Pretty good falafelle wraps! Light crispy and flavorful! The chicken shawarma was tasty although a bit dry. It needed the white sauce. Contactless payment available and friendly service. Several outdoor tables. 3 TV's inside usually playing sports.

Pretty good schwarma, kind of dry but the sauce helps. Tabouleh was really watery. The hottest sauce tasted like olives got some reason. No fountain drinks.

Fast quick service and consistent quality! My mixed shawarma was out in about five minutes and you can definitely tell they strive to make a quality product every time. Clean establishment means a lot, esp during Covid! The size too was very filling. Super convenient location when doing shopping in the plaza. Highly recommend!

Service was nice but slow and didn’t take my order even though I was standing there clearly waiting and they definitely saw I was there. The food was not all that great, the meat was dry and the rice was not great either

Please be aware of this place as this place has no regards for children's allergies!!! It happened to us multiple times. They put ingredients that your children might be allergic to. Despite repeating this multiple times verbally, they will keep doing this. It appears that it's intentional. Please be careful with getting food from here for your children. I am in the process of reporting them to CDPH.

The owner was very friendly and the place was clean. They had football in the tv which is nice. The downfall was honestly the food. I feel like the quality was great, but something about the seasonings they used made it taste off to me and my SO. The lamb/beef had a very strong cinnamon flavor which was not my favorite. The chicken was pretty good but again the seasonings were not my favorite.

Great food. The falafel and hummus are delicious and the chicken/meat is also really good. They don’t have fava beans or hummus with meat (their Foster City location does). They also have very limited seating indoors (two tables) but have some space outside. Worth a visit.

The food here is incredible. Everything was perfectly marinated and flavored. The hummus has a lot of flavor and the chicken was perfectly juicy. I recommend everyone to come here for amazing middle eastern style food.

Fast service, great price....easily could've fed my family of 4 based on the portion of their shawarma plate.

In searching for a good Mediterranean restaurant near San Carlos, I discovered Falafel Tazah! We ordered various kabobs, including chicken, lamb, and shrimp and they were all pretty good! Each kabob platter comes with hummus, pita, and various veggies. Service was friendly and quick. Food was good and everything we were craving, but not the most spectacular Mediterranean food I've had hence why I wouldn't give five stars. I'd try other Mediterranean spot nearby before I go here again, just to see what's out there. But overall, friendly service, a positive experience, and good food.

I really loved their chicken kabob plate. The chicken was juicy. The rice was fluffy. The cucumber salad was not overdressed. Every item on the plate complimented each other. What really put it over the top for me was the garlic puree and sliced pickles.

With Mazra closed on Monday, found this as sub and was pleasantly surprised. Portion size was good, food was tasty. I especially liked the rice. Will definitely return.

I lost count of how many times I have been here but every single time this place exceeds my expectations! Literally best kabobs I have ever had. So fresh. So delicious. So tender. Full of flavor and authenticity, you can even just eat the rice by itself and it'll be so yummy! I promise you won't be disappointed! Try it now!

I've been by here so many times now, and finally tried the place... then wished that I had just tried it sooner because the food is so good. On one occasion, I ordered the mixed grill plate, which batted 100. On another occasion, I got a kabob bowl. Love adding pickles and shatta hot sauce, which they also sell in jars. Shout out to the tall buff guy that works there... super nice, helpful, and also very handsome. If eating here more means looking good like him then I'll be here every day lol.

This is my favorite place to get Mediterranean take out. My favorites are the deluxe falafel wrap and the chicken kabob plate. The portions here are so generous, but what I really like is how fresh all the food is. I especially enjoy the chicken kabobs, which are juicy, yet flavorful at the same time, and are grilled to perfection every time. I also like how different side sauces are included with the meal, as they add tons of flavor, and a nice touch to the meal.

I read the reviews hoping this would be bomb. Wrong! I ordered the falafel wrap. It was dry and not crispy and super floury. We also got the garlic chicken Swarmia and the chicken was super dry. $40 for three mediocre wraps was not worth it.

Tazah means fresh, and they deliver exactly that! The fresh chicken kabob was perfectly seasoned: juicy, tender, and flavorful. It practically melted in my mouth! The portion size was generous, and you can tell everything is made to order, it took about 15 minutes to prep, which is a sure sign of freshness. The rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and had that delicious yellow Middle Eastern style that ties the whole meal together. If you're craving flavorful Mediterranean food that doesn't cut corners on quality, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Food - a surprising, quality/ value! I was literally the last customer who walked in and ordered at 10 minutes before eight. The food was piping, hot, really beautiful, very tasty. Definitely recommend! Service - the people on the line were definitely keen to get out of there. Although I had indicated that I was going to eat my food on site when I ordered, nobody said I was required to get it to go, but the package it to go and insisted on giving me a bag. twice as I sat trying to quickly eat my meal a team member came by and said not to hurry you, but we're closing now and we're gonna lock the door. This was at 8:04 as I sat trying to hastily gulp, my hot food, which unfortunately did detract from the otherwise nice food part of the experience. ultimately, I made sure to get out the door at seven past since the workers were pretty firm about that but in most restaurants if you could finish your meal in 15 minutes or so after ordering it while they cleaned up, it wouldn't be a big deal. Alternatively, and this might actually be a reasonable suggestion to consider? maybe management should simply advise people who walk into order to say that all orders are to go, in the last 15 minutes of the business day. I think that would help people understand that they're not welcome to stay on the premises after 8 PM sharp. All in all I highly recommend the food. on a nice day you can sit outdoors as well as in a couple tables indoors. Just make sure not to be the last person ordering!

Walked in with very limited seating indoors but very clean. It is our first time here and ordered the lamb/beef shawarma rice plate and chicken shawarma rice plate and both were really good. They had tons of the flavor was rice was super good. The salad was delicious and hummus tasted super good as well. I wish there were more roasted veggies instead of the raw onions and pickles. The staff was nice and took out ordered quickly and served the food quickly.

Falafel Tazah is a casual Middle Eastern grill offering a menu of casual fare packed in takeout boxes. The Vegetarian Combo was a nice sampler of their mezzes including creamy hummus, smokey baba ghanoush, two dolmas, two green falafels, tabbouleh, cucumber/tomato salad, sumac onions, and pickled red cabbage and cucumbers, all served with grilled Jerusalem bakery pita bread. While the dips were decent, the other components could have been better, as the falafels were soft and greasy, and the salads/pickles were overly acidic and sour. On the side came a few sauces including spicy red chili, tahini, and a spicy aioli, all of which were flavorful and enhanced the other components. Overall, while this wasn't the best Middle Eastern food I've had, the prices were fair and the service was friendly!

Beautiful food presentation. Full of flavor possibly the best Mediterranean food I ever had. Get the hot sauce it is the bomb. Great service. Places to sit and eat inside. Clean place and welcoming. I wish this place was in San Diego. Definitely saved on my favorite when I visit SF.

My first bite at the Redwood Shores location? Shawarma so good it made my taste buds dance! Seriously, I hadn't tasted anything that divine in ages. This place isn't just good--it's the best. I've dined at countless Mediterranean spots across the Bay and beyond, but this family-owned gem stands out. The food? Stellar. Portions? Generous. Shawarmas? Mouthwatering. Falafels? So authentic, they practically bounce! This has been my go-to for a while now, and it's the only Middle Eastern spot I wholeheartedly recommend. With so many good options in the Bay, that's saying something. Bottom line: Check out my favorite spot and see for yourself. I'm confident you'll agree--it's the best!

Popped in to order a falafel salad. It was ready in less than a minute; it was a good size with 4 falafels and a delicious vinaigrette. I also got the hot sauce which was creamy and spicy and truly pure perfection. I was showing my daughter the baklava and the kind man behind the counter gave us a two pack for free and told me to have her try it. Great food and great service; we will be back!

I stopped by Falafel Tazah after shopping at TJMaxx and I was so impressed! I cannot eat gluten or dairy, and when I ordered, I was going to order the Chicken Shawarma rice plate without yogurt sauce, and right after I asked for no sauce, the cashier (I think his name is Mohammed based on the name on my receipt) asked if I am allergic to dairy. He let me know that the marinade for the shawarma is yogurt, but that I could order kebab instead (the kebabs aren't marinaded in yogurt)! He also let me know that they have a tahini sauce and a hot sauce if I'd like to add those to my meal instead. I'm so glad he caught that and thought to ask! I also ordered a side of fries, and when I paid he let me know how long the wait would be. Both people I saw working were super friendly and welcoming. As he handed me my bag, he reiterated "all of the sauces I put in the bag are dairy free". There is plenty of parking since they share a parking lot with TJMaxx, Starbucks, Best Buy, Chipotle, Jamba Juice, etc. The inside of the restaurant is very clean with just a few small tables, so I'd recommend taking your food to go. You can see them make the food right in front of you as well, which I always like! The food was very delicious and fresh! Although I usually prefer thinner fries, they were well seasoned and very flavorful. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor, and went so well with the rice, cucumber salad, and hummus. They also give you pickles and onions, which really added to the dish. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be back!

Happened to be in Redwood City and needed to charge. Found this little gem and ordered the falafel wrap and was amazing!! No complaints definitely come back when I'm in the area. Very cute clean place.

This place has delicious food, especially the fresh vegetables and fluffy pita bread. Ambience is so-so - there are a few small tables inside and a couple more outside overlooking their parking lot. Service is straightforward, good for a quick takeout order. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving falafel.

Stopped by for a quick weeknight dinner, and instead of the usual rice plate I would pick up from their Foster City location, my husband and I opted for Lamb/Beef Shawarma Wraps with a side of 6 Falafels to share. Everything was a 5/5 and was the perfect amount of food! The wrap was full of different flavors but all of them blended deliciously. As much as I enjoyed my wrap, I think the falafels were my favorite. Perfectly golden, moist, crunchy and flavorful. They were good on their own and with the sauce - probably my favorite falafels I've ever had (so far). Prices are reasonable and service was friendly and fast - I want to say that we waited for our food for about 5 minutes or less. I will definitely be back next time I need a falafel fix!

Totally awesome Mediterranean food from San Carlos, Ca. I would recommend this place to all community residents also out of the community as well to come eat here at a substantially well priced menu.

Not sure why this place is reviewed so highly, but I don't think it's because of the falafel wrap. The pita bread was super thin and dry, and the falafel was barely fried and not very flavorful. The veggies were good, but not much variety. I asked for spicy, and spicy it was! So that was good. Anyway, I've had much better falafel wraps.

Friends have been getting this spot to go so we decided to stop by on a nice Sunday for lunch, they have a couple tables outside to eat onsite and two more inside. We ordered: - Chicken Kabob Wrap: fairly small wrap, great flavors. Wish they cut in half for you. 4/5 - Chicken Shawarma Salad: chopped romaine with some diced cucumbers and tomatoes, good amount of sauce. 4/5 - Half dozen falafels: some of the best falafels ever, moist, similar to Mazra's: 5/5 Overall would come back and try other kebabs, maybe a la carte. Smaller portions here and somewhat on the pricier side for the qty, but nice clean place and friendly people.

Super kind service and a decent price. But compared to other places I have tried, it's not as good. Though If I am in the neighborhood I would consider stopping by. The wrap is fairly sizable and comes with a sauce. I think Mezze and Mooore in SF is better (theirs also comes with slaw) but obviously it's not even close to this location. Clean bathrooms and clean kitchen.

So delicious. I just tried the chicken Kabob plate with a side of Tabohle. So delicious. It is by the big TJ Maxx. This is fresh and delicious. You have to try it out.

Stopped by here for lunch with the hubs and ordered half a dozen falafel, a lamb/beef shawarma wrap, and lamb/beef shawarma rice plate. Must say, I enjoyed the falafel - they were moist, crunchy, warm, and flavorful. I'd definitely order those from here again. Hubs ordered the rice plate - it came with a decent portion of rice, meat, hummus, veggies, and a pita. Hubs enjoyed it with the spicy sauce and ate the whole thing up. I went with the wrap - it was good, just wished there were more pickles.

The food is quite good and the serving sizes are very generous. I had the falafel wrap and it was tasty. I'd like to come here again and try other menu items.

I love this place. The service is friendly and quick. I've been to all the locations now. My man introduced me to this place and we've been back several times. He always gets the chicken kabob plate. I've tried the mixed surf and turf plate, falafel, all the sides, the baklava, and probably more. lol. There's minimal seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. The food is always fresh and don't forget to ask for all the sauces if you like sauce. Their hot sauce is AMAZING! OH, and I love how their plates come with a grilled jalapeño. Such a nice touch! We'll be back soon!

Loved the food but owner is very rude and condescending. I bought 2 shawarma bowls and asked for 4 sauces, but owner flat out refused in such a rude manner! I clarified that I bought 2 bowls and would like 2 sauces for each bowl. He again rudely said no! I would have been willing to pay for the extra sauces. So I just left. Rude. Leave the customer service to your employees who are nicer

Came to get food after holiday shopping and wow this place is DELICIOUS. So good! Great flavor, and seasoning and good portions . Everything on plate was divine and for sure would be back! Staff is super friendly too

The food is consistently very good here, and my takeout or dine in order are quick to ready, they keep the front door open most of the time so it can be chilly sometimes to sit at a table, but the place is very clean.

Salads looked amazing. Few coworkers commented on our salads wishing they had opted for a salad instead of their plates. Kabob Salad (Chicken) - Little on the sour side - I did not taste before adding lemon though so maybe it's perfect without lemon. At the end, i had a decent amount of lemon juice on the bottom. Chicken was amazing though! Light, tender, and flavorful. Pickled radish added another flavor with a crunchy texture.

I love Mediterranean food and it's been hard to find a place with reasonable pricing and delicious flavors here in the Bay Area, except now! We discovered this place out of luck and I definitely see myself coming back again. The service was great and I can't wait to try the other items on the menu

Had low expectations of a strip mall joint but was pleasantly surprised by the food. Flavorful sumac rice, freshly chargrilled chicken and shrimp and hummus. $18 for a hefty portion . Limited outdoor seating available. Wouldn't go out of your way to come, but enjoyed the food and friendly service.

I wanted to love love the Babaganoush that I picked up from here this week but unfortunately it was off in taste. 3 stars for getting my order ready so quickly and the friendly service

Solid place! Really good value, and the owners were playful and friendly. We ordered the deluxe falafel wrap and the mixed shawarma plate. Falafel was crunchy and lavash was fresh. The plate had some roasted and pickled veggies mixed in there which I thought was a nice touch. Hummus and salad was also fresh, and the chicken had a lemony flavor to it which was different. Though I do think the meat was a tad on the dry side.

This place has the best chicken wraps. Fresh ingredients , great customer service. We always stop by here when charging.

I really enjoyed their mix shawarma wrap, even more than their rice plate. However, if you're ordering wraps for to go, you have to be careful. I ordered the beef and lamb wrap but while I was eating, I realized it was their falafel wrap. Fortunately for me, I wasn't too far away so I was able to as for the meats on the side because I really wanted to try them. Their falafels are pretty good. Full of sesame seeds.

Good food, ordered for pickup directly from this app and the order took less than 10 minutes to prepare. I ordered the lamb wrap and bought a drink when I picked up. There was no line yet the place was full. Food tasted of high quality and clean and business owner and employees were all professional, quick and clean. Will definitely eat here again!

The hummus here is the best I've ever had. The owner is so nice and this is one of my favorite Mediterranean spots. Everything is super flavorful, and the sauces that come with the platters are also excellent. Everything is high-quality, and very fresh, will definitely come visit again!

I have been to the location in Redwood Shores before and loved it, my first time here, equally as good. Had the mixed Sharwarma rice plate today, it was amazingly good. The baklava is one of the best I've ever had, crispy and buttery. I think I must become a regular and try their entire menu.

Good food. Very clean inside, although most folks were dining on the patio. I got the lamb and beef rice plate. It seemed a little pricey ($16.49 I think) but they give you a good amount of food. Not too salty or greasy, tastes fresh and has great flavor. I'd come back again. Forgive me, I started eating before taking the pic, it isn't served like this.

Very tasty. Suggested by my son and it is a hidden gem. Definitely going back during my next visit to San Carlos area.

Went to this place to try something different. Seems to me from dissecting my wrap that they cut 2 falafels in 1/2 & lacking that tomato salad. They should call it just Lavash wrap!
