I had the Chilaquiles Verdes, and they were amazing—perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and so satisfying. Jason ordered the steak and eggs, and he was genuinely impressed; the steak was actually good and not dry at all (which is rare for breakfast spots!). On top of the great food, the waitresses were very friendly, which made the experience even better. Great food, generous portions, and welcoming service—we’ll definitely be back.

First time coming here! Hubby was a guest because his friend took him here. So his 2nd time here. First of all, I want to brag about their customer service. If you go to D@nnys they have so few staff to attend to you. Here they swing by several times and ask is there anything I can get for you? How's it going? And not even my the same staff!! 3 staff came by! Now their hours are 7 am to 2pm. They have been here by the time of this post 2 years. I'm very impressed. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the adventurous public movements and happenings outside. It was calm and peaceful with a nice breeze. I wanted mashed potatoes and gravy. So I ended up ordering their meatloaf! Im a veggie lover and I loved their green beans, too! Their entire menu is available any time and all day. The cappuccino was sooo 👍 good!🥰🥰🥰😋😋😋😋 Hubby likes grits, so that's why he comes here now.🍳🥓🥞 and who doesnt like eggs bacon and pancakes. Want fast friendly, warm service with your eating adventure? Very crowded and slow service . Line to get in. The portions are massive that’s why. It’s a traditional American breakfast- the flavors and options and the size. It’s small inside so it’s cramped to walk. It can also get loud due to the amount of people inside. Parking is hard it’s street parking. It’s across from the mall. So maybe you can walk it off at the mall lol

Extremely disappointed with the service and complete lack of empathy. It was my wife’s birthday, and she chose this restaurant because she likes the food and wanted to have breakfast here. I checked in for a party of seven, and the hostess told me our table would be ready in about 20 minutes. I clearly let her know that we were parked right in front of the restaurant. When our name was called, it was first announced incorrectly as a woman’s name, then corrected to my actual name. The hostess saw me and recognized me. As soon as our name was corrected, I began walking in with my child and my elderly mother-in-law, who needs assistance. It took less than two minutes to get inside. When we reached the entrance, the hostess told us our table had already been given to someone else because we “took too long.” I explained that we did not take more than two minutes and that she clearly saw us coming in. She showed no empathy and simply repeated that the table was gone. I then asked to speak with the manager. The manager had been standing there listening to the entire conversation with the hostess. When I spoke directly to her and explained the situation, she said the exact same thing — that we took too long — and that they had already given the table to someone else. I explained again that it was less than two minutes, and her response was basically, “There’s nothing we can do.” There was not a single apology from either of them. No understanding, no respect, and no attempt to make things right. The manager did not show any concern at all for how this affected us, especially on my wife’s birthday. We were simply told to go wait outside again and that maybe they would seat us if another large table opened up. After waiting over 10 minutes, they couldn’t wait less than two minutes for us to walk in. The attitude from both the hostess and the manager was cold and indifferent, as if our time and our experience did not matter at all. This was very upsetting and completely unacceptable customer service. Because of this experience, we will not be returning.

I had to drop off my car in the area. So when a friend came to pick me up, I suggested we go here and I'd buy him breakfast. It has been a while since I've been to this location. I've always gone to the one on Plaza Blvd, but not that it's moved to Lemon Grove, I don't go as often. The staff here is so friendly! Though the dining room is cozy, they all make it work! Love the parking in back! We got here just in time before the mid-morning rush. I was torn between the club omelette and the clubhouse sandwich...so I went with the omelette since I was also craving pancakes! Got a side dish of hollandaise because everything tastes great with hollandaise! Daveed had the bacon waffle and only wished it was cooked longer so it was crisper. But sugar free syrup was a plus! Everything was great! Fresh brewed iced tea! And smiles!!!! Thank you Family House! I won't stay away so long!!!

My breakfast was absolutely delicious - I got the California omelette with a side of fruit and buttermilk pancakes. The portions were huge and I had to take half of it home!

Good scrambled eggs with crispy home fries. Pancakes were good as well. We ordered takeout since we had to get back to the hotel but the location inside looked really comfy and a good vibe

Staff are very friendly and hospitable. If you're looking for a quiet spot to eat, this is not it. We were seated immediately when we arrived. Booths were a bit small, however, we aren't the smallest either. Inside everyone was happy, talking, a few toddlers smiling and enjoying their food. The woman's bathroom did have graffiti on the trash can but other than that it was clean. The food was good and they gave huge portions. Unfortunately so huge we didn't finish it all. Next time we will share a plate. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place and will visit again when we're back in San Diego. Customer service was great and they were on top of refills.

Decided on this local breakfast spot , there is parking in the back and street as well. It was about 11a and there was a 20 minute. Normal for breakfast and dining out I think. The restaurant itself is not too big not too small. It looks like an older place for sure, it would benefit from even a small upgrade on key items. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress Sophia was diligent and helpful. They kept my coffee cup full the entire time ! Which I love but I did not love the food. We got the Denver omelet , which is my go to at any new breakfast spot. You can't really mess that up , they this place sadly did. For me , the texture of the eggs were so odd and the American cheese rhey a melted in top made it inedible

Everything was very fast. This restaurant has got it down! Seating was quick ordering was quick and our food came out hot and quick. The staff is very pleasant and cares that you really like your food. The blueberry pancakes came with a ton of blueberries and were tasty but the star of the show was the sweet potato waffles. No they did not burn my waffles. I asked for them well done, they even offered that if it was too well done, they would remake it, but it was perfect! If this place is busy when you come, don't let that detour you because they are quick and worth the stop.

Not bad. They were very busy but we were seated immediately. We ordered coffee, water & a Diet Coke. When the waitress came back for our food order, we asked for the Lumber Jack Breakfast and the Club Sandwich plate. We've eaten at FHP before so we kinda knew what to expect. We've never really liked it either, but I decided to give this location a try, hoping for the best. Same thing. The potatoes never have any salt/flavor. I don't know if they oven-bake these or what, but they should season them first. For reals... Everything else was ok; I had a lot of meat on my plate, and the Club Sandwich was enough food to take home for leftovers. Our server could have been more attentive, but that's why we kept bugging another one. The place was packed and the noise level was about a 7 on a scale of 1-10. The restaurant is not very big, so just know that before you go.

Ok so this place is pretty small. Doesn't have the fanciest decor but it's homey and welcoming. The atmosphere is positive and everyone we encountered was so nice. Service was really good, never had to ask for anything and was checked up on (they weren't pushy or overly checking in on us either). The food did go up a little in price but that's no biggie especially for the portion size anddd how good the food is. I will always come back here! My friend who I brought for her first time loved everything! 100/10 recommend!

So I've been coming here for a while I just never put in a review well here's the review best breakfast in San Diego hands down portions are large Services outstanding the coffee is perfect do yourself a favor if you're ready for some breakfast come on down and eat it's a little pricey but most breakfasts are now but at least you get your money's worth here the pancakes too are phenomenal like I said do yourself a favor come here for breakfast and sometimes I regret giving reviews like this because it make it harder to get in they're usually pretty packed but we always get in pretty quick.

I visited this popular Chula Vista eatery as part of a week long celebration Honoring the memory of my late wife by visiting restaurants that we frequented before she passed. I was celebrating the 25th anniversary of our first date which coinsides with our 23rd wedding anniversary. I liked that my server listened to me. I liked that the service was friendly and attentive. I liked that my food was as visually appealing as well as delicious. My eggs over easy arrived to table perfectly fried. My bacon was also perfectly prepared, nice and crispy. But not overcooked. My Wheat Toast was nicely buttered and toasted just right. I really appreciate that they serve Blackberry jelly upon request fory toast,Which will be a deciding factor in choosing a breakfast spot when I'm craving Blackberry jelly. My home fries were a slight disappointment, in that to my way of thinking a good recipe for home fries includes green bell peppers and onions which in this restaurant was an option at an additional cost. A cost I wasn't willing to pay nor inquire about. I am happy to report that they did include salsa at no additional cost which to a large degree made up for the lack of the afore mentioned ingredients. That being said when I'm hungry for Home Fries I'll choose Manna. I the coffee was good. Hot and strong but not overly strong an icecube made it the correct temperature for my personal preference. Some creamer, and sugar rendered it a great flavor combination for my taste buds. While this meal cost 3 times what I pay at a fast food joint, the experience was 10 times better. I came here on a Monday, and it wasn't too crowded. There was still available parking behind the restaurant. The place smells like urine. Because I was hungry, I chose to stay. After I ordered coffee, it seemed to me that I was forgotten. I had to wave down the waitress to take our order, which is never a good sign of what's to come. There are no prices on the not listed on the menu, so I had no idea what to expect to pay. I ordered an omelette and side of potatoes with pancakes. I wanted to add on spinach, which I was told would be $1.50 upcharge, and $2 for sour cream. I passed on the additions to my omelette. I was shocked that they charged $1.50 to share food. Either the owner's business is hurting, or they are greedy. The food arrived fast. It was ok. It wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. The cheese tasted fake. It didn't taste right. This older gentleman, the busse, kept refilling my coffee, which is a plus. Not one person came by the ask how the food was. No one came to pick up our plates at the end of the table either. While there, a customer almost slipped on the rug leading up to the restroom. When I was ready to leave, I had to wave the busser down to get the check because our server ignored our table. The busser was kind enough to get the check for us and even asked how everything was. I told him he was the only one who was attentive and only person to ask how everything was. The one omelette, which came with 2 sides, including the $1.50 upcharge for sharing came out to $28. That gives you an idea of what you'd be paying. If you're desperately hungry and you don't have time to search for a breakfast spot, then this place is OK, but only as a last resort. I'd highly recommend searching for another breakfast spot, instead of choosing to eat here.

We LOVE Family house! We loved it when it used to be in Chula, this location is not as nice but it more than makes up for it with the food and service. Throughout our meal they were constantly refilling coffee /water and checking in on us. Servers are friendly and attentive. The food came out quick and was delicious. It's hard to find good home style breakfast spots anymore so this place is a goldmine!

So I have mostly good things to say about FHOP in Chula Vista. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly host. She is great, communication skills, looked straight into my eyes, very positive, big smile and friendly voice. I immediately fed off of her personality and vibes. She sat us down at a booth and said our waitress will be right with us. I asked her for her name and she said "Mandi." Thank you so much for your amazing customer service. Our waitress showed up and not so friendly. We placed our order, and once she brought our meal out we never encountered her again until she brought our check out. Which I did not think it was fair to the hostess who was attending to us more. I left a tip and hopefully it was split with the hostess. Let's talk about the food. The food was delicious. My personal opinion this is one of the best breakfast spots in San Diego. Traditional breakfast. Although my food was delicious, I ordered the seafood omelette which was a bit shy on the crab and seafood. Pictures to be posted.

We are in town for a wedding looking for a breakfast spot read the reviews which were all really good. We went around 10 AM on a Saturday it was busy which was expected the service was fast and friendly the food was absolutely delicious. Large portions can definitely be shared. I highly recommend it!!!

Service was excellent, everyone was friendly and worked together. Coffee was always full and plates were cleared as soon as I was finished. Food came out quickly. It was ok, my major complaint about the food was that my country fried steak tasted like it was fried in old/burnt oil. Other: Giant Menu +20 pages, They close at 2pm, Parking in rear or on street, small to medium groups (booth/bar/table seating), definitely older interior. I would come back but probably not for breakfast or for anything fried.

I was hoping for a lot maybe based on the reviews. To celebrate kid birthdays they wanted to go to pancake lunch! Portions were huge so I appreciated that at $15-20 per dish. It was weird the table menu actually didn't have any prices so you had to scan the QR code at the back for the menu with prices. The selection of pancakes/waffles/crepes were exciting but in execution I was a bit underwhelmed. -My CA omelette: I thought it'd be a fluffy pancake but It was almost like thin egg wrapping around the innards if that makes sense. At first I was worried the piece of avocado on top was all I got, but thankfully at the end there was a ton more. I just started from the wrong side. It was pretty darn greasy between the bacon, oil and cheese. And there was SO MUCH American cheese. If I had known it was American cheese, I probably would've asked for less, or possibly none. It was just a lot. You get two sides, so I got thinly sliced/crisped potatoes and pancakes. 3 huge pancakes which I shared with others/brought home. The potatoes were super greasy and needed more salt. -Cobb salad - it was a senior portion but it was still quite large. It looked good! -Banana nutella crepes - how can you go wrong with banana, Nutella, and whipped cream? The crepe batter was thicker than what I was expecting, but the kids enjoyed it. - Banana pecan pancakes - it was supposed to have banana in the batter but I didn't really taste it in this or the triple B stack of pancakes. It was fluffy but didn't taste that different from a regular stack. The amount of bananas weren't large either. -Triple b pancakes - banana, bacon, and PB - the PB just came on the side, I thought it would be mixed in or slathered on top. I saw bacon pieces inside the pancake and on top but again I wasn't blown away. Our server was super sweet bringing a strawberry birthday crepe - it was delicious but again how do you go wrong with a dessert like this?? The service was great and fast, I was just ok on the food. We definitely had a lot of leftovers come home though!

Ordered pickup; huge mistake. My grandfather got eggs, bacon, and toast; my uncle had a garden scramble; I got strawberry crepes with the "deluxe" option (an extra $5 for almost nothing). They said 15 minutes. Paid $60 ($58 with cash because they add a card surcharge). Got home; everything was cold. Not just lukewarm, but pre made, badly microwaved cold. The crepes? Absolutely vile. No flavor, terrible texture, and a sad little side of whipped cream as if that could fix them. The "deluxe" upgrade? A complete scam. One pathetic egg and mediocre sausage. Then I went to the bathroom. Disgusting. It smelled bad, was visibly unsanitary, and clearly not maintained. If the bathroom is that gross, imagine what the kitchen looks like. This place is a joke. Overpriced, low effort food, and zero cleanliness. Stay far away.

My number one place for comfort food, love the breakfast menu of waffles, crepes and French toast. Plus the omelette is excellent, I almost feel like ordering everything off the menu and the staff are so nice and friendly; super great service!

Went for breakfast this past Saturday and it was packed. Sat at the counter, was greeted and received my coffee instantaneously. Ordered my omelette and pancakes.. WOW! came fast and hot. Food was good and tasted good. Loved the staff as they were all friendly and everyone attending to you with a smile. If you want an old school, good breakfast with no BS, this is it! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars because menu didn't have the prices on it. A little weird for a breakfast spot but whatever. It was worth it.

The fluffiest of pancakes and waffles I've ever had. Warm and light to taste. Service was good, it took forever to get a table as expected on a Sunday. But! No communication given from the hostess to us or anyone what the wait was or what was going to happen. 30 minutes we sat down to a tight space. Coffee tasted like bean water. No caffeine in sight. Warm creamers on the table to the french vanilla creamer tasting funky. The food came out quickly and was so good. The chilaquiles were delicious! And crunchy. For my waffle, the Bacon was okay. Potatoes weren't the greatest but a definite good addition to my 1 egg. --- Side note: we paid for a to-go order and got some side eyes from the wait staff when asked why we wanted to order it along with our food.. definitely not cool from the staff to frown on the to-gos.

For starters, I first went here in the 70's and the building and dining area haven't changed much, if at all and I like that. The menu is slightly different, but all the old favorites are still there. The wife and I go there once a month on average and we always go home with leftovers, because they give you so much. I've never had a complaint about the food or service. My only complaint comes from the experience we had today. I don't know how long this has been happening, but they automatically added a tip to the bill. When we left, my wife went to pay the bill and I left about a 30% tip(cash) on the table under the rim of a plate before I exited. When the wife came out, she showed me the receipt and it had an additional $8 added to it as a tip. I asked if she'd hit a button on the card machine to add a tip and she said no. She went back in and they explained tips are automatically added to bills. Being old school, this was a bit of a turn off for me. I'm not gonna claim I'll never eat there again or anything like that, but it really soured the experience. I have to assume patrons have slacked off on tips. Why else would they implement this?

The food is always on point. Their Denver omelette is great. The service yesterday was not good. Our waitress was very unfriendly to the point she looked mad. We were seated before 2 other people but were served after they were. My husband actually asked her how are you doing. I watched her and she grinned and laughed with other customers. The hostess was the best she offered my husband additional sausage since what he ordered was a bit too spicy for him. Everytime I have eaten there it's mostly Spanish customers and we are black. I hate to think it had anything to do with that and maybe she was just having a bad day. Next time hope it's different. If you want a nice serving and for it to taste good try this place.

I have been meaning to write this spot a 5 star for some time. It's obvious been around forever. I've never been here after 10AM. This thing in the photo, this monstrosity, the TROPICAL PANCAKES. This is all you need. Lots of butter, syrup, that toasted coconut, bananas, pineapple. Dude. The diabeetus is calling every single time I scarf these down. But they're so so good. The prices are legit, the amount of food is almost overwhelming but how can you complain about that?!

It was not god at all, I ordered steak & eggs , my daughter ordered a carne asada burrito, the steak tasted like seafood, the burritos was bad , a lot guacamole less flavor, so expensive, it's not worth spending so much for what they offer, also the service was terrible, I will never come back ,

I would not come again the place smells horrible and I ordered a steak and it tasted like the smell the milkshakes are super good and the French toast but when I ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito it was salty the service was great

I LOVE this place. I want to bring everyone I know. The servers are fast, kind with each other, fluid, thoughtful, and thorough. They accept Apple Pay. The restaurant is always busy, but I can't say it enough: it's worth the wait. I usually come alone or with a partner, and they never treat me bad. Better than any place I've even been in San Diego. A hidden gem. Hard workers. Wow.

Food = 5/5 - chicken fried steak Service = 5/5 - always had a full coffee cup Ambiance = 4/5 - a typical diner We recently discovered this place (even though it's been in existence since the 60's) through Yelp and decided to come in for breakfast. We're SO glad we did! It's a small diner on a busy street across from the Chula Vista Shopping Center with a small parking lot in the back. We got there around 1pm so the breakfast crowd had already passed, but we still had to wait for about 10 minutes. This is a typical diner with a bar and open view to the kitchen. What was impressive is the food coming out of the kitchen and onto everyone's tables. Every plate looked delicious and the portions were gigantic! I ordered the Fiesta Omelette which had shredded beef, avocado, cheese and sour cream. Even though I was starving when we came in, I only was able to finish 1/3 of the meal! It was huge! It came with 2 sides which I picked the potatoes and biscuits. You MUST get the biscuits. Just trust me. Also at the table was the Chicken Fried steak which was proclaimed by my Texas husband as the best Chicken Fried steak he's had in California. It didn't taste frozen and it was prepared from beef, not ground beef like other chicken fried steaks. In a previous visit we had pancakes which were also fantastic and more than we could eat in one sitting. This is one of our new favorite breakfast spots - don't expect anything fancy.. just really good food.

Whoa! What a place! I'm not too sure if it was because it was the festive weekend or this is just the place to be but... it was packed!!! It was just me and a friend so we got a bit of faster service as we opted to be ok sitting by the bar. They were prompt to serve the cups of coffee, took our order and honestly the wait was not that prolonged for how busy it was... big shout out to the cooks making it happen! The host are running around doing it live... and for the most part they are doing an awesome job! Huge kudos! The only thing that I would like to point out is to smile a bit more... although I understand that things are hectic and fast paced please remember to smile :-) The food is packed with flavor the omelet I got was big enough to feed two people easily! Ridiculously delicious. I will certainly come around once I'm back down in San Diego... you've earned yourself another happy customer.

Our go to spot for breakfast. Their omelets are always amazing and the potions are super generous. It's always busy but I never feel rushed. We will always come back here.

My BFF and I wanted to grab breakfast before heading to the airport, this restaurant popped up when I did a search for breakfast places. This restaurant's parking is free and is either in the front by the sidewalk or they have parking in the rear as well. The interior and furniture of this restaurant looked outdated and old but the restaurant was clean. The menu was huge and a little overwhelming but they seemed to have some unique twists on their breakfast selections. My BFF had the Cajun Sausage Links & egg while I ordered the crab cake Benedict with the white jalapeño sauce. Both of the portions were plentiful but the food was just okay. The potatoes were soggy, the crab cake tasted like a crab flavored pancake patty and like it was frozen then thawed and then just thrown on the grill for color. Also the white jalapeño sauce on top tasted like a spicy cheese sauce. I love Benedict's anything but I couldn't finish half of this.

The food is amazing. This is homemade soul food mexican sazón. The portions are huge! Also a plus. The service is fast and friendly, they speak Spanish and English. It's (like the name says) a family atmosphere, but it's a small place and can be quite noisy. The only thing I dislike is that the space between tables is reduced and can feel overwhelming when there are people with strollers or toddlers

Solid breakfast spot while in Chula Vista. This place serves monster portions. They're signature item being pancakes of course. We decided on a bacon egg and cheese scramble with potatoes and a pancakes as a side. (They give 3 full size buttermilk pancakes for a side!!!) I ordered the red bean chili con carne omelet with cheese a side of tomatoes and the (big stack) of pancakes. The waitress came out with their homemade salsa. Man that was incredible. Flavorful with minimal spice. Service was so attentive. We took enough for for the next days breakfast. Highly recommend this gem that been around over 50 years.

I miss the National City location, but appreciate that the Chula Vista location is holding it down for all of San Diego. It doesn't matter when I go, I am always satisfied with the service and the meal. The two biggest problems are the parking and the wait -- but I will ignore both because I so enjoy Family House. If you do not arrive before 10 a.m. on most weekends, expect to wait 30, 45, 60 minutes, especially because this restaurant is very small -- a bit smaller than the old National City location (which shut down in 2022). It's worth the wait. I usually go as a pair, but it is wonderful to go with family. The go to menu items are definitely the pancakes (which you can get topped with sweet fruits of different kinds), the breakfast burritos (which I never order but come highly recommended) and -- my favorite -- the eggs Benedict with bacon instead of Canadian bacon and with a side of grits. I always ask them to go light on the hollandaise because they love the slather it on. When they say family house they mean family-style servings. You will have enough left over for lunch and a snack. I also love that they serve grits. It can be hard to find grits on any menu in San Diego, and sometimes when they are served, they are soup-like. Family House gets them just right. Every time. The one thing that tends to be hit or miss: the hash browns. Sometimes they are perfectly cooked and other times they are barely browned, translucent almost and drowning in greasy butter. There seems to be no in between.

It's a classic dinner atmosphere. It's packed, it's tight, it's loud. Waitstaff is constantly weaving through the tables bringing food, drinks, and coffee to the diners. My first sign that this was a good diner is that they gave you the option to have pancakes as a carb side. So I got the club omlette with pancakes and homestyle potatoes. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The homestyle potatoes were more like potatoes au gratin without the sauce, but good with a little ketchup. The omlette was prepared like a Omurice, and wrapped around the generous filling. I got two meals out of that order easy with take-out. The only downside was the diner boomers blathering their boomer nonsense at the table next to us. But that's standard for a diner, and not the establishments fault. 10/10 would go back again.

I loved going to the Family House of Pancakes in National City and when I visited this location, I was hoping to get the same experience. The food was good but def not the same quality and size as the National City location. The waitress that took our order was super fast and I would say their service here is very similar to the National City location! I love their salsa and their fiesta omelette, I get that every single time I order from Family House of Pancakes. The flavor is so delicious with the egg, cheese, shredded meat, etc. it's a must try. The wrap was ok, a very typical wrap I must say. For the ambience, It is super busy and the tables are really crowded and near each other so it's hard to maneuver around, especially if you have kids with you. Overall, if you miss the National City location, this location will give make you feel nostalgic and taste is all the same. Just don't expect the same portion and the space here is way smaller.

Well what do you know, I always thought that there was something special about this place. As it turned out they have some pretty amazing pancakes. So last week we were here... The portions are good and we ended up with pancakes to go and boy it tastes so good toasted the following day... Yummy! We ordered a country scramble... Mushroom, ham, onions, cheese, bell peppers, tomatoes. My wife enjoyed it very much. I ordered the steak and eggs. My order came with potatoes and a side of pancakes. My coffee was never left cold as it was topped off continuously. The staff is super friendly and as one can see this may be a weekly ritual in the making

I came here with my boyfriend for the first time. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and strawberry crepes. Before we could start eating an incident happened but was quickly taken care of with the help of the manager, Sheri (I think that was her name). She comped our whole meal when it wasn't necessary at all. She was so lovely. The pancakes were incredible! Overall, the service is amazing, food is amazing, and as far as ambiance. It is slightly loud but we could still hear each other.

House of Pancakes has always been a hit for our family. Well served. You can share a plate. On Sunday, August 23, my husband decided to order take out. Ok I said great! I ordered two omelettes with a side of house potatoes and pancakes. When he got home I opened the containers they came in and I was so disappointed to see how much less food was in them. The pancakes were small and not much potatoes. Not worth the price of $19 and let alone share the plate. Not going back. Will need to find a new favorite place.

My first time coming here. I came here with my friend and her kids, this place was very accommodating and considerate! The service here is great! Their menu is huge and they have great banana pancakes and egg scramble is delicious! I will be returning here! The ambiance is very much a classic diner and big menu

This was my second time here. And I will say, this is one of the best breakfast place spots I've been to. The food is delicious and the food portions are generous. I will definitely be back every time I'm in San Diego. Rub Thank you Rubi for your great service

1 word...AMAZING ! This little breakfast house in Chula vista is the place to be for breakfast. Amazing portions of delicious food.The service there is top notch. They treat you like your family there. The place is always crowded there ,so it goes to show how well this place is liked. Great selection of breakfast meals on the menu. They do serv lunch there but have not tried yet.My go to spot in the A.M.

1-The half and half creamer in the table was expired. 2- I order the banana pancakes and they gave me butter milk!!! She wrote down the wrong order. 3- the staff are extremely rude!!!
