*Pool is currently not operational*
We recently spent time at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience with a few important caveats. It is very cute, clean, and quiet—exactly what we were hoping for in terms of accommodations. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home.
One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its ideal location—close to the bike trail, the beach, and, notably, it advertised a pool. Unfortunately, upon checking in, I asked to confirm that the pool was open and was then told it was closed due to a hole. I asked whether it might be fixed during our stay, but was told it would not be. We were genuinely surprised and disappointed by this, especially since we booked for the second week of June, which is prime season. There didn’t seem to be any urgency to repair it, which was frustrating given it was one of the key reasons we chose this spot.
This hotel really is a charming and cozy place, but I’d strongly recommend calling ahead to confirm that all the amenities you’re paying for are actually available. Had we known the pool was out of commission, we would have chosen another place. It’s a lovely property, but a little more transparency would go a long way.
