From the moment I arrived at Hotel Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, I knew I was in for something special. My room was simply perfect—spacious, with a huge bathroom, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and best of all, a breathtaking view over Monte Cristallo and the surrounding Dolomitic peaks. Waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream.||The restaurant deserves a special mention. The food was outstanding—every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Mauro, the maitre, and his team strike the ideal balance between professionalism and warm hospitality. Their attention to detail and welcoming service made every meal an experience in itself.||I was traveling with two guests from the U.S., both seasoned, expert travelers—and even they were genuinely impressed by the high standards of the hotel. They couldn’t stop praising the overall quality, with a special shoutout to the restaurant. They said it was among the best they’ve experienced in Europe.||The entire team at Faloria—from the reception and room division to the breakfast and restaurant staff—is a credit to the hotel. Their friendliness, efficiency, and attention to detail truly reflect a 5-star level of service.||If you're visiting Cortina, Hotel Spa Faloria is an absolute must. I can’t wait to return!

Definitely expected much better service for a $2000/night hotel. One of their senior employees, named Mauro, gave us a hard time on numerous occasions (not wanting to give us the complimentary welcome drink, arguing with us over what a cafe latte was, not letting us bring the hotel’s own bottled water into the restaurant, and charging us for a few things we never bought). We also tried to order a few things via room service throughout our stay, and about 50% of what we would order never arrived. Location isn’t walking distance from the city centre but they do offer a free shuttle service which was great (it ends at 8pm just FYI). Hotel itself was beautiful :)

We had a wonderful stay! The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They even surprised us with a lovely gesture for my husband’s birthday, which made our stay extra special. A big thank you to Massimo, who greeted us every morning with his warm smile and kind spirit, he truly added a positive vibe to our days. Thank you all for making our experience so memorable.

A lovely hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo with really friendly & helpful staff. When choosing which hotel to stay at, we ended up with a shortlist of 3 hotels - however we chose Faloria as the swimming pool & spa area looked really nice....and it did not disappoint. The pool is half an olympic sized pool in length and was an absolute joy to swim in. In fact the whole spa area was brilliant and as per the title of this review, it was definitely the best spa hotel we have ever stayed at for a winter hiking holiday in Europe. Some hotel pools in ski resorts are just a waste of time, but the pool at the Faloria was amazing. The hotel is situated a couple of kilometres outside of Cortina d'Ampezzo but the hotel has a courtesy bus running to/from the lift stations and to/from the centre of town which was fine for us. Alternatively there is a cycle path which you can walk on to get to the centre of town - for a normal walker this takes about 30 mins. Parts of it are not lit so is a bit tricky at night but we did it and it was fine. It also felt really safe. The staff at the hotel were all excellent but a special mention should go to the lovely receptionist (green glasses, sorry I didn't know her name) who was really helpful with advising winter hiking routes each day. We booked a Deluxe Premium room as I thought the Classic rooms looked a bit small. The room was really nice - spacious and comfortable and also had a freestanding bath & good quality toiletries (Acqua di Parma). Cortina d'Ampezzo is an expensive resort, so if you want to stay at a 5 star hotel then you should expect to pay between £400-£500 per night for a decent room. The reason I have given this review 4 stars and not 5 stars is because we felt the breakfast could have been better. It was good but it wasn't amazing. For the price we paid, the selection should have been bigger, with better quality items on the buffet table. If you are looking for a really good hotel with a great pool and spa area, and don't mind being slightly out of the centre, then I would recommend the Faloria hotel.

We stayed at the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort in Cortina d’Ampezzo for a week and it was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. All our requests were accommodated seamlessly. ||The staff at Faloria is outstanding, and Massimo deserves a special mention. He remembered our breakfast order every morning, ensuring our favorites were ready—especially the delicious walnut tart, which he kindly set aside for me. His attentiveness and genuine care made us feel like valued guests, and he is truly an asset to the Faloria team.||The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout. Our room was spotless upon arrival, with fresh linens, a well-kept bathroom, and a tidy overall presentation. The common areas, including the spa and restaurant, were also meticulously maintained, adding to the sense of luxury.||We booked a Premium Room, and while it was beautifully designed, we did find it a bit cramped for a premium category. The bed was very comfortable, with quality linens and supportive pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was stunning, with a spa-like design, excellent water pressure, and luxurious toiletries. However, one minor issue was the large patio umbrella, which partially obstructed the incredible view of the mountains and the 1956 ski jump from our Room 107—making it difficult to capture the perfect photo. While most of the amenities were great, the Wi-Fi wasn’t very reliable, which was frustrating—especially when my husband needed a stable connection for his business meeting.||The spa and pool area were an absolute highlight. The indoor pool is fantastic for swimming laps, and the overall wellness facilities provide a truly relaxing escape after a day of skiing. Everything was impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere was pure tranquility. ||Faloria is not centrally located, but it’s also not too far from the heart of Cortina—a short 7 to 10-minute drive will get you to town. I actually appreciated the slight distance from the center—it made the resort feel more peaceful and secluded, which I loved. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serenity of the alpine setting without the hustle and bustle of town. ||We dined at the hotel restaurant for two nights, and the food was exceptional. The bean and pasta soup was rich, hearty, and filling, the perfect comfort dish after a long day. And the spaghetti? Absolutely addictive—and that’s coming from someone who isn’t usually a fan of pasta! The restaurant delivers high-quality meals that truly enhance the overall stay.||Faloria Mountain Spa Resort offers luxury, comfort, and outstanding service, making it a fantastic choice for those looking for a relaxing stay in Cortina d’Ampezzo. While the room was a bit tight for a premium category, the exceptional hospitality, top-notch spa, and delicious dining made up for it. Highly recommended!

I did not stay in the hotel, but visited the spa for a massage and scrub. It was fantastic! The staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The experience was very relaxing. The facilities are unmatched, very beautiful spaces. Would highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Faloria Mountain Spa with a group of nine friends, and while the rooms were undeniably beautiful and the property itself has great potential, our overall experience was unfortunately tainted by poor service — specifically from one employee named Mauro. From the start, Mauro displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude that only escalated over the course of our stay. His behavior was so off-putting that I had to escalate the situation to the general manager, who, to their credit, was kind, understanding, and professional. However, the damage had already been done. In a setting that aspires to five-star standards, hospitality and attitude matter just as much as the surroundings — and Mauro’s conduct fell far short of expectations. All nine of us agreed that his demeanor significantly impacted our time at the resort. Perhaps related but we are group of visible minorities and perhaps that was why our experience wasn’t as expected.

The hotel was overall ok but not worth the price and doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was average- they asked for extra charge for some dishes that you’d think would be free in a 5 star hotel. The food and the variety did not meet our expectations. Staff were just ok- we sometimes felt like we were nagging them by asking for help to plan our trips. Rooms - didn’t meet our expectations. Location - 8 min drive from Cortina which was a bummer.

Yelp
This place is amazing! It is impeccably clean and beautiful and the staff is so attentive. The food at the restaurant is also top-notch. We loved our stay there. I regret I cannot remember the GM's name, but he was wonderful. I would also like to send a shout-out to Anna in reception, Alessio at the bar, and Eduardo who was everywhere! These 3 and the manager went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous and memorable! The waiters in the restaurant were great too. I regret not getting their names to mention them here. My husband and I really loved this place and the stunning views all around the place are amazing. We toured the spa which is beautiful and clean, but we were having too much fun in the outdoor playground around Cortina to try it out!
