We only stayed one night instead of the 3 nights we booked. We had booked the double room with bathroom. The staff was super friendly, but the room was not worth $50. If I had paid the prices like in other hostels, I would have expected something different. We had no towels or toilet paper (which is difficult to ask for when you find out when you go to the toilet). The bathroom was ... already older and unfortunately not maintained. There were stains everywhere. Our towels were not clean and had stain also, so did the bedspread. In addition, the door lock was broken, which she had to break open on the day of our departure so that we could get to our things. Unfortunately, no one spoke even a little English, which complicated everything a bit. Wifi was also rather like this - sometimes stable, sometimes not. However, the friendliness of the staff should be emphasised. Not only did they try to give us another room, they also accommodated us and we only had to pay for the one night.

I'm not really sure where to start with this review. Quite simply, the stay in this hostel was one of the worst hostel experiences I have ever encountered. The staff are beyond rude and make no attempt to help with any kind of issues. You might well have a booking for a bed in a room but you can arrive and be told you're staying at a different location (which is just a wooden shed at the bottom of a garden). Beyond that, they're doing lots of maintenance and so you'll be woken up at 9am to the sound of wood saws, hammers and electric drills (see pictures). Oh what paradise. The rooms in the main hostel are also without air conditioning and thus boiling hot by about 8am. ||On top of that, the staff/owners know who isn't happy and cancel the reservations on hostelworld of people to avoid them leaving bad reviews (hence their excellent ratings). It's also slightly suspicious that those who do leave reviews are people who have only stayed in one place. ||In their defence, the common areas are quite nice (aside from the 10mm nails sticking out of most of the furniture). However, the price of these rooms were insane - you can stay at a nice hotel for the same price. I can honestly say I wouldn't stay here again if they offered me a free bed. I'd advise anyone who enjoys clean, quiet and liveable space to do the same.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 2 friends. We chose this hostel due to the good location and from the pictures it looked very nice. Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here.||The good points are that the hostel is in a good location, it's clean, has a nice pool and outdoor seating, our room had a fan with lots of storage space, tv, wifi and clean bedding. It has a kitchen and dining area and overall is decorated very nicely. ||The bad points are it is very noisy - our room was located right next to reception which plays music loudly until midnight and we could also hear everything going on in the dining area just around the corner as well as all the noise outside by the pool.|| We couldn't open our curtains as our room backed onto the pool area so everyone could see inside. There was usually a party going on outside til pretty late every night.|| Although everywhere advertised this hostel as having a bar, we were told the bar is not open until summer. Some places also show it as having breakfast included but this place doesn't offer breakfast. ||The worst thing about this hostel is the lack of toilets. 90% of the time I needed to use the bathroom, someone was already in there and I would have to go around trying all the doors, sometimes for as long as 45 minutes until I could get an unoccupied bathroom. ||The hostel is also under construction at the moment so although it looks very pretty in the pictures, you don't see the building work going on. Our friends had builders working right outside their room and had to squeeze past them and all their tools every time they went back and forth during the day. This also added to all the noise going on.||I wouldn't recommend this hostel for couples. I'd say it's definitely for a younger crowd. Don't stay here if you value your sleep and enjoy using a bathroom at your leisure !

The location is pretty good once it is around 15min walk to the city centre.||The rooms are OK pretty much like the average of the hostels: lots of beds but still clean.||The showers are OK and the hot water was working perfectly.||The common area is awesome. It has tables, swimming pool and bar. Perfect spot to relax and get along with other travellers. However the bar is not very well supplied. I've ordered an ordinary beer and they didn't have it.

We booked this hostel because it looked stunning on hostel world, and in fairness its a nice place. To have a pool in a hostel was nice and the music was good.|However, we were clearly treated differently for being English speaking, even though we were polite and kind all of the time! The staff were rude to us and clearly made our cocktails without alcohol. We were then told we weren't allowed to pay on card (baring in mind we had already paid on card for the hostel and then for laundry) we were then told we had to go and get the money that evening. Baring in mind we are 3 female travelling so venturing our the 20 minute walk to the shopping mall at 9pm isn't the greatest idea! But we were told we HAD to pay that evening. The best part.. They cancelled our booking after we left so we couldnt leave a review on hostel world.... And if you read what other people have said they clearly do this alot. So wouldn't bother!

Great hostel, friendly people with good installations. Had blankets at night (was cold but didn't feel too cold), and the shower was warm with good water pressure. Was disappointed it didn't include breakfast. Also the bar and pool were closed for the winter season. But overall a good experience!

The location is great and the price is fair. But the place needs better maintenance. The door of our bathroom didn't close properly without having to hit hard and the bathroom door got stuck in the bathroom floor making a loud noise everytime. The sheets smelled like bleach. The reception service is ok. But in the check out they didn't have change and it was almost impossible to use credit card.
