Google
Carlinhos, the manager, was absolutely incredible. He came to our table, chatted with us about the history of the restaurant, and helped us decide what to order. Once we chose the bolognese pasta, he even brought us a fun bib to avoid spills on our clothes - very thoughtful. The food was great! Our server could’ve been a bit friendlier, and we also thought it was odd to have to pay for a to go box, especially since the food is already on the pricier side (hence the 4 stars). I’d definitely come back and would recommend this place.

Google
The rating is actually 3 1/2 stars, but I rounded up to four because of tradition and past experiences. The wait was too long and they don't accept foreign cell numbers in their warsapp waitlist system. The result? They forgot about us. After 1h30 minutes, we finally got a table. The food was excellent, as expected, but an inattentive waiter spoiled our evening yet again. With so many options in São Paulo, I'm not rushing to come back here.

Google
Atmosphere is excellent, nice live music, very nice decoration and surroundings. The food however was a bit too average for the price, so that forms the basis of my rating. The service was attentive and friendly, but they brought me the wrong cocktail and my dessert pizza took an unusually long time to be served. One last comment, considering the fairly high prices on the menu, it seems a bit cheap to charge 5 Reais for a takeaway box.

Google
One of the best (if not the best) Italian restaurant in São Paulo, hands down. It sure is expensive but the quality makes up for the price. Their pesto is the best one I've ever tasted in this city, but don't be afraid to order whatever you want to, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The service is great, all waiters are ready to help you decide and explain each dish in detail. The atmosphere is pretty neat, there's live music starting from 19h30 and depending on which table you sit at, it might be hard to talk to your partner due to the relatively loud music. The musicians usually play jazz and bossa nova. If you enjoy great Italian food and music and a have a few bucks to spare, this place is definitely for you!

Google
I was very excited to try this restaurant and the menu was vast and very appealing. However, the food came out suspiciously fast… “here’s something I made earlier” vibes… the service was lacklustre, mid order the waiter just walked off, we had to ask for a drink menu… The food visually looked great but was far too salty. No one offered us a dessert, so we just got the bill and left. And even while bringing the bill, the waiter walked off to seat another table. Beware if you go after 7pm, they slap on a €10 charge for the live music band that we didn’t know was playing and could barely hear. When I questioned it, they quickly removed this charge.

An unforgettable Italian experience in São Paulo! Famiglia Mancini offers more than just a meal – it’s a true journey through Italian flavors, music, and atmosphere. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked, the pizzas are delicious and generously topped, and the ambiance is cozy and full of character. Live music adds a special touch to the evening, making it a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends and family. The service was excellent – friendly, attentive, and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a warm vibe in the heart of São Paulo, Famiglia Mancini is a must-visit!

Google
The food came out very quickly which is suspicious as unbelievers the food was prepared before and not made to order. Everything was very cheap. The pasta Ella so we cooked and bit al dente. The chicken was dry and everything was covered in sauce. The fettuccine Alfredo tasted like kraft dinner and they charged for EVERYTHING. I wouldn’t waste your money or time here. It was very disdaining. Don’t get the hype. Waiters were friendly but other than that, we weren’t impressed.

Amazing! My girlfriend and our friends adored the atmosphere, and had a wonderful meal (that was WAY more food than we expected). Would definitely come back!

Yelp
This is my favorite place to eat whenever I'm in São Paulo! It's always an amazing experience!!

Yelp
*There is a 2-4 hour wait to get a table on weekend nights. Thankfully we got there early and sat down right away. The antipasto may be more expensive than your dish itself. Portions serve two people!

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, friendly staff and great food. Was the first restaurant I found and went to the first night I landed in São Paulo.

Yelp
The environment is great, the taste is awesome! The only thing is no one in the restaurant speaks English

Yelp
A must stop for a dining experience in São Paulo!!! If you enjoy Italian cuisine this is the place to be. Famiglia Mancini is a family owned corner that offers about 5 themed restaurants where you may dine in indoors or outdoors depending on your preference. You will be able to get pizza, pasta, seafood, full course meals and even burgers. I would definitely recommend a reservation to be safe as all the restaurants are busy during peak hours and it may be difficult to get a table. They sell wine by the bottle (even have a tiny bottle with a one glass serving). Service is good, they're friendly and help with suggestions, just be sure to be ready for at least a 30min wait for food. A must go! I had the Alfredo spaghetti with shrimp and bacon and i would love to have it again.

Yelp
Seriously, it is incredibly delicious there, I really enjoy the food every time I come here and it is a must every time I go to São Paulo. Here is the breakdown: FOOD The portioning there is very generous and it is made for sharing so be aware when ordering. Any of the pasta dish you can never go wrong with it. Order the cod fish risotto, it is seriously amazing. Very tasty and very delicious. The meat it is also very nice choice for those that enjoy and want some protein along with their meal. DECOD/ AMBIANCE Very nice ambiance and environment. It has an unique decoration and it has some amazing vibe. I would describe as a dressy casual spot perfect for a more "loud" meal. So this is not the candle light type of restaurant. SERVICE The waiters are all very respectful and friendly. They have a sense of urgency despite the business of the restaurant. OVERALL Always a great experience when I go there. I love it and I enjoy it. Make sure to come early as they don't take reservations and wait time is very long.

Yelp
I came here one evening for dinner with colleagues, and we had a really enjoyable time. Upon entering the restaurant, you immediately noticed a lovely and elegant ambience, and as you walk towards the back of the restaurant, you are greeted by the sounds of a great live piano player and other live music. I love live music! The menu is quite extensive and includes everything from meat snd fish to Pizza and pasta, and there is also a good wine and cocktail menu. For Brazilian prices, it is a bit on the pricey side, although coming from US dollars, it is quite affordable. I ordered the buffalo mozzarella pizza and a half-bottle of Carmenère. Note: The vast majority of their wines can only be purchased by the bottle, although there are a few that you can order in half a bottle for Mac, and there were two choices that were available by glass. But the ones available by glass weren't available last night in particular, so we went with a half bottle. My colleagues ordered fettuccine pasta with beef and a linguiça pizza. Service was excellent and attentive. The pizza had very fresh arugula and was hand-sliced and served by our waiter. I felt the sundried tomatoes could have had just a bit more punch, but it was still a great dish. The ambience is really the ringer for this place. It has old-world charm that isn't so easy to find these days. Glad we came here!

Yelp
The best Italian food is in São Paulo. I know I know I was skeptical too. It was a gorgeous restaurant with an authentic Italian layout. They serve the food family style so one dish serves about 3-4. They have antipasto bar which is pay by weight. And then there is the bread. A multitude of delicious bread that cost 7 reis per person. This a great dining and kudos to our waiter, Castro who used every bit of patience to get our order. Not much English speaking waiters so be prepared.

Yelp
LOVE IT. It's a trendy delicious family style restaurant. We went on a Monday evening (around 7:30pm) and it got packed within 2hrs. They have a great antepasto buffet and the bread option. The antipasto was R$13,90 per 100g and the bread option was R$7,50 per person but I'd say skip it or don't go crazy on it since the portions are huge. We had the Chicken Parmigiana with fettuccine and tomato sauce. It was around R$140,00 and we couldn't finish it. They say their meal is for two people but unless you're a starving homeless man I'd say it's more like for 3 people. Their doggy bags are the best! Ready to be heat it up in the microwave or eat it cold while waiting for your flight in the airport - which was our situation. Have fun!

Yelp
Situated on a historical u-shaped street, this s a must when visiting São Paulo. With an entertaining atmosphere and delicious food this is a good place for group dining (6 people can sit comfortably). The wine list leaves a lot to be desired but the portions were enormous of quality food. You can easily split one dish amongst two people.

Yelp
Sad to say that a friend recommended this place and unfortunately it was subpar! I had the Portuguese pizza and it lacked flavor and consistency. My friend had a chicken sandwich and it wasn't chicken... It seemed more like a patty McDonalds nuggets are made out of! Overall, good service, bad food. Based on those two plates.

Yelp
Large portion Family style. Amazing food The area of Mancini have 5 restaurants. Something for everyone. Beautiful. The best

Yelp
Nice italian place, but a bit pricey for what you get. Although I had spaghetti and I really enjoyed it, so...

Michael K.

Yelp
The setting is very nice and charming. However, the pasta was extremely disappointing. Felt like I make far better at home using Barilla and some off the shelf pasta sauces. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but the prices they ask for are equivalent to those of the best US Italian restaurants. I'd expect the same quality. Also, charging R$23 per person to listen to the music in a restaurant is unheard of. The ambiance should be factored into price of the food. Especially at these prices. Don't waste your time and money here.

Yelp
Very nice, traditional Italian restaurant from a family that owns a lot of Italian establishmens around the city. The open buffet bar is phenomenal and has a hand selected collection of cold cuts, salads and appetizers. The portions are enormous so be aware when ordering. Normal portions are for two hungry people, seafood dishes are for an entire family! The crowd watching is also fun.

Yelp
When I came to the restaurant, I wanted a very simple pasta -- linguini with meatballs. When the plate came, it was clear that the meatballs had been made the day before and held in the refrigerator. They were dried out and a bit hard, and they tasted old. The linguini was fine and the sauce adequate. When the waiter saw that I had not eaten the meatballs, I explained that they were clearly old - and he disagreed, without asking further questions. With all the add-on charges, this was a plate of pasta with inedible meatballs that cost about $50USD. Clearly Famiglia Mancini is not interested in making a simple meal like this, although they may do well with other dishes. And they had no interest in hearing my opinion of the food. I will find another Italian restaurant in Sao Paulo!

Yelp
Let me discuss the positives first. Our waiter was great and tried to communicate with us even though we spoke little to no portugese. The restaurant is beautiful and the live bossanova music fantastic! Negatives- the food was not the best and 20 US dollars (60!R$) for simple farfalle pasta with average tomato sauce is ridiculous!! I have had excellent Italian food in Italy, Argentina and US. This was terrible!

Yelp
Best pasta Ever, Come to Mama!!! I LOVE this place. I've been coming here for years and never disappoints. I don't care to stand on the side walk and wait .the restaurant is always crowed with the theater folks, actors, and great looking people. It's the best Italian food in São Paulo. Their " per pound" antipasto is to die for . Go easy or you won't be able to eat anything else. Vibrant decor, atmosphere ,long menu. You get a little lost trying to decide what to order. But you can't go wrong ,because there's nothing bad here.

Yelp
A great place for a nice dinner out. The décor and atmosphere make you feel like you are in a real Italian Trattoria. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Everything is served family style so come hungry, order in moderation, and be prepared to share!

Yelp
Very popular and excellent Italian restaurant in Sao Paulo. Very wide choice in the buffet, but also in the different typical Italian dishes. People of Sao Paulo are known as the highest consumers of pizza worldwide, which may explain the popularity and huge amount of choice of pizza's in this restaurant. As in some other Italian restaurants in Brazil you can choose different toppings for 1 (big) pizza. Regularly there is some live music (they have 2 pianos) and the vibe in the restaurant is excellent. On thursdays and weekend days it may be crowded and its possible you may have to wait 30min outside.

Nathan T.

Yelp
Super over priced, mediocre food. Terrible service. I had to ask three times just to get a drink. When we went to pay they refused to split the bill between two different groups. Never again. AVOID.

Yelp
Beautiful traditional restaurant in a charming little street. The fame precedes it. The food is good, not Awesome, but above average. You can probably find a less fancy restaurant with a more basic and traditional food in bixiga neighborhood. But it's a must go.

Yelp
This was an embarrassing experience! On a Thursday evening, I go to the restaurant that is located just opposite of my hotel and looks nice. But the people are not nice at all: being alone, I am seated at a small table, nicely located at a window. Then I get handed the menu, and start to identify my favorite dish for the evening and a wine to go with. After ten minutes, a waiter who speaks English tells me that ALL dishes are for two persons! No exceptions! What they wanted to say was that I should not stay, because I am occupying a small table for two with one person. And that means less money for them. Why they waited ten minutes to tell me is beyond my imagination. That was the rudest way of dealing with a guest that I have ever experienced. And the most stupid reason given. I can fully understand if a restaurant makes a choice of customers when it is fully booked. But not this way. The problem is that in the entire street every restaurant has the name Mancini. I don't know if the food is any good. Judging from the number of people, it seems to be okay for the money, but I cannot comment on it.
