer and spa service, I would recommend other spas. They are plenty busy and do not give a damn about doing a good job.
google avatar

Yelp
I've never had a massage, at least not the RMT kind that comes with your work benefits. After my experience at Willow Stream Spa, I think I would be using my RMT benefits more often. I had an amazing experience, from the greeting at the front desk to touring their facilities and enjoying them! It was a very relaxing experience and I highly recommend pampering yourself at the spa, at least once! My RMT was amazing, at the end of my session, he also showed me ways that I can stretch my neck and shoulders at the office. Great facilities and great staff :)

Yelp
If you're looking for a true spa experience, Willow Stream is the best I have found in Vancouver so far. Gentle spa music everywhere, dim lighting, cozy robes and lockers that are half sized in height, but deep enough to store all your goodies. In each, the men's and ladies' sections, there is a steam room, showers, washrooms, etc but on the ladies' side there is also a 'shower experience'. Unfortunately someone else was hogging it every time I checked to have my turn and it is for private use, not communal and there is only one. I saw the instructions and there are a bunch of settings and hot/cold features and I heard it is awesome so hopefully next time! The ladies' and men each have a private seating area with complimentary teas, fruits, nuts, snacks and then there is also a common seating room with some of the same but both sexes can enjoy together. There is also a big patio with cabana pod-like chairs that swivel around for privacy (so comfy!). Bring a swimsuit and enjoy the hot tubs, there are two to choose from and one even has a TV so you don't have to miss out on the World Cup games! Just passed the hot tubs is an infra-red sauna. I've only ever done massages here as that's my go-to spa thing, and they are amazing. I can't recommend any specific therapist and so far I've tried two, as has my partner, and they were all really good. The spa beds are the best with a heating pad, fully adjustable (you don't even have to sit up after! The bed does it all for you!) and comfortable. After you're done, in the ladies' change room there are two vanity tables with blow dryer, hair spray, gel and brushes so you can get ready for your next event!

Yelp
This spa is amazing! Has instantly become my most favourite spa in Vancouver. Tops absolute spa and spa utopia. A must visit when you want a relaxing afternoon. Don't forget your bathing suit. Things to enjoy include: hot tub x2, Infared sauna, steam room & exotic shower!! This shower was off the record! shower rain head and more jets from all angles. Even shot out cold water "cause it's detoxifying..." Staff were very nice. Spa is 5 years new. So all the facilities are neat, clean and modern. Loved it. **except the steam room tiles can use a bit of a scrub down. The grout was turning blackish.... Oh and maybe they should offer more than water or detoxifying drink after the treatment.., ie offer a glass of wine like other spas... But maybe I'm just getting too picky

Yelp
Simply the best. The Willow Stream Spa is modern elegance. Full amenities provided- and full access to the spa services for 24 hours of the day of your appointment. Guests of the Pacific Rim have 24/7 access. Service rendered: 60 min RMT massage I arrived aprox 1 hour early to take advantage of the fantastic spa services; steam room, shower and men's lounge area where you can enjoy complimentary lemon water, tea, fruit and sweets. The atmosphere is calming and tranquil with classical music and lower lighting in the lounge area. Showers are private individual closet-like rooms with a seperate locker area to securely store your personal belongings in combination lockers. My massage was personalized to my needs as determined by my RMT and I. Compared to other massages and spas - the Willow Stream out shines them all! I left feeling amazing and wanting to book my next visit. If you find yourself in Vancouver and are fortunate enough to indulge in a spa day- be sure that it's at the Pacific Rim Willow Stream Spa.

Yelp
My issue with this spa wasn't the service (massage was outstanding) or the staff (friendly and professional), but with the atmosphere. Most high-end spas, at check-in, will let you know that no electronics are allowed, talking should be low volume, and other such rules to make it a oasis. Not this place! From the bridal party drinking wine in the hot tub to the beer cans littered around the men's change room, this place felt like a motel swimming pool and not one of the best spas in North America. It would be nice if there were some rules around the behaviour of guests. After checking-in, there are no staff around and it turns into a free for all. Apart from the safety hazards (wine glass + slippery surface + tipsy bridesmaids), it just was not relaxing to have to listen to people yelling across the patio or having loud conversations in the lounges.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this spa! The setting and decor is so serene. If you have the day off, I would highly recommend setting aside a few hours to lounge around and enjoy the many amenities they offer. You could even return back to enjoying the amenities after your treatment! I'm quite confident that any treatment you opt for will be luxurious - mine was amazing. I found the atmosphere to be very relaxing - peaceful enough that I even had a successful study session on their comfy lounge chairs. I went on a weekday after work and it wasn't too busy which I appreciated. They serve a few snacks, a variety of fruit-infused water, and also have options for food as well. In terms of price, it IS a tad pricier than most spas in Vancouver.. but for the amenities you get to enjoy I think it's worth it. You have access to the hot tubs, infrared sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy shower and a pretty satisfying gym. I would personally recommend using their gym & getting a good workout, relax with their amenities and unwind with a fantastic massage. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of my masseuse, but she was AMAZING. Her technique was outstanding, and I could tell that she was highly skilled in terms of getting rid of tension on my back. Not only was it relaxing, but beneficial as well. I personally think that the massages I've had in Asia are the best I've ever experienced, but I think I've FINALLY found a place that offers massages that are comparable, if not better. Highly recommend this place if you need to pamper yourself!

Yelp
The amenities are great. There are two hair stations equipped with blowdryer and straightener, two washroom stalls, two regular showers and then the experience shower (see picture). Lockers are digital for the women's side, so you can choose your own 4 digit combo. Women's only lounge has a large sofa, 4 lounge chairs and a fireplace. The outdoor space is large. They have a lot of place to sit outside, but when Vancouver rains (which is quite often), women are stuck with the female only lounge or the common area lounge. This is really annoying when one is trying to read and other spa-goers were "blah blah-blah blah"-ing loudly nearby and the reader just wants to ... her. So, yeah, go when it's sunny or else you'll be stuck with a cockatoo right next to you. Not there fault, so no points deducted. The treatment rooms were large, but my treatment table was making cracking noise every time the RMT applies pressure. So, it was *relax* *craaaaccck*....*relax*....*crack* We asked for 2 male RMTs, but they don't have 2 for us, so they gave us 2 female RMTs. They were ok...but the pressure is still not as firm as male RMTs. 1 point deducted for the cracking noise and no male RMTs.

Yelp
If you book a spa massage session, you get access to all the amenities as well for the entire day which includes gym, steam room, out door hot tub and sauna. I definitely recommend this option if you can get an RMT appointment.

Yelp
I had an amazing Rmt Massage from Asa, I will be back to see her for sure! The facilities are perfect, from the beautiful interior designs down to the spacious wooden lockers. From check in with a walk through showing you the facilities to the infrared sauna and interior lounge areas. Lots of towels, staff always coming through to refresh the cold face cloths and keep plenty of water glasses and plates in stock for the tasty infused waters and nuts and fruits. The experience shower was really nice, I now wish my home shower had a mist feature! The products stocked in the bathrooms smelled great, herby and fresh. They have two getting ready areas with hair dryers, curling irons and flat irons and clean brushes and hair spray. The valet price for spa (15.00) is super reasonable. I'd like to try it in the summer as it was too cold/ spitting for patio lounging, but the sofa near the fire was really nice. I couldn't believe the view from the womens steam room, looking right over the sails/convention centre. I will come back for sure.

Yelp
Recommend calling ahead to see if the deck seating areas will be open, without them it's not worth paying the entrance fee :) Facilities were sufficient for a short visit, but if you're looking for best value, somewhere to spend the day, and have the time to get there, consider Scandinave. Pictures online showed a readers paradise to rest and even sleep in comfort in big lounge type chairs with heating lamps. I had high hopes for my restful visit. Overall once I got home my initial impression and ending feelings were the same. I was very disappointed! On a positive note: The music was peaceful and relaxing Strawberry mint ice water was lovely Enjoyed the iced face cloths The dried fruit and nuts table with tea was nice My Rmt was good In review: Was there a sauna, steam room and hot tub? Yes, two smallish hot tubs and one small sauna in the co ed area and a medium sized steam room in the ladies only lounge (Can't speak for the men's only area but I'm guessing it's similar) Access to cold water showers or pool? Not really - could only find one shower that could give me full temperature range Was there beautiful and comfortable places to lounge between treatments? No. Both outdoor lounge areas were shut down. Unsure if only open seasonally? Inside was formal seating. Was there access to drinking water? Mostly. Outside water fountain was not working. Were spaces clean and up kept? Mostly Were staff courteous? Absolutely Were facilities upkept? Mostly. Maintenance did appear to be needed in most areas. 3.5/7

Yelp
Expensive and just ok. RMT used her elbow massaging me hard on my right back shoulder. I ask for water and give me cold water bottle. I wasn't feeling well after couple of days - it felt like she did me hard on my right shoulder and it hurt almost for a week. Their steam room isn't working due to Covid

Yelp
What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon at a beautiful spa for a staycation getaway. What I love the most about the experience is the extensive amenities and the quality of the service. I came here for a 60 min massage, and ended up staying for 3-4 hours. It is advised that you arrive at least an hour early to enjoy the facility. They have a great change room with plenty of lockers, and you are provided with a robe and a pair of slippers for the duration of your stay. In the change room, you have access to a special shower, a steam room and a lounge area where you can get ready. I'm the ladies only lounge, you can relax before or after your treatment where they have different flavour of tea and spa water, and some light snacks such as nuts and dried fruit and energy bars. You can also order off the a la carte off the menu if you wish. Outside, there is a beautiful patio where you can hang out on a sunny day, 2 outdoor hot tubs(availability depending on weather) and a small-ish sauna. Feel free to enjoy all the amenities during your stay to really get a full complete spa experience. One comment though is that the 60 min appointment was actually only around a 45 min massage as they take into consideration the initial consult with the therapist and any specific requests in the beginning. Another thing is that they seem to book their appointments back-to-back and you feel like you are rushed out of the room as soon as your time is up. However, this is definitely a wonderful way to spend the afternoon relaxing, what a treat to have an urban oasis like this in the middle of downtown Vancouver.

Yelp
This is the best spa in vancouver for not only the amazing services but the spa facilities/amenities!! Yes the treatments are on the pricier side, but you get access to the hot tubs, outdoor lounging pods, infrared sauna, steam room, experience shower and indoor lounge room which includes delicious healthy snacks! I always spend at least 4 hours here so I can maximize my time and take advantage of everything Willow Stream has to offer!! Everything is spotlessly clean, there are always spa attendants walking around to help answer a question, or order a drink/food from. It is a very luxurious experience, I highly recommend!!

Yelp
Don't you yelpers love reading reviews that just seem to be written with such a professional tone with a twist of pretending to be an authentic review? Me too. Only difference is that I don't take my fellow yelpers as fools - we can all tell when someone writes a "superb review" to bump down a bad one ;) Not impressed with Willow Stream Pacific Rim. Had a waxing done for the first time at the Willow Stream Fairmont Pacific Rim (waxing is not on the menu, however, being an avid spa user, I knew they offered the service) and it was probably the laziest job I have ever experienced. There was a young girl that performed the service (won't mention how she looked) and she seemed very slow and aloof, almost as if I was a bother. As she was performing the wax, she kept mentioning how they don't really offer waxing to 'people'. About 40 min into it she still wasn't done and told me that she can't finish waxing my legs since her next appointment is waiting and she has to clean the room. Seriously? So she left me with patches of hair on my legs. No offer to come back, nothing. I was dumbfounded by this. You can't finish the job that I have to pay for? The mistake I made was to pay for all the services upfront. I will never be back here and would caution those who are looking to use the facilities. As I left, there was no one at the front desk either. You basically get kicked out if your spa technician is incompetent and can't finish the job. It's not cheap either for that kind of service.

Yelp
To my knowledge there are only two Spas in the city that do a real luxury Spa experience. This one and Chi in Shangri-La. They both are worth 5 stars (there is nothing better in this city) and I will compare. Willow stream. Has a better change room. The women's change room has an experience shower with the 20 jets (apparently the Men's doesn't). Willow stream has individual hot tubs (i've never been there when it was busy so i'm not sure if you ever had to share). They have a better pre-massage drink and food selection (it was very small so it shouldn't impact your opinion). Willow stream has slightly more professional wait staff when you are post-massge eating and drinking. Chi. Directly accesses the hotel pool. so it's fun to hang out there afterwards., there is only one hot tub. so you will always be sharing and there may be hotel guests with kids. Chi has a decent selection of hotel asian food. i actually always get a Nasi Goreng and hang out at the pool and have wine after my massages. Chi seems to be less busy vs Willow Stream. The bar and lounge staff near the pool tend me to be younger guys who are not the most polished, but I actually prefer that more casual feel over Willow Stream. Both places take costco gift cards (either way spa or spa finder). To my recollection Chi is slightly less expensive. Of course you cannot use these discounts with RMTs So there you go. both are good. I wish Chi didn't have the awkward transition from the Spa to the lounge area for somebody to buzz you into the change rooms. and I wish Pacific Rim's spa area accessed their quite lovely pool.

Yelp
Probably the most opulent spa in Vancouver right now. Head to the 5th floor of the sexy Fairmont Pacific Rim and you'll be met by 2 really friendly hosts at Willow Stream reception. Large men's locker room and private lounge with fresh fruit, tea, water and baked goods..be sure to head out to the deck to take in one of the hot tub spas or the infrared sauna. I had the hot stone massage (Jay) for 60 minutes and it was intense and perfectly relaxing. I layed on a spinal bed of hot stones while he placed shakra stones on my torso before even beginning the massage...well worth every penny. An appointment gets you FREE valet parking and you can spend the entire day here if you choose...work out, spa, massage, facial, lunch..the choice is yours. I'm a happy camper.

Yelp
I got to witness the behind the scenes building of this spa and even when it wasn't finished, I knew it would be my new go-to spa. 15,000 square feet of serene luxury, perched on the 5th floor of the beautiful new Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel. The treatments are not cheap but they are not exorbitant and I've never had better service or felt better leaving somewhere in my life. Using the spa also entitles you to using the 3000 square foot exercise room, if you feel like moving after your massage (I never do). They also offer a charity feature where you can register your charity at the spa so whenever you or friends go, you can mention it and 10% of your treatment fees will be donated to that charity. Imagine, feeling like you're saving the world while getting a facial? That's my kind of philanthropy.

Yelp
Until I visited Willow Stream Spa, I honestly believed that I had experienced the best of the best. Boy, was I wrong. While other high-end spas in the area offer a great service and amazing atmosphere, my experience at Willow Stream goes way above and beyond. Not only is the spa stunning, the staff are fantastic, and Sarah (my RMT) is AH-MAZ-ING. What's even better? You can arrive early and use their steam room, infrared sauna, outdoor jacuzzis with stunning views, experience shower and rain showers. Not only that, but you can order their bento boxes and wine right to the spa. What I liked best about this place is that although high-end, the place isn't stuffy or pretentious feeling AT ALL. I re-booked right away once my appointment was over, and cannot wait until my next visit! This was, without a doubt, the best RMT massage I have ever had. Tip: Spa appointments include free valet! Just make sure you get your ticket validated in the spa. A very nice touch (hint, hint Chi).

Yelp
I've been here a few times with my husband for RMT couples massage and we loved it. Wonderful facility and service. This is not a huge place but they have two outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, a outdoor deck, and lounges with complimentary tea and healthy snacks. Definitely a place to go to for a relaxing spa day.

Yelp
Left feeling the most relaxed I've felt in a while - such a beautiful space. The treatment did exactly what I was looking for but the rest of the spa - hot tubs, steam room and showers really made the experience more relaxing.

Yelp
best in the city Did you miss that? I said BEST in the city and if you know me (personally or otherwise) you may know that I do not give that away lightly. From the moment I called to book an appointment to the minute I paid and left, I was pleased. They exceed expectation. I have to personally celebrate Angie. I spoke with her on the phone when I first booked and she was not just professional but genuinely pleasant and helpful. You cannot feign that. I believe some people just have an affinity to work in the service industry and they're generally people who have a natural light and ease and most of all, enjoy their job. That describe Angie and most of the other people I encountered today. The amenities are great and on theme, accented with natural elements like stone, rocks, wicker and wood: - The change room facilities are clean, well stocked and spacious. - The lounges are comfortable with ample seating. - There's an infrared sauna, steam room and experience shower (25 heads of water coming at you) - The terrace was my favourite - an oasis in the heart of the city with cozy covered day beds and two jacuzzi tubs. - Complimentary snacks, juice and tea It is on the pricier end, but I can objectively tell you it is worth it. Willow Stream is beyond the company it keeps such as Absolute, Chi and mid-range like Spa Utopia at Pan Pacific or Vida at Sheraton. Been there and done that and not once have I been as impressed by the care of the staff or the quality of service as I was with my visit to Willow Stream. You really do kind of float on clouds from the moment you arrive to the moment you CHOOSE to leave. Book an appointment. Check-in early or stay after to enjoy some time to yourself, with some girls, with your significant other or in my case, my mother. It was a wonderful experience and it really does live up to the praise others shower it with - whether online, in person, or from yours truly right here.

Yelp
This spa is on the 5th Floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel so it has a great view for the seating area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a relaxing experience. There is a huge steam room and a really cool private shower with many shower heads. There were two inside lounge areas, each with different snacks, teas and water. RMT massage was one of the best I've ever had and I really liked the fact that Amanda put hot towels on around my neck area after the massage. The change room is really nice, with lots of amentities. They even think to leave you a bag to put your dirty clothes in. They think of everything you need. The only thing that bothered me was some people had their cell phones in the lounge area and were talking on it. So I found this annoying. This place wasn't cheap so I wouldn't go all the time, but for a special occassion or to use up extended health, why not.

Yelp
This is my other fav spa in van! It is a larger size spa, and has all the necessary facilities and personalized services one would require in a spa. For instance, a coed lounge, hot tub, and infrared sauna, as well as a women's only lounge area. I like the selection of art history books in the lounge. I also appreciate the usual selection of water, tea, and snacks. The washrooms are spacious, and modern, with good grooming areas and amenities. The decor is west coast style (not my fav, but still nice and new). I usually come here with a friend to enjoy the wet area and get a massage. Only con is that they don't have 2hr massages!

Yelp
Loved it, went for maintenance and ended up having lunch too! You cannot put cowboy boots on while your toenails are wet so why not eat. Truly felt like I was being treated by an expert throughout the maintenance program. Lunch was spa so I had to request additional salt and salad dressing but other than that it was great. Can only hope the Great White Beast enjoyed her oil and filter change as much.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The service was excellent and friendly, the amenities were fabulous - must always remember to arrive at least an hour early and to bring a bathing suit as they have three out door hot tubs each sitting up to about 5 or 6 people. It is especially amazing at hight when it is snowing! The indoor lounge is clean and comfortable for those who just want to unwind inside. They offer tea, water, coffee and various snacks while you wait for your services to begin. Each time I go, I always go for the full body 90 min massage. My RMT, Andrea, is amazing! I didn't have to tell her, but she knew at my first visit where my weak points were. I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. The hot tub, showers, and steam room are all included when you're just booking a massage! We've had lunch there a couple times - typical hotel food - not that bad, but nothing spectacular. All in all, this place is the place to go to. Anything from a bridal shower to a couple's get-away, it is well worth your $!!

Yelp
Willow Stream is the best spa in Vancouver. Everything about it is luxurious and beautiful. The women's change room is AMAZING and the views from the patio are incredible. During the summer, they have loungers and fireplaces on the patio (there's also two hot tubs). It's definitely worth it to plan to come early or stay after your appointment to use the amenities. I've had a registered massage on two occasions, both times in the couples room which was great! The massage therapists have always been great.

Yelp
One of my favorite spas in Vancouver. Love the ambiance but 4 stars because of price. Be ready to pay $200 easy for a 60 minute RMT massage. A luxury. A treat irrefutably...for those of us without money plants! :p Before/before treatment: -Love the comfy 'cocoons' on the rooftop. Settle in with pillows with a lot of privacy. Sip on wine, read a book, play with your IPAD, or even, take a nap if you want; without having other guests staring. -Two hot tubs to use and definite luxury before your treatments. They also have a firepit which they call the meditation corner. -Nibble on nuts and dried fruits with assorted teas or fruit-infused water -Feeling warm? Use the ice-cold face towels provided to cool you down. -Wet sauna also available for use. Would be nice if they added eucalyptus to their steam for a refreshing experience but for now, they don't. -Rain shower room is faaaantastic. Super deluxe. Multi jet showers. Optional mist. Dimmers. The whole nine yards. If only I could get one for my condo (probably take up my entire condo though! Hahaha). During treatment: - Heated beds and racks to hang your robe on - Soft & comfy duvet/blanket - Hot towel roll inserted behind your neck when you flip around. You simply cannot imagine how good that feels until you have experienced it. It is phenomenal! No joke. -Knees propped up by a pillow to maximize comfort -Electric blinds to make sure the room is dark -Superb RMTs and after massages, you get a shot of a 'healthy' drink after - I got beet and kale juice last weekend. Also, if you parked with their concierge, $15 will be added to your invoice.

Yelp
Wanting to feel pampered my g/f's and I booked a massage at the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. We were thoroughly delighted.....no doubt... a first class SPA experience.. Following our massages we spent the afternoon relaxing in the lounge and absorbing the breathtaking view of our beautiful city..then detoxing in the eucalyptus scented steam room, followed by a soak in the hot tub and not to be missed, 'the experience shower'. The women's change room is spacious, clean and well stocked with great grooming products for your personal use. Oh Willow Stream.. we'll be returning very soon...

Yelp
Amazing! My favourite spa in town has always been Spa Utopia at the Pan Pacific but our experience here exceeded that - and we didn't even get a treatment! We were hotel guests so were able to use the facilities but they were all booked up for treatments that weekend. The women's changing room is standard - actually a little smaller than I expected but you're not spending time in there. As you leave you walk by a few shower rooms as well as a larger "experience" shower room which is definitely an experience worth having!! The women's steam room is a great size and has windows so you can see outside, which isn't something I've seen before. There are separate relaxation areas for men and women where there are couches and chairs. The one suggestion I'd make here is it would be nice to add a few lie down chairs like Vegas spas have as that definitely increases the relaxation. There's also a co-ed relaxation room, and the two jacuzzis, infrared sauna and relaxation area outside (where there are beds and lie down chairs) is also all co-ed. You can order lunch or drinks. I ordered a glass of prosecco and it was served with some chocolate covered strawberries. They also bring around little fruit skewers from time to time and there a variety of nuts and dried fruits you can snack on with tea. The service is great. One woman in particular was awesome. I'm blanking on her name right now but it started with a K and she has dark hair. Definitely made the experience more enjoyable and a great representative for the hotel and spa. I will definitely be back here with my friends and family and will recommend to everyone I know.
