The office was undergoing renovations and reception is setup temporarily in a hallway, which made it seem like an amateur operation but that wasn't the case. Check-in was smooth if slightly long. ||Unfortunately, they put us in what was at some point a smoking unit as we could smell it. And there were some things missing from the kitchen but they were quick to remedy that as soon as we reported it. The beds were comfortable, no complaints. The TV package is pretty extensive.||The pool and activities were fun, and the pool bar was nice. Landscaping is beautiful and it's a very enjoyable place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stairs leading up to the slides smell like mushrooms but the slides were fun. ||Overall, I would say that this place is great value. I'm generally satisfied with my stay and would recommend it for those who want a fun resort feel and aren't expecting luxury villas. There's quite a bit included, a lot on offer, and many things we didn't even take advantage of, like buses to theme parks.

Fantasy World Resort Stayed December 30 – January 2 We had a wonderful stay at Fantasy World Resort during our holiday trip. We chose it because we were looking for a place with fun amenities, especially pools and activities, and it was also conveniently close to Magic Kingdom. The pools were spacious and never felt crowded. The lazy river was long and incredibly relaxing, and even though there were only two water slides, they were so much fun and never got boring. We also enjoyed the two hot tubs, which gave everyone a chance to unwind. Beyond the water area, there was an arcade, a ping pong table, and even a bean bag toss game — all great for both kids and teens. There wasn’t much to complain about, but the villas were a bit of a walk from the pool area. It would’ve been more convenient if they offered golf carts or shuttles. Still, I’d absolutely recommend this resort to families with kids and teens. It’s fun, family-friendly, and a great place to relax after busy theme park days.

We just had a fantastic weekend at FantasyWorld Resort! The included mini golf, foosball, lazy river, water slides, table tennis, splashpad, and foam party were big hits. We celebrated my birthday there, and having the full townhouse made it great to have enough space for the kids. We never had a problem getting a deck chair, it was very fun and relaxing! The bar food menu is great and reasonably priced, and it was fun for the kids to have snow cones and ice creams while I got an excellent pina colada. The poolside activities meant we never got bored.

Google
We really enjoyed our stay at Fantasy World Resort. Plenty of activities and the aquatic center is clean and well maintained. One of the best maintained mini golf courses we have seen in years. Yes bar prices are significantly inflated, so expect to pay more. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very clean. Basketball courts, tennis courts, climbing area are all clean and well maintained. I do feel like there could be a better choice in music as most of your clients are not teenagers, rather their parents.

Google
Excellent place to hang out at the pool/water park with the family. The slides were particularly fun, even for the adventurous adults. The pool, hot tubs, and lazy river were all excellent temperature. The life guards were present and attentive, but not militant. We were only there one day and didn’t get to try all the activities on offer.

Google
Very nice place. You get a villa with an upstairs and downstairs. Screened patio, washer and dryer so can keep clothes clean while on vacation. Full kitchen and dishwasher. Pools are clean and nice but reason for 4 star and not 5 is the pools. They say are heated but doesn’t feel the 81 degrees year round like they advertise. But other than that very nice place with activities for kids and family. Basketball courts , batting cages, rock climbing, very nice overall

Google
Objectively: All amenities were in good working order. Check in/out process was fast and simple. House was one where the downstairs had been renovated. Subjectively: We had a great time. All pools were functional. The rules are enforced pretty stringently, so kids who are a bit energetic will have to tone it down a notch. There are some renovations happening around the resort but they didn't impact anything. Townhouse was clean and everything worked. Whatever we asked for was delivered promptly and they even were able to cater to a less common request (I wanted an HDMI cable to borrow to connect my laptop to the TV). All staff were friendly and courteous. Location is all of 15 minutes from Disney Hollywood (no traffic). I would definitely return to this resort.

I have always enjoying there. Wonderful vacation home. So close to everything that you wold need to enjoy. I've been going there every since 2013. My family have always look forward to going there every year. Fantasy world is very clean, and with that , it is very comfortable to stay.

Yelp
When we checked in the staff attempted to charge us extra for a dog which they corrected. This resort was not too crowded and the pools and large hot tubs were extra special. I had a wonderful time in the pool area and the rooms were beautiful and well kept. I would love to come here again. The rooms were quiet and far away from any noise.

Yelp
We first learned about this resort through Interval International which charges a $200 exchange fee, and then the hotel charges another $238 fees for amenities. I was told that the amenities include: Wi-fi, a waterpark, gym, pool, tennis, basketball, and other sporty activities around the resort, however, they did not say it did not cover activities for children such as teddy bear making $17, snowcones $3, cotton candy $10, arts and crafts (ranges), tye dye shirt making $25. I think those should've been included given it is mostly a kids' experience. I met a few parents at the pool area and they all agreed. The water park was the main reason for choosing this place and made it worthwhile. First impression: it is small, with no gated security, an outdated lobby, and rooms. However, the rooms weren't too bad, there was a netted backyard that led to the outside which we loved. We noticed many owners had dogs and maybe they were there for a long stay. NO DOG POOP FOUND. Cons: The toilet blocked up (on our last day thanks to Thanksgiving dinner, haha) , the refrigerator leaked inside (they replaced the entire unit with another one) , the TV stopped working (they brought a brand new one), and the ceiling/vent was leaking when someone showered upstairs right on to the living room couch (they caulked the bathroom and left ugly footprints from their boots. During my stay, I had to ask for a mop, vacuum, detergent, and supplies. You can order it from Doordash and have it ready for pick up FOR FREE). Unfortunately, THEY DID NOT OFFER HOUSEKEEPING OR ADDITIONAL TOWELS during our week stay. They were very polite and seem to be working throughout the resort. It is not a horrible place to stay, just need a few upgrades and they will be fine. During Thanksgiving week, there were many children and timed activities around the pool. Others: You must wear a wristband around the resort to access the amenities, howEver, my partner did not, and he was not asked if he stayed there, so I thought about security around all the children. Keep them within reach and safe cause it seems anyone can walk into the property. Location is perfect! About 30 minutes max from all the major attractions! We did not eat or drink because it didn't look appetizing. The staff all speak Spanish, with the exception of a few English natives. Housekeeping is not included, but we were offered it cause we had an incontinent guest. She did not speak English but it worked out nice. PS- The pool was heated as the temperature went down, the sauna was always full, and the water slide is from 1-PM 5PM everyday. Lazy river and pools are open until 9PM. Front desk is 24/7. Ok, I'm done! :-)

Yelp
Comfortable, friendly staff great value for the money. It's my go to when I'm heading to Orlando

Yelp
RCI owner's exchanges BEWARE: this place is a mess. From the units to the grounds keeping all the way to management of the resort and the property managers managing RCI's accommodations. The units RCI owns here at Fantasy World need to be updated. Better yet, sell them and do it yesterday. Everything was in disrepair. The housekeeping was terrible and the AC was not functional. We arrived late at night to find that check-in for RCI members is not even at the resort but at another crappy hotel, Club Sevilla, 10 minutes away. We return to the resort to find our room gloomy and run down but we are so tired we crash into bed. Next morning, we wake to find ourselves in a third world hotel. No AC but it makes noise like it wants to work! The entire unit was not cleaned properly. There were streaks of frosting on nearly every piece of furniture. The floors were dirty with dried footprints. It's looks as if housekeeping never mops behind the doors or into corners. The upstairs toilet valve whistled every 15 minutes or so for about 5 minutes. There were lip marks on the living room mirror. The dishwasher top rack stops were missing so every time you pulled the rack out to put a glass in you had to hold the rack to keep it from sliding out of the dishwasher. The couch had food splashed onto the fabric and the arm chair was drawn on with ball point ink. Not a single lamp had a functioning twist switch and the upstairs twin bedroom didn't have a lamp at all. The screened porch was littered with leaves and dirt. The grounds of the complex were unkempt as well. Leaves were everywhere. This unit did not even come close to RCI's lowest expectations. I called the front desk, spoke with the supervisor, then housekeeping. I brought all these issues to their attention and asked for another room. They said they could not help me because all the RCI rooms were booked. The housekeeping supervisor, Debbie, said that they had recently acquired the contract to manage RCI's units at Fantasy World and were in the process of "dealing" with the problems. They offered for housekeeping to come and RE-do the cleaning (as if it had been done. Lol) but was not sure if it could be cleaned same day. I called Fantasy World and asked if there was something they could do. The front desk gentleman actually acted perturbed that RCI had pulled the units from their management after over 25 years. Whatever. Clearly this was a problem under their management. The evidence was the condition of the rental unit. I called RCI and they were able to find us a unit at Silver Lake Resort....a beautiful place with exemplary employees. Disaster averted!! Vacation saved!! Do not stay here. It does not matter how appealing the water park is. There is no way it is safe considering how they have maintained things over the years.

Linda Y.

Yelp
This resort, offered by Interval International, based on front lobby, old and outdated and reviews state bugs, furniture shabby and overall poor condition.

Nico F.

Yelp
I came to this resort as a exchange with my resort through interval international. First it's nice people are nice especially the the front desk. The accommodations are nice with the 2 story town house. The parking could do better by numbering spots accordingly. The bad is the extras paid $200 plus for exchanging then $200 plus for hotel fees. Yes it's a fantasy because it's not as big as pictured. Oh my luck they put me in the area of construction vehicle working early on repairs with the beeping noise.

Laura G.

Yelp
Excellent place to stay, clean and family friendly. Chris was very professional. He deserves a raise! Thank you, Chris, for all your help.

Lynne K.

Yelp
When you check in you are not told you will be given a starter kit of supplies. We were given 2 rolls of toilet paper , one roll of paper towels, one dishwashing detergent package, one laundry soap, one garbage bag for the kitchen & one for each bathroom. You have to wash & dry your own towels with a broken washer. Your dishwasher top rack is a problem, your door does close properly. Your washer is making huge sounds & takes over 2 hours to complete a wash cycle. You have to keep coming to the office for more supplies. The comforters in the second bedroom are covered with stains on them. Stay away from this place.

Tammi B.

Yelp
we stayed for a week family of 6. pool & activities great!! Room smelled of mold immediately when we walked in. whole family ended up getting sick within first couple days. kitchen cooking utensils and pans were small and inadequate for a single person let alone cooking for family. had to ask for soap, trash bags and TP daily. the freezer dripped water and leaked into fridge after putting ice in it. the washer sounded like it was going to explode when running, dryer didn't dry, not enough towels and they ask you to do your own towels. doors creaked. Roach in the kids room. Final straw we asked for late check out cause our plane didn't leave til early afternoon back to Colorado and they said they don't do that. would not stay here again or recommend even though pool was great, hoping we didn't bring roaches home

Yelp
Timeshared - Hit or miss. Stayed 2 years ago for a week, first time was pleased. A year ago for a weekend, was not pleased. 2023 week stay...2 bath/1 Q bedroom w/jetted tub and walk in shower, also with adjoining room. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room, floors, towels, bedding. Free coffee in office. Game room has pool table, Foosball, table tennis (1 paddle broken, 2 balls damaged), basket ball shoot (not fullyfunctional), jenga, TV, tic-tac-toe, etc, and a nicely-equipped gym. Nice size pool with separate baby pool area (lounge chairs and umbrellas need replacing), and Jacuzzi (2 jets working). Didn't grill this time, but a grill is available near the playground. This stay overall

Yelp
We have really enjoyed our stay. We love the pool, lazy river, on site store, activities club, pool bar, and arcade! I mean.. this resort has all you could need especially if you have a little one with you. They have daily activists for children (build a teddy, glitter tattoos, ice cream, painting, and more!) The villa is perfect for a family -- full kitchen, 2 stories, washer/dryer, 2 showers, plenty of space. Towels in the villa. Our villa was very clean when we arrived. Back patio is screened in with table, chairs, and lounge chair. The lobby will give you extra toilet paper and everyone we have come in contact with in the lobby have all been so kind and courteous! I recommend bringing detergent washer pods, dish soap, paper plates, and extra trash bags. They also have all those things at the convenience store in the lobby! There's also a little coffee shop there. We have done a few days at Disney -- there is a shuttle to the parks or you can drive. It's less than 15 minutes away. But we have truly enjoyed the pool the most :) We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Place is centrally located. Pool, lazy river and hot this were nice. Staff not so much. Came for our anniversary. Found little bugs around tub, kitchen, nightstand. Stopped at front desk next evening. Woman of color said "well it's been raining we get all sorts of creatures coming inside." Not very reassuring. After pressing the issue she said they have a "bug guy" on the property Tuesdays and Thursdays (regular occurance?) and would have them review and treat. Tuesday night no signs of bugs on kitchen counter but more on upstairs bath tub and bedroom nightstand. Woke up Wednesday with little bites on my leg. Little highway of bugs on dining room chair rail, crawling on kitchen counter and dishes. Wasnt sure anything was treated as they were increasing. Called desk again said they'd look into it but nothing changed. We gave up expecting anything. Day of checkout 845 am housekeeper enters unit without knocking. Sees me in my boxers and then announces "house keeping." I said what she was doing just entering. "Its okay." I said no its not. I called the front desk and talked to Chris who identified himself as a supervisor. I asked if it was customary to have housekeeping enter rooms unannounced at 845 am to see patrons in their skivies. At first he didn't really know how to respond. I said checkout isnt until 10 am and this was inappropriate. He said he would check with the house keeping manager but offered a late checkout. I told him I didnt really need a late checkout but said okay. When we did check out it was with Chris. I asked to speak with the manager. A young fellow came over. I explained that I was quite upset about the house keeper coming in unannounced seeing me in my boxers. I said I had read reviews that housekeeping tried to get people to leave early but thought it was just a one off but 845 am? He said that because I was checking out and hadn't paid anything directly to the resort (we traded in) that there's nothing he could do. He said if we were staying on the property he could have comped something at the bar or restaurant. What great customer service. Here's what you cant have? I asked where was this offer when I complained about the bug infestation? Crickets. He looked into a notebook and said the room had been viewed and treated. I said it got worse after the treatment. He said that's often the case because they put down bait. WTH? I said there was no sign of bait traps or that anything was done. Only more bugs. He said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do but told me to have a good day. Won't be back there again.

Sharon L.

Yelp
Checked in and in two hours checked out. Do not use these accommodations. AC wasn't functional. Wifi wasn't working. Location is unkept and depressing. This particular rental was behind an Arby's and smoke shop. I was very relieved that the manager refunded my money so we can stay somewhere else. For the amount of money paid you can stay on Disney property. This is unacceptable. People are allowed to smoke near the pool area.

Dennis L.

Yelp
Came with my family and we had a great time at this resort. The rooms were nices and they have lots of stuff to do, especially for the kids. Staff was excellent. We will definetly be back.

Andrea B.

Yelp
We stayed for the weekend with an RC exchange, and after struggles initially at check-in were able to get into our room. Unfortunately, upon arriving, there were ants on the counter, dirt all over the sinks and floors we decided to make the most of it as we would not be in the room frequently anyway, and headed upstairs up to try to shower Roche ran out from under the towels. Definitely not up to the normal standards you would expect. Upon checking out and explain the situation the. The desk clerk seemed more annoyed than concerned. She did take down a note, but that does not help that we stayed in a dirty room. Additionally, it had the most detailed check out list that I've seen we had to strip our own linens, bag them in a specific way, and remove all trash for threat of a $60 minimum fine. I don't mind doing a little bit of housekeeping before I leave, but it does seem outrageous that the room was dirty upon arrival given so much is done before the guest leave.

Yelp
DO NOT GOOO!!!!!!! The first rental we were put in had a weird almost finished jug of milk, nasty rugs, and ROACHES. When it was brought to their attention they changed our room and this one was a little better, still, I saw a dead roach, one ran across the stove and the drain was clogged. My mom complained to them and at the end if the stay the manager came to visit us and offered us a free stay be we chose to go. He also jokingly told us how the first villa had a roach infestation. When my mom left a review on Hotwire he felt the need to respond with a petty email. The summary of that was when you book through other websites you get the bad rooms and trying to validate our experience with a "I offered a free night". Let me clarify that these roaches weren't the oh in Florida you may see a roach kind of roach they were the small one that will get in your things and infest your car and home. They don't even deserve one star!!!!!

Bart M.

Yelp
Upon check in I was hit for a $238 resort fee. I was never notified of this change. This was a vacation exchange through Interval International. What a waste of an exchange! The unit was horrible! The carpets were black from dirt! I had to buy slippers. Hardly any tools to cook with. Place is a joke! Avoid if possible!

Dominique F.

Yelp
***Fleas and Roaches*** my family and I were bit up the whole weekend. DO NOT STAY HERE! Security told us they were completely underwater when the hurricane hit and now they are disgusting. We found roaches and fleas. They offered to come spray roach spray when we called the front desk. We were here from Ohio for the cheerleading summit at the ESPN center. We didn't have a lot of free time to deal with this. We had them spray and closed up all of our bags and put our food in the fridge. In the middle of the night we had to ask to be moved when we seen more roaches and also realized that we were being bitten up by fleas. In the master bed we found them on the sheets and also in the bathroom. They moved us to a newer updated unit and I still woke up the next morning with new bites! We caught one and it jumped right out of my fingers. When I asked for a full refund the front desk manager Kati and Ali refused even after I showed them all the bite marks on my body. She said the max she can refund me is one night stay. We've been here 5 days! Paid $988 to be bitten up and have roaches in my unit! Absolutely not!!! I can't afford to take any of these critters home with me and pay even more money to exterminate. One bite has blistered up and busted (Pictures included). The amenities here suck and the pictures are deceiving. Horrible customer service and hospitality. I will NEVER spend money with them ever again and I'm contacting my lawyer. ***This is a warning for whoever is thinking about staying here to run the other way!***

Colleen S.

Yelp
The place is within a 10 minute commute to Disney World. Hopefully your trusty gps will guide you there without incident. It was a good place to lay your head. Clean, comfortable beds. We got a two bedroom townhouse. King bed, two twins and a pull out sofa. Also, kitchen and laundry in unit. Screened in lanai. Our group rented a few of these and they accommodated the request that we all be near each other. There are pools and a lazy river but we were so busy we didn't use them ... some in the group went to the bar and enjoyed that amenity. We were able to check in without incident. Very friendly and polite employees. I'd try them again especially if traveling with a group.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Facilities are well taken care of. Pools are heated. Spa jacuzzis are closed indefinitely during Covid crisis. We did a four day stay and brought our dog along with us. I was surprised to see carpets in the pet friendly rooms, but rooms are cleaned and sanitized before check in. There is a dog park and different sections where you can take your dog to relieve itself. In these sections there are waste baskets and waste bags as well. PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG!! We are a family of 4 plus our dog and we really enjoyed this resort. There are many activities throughout the day by the activities center. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only taking off a star because it seemed like masks were not enforced. We saw a lot of people without masks on.

Lucia C.

Yelp
Great resort and had a wonderful time with my hubby! The staff are all friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The rooms were clean and the entire villa was great looking. The mini golf course was a little run down, it could use some sprucing up. But the drinks and the pool were great! Would definitely come back again! Also very conveniently located if going to Disney World! We were only ten minutes away, the shuttle wasn't very convenient with the times and only going to half the Disney parks but we rented a car so that was no issue! Definitely wouldn't rely on the shuttle for your transportation to the parks! But overall a great stay!

Chelsea G.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay last week, a family of 4 with 5 & 11 year old. We like the pools, lazy river, and water slides were cool. They do have a resort fee they charge. I think it was $198 for 7 night stay but booked through Expedia so I don't know if they would include that if booked directly from them? Any sight of rain coming anywhere near the area, they close the pools which is understandable and we went in Florida rain season. They opened them back up once cleared. We had a nice place, better than expected, our kitchen was more updated than the pictures. Love having our own small washer and dryer. Nice grills you can use. Would absolutely stay again. Their chicken wings were surprising delicious at the pool bar. Really liked they had small items for purchase, needed Tylenol and didn't want to run out, they had some to purchase at their tiny store. We had a great time staying here!

Kristina G.

Yelp
This is a review for the pool only. We were at our own place in Florida and had some guests with us who owned at this resort so they were able to bring us in for the day. It was nice. There are a couple of gated hot tubs which I did not try but they looked nice. There is a full bar and I think a place to get food too. Also did not try. There is a game room and some gaming tables. Kids enjoyed that. They did some activities at the pool like tye dying shirts and $2 snow cones. Always fun. There were 2 water slides I did not do but the kids liked it. I enjoyed the lazy river except when it got crowded and congested. Overall it was a fun way to spend a few hours during our trip. I am not sure I'd ever stay here based on the clientele at the pool. I'll just leave it at that. The family who was right next to us had a pile of burger king bags that they just left behind with sopping wet towels on the ground and a pile of dirty shoes. It was just off putting. And there were more like that - just a seeming lack of respect to the property. Not sure if that is an accurate reflection of a property but I'm only human and yes, I judge.

Lou R.

Yelp
Amazing!! I will be back here on a regular basis and highly recommend anyone coming here. Two bedroom Villa, separate living, dining and kitchen area. Also has a screen in patio. The hot tub was just so relaxing and felt wonderful. There are a few to try. We used the warm and hot tubs and loved them both. Everyone we encountered was so friendly.

Keith B.

Yelp
rented a 2 bed 2 bath condo for the long weekend. close enough to the parks to be convent, pool area is nice enough to hang out for the day. kids loved the 2 slides, while mom, dad, and grandparents enjoyed the lazy river and hot tubs. our kids are too big for the splash pad, but littles sure enjoyed it. they have hourly activities that the kids were really looking forward to. bar with reasonable food right pool side was great. We will definitely stay here again

Marie O.

Yelp
Arrived early before 4:00pm check in time. Reception Desk checked me in early - I was very pleased about that! Staff extremely friendly. The Villa I stayed in was just beautiful! I don't understand why some people would write that it is not up to par? The Kitchen was modern & equipped with mugs, glasses, wine glasses, dishes, pots n pans, glass Pyrex dish, cutting board, knives utensils, paper towels, soap, and a scrubby. Full size refrigerator. Nice couch and TV. TV's in both bedrooms! Bed Rooms were nicely decorated. Gym & basketball court. Villa even had a screened Lanai with table and chairs! Towels for pool were all rolled up. All the dishes were washed and inside the dish washer with a seal over the door, indicating that they were all washed and ready for use. The pool was nice and so was the other lap pool! Loved the Lazy River! We had an emergency with one of my guests, who lost their denture in the Lazy River. We contacted the front desk, and they sent out a maintenance man immediately to help us find it. In less than a half an hour he found it ! How awesome is that??? There are a lot of activities for kids of all ages. This is a wonderful place to vacation and the staff is so helpful and wonderful! I certainly will come back to this place for another vacation! Thank you, Fantasy World Resort, for making my vacation so much fun!

Colleen W.

Yelp
We stayed at the Fantasy World Resort from 10/4 - 10/8/12 in a two bedroom condo-like unit that had a kitchen, dining space and living room. At first glance, we found it clean but the decor is dated. On the second morning, we noticed a large wet stain on the couch cushion and saw that a vent was leaking onto the couch. A call to maintenance had this addressed the same day. There is a $50 resort fee to stay in addition to the price online. There is also additional charges for clean linens or toiletries and in room cleaning is available for more money. On our last day, we observed bugs on the first floor of the unit.

Maria D.

Yelp
Not a great experience during checkin. Staff are unprofessional and rude. Place is outdated. One of the slides hurts going down. You get what you pay for. We are from South Florida and go to Orlando 5-7 times a year as annual pass holders to Universal and Disney. While my daughter liked the lazy river and I liked the spaciousness of a townhouse compared to a hotel, our next planned vacation will be at Encore Resort at Reunion.

Virginia T.

Yelp
GREAT location to malls, disney parks, (15 min), 9 minto Old Town, shopping etc. Dont listen to all of the negatve reviews. The grounds were clean. The rooms were half renovated. The bathrooms and kitchens were brand new. The bedrooms and hallways were carpeted and didn't have the most modern furniture but they were fine. Everything was close and clean. The happy hour prices were great. The bar food was just that-bar food and it was totally fine! They had a few Jacuzzis on the grounds which were great and completely renovated. Matter of fact-all of the exterior was renovated and it was lovely day and night. The service and attention was great! Laundry was great-they providing all detergent. Kitchen was super useful and waS equipped with EVERYTHING! Modern, clean stove, utensils, cups, plates, coffee mugs, pots, pan, refrigerator etc. Reasons why I cannot give a 5. Not completely renovated (but the price was amazing) No bikes for rent on the premises. Some areas of the lazy river seemed dirty. There was buildup on the edges at times. (I suggest having someone go to those areas regularly to clean. Overall we were blessed with great weather in September and we had an amazing time in the pool each and every day.

Nicole M.

Yelp
The bad reviews here gotta be one-off type of situations.... I stayed here for 4 days, and thought it was great! I didn't get to spend time at the pool or bar - but CERTAINLY plan on coming back! The room I had was comfortable enough for 3 adults. Could have added A fourth person with no problem. But it was great! Will deff try them again to possibly use the amenities!

Yelp
This place is nothing like the pictures show. The rooms are a lot smaller then shown in the pictures. The second bathroom is the size of a cruise ship bathroom with a tiny shower practically on top of the toilet. The bathrooms have one roll of toilet paper and then you have to request more from the office. The sofa couch is old and worn out and not at all comfortable to sleep on. The room itself is not cleaned very well and there were stains on some of the furniture/carpets and floor. The towels are very thin and you are only provided with 6 regular towels and 6 pool towels which are also small and thin. You are not allowed anymore. The pooI has staff watching the slide and pool but they are all dressed in regular clothes so I am not sure what the point is because I doubt they would do anything in an emergency. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
We were vacationing with our teenage daughter and her friend and wanted a two bedroom, two bath condo. We booked everything pretty late and the pickings were slim. All of the photos on Fantasy World's website were beautiful, but upon arrival we knew immediately that they weren't a true representation of our accommodations. Our unit was old and run down. The bathrooms were pretty grungy and the shower in our downstairs bath was barely big enough to turn around in. The kitchen was fine, and I think the appliances had been replaced within the last couple of years. The seating downstairs - sofa, chairs, dining chairs and the one barstool - yes, we only had one barstool - were in fact old and dirty. The carpet on the stairs and upstairs was nasty and the washer and dryer were ancient and in pretty bad shape. Our screened in patio was missing the entire top screen. In our entire unit with three beds we only had one extra blanket. Only the master bed had a blanket on it. I went to the office to request additional blankets and was told they would send them immediately but three days later as we were leaving it was noted that the blankets never came. The pool was ok, but the lazy river was filthy. Like disgustingly filthy. And it was crawling with out of control kids. They were jumping in and pushing people to the side while they chased each other. It was crazy and clearly their parents couldn't have cared less. Thank goodness we spent very little time there, because it was pretty bad. So there was some good - the people at the front desk were friendly, there was an outdoor bar and a gym - we never used either but they both looked nice. The location was fantastic as it was only about 10 minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom and 15 minutes from Universal. There were grocery stores and restaurants very nearby and it was very near the interstate. Bottom line - I wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! REPEAT, DO NOT STAY AT THIS CRAPPY "RESORT". Ok, we are time share owners and the photos online are deceiving for what the conditions are for the condos. Broken screens, damaged doors, outdated furniture, shower with mold, shower with nasty hair from a previous stay, and a king size bed with two twin mattresses pushed together. There were tons of "sketchy" people around who appeared to be there on a government housing vacation. The property had overflowing dumpsters and several police patrols during our week there. The washer/dryer took me back to memories of the good ole days where it takes several cycles to dry your clothes and then they are shrunk. I travel a lot for work and to be honest I would have been happier at a Motel 6....maybe. Thankfully we were at Disney World for most of the week and only came to the "resort" to crash and to lay out at the pool. Find another place to stay or you will be extremely disappointed.

Yelp
After tons of researching resorts with a water park, I decided to book Fantasy World Resort. I found it on Groupon so purchased there. I later discovered that if you sign up for their free rewards programs and use the promo code, the price is exactly the same. Also there are some perks with booking direct like 2 complimentary drinks at the bar and free "grab and go" breakfast. But alas, I had booked through Groupon and it was too late to cancel and rebook directly at that point. Check in is 4pm, check out is 10am but for $75 you can get late check out until 6pm. We stayed in a unit in the 1100s. All the units are apparently 2 bedroom town houses. Ours was very clean and comfortable and fairly updated with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Everything was clean. There were some goofy things like I went to bake cookies the first night and the range wouldn't turn on. I then realized it wasn't plugged in!? So I pulled it out from the wall (it's light) and plugged it in. Also the freezer does not freeze-freeze and the temp was as cold as it goes. And the toaster- one slot has the heating elements all yanked out and that size was unusable so it took a while to toast enough waffles for 3 boys. We had the playground and tennis/basketball/shuffleboard/bocce ball/batting cages just outside our back patio. Mini golf was apparently a few minutes walk, but we ran out of time. You can check out all the equipment needed for the above mentioned activities for free from the activities center next to the pool. Sand volleyball courts were across from the pool. The pool was a 2-3 minute walk. The lazy river ended up being a lot longer than I expected. Pool was nice. BEWARE of the yellow water slide. My 7 year old went down it while I went down the blue and I wanted for him at the bottom. He was very shaken up when it dumped him into the pool- he was holding his head and on the verge of tears saying he hit his head a lot inside the slide. A short while later I saw another child come out and he was in tears holding his head. I told his parents the same thing happened to mine. I feel there should be a warning about the smaller kids. I then decided to go and it gets dark and twisty and it definitely threw me around and I came out dizzy into the pool. There's a great little splash pad area for the younger kids (makes me sad my little guy didn't want to play in that area as he's now too grown up, apparently). The spas were closed due to Covid (eyeroll) so I was super disappointed by that. Our second night, I was awakened by some noise that at first I thought was coming from the downstairs tv but after several minutes, looked out the window and there were several people loitering around the batting cage being loud at times. After 40 minutes of trying to drown them out with meditation music, I called the front desk and asked if they could send security over to ask them to be a bit quieter. Not sure whatever ever came if that because after about 15 min I was able to fall back to sleep. Over all, we would come back!

Yelp
Neighborhood is a little rougher than I expected and road noise was high. ( 2100 building) Condo is older but seems pretty well maintained. Two bed two bath is a little cramped for 4 adults... especially downstairs bathroom. That thing is tiny. They do put EVERYTHING in the dishwasher to sanitize though.... I like that. Check in was good. Our room was ready at 3 instead of 4 ( we were one of the few though) Staff was very friendly. Couch is not comfy and towels are very scratchy. Washer and dryer is very old and a little grungy. Lots and lots of kids... in fact, condo next to us has 6-8 kids ....just kids. Not sure how many adults. Parking fills up fast. Pool area seems nice and seem to be a lot of activities fir kids and adults if you're ate sticking around area. Near a grocery store and lots of fast food /restaurants. No sign of bugs or issues like that , just older and worn.

Yelp
I slept with a knife next to my bed. Super sketchy neighborhood and area. NOT GATED. It looked liked a low income housing complex. It seemed like some people rented there on assistance. Each unit seems to be owned by individual owners, so you never know what you are going to get. My kids were soooo excited to go down the water slides, however, they are only open 10-6 each day. They went down ONE TIME when our schedule allowed. The walk up the steps was horrific, mold everywhere, the smell made me want to vomit and the slides scratched all of my childrens' backs. They said it hurt to go down them. If you are looking for a "resort," this is NOT THE PLACE!

Yelp
I'm blown away at the service I have received here last week. From the office staff to the General manager, the experience was more than 5 stars. Never have I gotten such great service anywhere. I'm definetly coming back and I highly recommend to anyone looking to take there family on a nice comfortable vacation. The Villas are very roomy and quiet we showed up early and they held our luggages by the lobby and later offered to bring them in a cart. The staff goes above and beyond to answer questions and help make your stay with worry free. They villas are equipped with pots and pans and all the utensils needed for the entire family. Just have to look in the dishwasher. They completely clean and sanitize the entire place before you check in. I cant thank Steven enough for making my family and I feel so welcomed. I only wish I can give more stars in the review, they truly deserve it and much more.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Yelp
We arrived just before hurricane matthew. I understand that they needed to shut down everything due to the weather. However, they still charged us for the use of the pools. I had to complain about it, they eventually issued a refund. Next, the pull out mattress was nasty. See pictures. It was flat as a board. They couldn't fix it because of the incoming inclement weather. They finally fixed it the following day. Next the tub handle was moldy. After complaining, they cleaned up one side, but the other is still nasty. See pictures. Next, the king size mattress is 2 twin sizes. Good luck with trying to cuddle up on it.. They dropped off a pad so we couldn't feel the split. I feel like I was cheated with this place. I am currently still waiting for them to come put the pad on it. UPDATE : They put the pad on, but I can still feel the bars on the edges of the mattresses. You would think that they would offer compensation for the horrible stuff I have had to deal with, but no.

Yelp
I stayed at this resort twice once in 2015 and again August 2019. I think it's a great place. I stayed with my 10 yo daughter, my cousin and her 10 yo son. The place was very roomy. We had a two bedroom villa, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, eating area living room and screened patio. The kitchen had every appliance you can think of as well as dishes. They give you a little bottle of cleaning supplies for the dish washer, washing machine (yes they have a washer and dryer in the house) and dish detergent. We decided to go to Walmart and grab more cleaning things because our visit was long. What they gave us wouldn't have been enough. The best part was there was a pool in the back of our little town house which the kids love. We were able to literally walk out the back door take five steps and go swimming. The pool is gated so you don't have to worry about little kids wondering off to the pool unattended. There is a main pool but it's so much going on there and the little water park we decided to just swim in the pool in the backyard. The guests there were super friendly. We met some pretty cool people. The location is minutes away from everything which is a plus. We had a car and I loved the fact that I was able to park in front of the town house. I didn't give it 5 stars because I feel like little things could use an update but overall not a bad place. We had a great time.

Yelp
This was the absolute highlight of my life! The resort was absolutely beautiful! The condos are self serving so no cleaning people coming in your place while you are gone. I prefer it that way. The bartender there was awesome and friendly and talented. I don't remember the young mans name but he could pour drinks with the palm of his hand and use the back of his hand as well. The liquid marijuana was expensive but understandable because of all the stuff that goes into it. We also ordered a draft and sweet tea vodka drink and that price was awesome! This is very kid friendly. We visited the gym once and it was good except one of the machines was missing the weights. The lazy river was awesome. The hot tubs were closed. They have two pools but the less busy one only went to 4'6" deepest, no diving board. I didn't get in other one it was very shallow 3 ft I believe. But the slides were awesome and I went through the lazy river more times than I can count. The back porch was screened in that's a big plus win my eyes downside is no balcony which I must've been mistaken because I think I read there was. Overall I loved it and wished I could live here full time. Headed back home today. Bye Florida hope to see you again soon.

Yelp
Awesome resort, but I suggest the privately owned units instead of booking the resort owned/managed ones or timeshares. The privately owned units are updated while the resort ones are still old looking. Besides that, is less headache checking in and we could contact the owner at any time if needed anything. Recently spend amazing two weeks at the unit located at Wet n Wild Ct, booked thru Airbnb. We were very happy with the cleanliness, updated furniture and electronics. We all used all the amenities of the resort. Kids loved it. We loved it

Yelp
Hotel part is super nice, security is super nice and on point. But the bar there ruined my experience with this hotel, rude employees who can't keep track of who is next in line. Took me 30 mins to order food at a not so busy bar than they forgot to deliver it and gave me a attitude when I came to ask about it. Just so sick of people being rude while I'm paying for all of this and being disrespected by a teenager

Yelp
We booked this through a package with Expedia for Disney World. It was middle of the road as far as price and reviews were extremely mixed. We travel a decent amount and one thing I can NOT do is stay in a nasty place. The days leading up to our stay the review got in my head that I was ready to cancel and book something different, but decided to give it a shot first. Upon arrival I was presently surprised. The villas were a great size upstairs and down, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, screened in patio washer and dryer and full kitchen. Also the parking spot in front of your villa is also super nice. The only reason this didn't get five stars is that it could use some minor updating and there is no daily turndown service unless requested. This didn't both us but some people it could. Last but not least it is super close to everything. 5-7 miles from Disney World, designer outlets, and we only spent $4 total in tolls for a week (and that was from the airport). All in all i would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Our flight was delayed so we had a late arrival, which was no problem. Our villa was clean and ready for our 1145pm check in. We didn't have many problems in our villa however, our neighbors left shortly after check in due to roaches (they arrived 3 days after we did). Also, someone in the vicinity liked to smoke weed so we would be on the back porch and start to smell weed on a daily basis so we would have to go inside. My other cons are, the villa sleeps 6 but they only gave enough towels and toilet paper for 4.... had to buy my own TP. As I was writing this review, a police helicopter was circling the resort multiple times.. oh the pools.. big pool was a bit warm but family friendly. Water slides we fun but the stairs leading up to them smelled bad. Lazy river is nice but a little dirty looking and kids running through it like a playground. The plus side... clean, nice and cool, no roaches or bedbugs in our villa. Close to lots of stores and attractions. Screened in back porch and as nice at night after it cooled off. I would stay here again.

Yelp
I did as suggested and called to get a updated room assured I would...but we got the "forgotten" room that they keep for storage and the worst unit there. You know "oh we are overbooked, I'm sure that they will be ok in this old unit." Doors were rusted. Grout has not been cleaned in years. The air conditioning shooked, ratteled, and rolled. Freezer handle broken. And as we were checking out we were telling "a supervisor" as it said on her name tag. We thought she was writing complaints down, but nope as we were walking away I looked back she wasn't writing anything down. I guess we should have figured that with the bored look on her face. NO professionalism in the front desk staff. AND OBVIOUSLY MANAGEMENT AND CORPORATE DOES NOT CARE!!! THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO THE YELP COMPLAINTS!!!!!

Yelp
Definitely avoid this place. Go to any number of the nearby resorts. The photos are great, but what they don't show you is this rude punk named Josh that works the front desk and the large semi tractor trailers randomly parked in the parking areas obstructing your view. There are also large construction dumpsters throughout the property for renovations that have been going on over a year. Banging from replacing roofs and now banging from replacing windows and THEY DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT IT. Pools are nice, but the jerk at the front desk is enough to ruin any vacation. Oh, and forget the manager, she hides somewhere in the back and doesn't have the courtesy to come out from hiding, return calls or emails. By the way, don't take the guided tour route---walk around the whole property. They have perfected the "time share" shakedown tour to conveniently show you areas they have spruced up, but the property is mismanaged and as an owner, you will pay for rude service and total mismanagement.

Yelp
This is the first year we have stayed here, and we found it lovely. The staff is nice, the pool is open to 11 which is great. It was quiet, and well kept. My teenagers enjoyed spending time in their own room, and the WiFi worked well! The unit was clean and we couldn't hear the neighbors. The lazy river is the best. Will come here again!

Yelp
Don't waste your money. Everything is run to the ground, pool is sooo dirty! My husband threw FOUR cockroaches out of the lazy river. The lady security was on her phone THE ENTIRE TIME!! She would even walk outside of the gate for her phone calls. I timed her and she was gone for 20 minutes one time. Can't believe we wasted our money here. Rough neighborhood definitely didn't feel comfortable staying more than 45 minutes at the pool.
