We had a great stay with clean rooms, great location, and a great kitchen, but I want to highlight what the staff did that was above and beyond. We're in the middle of moving and my son's stuffed animal is an emotional anchor for stability for him in this drawn out, 70+ day transition. We left his stuffed animal when it fell into the couch / pull out bed and we didn't realize until we unpacked the night after we checked out. The front desk staff spent two days looking for it and found it. I cannot tell you how much their willingness, and the willingness of the housekeeping staff, to go the extra mile meant to my son as we're moving.

Just stayed for 3 nights. We had a fabulous stay here. Room was beautiful and clean. It's just like a home from home. Nice big living space, kitchen with all basics and utensils. And 2 big bedrooms (1 with en-suite) and very comfortable beds. The staff were very attentive, welcoming and polite. Great and ideal location for Canmore. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel was everything we were hoping for and more. The room was exceptional and so clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the gas fireplace in our room, especially after a day of hiking. We felt at home away from home. Nicolle, Emily, Armony were the best and so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Falcon Crest for 2 days during our honeymoon and had a great experience! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We were upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. Two bedrooms, two showers, and a bathtub. Thank you very much. The kitchen had all the basic utensils included, which made it easy to relax and enjoy meals in. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Well worth it.

Google
Wonderful accommodations and the staff were terrific. We had a beautiful view off our balcony and our own gas grill on the deck as well. The washer and dryer came in handy. Also we had a full kitchen which was great for breakfast in the morning!

Google
Brilliant spacious apartment, with all modern items needed to make a stay there as comfortable as possible. We had stayed in nine previous places on our journey through the Rockies and both myself and my friend rated Falcon Crest one of the best places. Loved the hot jacuzzi outside too.

Google
An excellent place to stay in Canmore. The location is nice and quiet and the core of downtown is just a short distance away. Two hot tubs on location, with one facing the mountains. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Definitely worth going back.

Perfect location. Hotel was just what we needed. Very clean and beautiful room. Hot tub was amazing after a long days hike. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Yelp
Exceeded expectations, with a prime location right in Canmore and beautiful Mountain views! The A/C (when many other hotels around do not have it) was nice in the summer and the accommodations were everything we could ask for. The washer/dryer in the room was an added bonus in the middle of a long trip. Highly recommend and again - the location couldn't be better in the heart of the Canadian Rockies!

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the Falcon Lodge. Joshua was a sweetheart who gave us incredible service and upgraded our room for our honeymoon as well as welcomed us with a gift. We felt so special! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location is fantastic and a short walk or drive to downtown and places to eat. It's about 25 mins from Banff city and about an hour from the national park - a perfect location. I highly recommend this hotel & am thankful for Joshua's fantastic hospitality.

Yelp
Great cozy place with a prime locaction and mountain view. Full kitchen: dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, coffee, tea, full fridge, dining table, pull out couch, king size in master bedroom, porch with table and seating for two with bbq. And the shower! Best ever with a ton of pressure and 3 way water jets. This place has it all including very friendly staff. Btw, our balcony overlooks the hot tub. Gym is fair at best. But exercise can be had by doing a walk into the lovely town Canmore. One more thing, the staff knocks on your door every morning asking if anything is needed, such as fresh towels, shampoos, garbage cleaned.... Def well run business!

Yelp
I arrived after very long day and had booked Falcon Crest Canmore because it came up on Hotwire.com as a great deal. I travel a lot and the check in was so welcoming. DONNA at the front desk was Fantastic. You hear that SCOTT Manager? She is a keeper, and she praised your management style giving the front line staff leeway in bookings. Don't get cocky people it can't happen every time, but it can happen. I was upgraded without asking because it was my first stay. (and later when I called reception to thank her again, she said I looked so tired, and I was, 14 hrs on the road. lol) Can't recommend this place enough. hotels are brick and mortar THE STAFF GIVE IT HEART. Again thanks DONNA from a weary traveller.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the accommodation at Falcon creat Lodge in Canmore!!!! The room we got had a Full kitchen even dishes and pans ,washer , dryer 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch and the balcony has a grill. The parking lot gets full but there is an underground garage. Opportunity for this hotel and its parent company would be to provide cruelty free bath products or none at all. We were is Room 406 I hope house keeping and staff were able to use up the food we didnt get around to eat

Yelp
Stayed here back in December of 2016, and had an unforgettable time in Canmore and Banff! I have to say, staying here made the trip much more memorable. Service - So friendly and helpful, thank you! Room - Loved the amenities. We had 1 room w/ queen, pull out bed in living area, full kitchen w/ supplies, bathroom w/ standing shower & bath, also had a cute door directly to the side of the lodge, where my SO and I were able to take a nice walk in the morning. There's also other added amenities such as a gas? fireplace, a grill (which we didn't use, maybe next time!) and a washer & dryer. Everything about the room was cozy and comfortable. Parking garage - Access and exit was smooth other than having to deal with the snow, elevator brings you to the hall & lobby. Entertainment - We tried out some of the free board games in the hall and rented free DVDs and enjoyed our nights in :) We also used a laptop provided by the front desk to research the area a little more. We unfortunately didn't use the gym or hot tub outside but wished we took advantage of that. Other than that, staying here was perfect and really great for family as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Tina P, you saved the day!!! Having never been to Canmore before we didn't know what to expect on our road trip from Michigan. A 31 hour drive led us here to explore Banff and initially we booked a place in Airdrie (about an hour away from the park). We're no strangers to driving so we didn't think it'd be an issue, however, when we got to Canmore we knew we had to stay. Cutest little mountain town ever! My husband and I stayed at Copperstone the first night (another Clique hotel). It was very nice but more of a condo than a hotel and Falcon Crest was more the speed we were looking for. On top of that, simply put: Falcon Crest has Tina P & Megumi, two of the absolute best in concierge. My husband and I go on 2-3 week road trips every year (he's super supportive of my landscape photography hahahaha) and we've stayed in hotels all over the United States and Canada. Falcon Crest is definitely Top 5. When we came in we had no idea what to expect as a walk in-- Tina P worked hard to get us a room for 3 nights, beat the Expedia price, got us a mountain view, answered questions about the park, got us set up with free DVDs to watch AND made us aware of the complimentary rentable bear spray (which I thought was the bees knees!). She's the type of person that can turn a headache in to a smile which is the type of person we needed after a week of driving, cancelling our Airdrie reservations on the fly and then scrambling to find somewhere to stay. Megumi came to help with finalizing reservations and also offered up some cool things to do in Banff. Our room was clean and cozy. The porch was awesome and I loved turning the fireplace on. Because of the excellent staff we will look for Clique properties in the future (as well as recommend them to family & friends)! Thank you, Tina & Megumi!

Yelp
Beautiful space in a beautiful are waking up to such a beautiful view. We were greeted with friendly staff who were super accommodating and clear. The room was clean and well put together. We had our own little fireplace and the Wi-Fi wasn't spotty at all. Parking was really easy with using our card key to unlock the garage doors and parking in a heated garage was something I didn't know existed. This is located about 5 minutes away from the local restaurants and 25 minutes away from Banff. We drove around a lot but every night when we came back to our room, it was the closest thing to feeling like home. In short: zero complaints, easy stay, worth every penny.

Yelp
Convenient, clean, spacious, affordable! We stayed here with the fam during our Banff vacation. The lodge itself resembles an apartment, with full kitchen, 2 Bed, 2 Ba, and comes with your typical hotel amenities. The facilities are clean and chic. Cable, Wifi is included. Parking is included and free-- located in the basement of the complex. There is also a small gym (equipped with a treadmill and elliptical) and a jacuzzi. They also have free DVDs, board games, and packets of popcorn available, if you're feeling like a night in. The best part is: it's totally affordable (only $200 per night)! Overall, I highly recommend Falcon Crest Lodge! Honestly can't think of anything negative to say...

Yelp
My husband just stayed here for a 3 day getaway. Our room was cozy, queen bed, couch, fireplace, kitchen with mini fridge, microwave and dishwasher, bbq on deck mountain facing. It was just perfect. Two hot tubs, prefer the mountain side one which was also hotter and nicer view than the one by the parking lot. Rocky at the desk was super friendly and helpful both in our booking and while we were there. We would definitely return.

Yelp
Pretty terrible experience overall. The staff was friendly, yet the room smelled like cooking grease. Doesn't help that the kitchen is located literally right next to the bed. Let's just say it made us all pretty nauseous. The sexual innuendos didn't help make things much better. "We encourage you to sleep around," "Congrats you're sleeping with the best" marked on the keycard, on brochures around the hotel, and is in fact the hotel's main slogan ("Sleeping with the best"). What?! Couldn't decide whether to find this slightly funny or disturbing. WIFI. Pretty sure it's an illusion and doesn't actually exist. It connects to my computer but refuses to load a single website. I gave up trying to get it to work in my room and went out to the lobby to get a stronger connection. No such luck. I paid a pretty penny for this hotel, the least they can do is provide decent wifi.

Yelp
Love the place. Went there for our honeymoon. The hotel was quiet, the staff were friendly. The room was spacious, new, and clean. We had a junior suite, so it came equipped with a kitchen and a gas bbq on the balcony. We just bought steaks and cooked them on the grill every evening, saving us money. Nothing beats grilling steaks with the rocky mountains in the background. We're trying to save our money to go back out there again!

Yelp
We have stayed at the Falcon Crest Lodge numerous time within the past three or four years, and the experience is always wholly positive. The staff are courteous, helpful, and kind. The rooms & facilities are great (especially the 1-bedroom apartment-style rooms), and their service staff do an awesome job keeping the facility remarkably cleanly. It also has underground parking, which is a very welcome amenity! Oh, also, it has great internet for a hotel =) I have very few criticisms of the Falcon Crest Lodge - maybe that sometimes the prices can be high-ish; but, in the end, it always feels worth it. Many thanks to the staff of the Falcon Crest Lodge, we will continue to return.

Yelp
I stayed here last weekend because I attended a conference held at the lodge. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff when I checked in and then was happy to drive my vehicle into the underground parkade with a wash station. Brilliant. I ran out of time to use it, though. The entrance and exit to the parkade are a bit of a tight squeeze and someone with an over-sized vehicle wouldn't fit. I couldn't believe that my King Suite was fully equipped and even though it's just one big room, bed and all, it didn't seem to matter. It was cozy despite the fact that I could look at the kitchen while laying in bed. The bathroom was very spacious, which I really appreciated. I hate feeling crowded in there. The bed itself was comfortable. The only thing I had to pay attention to was the blinds on the patio doors. My room faced the communal hot tub, which was conveniently located just a few steps from my patio. However, I could have spectators so had to ensure the blinds were drawn enough in order to have some privacy. This did take away from the amount of natural light I could have in the room at times, which was slightly unfortunate. Other details that I appreciated include the orange water at the front desk and the board games available for use in your room. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
We had a destination wedding in Canmore and my family stayed here. I was a little jealous! This place was awesome! Everything was spacious, modern, and felt like a home instead of a hotel room...which is nice when you are staying a while! They got an amazing price on it, too. When we come back to visit, I'll stay here for sure!

Yelp
I booked this lodge on HomeAway. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize it was lodge. I was looking for a privately owned place but the price was good $112 a night US with taxes. After arriving I was a bit bummed because it's a lodge and it's under some construction which they did say on their site but said completion on May 15. We arrived the May 9th and it didn't look close to completion, but decided to make the best of it. We booked a studio and were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The room was large with a full kitchen, living room and separate bed room. It was actually really nice. Two beers awaited us in the fridge! I really liked the patio which has a BBQ and nice setting. The only draw back was the bed was a queen. We are bigger people and like a King. I did see on the website they have Kings. The area is nice and we loved the close drive to town of Canmore and Banff. The staff were nice and helpful.

Yelp
We stayed 2 nights at the Falcon Crest Lodge and really enjoyed it. Greeted and checked in quickly by nice staff, we found our room on the 3rd floor. We walked in, and the first thing we noticed, is that this hotel room has a nicer kitchen than we do at home! Very spacious, open plan room, king bed, natural gas fireplace, patio with bbq, big bathroom with a spacious shower. The room was very clean, we felt right at home immediately. There are 2 hot tubs open from 9am-1030pm. I must admit, I was not a hot tub guy, but now I am a believer! We were told about the "gym" and I sought it out the first night, thinking I would get in an early morning workout while my fiancee slept. I was disappointed to find that the "gym" was likely once a storage closet that had the door removed. Maybe a slight exaggeration, but it was very small with only 3 very dated pieces of cardio equipment. No weights whatsoever. There is lots of parking, both outside and underground. The hotel is just minutes from downtown, but it would be a bit of a walk to town if that's what you were hoping for. But there is a lot of free parking in Canmore, so no worries there. Overall the hotel was great, we would stay there again.

Yelp
This place is incredible; the rooms are beautiful, the area is perfect, & the staff is truly world class. We showed up with some strange & unfortunate travel circumstances, that required us to ask a little more of the hotel than our reservation would allow. From the minute we walked into the lobby, however, the two women behind the counter felt like they were on our side, as if the success of our trip was also their success. They spoke to us like old friends, made calls to managers for us, & ended up helping us with everything that we needed & more. We came back later & needed to add another room, again under some less than usual circumstances, & the man working overnight was just as friendly, just as helpful, just as invested in the success of our trip. I couldn't have had a better experience here, & it's right in shouting distance of Banff -- will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Amazing place! They were kind enough to give me a mountain view room with no extra charge! Hot pool is pretty good too! This is one of the best places to stay at a reasonable price! Service is very awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
Solid place to stay. Comfy beds and spacious rooms with full kitchen, free parking, free movies to borrow and movie style popcorn. Staff was fine, nothing extraordinary but nice enough. Canmore is way better than banff in my opinion - less touristy, good restaurants, only minutes from the park.

Yelp
We were so happy here. The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. Can't say enough about them. The rooms are clean and very nice. We were very happy about our stay here. Thank you to everybody.

Yelp
We had a fantastic experience here. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The rooms and amenities were great at a very reasonable price.

Yelp
Wonderful people!! We had a fender-bender with the rental car while vacationing and were quite shaken by the experience, These guys were SO kind! Thanks Falcon Crest!!

Yelp
What a fantastic place to stay,,, would definitely recommend spending the extra money to have a mountain view,,,, was always enjoyable to relax at the end of the day on the deck and be inspired by the view!!!! Also the location is perfect to have great restaurants nearby and not deal with the crowds that are in the center of banff....would definitely go back!!!!!

Yelp
Stayed at the Falcon Crest Lodge in September. Had a great time. love Canmore, the Staff were helpful and called and made reservations for me. The rooms are huge. Cooked on the bbq. had a great time.

Neil F.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The staff genuinly appear to like there jobs, and that simply put...helps me relax. Beside the beautiful view of the mountains of course. Neil

Yelp
Just left falcon crest yesterday and my stay was FANTASTIC!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had to change rooms because of my own mistake when booking and forgot some groceries in the freezer. The staff gave me a bottle of red wine, gave us $15 and a bag of chocolates and an apology letter for the inconvenience! They rooms were spacious but cozy. They let us use their park passes to avoid lines when driving into banff. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Dick D.

Yelp
Not exactly the stay we had hoped for . . . The hotel was conveniently located. Access to the town and surrounding areas was very convenient. Downtown Canmore was a pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk. The views to the west of the hotel of the mountains was incredible. The staff is very pleasant but several were very (very) ineffective. If a problem was identified they would always have a reason for why it existed but only provided 'lip service' regarding a fix . . . never making the effort to correct it. Their feedback and follow up on corrective actions was poor and there willingness to compensate for the problems and inconveniences were 'spartan' to none. The room we were promised was not available on the day we arrived so a repack and relocate was necessary. The rooms were appointed very nicely but between the noises created by the HVAC blower, the rattling pipes, the passing highway traffic and the trains passing nearby (about 400 feet to the west of the building - just across the highway) we found it very (very) difficult to get a good nights sleep. We were assured that they had in-room wireless internet access when we made our reservation. This service was very weak and spotty causing constant disconnects. It was difficult to get 5 minutes of undisturbed access on the internet before a disconnect occurred. We spent a fair amount of time sitting in the hallway away from our room to get a strong enough internet signal which was likely caused by inappropriate installation of the internet router(s). After a week of trying to unsuccessfully trying to resolve problems we made reservations at another local lodge to complete our stay.

Robert C.

Yelp
Great hotel - rooms were FANTASTIC! I strongly recommend the meeting package, which is a deal you won't find anywhere else! The meeting room was great, and the catering was outstandingly delicious, with no complaints from the group. I look forward to going back again. The only complaint was with the restaurant that's attached (and separate to hotel), as its closed Monday & Tuesdays.
