Familiar Bakery - Revival Food Hall

Familiar Bakery is located in the old post office building at 125 S. Clark Street amongst several variety eateries. They focus on quality and prepare items in small batches. They had plenty of a variety of cookies, brownies, cakes, donuts and bars to choose from. I had an item called the Irish Coffee Larry which is similar to a cinnamon roll. It was very soft, flavorful and delicious with their coffee. There’s a lot of room to sit and relax with a group of friends that other bakeries don’t have as well as intimate places for 1 or 2 people. Cute little place and unique signature bakery items. Service was friendly and helpful.

Next time you need to get goodies for the office, this is where you need to go. These are real freaking donuts and scones - the dough itself is already really high quality before you even get to the flavors. You will impress your coworkers with these $7 donuts that only cost $3.75. The coffee's good too.

Yaaaaaas! I love that they list food allergens below the menu items. If you have food allergies, including gluten, just ask the staff for a little help. The staff are really helpful and they'll even share some menu hacks (ex: some items aren't marked gluten-free; but they are)!

I've been here a couple of times and it always looks amazing and usually tastes good. But I had the most heavy, oily donut and it just sat like a rock in my stomach all day.

Great food and service. Worth checking out.
