A must-see spot with epic views and literary charm Far de la Mola is one of Formentera’s most scenic and accessible landmarks. Perched on dramatic cliffs at the island’s highest point, this 1861 lighthouse offers stunning views over the Mediterranean – it’s a paradise for photographers. But there’s more than just beautiful scenery: right next to the lighthouse you’ll find a monument to Jules Verne, who mentioned this very spot in his novel Hector Servadac. The combination of sea, sky, cliffs, and history makes it a truly unforgettable place. Don’t miss it during your visit!

It is a nice place to grab a cold sangria or a beer and enjoy the light house view

Beautiful place. A museum is inside, but you are not allowed inside the lighthouse. There is a selfie-making stand. I've never seen something like this before.

Be prepared to walk! Have good shoes and take water or a few beers! No shade, and a 2 mile walk, but the views from the cliff edge make up for it! And hardly a soul in sight. The lighthouse is a lonely soldier!

It is lovely and peaceful. A lovely restaurant there to relax and eat. The views are stunning.

Majestic location and must visit for any visitors to Formentera. Beautiful views from the cliff tops and highly recommended to view the sunrise on the Eastern horizon. Also stunning place to go star gazing at night and watch the still functioning lighthouse

Fantastic place to see the sea and sunset. There's a bar nearby to have a drink as well, otherwise just overlook the Clift towards the sea. Beware of going with kids or pets since there's no protection.

Good view from the cliff top. Unable to go up the lighthouse. Handy cafe next to it. Fair walk from the village on a hot day

Yelp
The view was definitely worth the drive up there was no charge to be on the cliff side of the lighthouse. There was a cute gift shop and restaurant that required only paying customers to use the restrooms.
