False Creek Ferries

I love taking False Creek Ferries – it's such a lovely break to get out on the water and also to quickly connect to various places around the area. The skippers are always friendly and accommodating. Whenever I have visitors from out of the country we use it. I like the convenience to zip over to Granville Island or Kits from the Aquatic Center dock. (After using this service for at least the past 30 years it's about time to write a review. Photos are from September 2025)

Highly recommend the 40 min tour. We met lots of people, loved the views. These little ferries are cute and fun and so inexpensive. Good way to see the downtown core without the traffic.

Even though it was a pouring rain day and I was the only passenger they still took me out on the boat and I was so appreciative as it was only time on my quick trip that worked!! Thank you for a great tour 🤩

Flipping fantastic ferry ⛴️ service!! Hop on and off and pay as you go ! No reservations or tickets needed, just hop on and explore my favourite city 🏙️ ❤️Every single captain was happy and friendly. The docks are clearly numbered and labelled telling you where they are headed. If you aren’t sure, just ask- everyone in Vancouver seems happy to help🙌🏼There are 9 locations you can use to help get around. You can see so much on each trip! I would definitely try and use these guys instead of taxis and the tube if you can 👌🏻 We tend to use Granville Island dock because of the food and arts nearby. Then Jump on and head over to David Lam park dock to explore Yaletown. We also used plaza of nations as it is super close to the Canucks 🏒 ice hockey stadium and shop 👍🏼👍🏼 Honestly though, just jump on and explore. If you make a mistake just jump back on- you can’t go wrong- well, unless you fell overboard 😳

What a spectacular service and experience we had riding on this today. So convenient, so fun and our boat captain was super nice! We bought the all day pass and did several stops, what a great deal! Only $20! Such a fun way to travel and see the sights.

Derek the captain was very knowledgable, informative and passionate about the history of the city of Vancouver. He explained to us the stages of development of the water front of Vancouver. The tour was very inspiring, the boat was so clean and quiet as it’s an electric boat. We highly recommend this tour especially for those who are interested to explore Vancouver. Thank you so much for your spectacular service.

Great experience. Funny tour guide. Very quiet electric and new boats, can fit about 10 people. Great way to see the shoreline and learn some history of the area. Went on a narrated 1 hour tour. Go on a good weather day, but is covered if raining. Can park stroller at the dock when boarding with a baby.

False Creek Ferries is a fantastic way to explore the shoreline and learn about the area's rich history. The electric boats are impressively quiet, new, and cozy, fitting about ten people comfortably. Our guide was hilarious and made the trip even more enjoyable with their entertaining stories and insights. It’s a unique, relaxing experience that combines stunning views with a touch of local charm. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike!
