Falco Bakery - Smith St

Awesome range of pastries with delightful service. The cinnamon roll was spicy with an enjoyable amount of chew and milk bread was fluffy and soft. The sausage roll is worth the hype, satisfying and savoury. Lovely atmosphere, quiet enough for some conversation.

Falco Bakery has undeniably lovely pastries and the coffee was spectacular — one of the best I’ve had in a while. The service, though, felt a little disinterested and cold, which made the experience less warm than I’d hoped. Maybe I just don’t have the required hipster cred to blend in (which is fair enough, and Christ I wish I had that kind of rizz haha!), but it did leave me a touch uncomfortable. Still, worth visiting for the quality of the baked goods and coffee.

Efficient service and a variety of breads and pastries. The coffee is a must-try, perfectly made with Happy Soy.

Found this place on Google and thought about trying it. Peanut and salt caramel tart is a must-try. So good, not heavy at all. Coffee is great and service amazing too. You guys give this place a go and try the PB and miso cookie, delicious!!!

Went in on a Saturday with croissants in mind, but intrigue got the better of me and I opted from a sogum pan (Korean salt bread). This was my first time trying, but I've seen this type of bread grow in popularity so have been seeking one out to try for a while. Not knowing what to expect, I took a bite and it was delicious! The outside is crispy with a good amount (but not overpowering) of salt flakes) and the inside is soft and very buttery. For me tastes it was a little too buttery and I couldn't finish it in one sitting, but I feel like that wouldn't be an issue for most! On a previous visit I almost bought a milk bread bun/roll thing (it was only $1.50 too!) and it was delicious. Super soft and had a nostalgic feeling to it. I'll be back!

Ordered the Rockwell pie, sausage roll, and a long black. The sausage roll was beautifully flaky, and the meat was juicy and quality, but the ratio was off - too much meat, and way too much fennel in the pork. Coffee average. The Rockwell pie, however, was a slam dunk. From the crispy, flaky exterior to the rich and decadent filling of cheese, beef, onion, mustard (and something else i missed). Will return to try something else based on the pie alone.

Nice range of croissants here. Flaky, light croissant with ham and cheese. It’s nicely baked, brown but not burnt.

Came on a weekend in hopes of trying the chicken sandwich and was told it was sold out. We reluctantly settled on the egg salad sandwich instead. An hour later we walked past and there were a whole new batch of chicken sandwiches laid out, honestly just wish the girl who served us told us that they were going to make more! the overall service also could’ve been more warm and friendly.
