The doctor is very thorough with questions and his overall assessment and has a wonderful bedside manner. The nurse who helped me with paperwork, did my initial assessment and took my blood, was also very very kind and great at her craft! The facility was very clean and it was very easy to schedule online. I was very pleased with my experience and would and will recommend!

I appreciate how soon there was availability (same day), and grateful they are close to my home. My visit was virtual with the FNP, and I was warned about this before being seen. At first I wasn’t too excited about a virtual visit, but I enjoyed the nurse/assistant Farina (in person). Her attention to detail and observation on what my problem was gave me comfort. She simply explained to me the health benefit mechanics of an item I purchased for my problem, and how it would help me for my solution. She gives off vibes of being a knowledgeable and experienced individual. Thank you Farina (sorry if I spell your name incorrectly).

Easy and helpful - small business, less corporate nonsense. The nurse was not on site, but they were able to run the labs on site while we spoke to the nurse remotely - they got me the information I needed quickly

Posting an update since my last review, I still could not be happier with the service here. The doctors and staff are so kind, patient, understanding and take the time to explain the why. I use them as my primary care because it is the only doctor office that has given me appropriate care so far in Chicago. I never feel rushed or judged and they listen to ME about decisions on MY health. This location is excellent and I can’t recommend them enough!! Thank you thank you thank you!

This location is my to go place since they have opened. If you don't have time for your regular physician appointment, it is a great option. All staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. So far I have been very lucky with their diagnosis and with their help managed to solve all of my immediate problems. Thank you!

I had an ear blockage and was able to get it cleared quickly. Gabby the nurse practioner helped to check my ear and Farina cleared my ear. Thank you both very much.

We needed to go to a family urgent care while being in the area... we walked in.... Seems to be one person working.... Lady at the desk says she's a medical assistant. Not a nurse. And the doctor works remotely... & we can FaceTime the doctor if we wanted. Why.. is the Doctor....at an urgent care...working remotely??? Why is there no other Doctors...no Nurses.. but one medical assistant.. & she's the only person working.? It's an urgent care...? For Urgent......Care..... I have all the "Whys?" for this situation. She said she couldn't even provide medical care so like......? So I just paid 20$ for parking (bc the Chicago pay app min reload is 20$) to not be there receiving care.. ok

Fraudulently booked an appointment for me when I have absolutely not requested any of their services and will not give me a straight answer about charging me or removing me from their system. DO NOT GO HERE

Been here twice, got my covid test done here yesterday. I was out of town for a couple weeks. Highly recommend this facility for any covid, urgent care type conditions to come here. This staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Wait time was also better than i had anticipated. More laid back then most urgent cares. This one is locally owned and operated. They are open from 9-9. 7 days parking is in the rear of building too. All to most insurances say are accepted on the wall.

I went for them to see a spot on my forehead that was swelling rapidly. they told me to get antibiotics from Walgreens. And then I got a bill for $477. I live next door to this urgent care and if I really needed help I would make sure to find another place to go.

I'm a type1 diabetic who's visiting for 4 days. I forgot some of my insulin pump and CGM supplies. You cannot use a regular blood tester because the CGM and pump use Bluetooth to connect to each other. I have my fast acting insulin and syringes. However, I have no long acting insulin. I am VERY disappointed the lady I saw today said oh, you don't need any long acting, just test 6 times every day and keep pushing the fast acting. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU HANDLE A TYPE ONE DIABETIC. Before I started the pump in February, I used fast AND long acting for DECADES. I don't make ANY insulin! It would have made my life easier if she had just prescribed 1 bottle of long acting to use while I'm still here! I know the dosage to use. But no, instead I'm stuck using fast acting. It wears off and I have NO insulin! Sure, let's tempt the ketoacidos gods...

This place should shut down. The two receptionists was laugh at me when I was inside the room, I heard what are they talking shit about my sickness.

As others have mentioned if I could give this office ZERO stars I would. They billed my insurance for visits I didn't schedule or make, didn't refill a prescription my insurance asked them to comply with (so that I would come in monthly instead to bill), and on top of it no one knows who or what is going on at any time. I understand being a medical professional must be difficult right now but these people aren't professionals. This office is an insurance scam and they're making fraudulent claims to peoples insurance. I've already filed a claim with the BBB and city.

This is a FRAUDULENT business that the City of Chicago should shut down. I was charged $260 for a rapid 20 minute COVID test. They told me I could leave and they'd call me with the results in 20 minutes. NEVER CALLED. When I called them I was directed to an office in Indiana and they told me that office was closed. Literally stole $260.

This place needs to be shut down. All they did was check my weight and temperature. They didn't do a proper assessment of what could be causing my symptoms. I don't even think I was checked by an actual physician. She asked me a lot of questions and gave me a lot of hypotheticals that someone on the street could have easily done. She asked me if I wanted a strep test when my throat didn't even hurt. I left with no answers and very confused. I now have to schedule an appointment to see another doctor because this was an absolute joke and I still have no answers for my symptoms.

I can't decide if I'm likelier to catch a disease from a public restroom or here, a MEDICAL institution. I went for a covid test, the staff did not wear masks. There was no sort of ventilation. They don't even have AC. I was given the swab and asked to SELF administer while I was still in the LOBBY. I didn't see a licensed medical professional while I was there. If I didn't have covid upon entry, I certainly do now. I went to physicians immediate care after, and they administered a legitimate covid test. Wish me luck!

New to the Chicago area and decided to try Family Urgent Care on Halsted to provide me a medical clearance for surgery. I really enjoyed the service, attention to detail and care that was provided. My physician had great bedside manners and was obviously invested in my health. I will be returning to make my Dr. Mahmood my primary care physician!

I went to get my physical and had a great experience with the physicians and nurse practitioners. However, be careful with billing! I had insurance that was supposed to cover my services and the department wasn't being clear with me on what I needed to pay. Months later I get a small bill. I pay it and the next month I get an additional bill. I changed my address and they never forwarded another bill!! Now, it'll show as late. I called and she said she would call me back after dong some research and that has been a few days. This has sketch all over it. I wouldn't recommend this place based on the unprofessional service. Update: they saw my review and promptly called me to settle the issues I had. Resolved.

I needed to get a surgical clearance for a surgery I had scheduled in a few weeks. I needed to get blood panel, EKG and basic vitals. The nurse told me the result would be sent to my surgeon in a few days. Several days later, I called to follow-up, since my surgeon had still not received the clearance. My calls went directly to an answering service, they informed me there had a water main break and the care facility was closed for the day. They said there was no other way to contact anyone from the facility. They said to call back the next day. I called again the next day and the same thing, office still closed and no idea when they would reopen. After several days of calling, I decided to go to another facility since it had been over a week the Family Urgent Care was closed. The other facility went to was able to get my blood work results and the clearance letter to my surgeon in 2 business day. My main issue with this place was the unprofessional handling of the answering service, they were downright rude. Second, this facility completely dropped the ball with their patients. There should have been some effort on following-up on their patients during the closure.

I didn't have any problems with sanitation just the coronavirus test took 4 business day which is fine. When I first called the lady said 1 day and that's the only reason why I got the test here. However when the test was being taken that's when I figured out it would take 3-4 business days. Just wish I was told that but I wasn't until he pulled the stick out of my nose. Good staff though they were nice.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS I WOULD THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! This is a joke not a doctors office. I never ever write yelp reviews but this one I had to write! This is unacceptable and I hope no one ever comes here or sends anyone they love here. For one there is only a doctor here twice a week!!!! The receptionist doesnt know what the hell she is talking about. They never call you back for results with anything even if the results come back bad!!!!!! I AM A MEDICAL ASSISTANT PEOPLE DO NOT LET A DOCTOR TELL YOU IT TAKES DAYS TO GET BLOOD TEST BACK BLOOD WORK COMES BACK THE NEXT DAYYYYYY!!! This place is a death hole the doctor doesn't give a shit about you he just wants to get you in and out they are unprofessional and dirty! STAY AWAY DO NOT GO HERE

I wish I could give this place a zero. I have strep throat and they won't tell me if the culture came back positive or negative, they told me I have to come in for an appointment in order to get my lab results. It is illegal to withhold someone's lab results. The doctor also didn't even know how long a strep culture takes to come back AKA she is not a good doctor. That is a common test and if she doesn't know that then there is a larger problem here. Stay away.

This place needs shut down. I wish I could give zero stars and had read reviews before coming in. I got a COVID test on August 4th and was told my results should be back on the 7th. When I walked in and saw the front desk girl with her mask pulled down I should have left. Also thought it was weird she did my swab right in the open in the lobby. Anyway, On the 8th I had not heard back so I called. They told me they would call the lab and call me back. I had to call every day until the 12th to ask about my results and every time they said the lab didn't have them or they would call me back. They never called me back. The people on the phone are incredibly unprofessional and I finally asked for the labs number. I called the lab right away and they informed me that my results were back and had been sent to the urgent care already. I cannot believe this place refuses to give me my results and has done nothing to help me. Please go anywhere else, especially if you need lab results! You will be left in the dark without ever knowing the result. They are the most unethical urgent care I have ever encountered.

Walked in with no appointment, saw doctor in 15 min, He very knowledgeable, kind, and seemed to really listen. My regular doctor was unavailable that day and I needed care urgently. I would not hesitate to return. Professional....Thankful they were there!!

Visited family urgent care the other day and was initially nervous, but the staff and practitioner on site were very kind and helpful. The wait time was short compared to other practices in the area. The practitioner was thoughtful and took her time to explain things carefully, which helped ease my anxiety. Overall I had a great experience and look forward to my next appointment!
