We absolutely loved our experience here. Very lovely staff, very down to earth, funny, natural humans who seem to enjoy their job and who make you their priority. I got take out but had a chance to enjoy the atmosphere while I waited for my food to be ready. Beautiful place and really friendly and cool staff. I got the BBQ Combo because I wanted to try everything, and I wasn't disappointed! I love ribs and brisquet, but surprisingly, those weren't even my favourite parts (though they were amazing). The best parts were actually the extremely thick cut House Bacon, and the fried chicken tenders. The only thing I was "disappointed" in was the cornbread. Now, the cornbread was really good cornbread, don't get me wrong; I finished mine AND my wife's. However, it was savoury and not at all sweet, and I like my cornbread sweet and as a sort of dessert.

Ordered that meat combo. All good just a bit too salty from the sauce. So had to keep drinking water. But ribs and beef were really soft into the taste. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I took a trip to Quebec City and wanted to finish our night off with some good food. My daughter loves bbq ribs and I found this place on google. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was excellent and I felt a nice québécois vibe. I will definitely come back when I visit Quebec again.

Had the brisket and ribs. The meat was so succulent it would fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. The sauce has a Smokey flavour. Added a poutine, and it was an amazing meal. Good IPA beer here as well. This is all you need. Best meat in town

This was the most delicious food we've ever tried. We've travelled a lot and tried many different foods. Let me tell you, this is out of this planet. The ribs melt in your mouth, absolutely exquisite. The chicken is delicious. It was almost a heavenly experience. I can't recommend this enough. Please keep the hard work, quality and service. One of the best meals we've have ever had! Barely any wait for a table on the patio. The servers were fantastic, the drinks were amazing (I'd recommend a margarita). The brisket was the best I've ever had and I make a great brisket! The tacos were delicious, the potatoe salad, corn bread, all of it was absolutely amazing. Definitely make this a stop

The food was SO good. We needed a late dinner with the kids. We shared two combo trays (chicken/ribs + brisket + ribs with sides + poutine + mac n cheese). Everything was demolished. So tasty. Staff were friendly and east going. Yum!

From other reviews, we heard this place was the best bbq ever.... so being from Texas where we pride ourselves and feast on great bbq like Blacks and Rudys bbq amongst many others...we took that as a fun challenge :) So we started with the Scallops on a slab of bacon nestled in cream corn sauce and Chimichurri as an appertif. Very very good. Big win with us. Next, we went straight for the "meat" of this bbq contest. The meat (brisket and ribs) are fallapart tender. Very important in any bbq rating. The bbq sauce has a unique taste...is that cinnamon? The cornbread was grilled, nice touch. The coleslaw is good. Now back to the main event, the beef. Of course, everyone has their own cooking method. Faite A' L'os is going with a glaze on the brisket, perhaps the same as on the pork ribs - which are excellent, BTW. We miss the southern or Texas "bark" (i.e., the outer flavored crust which seals in the juices) ... BUT ... we agree this is damn good, bbq!!! Go Canada!! Overall we really liked it.

Amazing! Probably the best food you'll find in old Quebec. Tons of food for the price, and the service was fairly quick considering all of the variety of meat ordered. Definitely left happy and full. Tons of flavor and a big reason why I would return to that part of town! 5/5

Service was super good, and they seated us inside immediately even though we didn't have a reservation. Food took long but it was because we ordered the biggest thing off the menu- the combo with many different meats, cornbread, coleslaw and beans. We got a bit annoyed with how long it took but it was worth it. Good!

Great little divey place with fantastic smoked meat and barbecue. Great trendy place in Quebec City with incredible selection of food.

Love love loved this restaurant. I was skeptical of how good Canadian barbecue could be but it exceeded my expectations. The beans had a great flavor, the sauces were amazing, and the different meats were all delicious too. And the atmosphere is also unique. Highly recommend!

This is a BBQ paradise. Their brisket is on par with anything out of Texas. Great service and superb environment to get a great meal. Servers are exceptional highly recommend this restaurant

The best BBQ we have ever had! And we love BBQ! The space is super indie and fun. Service was excellent and accommodating. Wings were unique but incredible! Everything fell off the bone in such a perfect way. No complaints!

The service was great. Need a reservation if you want to eat later than 6pm. We had the BBQ platter for 2. It was more than enough food and delicious to top it off. Beer was cold and good and the Bloody Mary had BBQ rub on the rim also.

I am going to be biased because I was in Tennessee 4 was ago, but it's 3.5 at best from an American perspective and I can see how some people can give 4 or 5. Service was great and location was great. Mid Aug so great weather to dine outside but that's not what the review is about. It's just about food. 3 is not a bad rating to me. 3 is good but I wouldn't go back rating to me. There was just not a true smoke flavor. I can't see this being true wood smoke. Maybe not or maybe they don't market as such, but if this is what true Canadians like then true Americans should stay away. Briskets still had fat that didn't render down and it was difficult to chew. Chicken were better on breast side and legs were dry. We went because my wife wanted some chicken after many seafood and Italian rest this wk. we should've known better. If you have to get BBQ fix then you should go. If not? then I would move on to something else. Just don't expect true bbq.

This was probably our favorite restaurant in a sea of burger restaurants. The margaritas were to die for and stronger than your average drinks in the area (another plus for us). The service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush to be anywhere and got seated immediately. The wing appetizer only comes with three wings, but they pack some serious flavor and come served on a small bed of tasty bok choy. The chicken and waffles was my first ever and I'm so glad it was here! Perfect. The BBQ chicken dinner is huge! This little smokehouse was exactly what we were looking for. Just try Faite a'l'os, you might just love it!

The food here is taste to order and delicious. Has amazing flavor and cute atmosphere. Would recommend making reservations especially when there is an event in the city. We're luck that someone cancelled last minute.

I did not expect this! Being in the middle of a snowstorm in April and looking for good and reasonably priced food one of my colleagues suggested we try BBQ. There were many raised eyebrows..... There need not have been. As soo. As we walked in a smelled the place we knew the Q would be ok. It was, in fact, better than ok. I had the smoked chicken which was good. But two of my colleagues had the ribs and thought they were very good; and one of them is from North Carolina. One word of warning. The meals are big. So maybe skip lunch!

Friendly and efficient service in a smaller intimate setting. Nicely done smoked meats and good beverages including local craft beer. We were there during a busy evening but they cleared a table quickly and we had a wonderful meal.

Wow. Delicious. And the staff are very friendly. This atmosphere makes for a great meal, on a patio, in summer.....unforgettable. We ordered the platter to get a taste of everything. Drink a lot cause there is some salt on that meat but that's a fantastic combo for bbq. Kids loved it too. Needed to walk back to the hotel we were so full. They are fairly new and making a huge effort.

This was a spur of the moment stop, and I'm so glad we popped in. This is some of the best smoked BBQ I've had, and I've eaten some great BBQ in Austin and Sacramento TX. The meat was moist and tender and full of flavour, and it fell away from the bone with the greatest of ease. Delicious!

Superb food! The service and environment was phenomenal outdoors. It had a positive and unique vibe that this restaurant deserves. It is definitely excellent for friends/family reunions. The ingredients were fresh and the meals were quite diverse. However, I would like to see more creativity in their menus and individual dishes. That would make this restaurant top-notch!
