Falmouth Lodge Backpackers

Absolutely loved the warmth and cosiness of the lodge. All the bedrooms and shared spaces have a personal touch and in no way resemble a hostel, special thanks to Judi. We were a week there and loved it for its proximity to the beach as well as shops, pubs, museums and galleries. 100% recommend it.

Stayed here for three nights this May. Judi was very friendly and welcoming, and was always happy to answer any queries we had. The hostel itself was very clean and well maintained, which made for a more than pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend and will almost certainly be returning in the future if I was to visit Falmouth again.

A wonderful, welcoming, conveniently located hostel, also for walkers doing the South West Coast Path. Judi was very helpful in giving me directions as I arrived on foot in the evening. Cosy lounge and lovely little kitchen with tea and coffee in the morning. Very clean bedrooms and bathroom. Lovely atmosphere - I will come again!

Judi was great and accommodating for our group of 14! The lodge is located a in between the beach and the Falmouth center, so there are plenty of options for a holiday. The rooms were clean, and the beds were nice. The shared bathrooms and toilets can be a problem for a full house, but it is a small price to pay for such wonderful accommodations and such a lovely host.

Very welcoming, Judi was happy to answer questions and offered advice upon arrival about everything happening in Falmouth. Utilities were all very clean. Overall a brilliant place to stay with wonderful staff.

Judi and his team were very hospitable. I enjoyed my stay in this warm and respectuful place cared by them. If you are looking for a calm atmosphere near the beach in Falmouth, this is your place.

I stayed overnight on short trip to Falmouth, and I can definitely recommend! Judi was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local area. The accommodation was comfortable and reasonably priced, right by Gyllyngvase Beach and an easy walk into the shops and restaurants. Definitely my first choice for my next trip to Falmouth.

A fantastic backpackers that's more like a B&B. Just checked out today after completing a 4 week work contract in Falmouth. Judi provides a wonderful atmosphere to weary travelers and the facilities are clean, tidy and appear to have been recently renovated. If you wish to cook as well she has an excellent kitchen and a small courtyard out the back to enjoy your meal. If I find myself back in Falmouth I will definitely be staying at this place again.
