Fairy Knowe Backpackers Lodge

Really love it here, so relaxing and friendly. The staff are very nice and helpful and the setting is perfect! We stayed about 20 yrs ago and it's just as good now. I love the veranda and sat there alot just listening to the birds and reading. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner available to buy and all is nice. Free tea and coffee all day too, plus a bar. There is also a laundry service that the ladies that clean there do which is a great addition to the place. An assortment of friendly cats and dogs complete the relaxing and friendly atmosphere of the whole thing. Well done guys, really you've nailed it with this place, thank you for doing it 👍

What a wonderful, peaceful surprise. Extremely neat. We camped for 2x knights with 3x dogs. It was only a pleasure although there is no electricity. A very relaxing place. We do recommend Wildernis Backpackers and hope to visit them again.

We can not wait to come back there again!!!!! The team is very welcoming, location is beautiful. Lots of entertainment for kids, live music, nice bar. Pleasure to stay there for the family with children or solo. Beaches is just in 5min away. Shops nearby. Great value for the money! Our favorite spot from now on 💯

Got married at Fairy Knowe! It was a wedding in January, a financial curve ball we served ourselves in the face but we're nice and married now. The process was not perfect but when all's said and done, we had a great time and will certainly love to party there again.

Awesome place to stay at, made to feel very welcome. Old house, massive rooms. Love the bar area, with the massive trees. Just out of this world. Just be a little more attentive on booking in the guests. ✌️💯

I’ve stayed here a couple times and love it. Nestled in the forest, walking distance to the river. The host is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. There is sometimes fun entertainment with bands and open mic nights.

This hostel is beautiful, surrounded by beautiful natures and birds. People are great, with good advices on what to do for a couples of days! A good note for the kitchen as well with great food

Shout-out to Adrian and his team. Fairy Knowe is looking spectacular and and so much good energy, spotless and super yummy food, very safe, and all the special touches especially in the bathrooms... Massive gratitude to the beautiful Bonita, resident artist and groundskeeper, whose hard work and talent is evident indoors and out. All drawing an awesome crowd to the bar, definitely the place to be summer coming up
