Fairway Boutique Hotel

This is a lovely hotel with very interesting history. The staff were very warm and welcoming and the service was excellent. The food was very nice and the prices were fair. The only draw back was that they lacked an elevator to the area our room was at. We came for the New Year's party and fireworks and it was a really great fireworks show and party.

Best experience I had with an hotel! The staff is friendly and kind, they really are helpful and attentive. The infrastructure are valid and the overall environment is great, with a lot of greenery. The breakfast is very good and with a lot of choices. And they have a lot of cats going around…Recommend it!

I've had the best stay in Uganda at fairway hotel. The hospitality is just wow.... though there are some areas they could do better, but large they're the best. Everybody's smiling. There's that feeling that you're home. Special thanks to the guest relations guy Benjamin who in particular made my stay memorable. I'll definitely be back.

A charming hotel with cozy rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is convenient, close to many attractions in Kampala. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The restaurant offers a variety of tasty dishes, and the pool is a great place to unwind. A solid choice for both short stays and longer visits.

Christmas Brunch Our Christmas brunch experience was very disappointing.We were charged 165,000 per person, yet this included only one drink; either a soda or water. At this price point, this felt like poor value. The food was also underwhelming, with several dishes being very dry. The seating setup was uncomfortable. Guests were placed in the middle of the garden, and what was used to shield the sun was a white covering that did not block it effectively, leaving people hot and uncomfortable throughout the brunch. We also brought young children based on the advertised activities. A bouncing castle was promoted but not disclosed to be inside the swimming pool, making it unusable for our three-year-old children who cannot swim. Face painting was also advertised, but there were no visible face painters, no clear location, and we did not see any children with face paint. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for a Christmas brunch at this price point. With clearer communication, better organization, and improved attention to guest comfort, this could be a much better experience in the future.

Exceptional service made me feel truly valued. The mountain view from my suite was picture-perfect. 5. Prompt, professional service with a personal touch. Room was spacious, stylish, and offered a spectacular sunset view.

More than just a Hotel. The Fairway is a home away from home. It's a lovely oasis in the busy heart of Kampala. Excellent and customer friendly service. The large selection of pastries, breakfast, lunch dishes plus the Asian restaurant were very great and convenient. The staff is very friendly, and if you get one of the executive rooms like I had with a balcony, the view is just magnificent.

I have stayed here many times. I went as far as to bring colleagues and friends to this hotel too. My recommendations and bookings alone have brought many people to Fairway. We have even hosted 2 corporate events here, and I would have considered myself a loyal, valued customer. Unfortunately, I have been incredibly disappointed in my last visit. I was moved to the "sister hotel" as there was not availability for the full length of my stay. The hotel I was being moved to was not disclosed to me until I was dropped off. The Imperial Royale is not nearly the same caliber as Fairway - yet I was charged the same rate. It took me four attempts of checking into unprepared, dirty, or smelly rooms, not having working WiFi and finding their restaurant completely deserted that I made last minute plans to move to a different hotel. I immediately emailed Fairway and expressed my disappointment that they would think this move is appropriate at the same cost or without warning of the difference in service. I emailed them again, explaining the full story and it has been a whole week, and I have not received any communication back from the team. I am greatly disappointed that A) They would move a loyal customer to such a disgrace of a "sister hotel" without proper warning and at the same price and B) That after sending an elaborate explanation of a disappointing experience management have not replied to, nor acknowledged my communication in 7 days.
