“A day full of thrills, laughter, and fun at the amusement park! 🎢🎠🎉 Had the best time making memories!”Celebrated my birthday at the amusement park and it was a blast! Rides, fun, and joy all around – couldn’t have asked for a better day!”

Allison DeVito Klein

Google
Perfect little amusement park! My kids are 4 and 6 and loved it here. Nice selection of rides and the park and all rides are so clean and well maintained - it is literally IMMACULATE. Cleanest amusement park we have ever been to. Such a nice crowd and great way to spend an evening after the beach. We went on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded and didn't have to wait more than 3 minutes for a ride. Highly recommend!! We will be back for sure.

I went to the park this lovely Memorial Day weekend. I’ve been coming to Fantasy Island for years but this trip was truly just the best! Although the park was busy my family and I were still treated as if we were the only people in the park. I wanted to write this post however to give some recognition to the wonderful ladies in the food venues throughout the park. My family is quite large and even when ordering multiple items from many different vendors (and dropping a pretty penny at each may I add) each and everyone of them greeted me with a smile and sent me off with a “have a good day”. I’ve had many interactions with these ladies dating back many years and I know every single time I see them I am going to have a pleasant experience (and I know they recognize me as well). So thank you Fantasy Island for another fun filled weekend and thank you for bringing back the burgers, my husband really appreciates it!

My niece and grandnieces went to the park and had ice cream at the ice cream parlor. I don’t remember her name, but this girl from Spain helped us and she was very helpful, she explained all the flavors to my grandnieces and she was very patient. We also went to the arcade and all the team members were amazing and everything was super clean. My little ones loved the rides and boardwalk games, and I want to thank Xhen, I believe that was her name tag, for being extremely patient at the game my grandniece played multiple times. I come here every summer and we always have so much fun

We recently had our daughter’s birthday at Fantasy Island. We had the absolute best time. The staff was amazing, attentive, and accommodating. Scott went above and beyond. He’s great with communicating. Highly recommend. We will definitely do future bday parties there because it’s not an experience that gets old. It’s too much fun! Thanks you all at Fantasy Island!

Kids have grown up coming to Fantasy Island and at 9 and 11 are still not tired of it! Very clean and staff always friendly ❤️ Son was super bummed the lighthouse (both of their absolute faves) wasn't operating this year when we went, but he still has a good time

Google
Feels like wildwood crest or ocean city amusement park but much cleaner and civilized. Staff everywhere to clean bathrooms and pick up trash. Mix of rides, arcade, games and food options. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive. Has parking too in the back. All it needs is a beer garden nearby.

Great place to host my 7 year old's birthday party. It was so easy to schedule online and the ladies working the party were attentive and handled everything, from the games to the pizza and cupcakes. Everything was clean and new. All the kids loved the arcade and left with prizes. Would highly recommend visiting or hosting a party!

Cassy B.

Yelp
Fantasy Island is a great spot for some family fun. My boyfriend and I came with family and some little ones. Everyone had a blast. Tons of great ride options for all ages. The workers on each ride also did a great job. This place turns into a whole party at night - they even had a DJ. The kids really enjoyed themselves and it was great to see so many smiles all around. We didn't try the arcade since everyone was so tired from all the outdoor fun. Definitely give this place a try when the kids are bored, lots of fun!

Vivian R.

Yelp
We went to the arcade at fantasy island yesterday since it was a rainy day. There were hardly any people there since it is the off season which was nice! They had lots of different games to choose from as well! The prices of the games are a little expensive and you have to keep refilling your card with money when you run out. The average price of games was about $2.00 each. We bought a $10 card and depleted it within 10-15 minutes. All of the employees were nice and we did end up getting some candy with our points at the end!

Matthew L.

Yelp
This place has really come a long way, and it is now updated and refreshed and remodled and looks great and everything is new. First off, they went with a card ticketing system so you can buy one card to ride the rides and play the games etc. Also, everything is painted and the whole inside ground is redone and even the rides are newer. The prices are decent and the whole place just looks cleaner and newer. Such a good spot to keep coming back to year after year.

Wanda V.

Yelp
Perfect size for younger children and plenty to do. It's clean and relatively safe and just an awesome time all around for family fun.

Tatiana D.

Yelp
It has a lot to do here for all ages but some games had glitches which would eat some money or didn't work but overall a great spot for kids. out of the money you spend though you won't get any prize worthy AT ALL! LOL.

Kristin C.

Yelp
Rides are good for little ones. Not many amusement rides to pick from. Arcade is decent and has a good mix of non-ticket and ticket games. Too many claw machines. Would suggest not investing in more of those.

Kim R.

Yelp
Arcade was clean with lots of space. A few too many claw games but overall good spot for non beach entertainment for the kiddos. Wish the amusement park area was open. Easy parking but that was during non peak early June on a Tuesday.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
A good spot for families or kids but it's super expensive. You're looking at $6-$8 a ride which is quite a bit. The games are okay and the location is in a good spot.

Sam B.

Yelp
Me and my kids had a blast! We won a bunch of stuff and Joshua on May 28 at the ring toss was a really nice guy and you should upper the pay for him because he gave us an extra 2 because one of my three year old threw two at the ground by accident and we won!

Lori B.

Yelp
Fantasy Island has seriously gone dramatically downhill. The great rides were all replaced in last few years are mostly for younger children and are expensive, dull and uninteresting. Seriously, a boat ride with NO water?? The Giant Wheel is no more and was replaced by a flimsy version of the original ferris wheel. Paving was replaced with white pavers that are heat reflective and hot (just what you need on a hot summer day). No shade whatsoever. Money pit. Do not recommend.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Fun place!! my kids love going their and so do my husband and I. I love all the new arcade games!! they did an amazing job with my daughter birthday in February. No stress, easy to plan and they were a great help!!

Maria V.

Yelp
This place takes me back to childhood.... outside there is a small amusement park that has some rides that are fun for kids - buccaneer, ferries wheel etc . Nothing really for adults. Inside the arcade has a mix of some old school games like skee ball, donkey kong, super Mario brothers and YES my favorite of all time MS PAC MAN!!!! They have some newer games like The walking dead etc. I think you may find something you might like or try. What I like about this place is that it uses really money. Not tokens. Makes it easier to want to get it out of your purse and play right there and then ... then to have to go a change your money into tokens. I only spent like $1-2 and maybe 30mins to an hour but the enjoyment to play a life size old school and Ms PAC Man arcade gave me such pleasure :)

Maria Victoria I.

Yelp
Had our son's 7th Birthday party here, was awesome! Children had a great time! Staff was helpful and took care of everything...Easiest thing I've done in a while!!

Joe V.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming here for years. Great family fun. Like most places that have cranes, it's fairly hard to win a stuffed animal. We miss the old machines that took quarters and spit out tokens that you cash in for prizes. Miss the old poker machines. The rides are cool.

Shelby G.

Yelp
Flashback to my childhood at the shore. I'm still terrified by the Sea Dragon. The park is very well kept and is mostly geared towards the younger crowd. I have had fun taking my nieces and nephews here as there are outside rides, games, and an arcade. Tokens cost $1 a piece now and most rides require 4-6 tokens. This is a must stop if you're on the shore and worth the trip if you're on the other side of the island.

Townley C.

Yelp
Perfect summertime family fun. We loved this park. They had very short lines, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable; and best of all there were plenty of options in the water rides. Great adventure!

George M.

Yelp
Expensive- the arcade opens at 12:00 pm and the rides open at 4:00pm. Giving you time to drop 150.00 in an hr. We left and went to seaside. The ride s were open. Just another fun place that is closed in nj

Scott C.

Yelp
Sadly with everything going on in the one of my familys favorite place when my kids where little was fantasy island in LBI is on Fire I'm hoping all is well

Yaniv G.

Yelp
The Arcades Was Fine but The Hole Park it's self is Not Not Great so We Did See The Fireworks From The Distance that was Fine Just Because it was A Holiday so

Trish A.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience there tonight. I have not been there in over three years, but I was so thoroughly impressed with the kindness of every staff member I encountered tonight. They seemed to sincerely care about their jobs and the customers. Not sure who's in charge of training and hiring, but keep up the great work!! And thank you to all the people working this evening who put a smile on my kids' faces, as well as mine.

Virginia W.

Yelp
Best time I've ever had as a child. We had a bungalow in little egg harbor and frequented fantasy island. I can't wait to go back. It's not sleazy like seaside. It's beautiful and magical for a child.

Kendra V.

Yelp
Nice place for family outings but beware of the wizard of oz coin machine! The whole set up is a scam as it is impossible to get the 30,000 point bonus with the 7 wizard of oz cards , well getting all the cards is possible but as my family went to cash them out the manager told us one of our cards was invalid and that is wasn't from their machine even though it came straight from their machine! Please don't waste your time and money trying to get them all!

Kelly M.

Yelp
This place is great for younger children. I would say up to 8 or 9 years old. They have different rides of all sizes. They have an inside arcade . Yummy funnelcakes . They have bracelet hrs.. I think there hours are a little strange and you,can only use bracelets for like 2 hrs.. don't get me wrong my children used to love this place and we went at least 2x a year if not more . They are older now, so they have out grown it but its great for a nice quick night out to keep the kids busy . The arcade is great when it rains !

Marc R.

Yelp
Without a boardwalk on the island, there's nothing with a similar experience. Fantasy Island has little rides and a few games where you can win prizes so this is the closest you get to a traditional trip to the beach. After 30 years of coming to LBI Fantasy Island has reached the point that it's not even worth visiting. They have a captive audience and they abuse this fact with overpriced rides and non clean food choices. I witnessed two workers eating cotton candy straight out of the machine between customers...no gloves and no concerns that what they were doing was wrong. Talk about disgusting. I wouldn't have believed it had I not witnessed it myself. Makes you wonder what other gross stuff might be going on. After a recent visit, we decided we'll never be back. Our group of 10 that's been going for years has just had enough. Save your time a money and find a better option for entertaining the kids.

Sharon H.

Yelp
Went to this place with the kids at 12noon just like it says it opens on their website. Come to find none of the rides are open until 4pm because of a camp. That would have been nice to know so I didn't have to waste gas since it's so expensive now. Kids were greatly disappointed. Update your website!!

Jb R.

Yelp
You can't bring a small purse on the Ferris wheel, even if it's strapped securely to your body. We had to leave it at the bottom which is a bit uncomfortable and anxiety-inducing considering that's the very bag where you keep your money and other sensitive personal items. They don't say anything if you already have items in your pocket such as keys, a wallet, etc. A kid had to leave their small stuffed animal at the bottom as well. Probably would have been fine if the kid had wedged the stuffed animal into his pocket. Not sure why it matters either way though since technically anyone can easily take items out of their pocket at any time while on the ride without staff members' knowledge. Don't play the crane games. The claw picks up the item but wobbles so much it drops the item every time. Some of the claws will go down and go back up again with no clamping motion, making it impossible to pick up anything... $1.50 down the tubes lol. There is a target practice baseball game where you have to hit the clowns. The staff member manning this game is rude and definitely seemed to have no interest in being there. The staff members where you pay for your money cards are nice. Overall just okay. Definitely better for kids than adults.

Daniel P. P.

Yelp
Keith at the tilt-a- whirl ride does such a great job- he makes the whole experience experience so much more fun for the kids! His positive attitude and enthusiasm made our annual trip to fantasy island better than ever!

Leslie L.

Yelp
Our entire family had a wonderful evening at Fantasy Island. The park is so well maintained, cared for and clean. Lots of security makes me feel even safer with the kids running around. We had a tasty dinner, dessert and snacks through the coarse of the night and we were beyond thrilled with the amount of food, quality and prices. ( the ribbon fries are huge and plenty to share) They also had a vegan/ dairy free options available which is #1 in my book since my son always feels left out with his allergies. Our kids are 8 and 5 had a blast on all the rides, not sure I will be on the viking boat ride anymore since I think people could hear me screaming down to the causeway, but my husband and I truly enjoyed the rides too! The arcade is tons better than the years prior with even better games and prizes. We love the new digital system they have, no more wasting tickets and its easier to keep track of what you spend and win. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, many smiling faces through the entire park. I had experiences with many of them through the night and they were all very accommodating and really made our night even more pleasant. Hands down, Fantasy Island is the best place for family fun! I am sure will will spend a lot of time there over the summer and year round too! It's a staple in our family for sure for years to come!

Joey N.

Yelp
Came back yet again to Fantasy Island, and yet again I'm disappointed. Been coming here with my family for my entire 26 years of existence, and ever since they began updating 3 or 4 years ago its just constantly gone downhill. The best games are long gone, the new renovations just dont mesh, and theres somehow even less games and more nonsense. This place went from a "must stop by" attraction and a HUGE part of my shore vacations to a disappointment. I'd give anything to go back to the Quarter-Operated days.

Seamus F.

Yelp
Safe and fun. Courtesy and comfort the whole night. My sion and I had a great time. Games and rides managed well

Chelsea P.

Yelp
One of the cleanest public establishments I have ever been to. My husband even took a photo of the bathrooms to show me how clean they were. Lots of great rides and games for my 5 year old. We truly were blown away at how well kept this place is, and highly recommend!

Maria P.

Yelp
I see that other people thought it was a little pricey also, but I have to say it's a super clean little park. The staff is friendly and we didn't have to wait in any lines. I'm not sure if it was just an off weekend or if it always flows, but the kids had a great time.

Kim M.

Yelp
What a great time had by all! Everyone 2 years of age and older must wear a mask. There are sanitizing stations all over the park and several hand washing stations. The bathrooms were super clean and updated. The rides were great for our 3 year old who braved a few on her own. They allow the parents on the rides to hold the toddlers for free which I thought was very accommodating. The games were fun as well! You buy a card which is used for all games and rides. The rides take between 3-5 credits each. All in all a very fun, safe and memorable time. Great outing for families especially for the little ones.

Kitty K.

Yelp
My young kids spent hours in the arcade. Its very entertaining, lots of fun and good memories. But the prizes aren't worth the boxes they are in. They are cheap and flimsy. There are plenty of inexpensive small toys that will not break apart in an hour that could be prizes but instead every single prize is made of breakable plastic.

Tommy B.

Yelp
This is a major part of our reason to visit LBI every year all the way from Boston, MA. We love seeing the yearly improvements and all the staff was friendly as always. Can't wait to see what next year brings!!!

Ern M.

Yelp
This arcade over the last two years has been updated a lot. Just about everything has been converted to a player card (no more tokens or coins) any old games that relied on them are becoming phased out it seems. The skee-ball classic games are replaced with new ones that use a plastic ball. Pokereno is gone as well as Super Shot basketball. Just about all of the crane/claw games are way beyond player skill at this point. The payout during the summer season varies tremendously during the off season as well. Watch some people play and you will see the claw strength varies greatly as the coil power pickup strength vs retention strength are very different. One good thing though is because of the cards all the credits and tickets can be linked to your card via email/phone number so as long as you keep that active you don't have to worry about physically losing the vouchers. Not sure how the information is saved or backed up though... so there is always that.

Steve S.

Yelp
This is a nice little amusement park, especially for younger kids, but it is a serious money drain for what you get. $34 will get two kids four rides each on the bigger rides. Yep four 90 second rides for $34. And yes, you will spend more if you can't say no to your kids... I guess it's a fun place to people watch...especially the teenagers all trying to hook up. If you don't mind spending a small fortune on carnival rides being run by teenagers who would rather be hooking up, then this is your place...but I personally think the water park is more fun...still expensive, but more fun.

Pasquale R.

Yelp
Small little amusement park catering, of course, to the younger crowd. Their rides remind me of a mobile carnival that you go to when your local town has a festival. They do have an animal show which I hear is interesting yet humorous. Their prices seem to be high for what they offer. It's a decent stop (and pretty much only one) if you are looking for the kids to be distracted for while.

V L.

Yelp
Fantasy Island Very cute park. Since frequenting this park as a small child, it was interesting to see and test run the new games. Many of them worked very well. The new Space Invaders and other games were quite fun. The Skee Ball, as always, was a blast and did not malfunction. We won a stuffed puppy in the water gun game and the game itself worked beautifully. It was somewhat disappointing to see any and all of the pinball machines gone, but this is now, after all, the digital age. Took a while to get used to the digitalized bowling game. Many of the moving targets in the musical shooting arcade did not work. The kids really used to enjoy collecting so many tickets they could actually hold onto and see. Other than that, the park is meticulously kept and a blast for both kids and adults and the staff there is incredibly attentive and friendly. Thank you for welcoming our service dog! Very disability-friendly facility.

Jacob Y.

Yelp
The arcade is a fun thing to do on the weekends year round, and the prizes they have are pretty cool. Most machines are priced fairly, although avoid the claw machines; they are as close to being "rigged" without being a scam that you can get. Some will literally have the claw drop and raise without clamping until it's back to the top (meaning you'll never get the little stuffed penguin or puppy of your dreams) or the prizes are so big the claw CAN NOT physically pick them up. If something ever goes wrong, the staff is more than happy to help you out, so props to them for being on top of everything It's just like any arcade, have patience, scope everything out, and have fun. But avoid the claw machines ;)

M A.

Yelp
For those who want options sign up for the emails they send out during the off-season - Customer service person matt very helpful in explaining the cost structure of the place and they continue to make this a family destination. While at times I'm frustrated they have abandoned the token and now make you buy cards for the arcade I get they are using technology to better the experience

Claire K.

Yelp
This is a fun place to spend a summer night. The rides are on a token system. Although it is pricey, it is fun for the kids. Something for everyone's taste. Throwing darts for a soft toy hit the mark for me .there is also an amusement arcade, ice cream parlor and snack area. It is clean, staff friendly. All in all it was a great night.

Connor S.

Yelp
Been a few years since I have been to this park but last time I went to this park had a good time. Overall A good small park

Chris Z.

Yelp
This place seams a lot bigger as a toddler than as an adult. Lol. Mainly based for the kiddies but enough adult-sized rides for a night: bumper cars, small roller coaster, that pendulum sea dragon ride, ferris wheel. $20 for 4 rides on the adult-sized rides. Which is fine, as long as you don't want to ride all of them twice. The place is clean and has zeppole and funnel cakes, mmmmmmm. The arcade is standard for the shore. BOTTOM LINE: family friendly clean amusement park for a summer evening, however this isn't Great Adventure.

Zachary P.

Yelp
Joe T has the perfect amount of cologne! Service: 11/10 Games: 10/10 Memories: Priceless

Eamon C.

Yelp
Not sure if the ownership changed or they have new rules and regulations but things have changed here in the last 6 months - 1 year. Somewhat of a bummer, def not for the better. Hoping things get better in the next few years so I can take my son here, just like I did as a child.

Lanie B.

Yelp
This review is mainly geared towards the arcade, I haven't been into the amusement park side of this place in a decade. We LOVE coming to this arcade! They've recently renovated and we were worried it would take away some of the charm of the old place, but it's actually cleaner and better than ever! Great prices, great games, and great prizes! I don't think I've ever seen a game broken here. We always walk out with something whether it's from a claw machine or from tickets. The staff are typically kids but they are all very nice and attentive. Definitely a favorite place to go for a night out in Beach Haven.

K D.

Yelp
Great value Tues and Fri from 3-7 pm - $20 per person unlimited rides. Rides for everyone. Toddlers, kids, teenagers. No long lines. Efficiently run. Nice arcade with ticket redemption. Easy to find parking nearby with lots of food options.

Jared C.

Yelp
I have been coming to LBI for 5 years and was beyond disappointed to learn that Fantasy Island Amusement Park no longer has Michael Shwedick, the amazingly wonderful and talented Reptile Man, an educator/curator/entertainer or all things reptile on stage this Summer due to their attempt at furthering their profits. For all who do not know, Shwedick has been working at Fantasy Island Amusement Park in LBI for 32 years. His cheer, sense of humor, joy for all things reptile, and array of snakes, turtles, and lizards dazzled children and adults of all ages. The amusement park's profits should not compete with the entertainment and education of the many families who vacation on LBI year after year. If it's about profits, build a small theater and charge admission to see the show, I for one would gleefully pay.
