Falkensteiner Spa Resort Marienbad

We stayed for 5 days during our honeymoon and it was perfect! Everyone from service was very friendly. The breakfast is amazing with hundreds of options, from sweet croissants or granola to omelette or fish. Also a lot of juice, coffee and tea options. During the day you can have tea and a fruit in the spa lounge. The pools are very nice (warm water, whirlpool, pool with salt water) and the saunas are also good. The dinner was special and surprising everyday, we loved every bit! Another cool thing is that you can order different pillows if you want (for warmth, back pain etc). All the staff also speaks German and English 😁 Marienbad is also a very cute city if you want to leave the hotel to have a coffee or shop, the small city centre is less than 10min walk from the hotel. I will come again! ❤️

Holiday with a dog A dog bed, food bowl, dog bags and treats were prepared in the room. There was a dog bar in the entrance area and the opportunity to clean up after your dog. The wellness area is great and so are the massages. There is a great fitness and gymnastics room. The organisation is perfect. The food is very tasty. There is a great breakfast and a multi-course evening meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout. The Hotel makes a very well-kept impression. Thank you very much. We enjoyed being here and will definitely be back.

Our stay was very last minute decision and surprise for my partner birthday, staying in Falkensteiner hotels already three times the expectations of course were high and My Lord…, we were not disappointed! On our arrival we met Miroslav and Jana - I have never ever met someone so attentive, superb and with smile the second we walk thru the door. They remember customers and conversations with them and go above and beyond! I am speechless how clean our room was by Valentina in hotel industry it it’s truly so hard to find someone so rare and incredible like it. One of the best stays we ever had. Our room was superb huge and comfy, clean to outstanding perfection. The receptionist team was very friendly and professional. The highlight for me was the delight to meet Reinhard and Marek - you are one of the most incredible people in hotel industry that I have ever met!!!! I would highly recommend this hotel. They are incredible and credit to company. Thank you for everything! We can’t wait to be back!!! You make just “another hotel in the world” to be extremely special. I recently inquired about staying at this hotel and had high hopes given its reputation. However, I’m quite disappointed with the service provided by the reservation desk. I reached out with two straightforward questions: what the wellness package includes and whether the hotel could accommodate our dietary preferences. Instead of receiving clear answers, the staff responded with a question of their own, which I promptly answered. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them, even after following up. The lack of response was frustrating and left me uncertain about their customer service standards. While the hotel itself may be good, the poor communication and unresponsiveness at the reservation desk leave much to be desired. I hope they improve their service, as it's crucial for creating a positive guest experience.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, lavish library bar, unfortunately the four course evening dinner is can't compete; overcooked, underseasoned, super markett deserts

Amazing holiday! Nice staff, very helpful. Pillow bank (anatomic one is recommended!). Spa with small but several pools, 31 degree. One small pool with salt water for relaxation. There is also quiet relax zone available. Program of musical evenings in the library-bar. Breakfast if good and plenty choices. Though i have small complain about tea. Hot water for tea is just not hot enough for tea to be brewed and tea pots are very little. If you just can add big cups for tea lovers would be great! Got welcome drink and also they called me the taxi for train station for free at the end ☺️ Very pleased. Definitely will come back here.

The hotel does not have air conditioning, which was an absolute shock for me in a 5-star hotel. This is completely unacceptable. The staff tried to excuse it by saying that the building is old, but that's clearly just an excuse for those who don't know better. I've stayed in much older and more historic hotels, even in protected areas, and they all had air conditioning. Unfortunately, I can't say anything positive because this issue completely ruined my stay.

Nice little oasis in Marienbad. Service is not quite 5*, would better meet the expectations as a 4*. The pool was nice and peaceful (only a few people there). It was very clean everywhere. The Spa treatments did not meet 5* standards and were over priced for the quality. |Absolutely great breakfast when it comes to food quality, but again, service was inattentive for a 5* hotel.|Nice hotel, but unfortunately not worth the price.
