Family Hotel Amarin by Maistra Select

Just back from a 10 night stay. This hotel is amazing for kids, they have catered for everything- the food is so tasty, enjoyed the buffet- the staff all work so hard. They are always in the background, cleaning, cooking, clearing so you can enjoy quality time with your family. The staff in the beach bar in particular at lunch time were amazing, my favourite phrase ‘just enjoy’ and we did! Loads to entertain in the day time, spent our time between the beach and the pool. Only point that could be improved:|1. Please provide more info when checking in, we didn’t know the sunbeds on the beach were included and not charged (there is a sign saying 45 euros), we spent 3 days under a tree for shade until we realised! The reception staff could give more detail on local excursion- eg dolphin tour etc which you can book ( which was amazing). The leaflet does say download the app but we weren’t told about the Maistra app when checking in. |This hotel is not for night owls. The bar shuts down at 10.30pm and the hotel is dark and quiet- this makes it perfect for little guests and it suited us but not for everyone. I would say under 12 year olds would be the happiest at this hotel. A fabulous experience and a fantastic family hotel. Thanks to all

Paradise hotel for families & children of all ages. Food is great, a lot of seafood, options for children. Big parking. Amazing indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Recommend: reception staff can be more friendly and add smile. Restaurant and other staff are super helpful and polite. The hotel is spacious, everything is made for children. Another recommendation: to improve room cleaning a bit better please. Otherwise we will definitely come back here.

I would suggest improving the cleanliness of the buffet tables and serving area: too many dishes smelled of egg, which suggests that either the washing process or the detergents used were insufficient. That said, apart from this constructive criticism, the hotel itself is beautiful and offers a fantastic family experience with children. Definitely recommended — we will be coming back next year with our daughter!

Almost everything was good except: the cleaning lady constantly forgot to replenish the bathroom amenities like shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, and I was forced to chase her in the corridor to grasp one’s for us; and that is more importantly you should care more about the safety of your parking lots: during the 9 nights stay at your hotel our car was damaged twice: 1) the windshield of the car was broken and no cameras fixed it; 2) another car left scratches on the fender of our car and again no cameras to fix it and prove the damage… after staying at your hotel we need to repair the car at about 1500 Euro. I would definitely think twice before planning my next stay at your hotel and for now I would not make a choice to visit it next time.

Great hotel for families with kids. Parents can really relax – there are playrooms, activities, and pools for children. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are plentiful. Prices are higher, but in my opinion justified. Rooms and pools might soon need a bit of a refresh.

We visited the hotel in march. Family Hotel Amarin is a truly wonderful place for a family holiday – ideal for a first vacation with kids. Everything is thoughtfully taken care of: delicious and varied food, plenty of play options for children of all ages, and a wellness area where parents can relax and recharge in the sauna. The hotel caters to all dietary needs, including allergies and food restrictions, which made meals stress-free and enjoyable. Outside, there are spacious playgrounds and green areas where kids can run and explore freely. There’s something for both younger and older children – from creative indoor playrooms and daily activities to outdoor adventures.The beach is clean and well-kept, perfect for family fun and relaxing moments. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean, and the entire hotel is very well maintained. We were truly impressed and would gladly return!

This is the first time in a very very long time that I have absolutely zero complaints. The staff is extremely professional and very friendly. Everything is maintained and cleaned regularly. The facilities are modern and seem new or well maintained. The grounds are amazing, the greenery is beautiful and the lot is huge. The beach is great and has natural shade; water extra clean. But all of that is irrelevant when you compare to the content they have for kids. Where ever you are in the hotel or the grounds, there’s something for your kid to do - from numerous playgrounds, to kids clubs where you can leave your kid with wonderful teta-s (women taking care of kids), to the beloved net in the lobby, no stairs, water toys (inflatable stuff) free of charge for guests to use, kids shampoos and bathrobes,…. The restaurant has kid friendly options, as well as the baby corner where you can pick what foods they blend for your smallest ones. You basically don’t need to bring anything special for your kid, they will have it here. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. Though, it is definitely not the best option if your kid-free 😅

This was our first visit at Maistra Rovinj and we couldn't have been happier. The hotel was fantastic, the food was great and the staff was so accommodating and polite. Our two boys loved all the swimming pools and play areas. The facility is in a great location with wonderful ocean swimming opportunities and a beautiful view of Rovinj. We were looking for a vacation where the parents could relax and the kids have plenty of entertainment. All the different sport classes and the kids club were great and everyone had a fun and relaxing time. We loved it so much that we are looking to book for next year again!
