My group was seated in the patio tonight and it seems like they forgot about us. Having been here a couple times, we acknowledge that the restaurant gets pretty busy on the weekends and we can empathize. Today was an exception, however, as it was around 50 degrees outside, nobody cared to ask if the heat lamps were at a comfortable temperature, we asked an employee for boxes and he never came back, and we had to walk inside twice to ask for the check.
Everything had been going decently up until the point where we had finished our meal and were ready to go. Any time we would see the staff it seemed like they were on a speed run to go back inside. When we finally got the bill to pay, our original plates and glasses (minus one I set aside to be taken away) still remained. Truthfully, any time waiting felt especially prolonged due to the cold. We felt the need to walk inside to pay, as it was no longer bearable to be outside. As we were walking inside, we ran into our waitress and watched as she picked up our bill that had just been sitting there. At that moment we realized that they hadn't even processed our payment yet, which only affirms that we would've been stuck waiting in the patio for longer if we hadn't walked in. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired tonight and we will not be coming back.
The pictures I've attached are of the butter that came with my lobster and of my mac & cheese. I took them as we were boxing up our food so anybody viewing can see that they're COLD. I've never taken home leftovers that weren't at least lukewarm.
