Spent a night before our safari trip. We organized an airport pickup which was there on time and waiting for us. Great service since we arrived at past midnight! The hotel was very secure though we didn't venture out. We ordered room service at 1am and the food was good. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was also a good spread and very good.

We stayed here for the weekend. Like everyone else says, it is a lovely green oasis to escape the city without going too far. I loved sitting in the gardens and restaurants, surrounded by verdant green plants. The rooms were clean and the rates were reasonable. We didn't try the breakfast but the restaurant was nice. The only thing to comment is that are no lifts. There aren't many floors but it would mean lugging luggage up and down the stairs. However this was the only negative. The hotel receptionists, Valentine and Simon, were particularly helpful and accommodating. I would stay again.

I haven't been to the Fairview Hotel in a long time. I was looking for a location that is clean, not too busy, kid friendly and affordable and it just hits the spot! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is quiet and a great place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon by the pool. Keep it up and to another 100 years:)

I was here during the day for a week long workshop. I stayed at the Best Western adjoining the hotel. I felt it gave the best of affordability when hosting a large group yet professionalism and a beautiful environment in the middle of a big city. It didn’t feel like we were in the city at all. Gorgeous gardens. At least 3 main restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will be highly recommending this to clients for workshops in the future.

Horrible place, horrible people. My advice is to avoid. The rudest most dishonest staff I have ever experienced. The character limit does not allow me to tell the full story unfortunately. Suffice to say. We booked a table over the phone. We arrived all dressed up and ready to go. Only to be told that they had no record of our booking. They challenged the fact that we had booked. Because we couldn’t remember the name of the person we spoke to they couldn’t take our problem seriously. The restaurant manager Edward was beyond rude. He made a bad situation worse. He eventually escalated to the duty manager who took the same stance until we showed evidence of the calls on our phones. We had never mentioned compensation but Edward said that they would offer compensation if we could remember of the man who took the booking. I had to correct Edward three times on my name. We were supposed to remember the name of someone who had not given his name. He wouldn’t remember my name after I had told him it three times in half an hour. Eventually they took our phone numbers and email addresses and said everything would be put right. Did we receive an email or call a week later? No. I emailed to remind them to be begrudgingly offered two courses and a drink at a lower level restaurant. I pointed out that it wasn’t the restaurant we wanted. They then told us we needed 6 people to eat in that restaurant. Something that had never been mentioned in a 30 minute discussion on the night or on the website. I asked for the name of the duty manager we had spoken to on the night. I didn’t receive a reply. The rudest, most dishonest staff I have ever experienced. My advice is to avoid.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's a gem in a world full of soulless hotels!! It's not fancy, not modern, but it has a colonial style and is therefore a very pleasant place to stay. All common areas (restaurant, lobby, bar, etc.) are somehow indoor, but at the same time so open that you feel like you're sitting outside! The pool is excellent, there's a gym and various restaurants. The beautiful exotic garden makes this place an oasis in the middle of a busy city. |The staff is very friendly and attentive! |The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortably equipped with TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, ventilator and aircon, and ironing board. Comfortable king size bed (180 cm). |The prices have increased a lot compared to last year, not only for drinks. But the hotel is worth every penny!

We had a great time here for a life-changing conference. The food, service and location were great. I just wish I had been able to try their amazing pool and rooms so I can't comment on those. #maybeoneday😏 Judging by their service, they would be great as well.

We hosted a training event at the Fairview Hotel in May 2024 with participants from Africa and Asia. Our engagement with Fairview started in February 2024 already and I can honestly say that after having worked with the Fairview team for almost 4 months, we only have the highest praise for the team - and by that we mean the extended Fairview team. Our engagement started with Maureen Ogala who was our account manager who sets new standards for customer engagement. Communication turn around was within 24 hours with always a practical solution for all our enquiries and needs. All requests were met with grace and professionalism leading up to and during the event. Our guests were also astounded that their dietary requirements were met with special catering for gluten free and non-diary options. A special thanks to the Events team led by Rosemary and all round to all the staff from the porters, front desk, cleaning staff and restaurant staff. It was a real pleasure to spend time in place with lots of character and beautiful gardens. Fairview Nairobi comes highly recommended.
