Okay, seriously, I just had the most amazing meal at Falafel Corner - hands down, the best Mediterranean food I've ever eaten! From the moment we walked in, everything was just fantastic. First off, the food was out of this world. Every single dish was bursting with fresh flavors and cooked perfectly. You've got to try their combo plate – it was next-level good. And then there's the service. Kunal took such great care of us; he was super attentive, friendly, and just made the whole evening even better. You can tell the entire staff really cares about giving you a great experience. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough. If you're craving some seriously delicious Mediterranean food and awesome service, this is absolutely the spot. You won't regret it!

Great food, generous portions and very friendly staff.. Very reasonable prices for the quality of food. They were running out of Hummus so made the fresh batch right there, and it was so yummy!! The falafel were so tasty, perfectly cooked and not dry!!

Pretty decently priced for the montclair area. Food was delicious. I ordered online and it was done within 8 minutes for pick up. We got falafel wrap, chicken wrap, gyro (goat meat), and baklava. My favorite was the falafel wrap, but my parents really enjoyed the gyro. Baklava was amazing and so sweet!

This place is AWESOME!!! They are so friendly here and the food is always fresh and delicious. We always get the lamb bowl with curly fries. We went last night and they hooked us up with extra meat. Best place in months clair

I recently visited Falafel Corner and tried their Badmash Burgers—one with beef and one with grilled chicken. Both were exceptionally tasty, far surpassing any burger I've had elsewhere, including In-N-Out. As a bonus, the restaurant offers halal options, which is a big plus. Having previously been to their Sacramento location, I was excited to find this closer spot, which I'll definitely be frequenting from now on. Kunal was very helpful in substituting the beef burger with chicken, and I appreciated the flexibility. The beef burger was juicy and flavorful, but the chicken burger was even better—more flavorful and juicier, especially if you get it spicy. The fries tasted like McDonald's fries but were of noticeably higher quality. I’m looking forward to trying their gyro and chicken bowls and platters soon. Overall, Falafel Corner offers a remarkable burger experience that’s definitely worth a visit!

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and basket of curly fries from Kunal who got our whole order done very quickly and we got our food in 5-10 minutes. the food tastes amazing and the service here is fantastic!!

The food is always yummy. When I want to eat something fresh in terms of flavor and ingredients, I go here. Thank you for catering to the company and not charging an arm and a leg for delicious food.

The food is very good. They have a brand new menu item, rotisserie chicken- very juicy and flavorful. Plus, you get sauces like the yogurt sauce and a red sauce. It might be the most delicious rotisserie chicken we've ever had. I am going to work it into our weekly or monthly meal rotation and keep it in mind for events. They said they can cater too. It is too cold to eat it there. Take your food home and enjoy. Delicious.

Literally on the corner in Montclair and a vibe. The music and the staff were amazing! Looking for something that taste amazing and a first!? Get any burger and ask for gyro meat instead of beef. On God!! The best food decision you will make this month! My wife got the gyro quesadilla... it was gone before I could take a PICTURE LOL!

I ordered the gyro wrap. There was a generous amount of meat, which was moist and delicious. The pita was excellent. The tzatziki was a little thin and the tahini was barely noticeable. But overall, the wrap was tasty and filling. The food prep only took a few minutes. Years ago, there was a Greek restaurant in Montclair which lasted a few years. I'm happy to see that there's another place where you can get a decent gyro.

Food poisoning. Both my friend and I experienced an entire day of distress after eating here for the first time. They "hoped we felt better" and didn't offer any refund or take any responsibility. First and last time.

Best catering in town! This wonderful place provided catering for a recent event at my home, including chicken, falafel, salads and all of the tahini, hummus and tzatziki one could ever want. I was so happy I went with Falafel Corner in Montclair and will definitely lean on them again for house parties - they made it so easy! Everything ready on time and nice and hot. This is a great cozy restaurant with wonderful service and even better tasting food! The entire family enjoyed their meals, first time in a while everyone finished all their meat and veggies! Definitely recommend going!

Montclair has a new falafel spot and it has been buzzing since they opened last week. The location has a very simple menu that is anchored by falafel and chicken that can be prepared in a number of different ways (wrap, gyro, platter). They also have a number of side options to pair with your entree if you're feeling hungry. Everything here is reasonably priced, even for Montclair, so that was welcomed to see (one entree and a side will keep you under $20) With any new opening, there's definitely going to be some hiccups. This place is still figuring out some other kinks in terms of taking orders and filling them correctly. However, the manager on staff was really kind and patient about it and more than willing to serve the customers to make sure the orders were filled correctly. With time I believe they'll figure this out. The falafel is really good. I ordered the falafel wrap and the badmash fries. The pita was cold, and filled with an abundance of lettuce. The falafel was served warm, and probably the best part about this. I didn't care too much for the wrap. I wish it would've been toasted or warmed to match the consistency of the falafel. It also was lacking a little bit of flavor so you might want to add hot sauce to it to give it a little bit more punch. The side of fries was pretty abundant and had good flavor. Next time I would probably just order a side of falafel and maybe the fries to add them in and create a combination plate and that would be a significant amount of food right there. Overall, I would give it a shot because you're not going to get hit over the head with pricing as some of the other competing restaurants in the area might do. There might be some gems on the menu that I haven't explored yet.

First of all, I was driving slowly in Montclair Village on a cold, windy night and I was STARVING. Then something caught my eye, the words "Falafel Corner" and a red neon sign that said "OPEN". I almost crashed the car. Upon entering the eatery, I took a glance at the menu and quickly zeroed in on the chicken/gyro combo platter. I specifically requested "For here, please." After a few minutes the lovely hostess, Jashan, presented me with a beautiful plate of hot food. Chicken, gyro, rice, hummus, salad, tzatziki, tahini, and the softest pita ever. I could not put it all in my mouth fast enough. Everything was delicious and fresh. The chicken was incredibly tender, the gyro flavorful, the rice wondrous, and the hummus came with a drizzle of olive oil. The hummus was smooth and lemony, just the way I like it. The tzatziki and tahini added extra umami to every bite. I ate it all except a few bites of rice and chicken which I took home. Did you think I'd leave any of that good food behind? Rating: 5 Stars (BTW if you, like me, wonder why many Mediterranean and Middle Eastern eateries often include hamburgers on their menus, it's because the meats are all Halal. By serving Halal meats, everyone can enjoy a good burger.)

The good: food is tasty and worth coming back for. The bad: service super suck. They had three people working. One cooking, one assembling and one cashier. There was one other customer, yet it took them over 20 mins to assemble two dishes that I had ordered. (They got one of them wrong) I think they are still working opening logistics and are still training the staff hence the long wait. So if you come, be prepared to be patient. And be prepared to receive the wrong order.

Not genuine middle eastern meat and sides. Got large take out order and they were fast though.

We were at the farmer's market and decided to grab a bite. We got a falafel platter and a combo platter and both were great. Definitely a great addition to the Montclair village. We will definitely make a point of frequenting when in need and of a tasty, quick, well priced meal. Staff was super friendly and falafel was made to order. Ask for the hot sauce!

We are regular customers of halal guys in SF and shwarmaji in Oakland. Super pleased this spot opened in Montclair. Beyond kind manager Kunal. He made sure we had a great experience. The food was beyond delicious and presented so beautifully even though at its core this is a grab and go spot. Huge portions, both of us got the combo plate. Everything is thoughtfully done. Pita is like a puffy cloud delicious. The tahini drizzle on the gyro and chicken is super yum. Strong hummus and tzatziki. Flavorful rice. Even the lettuce in the Greek salad is treated with delicious flavors. Get the chocolate baklava. OMG this is next level. It has the many many layers of a European croissant with influences of dulce de leche cinnamon. Ridiculous. Kunal gave us a second one on the house which we were so happy to get! One of the best desserts I've had in months and I have a huge sweet tooth. Go here!! Support this new spot. They take phone orders too and the takeout looks like it holds up too.

Found this place Saturday and really loved their falafel wrap! Fresh tasty falafel right up the hill in Montclair. I will be back! The staff were friendly and the food delicious.

Today's food was surprisingly bland compared to usual. The falafel sandwich had little to no sauce--no tahini or tzatziki--just dry falafel with flavorless veggies. The "salad" was plain dry lettuce, more like a burger side than anything resembling a salad. We will refrigerate it and go buy some tahini at the grocery tomorrow.

I gave one for the nice people that worked there. I didn't want to Yelp but I tried to call them and never heard back. I got the WORST Greek salad and hummus I've ever had. I have had 100's and this one was inedible. Warm soggy lettuce, unripe sliced tomatoes not chopped, giant thick cucumbers , thick slice of yellow not red onion, black olive NOT kalamata , a minuscule amount of feta and no dressing or oregano but lemon. The hummus tastes like water. Threw in garbage. I was so excited too as I hardly ever get lunch and I was starving. I even tried to doctor it up at home and it was futile. I don't understand how they have such a high rating. Waste of money.

Excellent food and some of the best falafel I've had in the Bay Area. Had a falafel wrap and it was huge and flavorful with amazing creamy sauce to top it off. The falafels were not balls but thick round disk and they were lightly brown and not too dark. The insides were soft and the herbs were strong enough. They were also extremely hot and burnt the top of my mouth but that's what made it so good. The falafels were huge and made the wraps a challenge to eat without making a mess. But that kept it fun and I usually try to stuff as much food as possible into any wrap just to see how much it can take. This was borderline overfilling and was great. Also gave me a side of hot sauce but it was kind of acidic which I didn't care for too much.

I went to falafel corner and every worker was so sweet. Kunal checked up on my group making sure we were happy with our meal. The food was delicious and I will definitely be going back!

The interior is a little sparse and not too comfy with high tables and barstool height seating, but it is clean with self service water to the side. The staff are very friendly and ready to assist or answer questions. The Gyro wrap was a big hit with us, perfectly spiced meat and toppings and the wrap itself was spot on. We also ordered the Falafel wrap which was less successful just because the Falafel does not really fit in the wrap - it would need to be smaller. But that said the Falafel is really good and they make them to order so they come out perfectly crispy and hot. My suggestion would be to order a non-Falafel wrap and get the Falafel on the side (like you would fries). We also got a little taste of the Baklava and they can definitely brag about that dessert - so good!

This is a solid option for takeout in Montclair Village (they have a few tables but it is the old Rustica Montclair location so it is a small storefront). I had the chicken wrap and the chicken was seasoned well, came with a delicious creamy tzatziki sauce but I really loved the shredded iceberg lettuce that came on it. My wife had the falafel wrap, which came with three massive falafel patties so you had to strategically plan how you eat it so as not to lose one. The side hot sauce was no joke but delicious. We enjoyed the badmash fries as well that included nice skinny fries and a creamy spicy sauce. Service was friendly and the food was ready very fast. We'll definitely be regulars here.

FANTASTIC!! We hill folk have been waiting for you for years, ever since loosing our last falafel joint. Glad to report it has been worth the wait. This place serves the BEST falafel ever and at a great price. Really got the spicing down, love the thick soft wrap, the first crispy bite into the falafel, its soft interior, chopped tomatoes and the flavorful sauce; such a juicy bite! Wish it was a bit less messy to eat but the flavors! OMG. This wrap delivers: both in quality and quantity! My partner says to be sure to end with a note indicating we are excited to try all of their tasty menu items. This is true; we are. You must check them out. Service was quick and friendly. And to the folks whose idea this was to open this restaurant in Montclair: Thanks for coming to our neighborhood; really!

I have been here several times now and it has been excellent every time. *Extra friendly service *Willing to customize my order *Super tasty My husband had the gyro and I had a bowl. The bowl was excellent! We need to get the word out about this local eatery because the young man who owns it needs our help to make it successful! It is super hard to be in the restaurant business right now. And I want to see this place succeed. It took the place of a shop that was empty for a decade or more. And it nice to have something different in the neighborhood besides sushi places. Seriously, give this place a go, if just for the friendly counter service you will get. Such a nice change of pace from some of the surliness you get these days.

I ordered their Gyro wrap and an order of fries. The fries were piping hot and crispy....maybe just a tad too much salt, but the amount of fries were extremely generous. WooHoo! The Gyro was flavorful and huge, with a large amount of shredded lettuce topped by the marinated lamb. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For the price, I felt that both items were an excellent deal! A great addition in the Montclair district.

When we moved to Montclair we were shocked to find such a good Mediterranean spot in this small town. My wife always gets the chicken platter and I get the gyro bowl. For a tiny hole in the wall, the food here is better than most fancier places. The gyro is especially tender, they cook it into small cubes so it's much better than the usual strips. The hot sauce is super tasty if you can handle the heat. The food is outstanding, the prices shockingly low for the bay area and Kunal, the owner, is so nice. The food is great to go, but especially delicious if you have time to dine in.

Saw this place in Montclair and wanted to give it a try. I got the gyro bowl and I was thinking I would get more. Needed more sauce when you mix everything the rice is dry for the lack of sauce. I also thought I would get more pieces of meat it was just a bowl of rice and sprinkled some meat on it. It was tasty but on the dry side. It would have been nice if we got some tomatoes and onions chopped up with it just to give it more than just rice and meat. The price isn't too bad for what you get just wanted some veggies. This place has potential just needs a few adjustments.

This spot is brand new and today is its second day open. I am so glad I stopped in. The restaurant is super clean the service is excellent. And the best part is the chicken wrap was a 10 out of 10 - so glad I stopped in.

Falafels were not balls but little silver dollar shaped. Excessive sauce, very little tomato's. Couldn't eat it w/o cutting it up. Fries must of been cooked in microwave, pale in color and like cardboard . Disappointing. Service was friendly.

I've been their 3x now and have tired the Falafel, Chicken and Meat. I have enjoyed ALL of these plates and find them affordable and you get plenty of good. They are very accommodating to substitutions. I highly recommend them!

Ok. I want to start out by keeping it real and saying Falafel are round and there fore have no corners But still it's hard to get real quality fresh Hummus. And these cats have it Kunal is about the coolest guy I ever met and Jashan is kind and helpful but also keeps the crew in line if they fool around. The Falfel are crispy, round like I said but crispy which is important The raita or cucumber yogurt is the best in Oakland Tip well, these folks work hard

RATING BASED ON EXPERIENCE NOT FOOD So excited to see this place opened in Montclair and that it has gotten good reviews. Looked online yesterday and the website said it was opened. Ventured out into the pouring rain with baby to get the food only for it to be closed during business hours. Not a good first impression. I would like to try it but will make sure to call before I go and not rely on posted hours.

One of the better Gyro wraps I've had. Not too much sauce, excellent lettuce and onions. Good service. Would come again when in area. Friendly service.

Just a hole in the wall, but the gyros and falafel are real. Montclair has been missing a decent Mediterranean fast food place. I'm not sure how long they've been here (easy to miss), but they're welcome.

Decided to try something different in Roseville and OMG this was fantastic. The food was amazing, the portions huge, and the cashier (who might be the owner) was super nice too. Already looking forward to coming back!

I wanted to try something new, so I stopped by this Mediterranean restaurant everyone's been talking about. Let me start by saying the food was great I have no complaints. BUT I could barely enjoy the experience because of the loud music blasting through the place. I'm an older lady, and my hearing isn't what it used to be, but I couldn't hear myself think, let alone place my order. The cashier was struggling to hear me, so we were practically shouting back and forth. It was exhausting! I don't know what music they were playing maybe it's their traditional songs? I'm sure some folks enjoy it, but it was just too much for me. Honestly, I'd love to eat their food again, but I'd rather order online next time.

Ordered (2) combination platters. They were excellent! Good amount of food and a fair price. Would definitely order again.

Super happy to see a new casual Mediterranean place open up on Montclair Village. The service was very friendly and prompt. We stopped by for lunch and was very happy with the quality of our wraps (one chicken and one gyro). I really liked the hummus--it's very flavorful and well balanced. Looking forward to trying out other menu options.

This is one of the best places to have some great food at a reasonable price. The service is very good and always greeted with a big smile. I am a New York transplant from Manhattan and this cozy restaurant reminds of the city so much. I love to have lunch there with baklava for dessert.

Today was my third visit and my experience has been excellent every time. I have ordered chicken shawarma, gyros, fries, falafel and hummus. All are absolutely great, really fresh, spiced well and delicious. The service folks are genuinely friendly. I wouldn't sit and eat there because the chairs are uncomfortable and it's not too appealing inside. But it's perfect for a high quality takeout.

Healthy and delicious addition to Montclair! I had the Greek salad with gyros and my daughter a gyros wrap. We enjoyed them both. They also gave my daughter a baklava while we were waiting...a sweet surprise! We'll be back!

So happy to have this in Montclair village - we've been missing an easy pickup place, and I've personally been wanting a Mediterranean spot nearby! Absolutely delicious - it was a hit with adults and a kiddo. We got falafel wrap, gyro wrap, falafel side and hummus side, and baklava. All A+, will be back soon!

We had falafel wrap and gyro wrap; both were excellent!! I'm very hard to please when it comes to gyro meats and falafels-- so definitely was trying to manage my expectations fearful of being let down. Not the case! Fast service; three high tables/stools by large window are perfect to enjoy the freshly made hot wraps. Please go and support this neighborhood gem!
